No.22
Elly and Xanthe arrive in the dark. Elly hopes that Piper is safely upstairs. Xanthe points out that Hermione is not outside, Elly wants to check Piper's room. The lights come on upstairs and Terese tensely calls out asking who is there. Elly apologises, Xanthe explains she used her keys. Terese is surprised as it's so late at night, Elly explains they're trying to contact Piper, the car is there and she hasn't answered her mobile. Terese reports Piper isn't in her room and asks them what's happening. Xanthe explains they believe Piper is meeting a guy, Lachie at the Back Lane Bar. Terese wants to know who he is. Elly explains Piper thinks he's the mystery underliner. Aaron has told them though that Lachie isn't a nice person and they're worried about Piper. Terese grabs her keys and will go with them to the bar.

Lassiter's Office
Leo is behind the desk, Chloe in front of it in a dimly lit room. Leo is telling Chloe that they need to get Face of Lassiter's out on social media in a big way. Paul via phone points out they should use older types of media as people remember the original campaign, Chloe agrees. Jane calls out a few times asking if anyone's there, Leo invites her in. Jane wants to talk to them about her room. She's in her dressing gown and needs to talk to Paul now. Chloe offers to help, Jane isn't so sure. Jane explains she's next to the elevator and she won't put up with it any longer! Chloe is sure they can find a solution. Chloe suggests that Jane packs her things while Chloe contacts reception. Someone will come to help Jane with her bags. Jane thanks them and leaves. Leo tells Paul that Jane has gone. Paul thanks Chloe.

PAUL: She (Jane) can get a bit full on when she's channelling her grandmother.

Back Lane Bar
Terese, Elly and Xanthe arrive and a man offers to help them. Terese explains she is looking for Piper and asks if he's seen her. The man explains he's a cleaner. Terese is looking for security cameras, Elly discovers Piper's phone on the car. Terese wants to know where Piper has gone. Xanthe points out that Piper might have forgotten her phone, it's not definite that something bad has taken place. Terese in a calm worrying voice asks how Xanthe let Piper go off with a stranger. Xanthe apologises and wishes she had asked Piper more questions. Elly interrupts them to say their priority is finding Piper. Terese suggests they call the police.

Car
An upset Piper gets into a car and puts her seatbelt on. As she starts the car she has a flashback of Tyler teaching her to drive then them kissing. Tears stream down her face.

Lassiter's Office
Leo and Chloe are still at the desk. Chloe suggests a photo-shoot with Jane, she thinks it will be a great campaign promotion. Leo isn't so sure. Chloe thinks it will appeal to people and suggests they give Jane a makeover. Paul is agreeable with this idea

PAUL: This is going to remind everyone of the history of Lassiter's.

Chloe promises to do a great job with Jane's makeover, Paul points out they've done it before. Leo wonders if Jane will agree, Chloe is confident she can sort it.

No.24
Aaron comes into the kitchen in the dimly lit room. He is surprised to see Piper crying in Tyler's chair. He asks her what is wrong and asks if it is to do with Lachie. Piper nods, Aaron asks what happened. Piper says that nothing happened as she was able to get away from Lachie. She admits Lachie tried something. Piper was convinced they were going to have a great chat as he seemed to have a great love of reading like her. Aaron tells her how sorry he is as he knew how dodgy Lachie was. He wishes he had warned her but didn't realise Piper was going to see Lachie. Piper says that she needs Tyler right now and Aaron comforts her. Aaron reassures Piper that she is safe.

No.32
Leo comes to join Mishti on the sofa. Leo admits he thought he would be sneaking into her bed, Mishti admits she was unable to sleep. She prefers to cross-stitch than stare at the ceiling. She says she's ok though. The extra shift work has fired her body clock but she has lots of extra crafting time! Leo explains he is late as his meeting with Chloe and Paul went on longer than he thought it would. Leo doesn't want to talk about the Face of Lassiter's campaign and would prefer to go to bed. Mishti suggests he goes by himself as she's not feeling tired, she would rather stay up longer. Leo offers a massage but Mishti insists she'll be ok. Leo suggests if it's connected to the baby he can stay up so they are able to talk about it. Mishti tells him to go as she promises she will be ok. She promises to join him soon.

No.24
Terese is by Piper in the chair whilst Chloe and Aaron are stood close by. Piper says she didn't know how she would get away from Lachie. Terese tells Piper that the thought of it makes her sick. Piper recounts she did get her keys but was certain that Lachie would be following her. Chloe asks if they've called the police as she doesn't think they should let Lachie get away with what he's done. Terese tells Chloe that Piper was reported as missing but they should tell the police what has happened and whilst it's still fresh. Piper wants to go to bed. Terese tells her that even though it has been a horrible night Lachie shouldn't get away with what he's done. Piper tells them she feels like an idiot for misreading Lachie. She was convinced the underliner would be female and should have listened to her instinct.

AARON: Piper, none of this is on you, none of it.
TERESE: Absolutely this is 100% on him.

Piper is the one who took on all those people on the internet, Terese tells her shouldn't be scared to fight this. Piper promises she will fight this but wants to do it in the morning.

No.32
It is now the next morning. Leo comes into the kitchen to find a note on the table. Mishti wishes him a good day at work and has gone for a run. Leo quietly goes out of the house. Outside the house he finds some flowers. The note reads 'Mishti - thinking of you today - Monique'. Leo heads back inside with the flowers.

Lassiter's Complex
Jane is looking at the complex. She has a flashback to Mike taking pictures of her when she was the Face of Lassiter's. Chloe comes and asks how she found the deluxe suite the night before. Jane was pleased with it and thought it was lovely. Jane admits to being strident the night before. She explains at her age it's not easy and it's possible to become invisible. Jane thinks if she doesn't make a fuss things don't get done. Chloe tells her she's selling herself short, Jane isn't looking for flattery. Chloe tells Jane she is a vibrant woman in the prime of her life. Chloe tells Jane they want her to help promote Lassiter's. They want her to do the photo-shoot as well as being a judge. Jane isn't so keen on the photos, Chloe points out that Jane inspired the competition. Jane was also a model. They would promote Jane as someone whose business contribution has meant a lot, plus Jane is mature and sophisticated. Jane still isn't convinced!

CHLOE: Maybe you can show other women that feel invisible that they can feel valued too.

Jane wants to know what would be involved and Chloe starts to explain.

Elly catches up with Xanthe and asks her if Piper has been in touch with her. Xanthe says she hasn't. Xanthe had planned to pop in before work but she thinks Terese isn't keen for her to be there. Xanthe thinks she is to blame. Elly tells Xanthe that it wasn't her fault. Xanthe realises that she isn't to blame for Lachie's actions but thinks she could have listened if she wasn't thinking about work and breaking up with Ben. Elly points out that Piper was too involved in working out the mystery underliner and Aaron didn't tell Piper what Lachie was like.

Chloe comes over to them. Xanthe explains she had a bad night and doesn't feel she is able to work. Chloe asks if it is related to what happened to Piper and explains she heard what happened when Piper was at No.22 last night. Xanthe says she should have been there for Piper when she needed her. Elly reminds Xanthe she couldn't have been able to know what was going to happen. Chloe offers Xanthe a positive distraction instead of going home. Chloe has heard about Xanthe's style and fashion skills so wants her to do a magic makeover. Xanthe asks who Chloe has in mind.

No.22
Piper and Terese arrive home. Terese tells Piper that the police are dealing with it now. Piper is hoping that Lachie doesn't escape the charges. Terese reassures Piper that after what he has done Lachie won't be able to get away with it. Piper says that they've done all they can. She still needs to find the underliner if Lachie isn't that person. Terese can't believe that Piper is still determined to find the underliner! Piper explains that she needs to as they have a connection. The person is able to get Piper. Terese understands this and is having a hard time and missing Tyler. Piper tells Terese to let her get on with it as she understands this.

TERESE: Distraction is a valid coping mechanism. But the way you're going about it is very unhealthy.

Terese tells Piper she needs to make peace over what has happened to Tyler, Piper (whose voice is getting louder) says she doesn't need to make peace with any of it. Piper shouts that it's not time for her to hear it yet. Piper says she herself is smart but doesn't feel ready to be logical though she understands what Terese is talking about. She feels she really needs to find the underliner. Terese shakes her head.

Lassiter's Lake
Mishti is throwing little bits in the lake when Leo arrives. She explains she uses this ritual to remember. Leo tells her that some flowers have arrived for her from Monique. Leo asks if Mishti has been chatting about the baby to this person whom might also have had a miscarriage. Mishti explains that she was at the same Academy as Monique and Zander. They met through Monique and knew they were meant to get married today. Leo apologises as he didn't realise this. Mishti explains that she didn't want him to feel insecure so she didn't mention it. Mishti explains that Zander isn't the one she's in love with now, it's impossible not to think about him on this day. Mishti explains that Monique was meant to be her bridesmaid. Leo comforts Mishti. Mishti comments it's a very Monique thing to do to send flowers. All Mishti needs from Leo is for him to hold her, there's nothing more to say on the subject. Mishti admits it will be a bit of a sad day though.

Lassiter's Complex
The camera is being set up and Xanthe is getting the clothes ready. Jane arrives and says she hadn't realised they would go to so much trouble, she thought it would be a photo. Chloe explains it is just a photo and doesn't want Jane to be put off by all the fuss. Chloe rifles through the clothes rail, Jane is happy with what she is wearing (it's the same clothes as before.)

JANE: I don't want to pretend to be someone I'm not.

Chloe promises that is not what they intend either. Chloe suggests a red jacket that she says would really suit Jane and goes really well with the blouse Jane is already wearing. Jane agrees. Chloe suggests other glasses that go really well with the jacket. Jane points out she is meant to be there for her contribution and history. Chloe says things are more shiny when it comes to advertising which they are doing, Paul agrees. Jane tries on the glasses and they all like the new ones. Xanthe thinks they make Jane look younger which doesn't impress Jane! Xanthe hurriedly comments that Jane doesn't look older, they make her look even more beautiful and younger. Jane tells Xanthe that she shouldn't patronise her. Chloe tries to smooth over the situation. Jane tells Xanthe that she doesn't know anything about this as she isn't an adult yet. Jane doesn't want Xanthe to insult her by pretending otherwise and walks off. Xanthe looks mortified.

Rooftop Restaurant
Elly and Aaron are sitting at a table. Aaron comments it's not what Piper would usually do to not report Lachie. Elly points out it's not the first out of character thing that Piper has done since Tyler left. Piper has been angry to Terese and been obsessed with the underliner. Aaron laments the fact that Paige is no longer here. Xanthe comes to join them and Elly asks if she is ok. Xanthe admits she isn't ok but is going to keep her mouth closed forever! Xanthe explains that she has managed to frighten off the talent. Chloe arrives and Xanthe profusely apologises, she knows nothing about any of these things. Chloe tells Xanthe that she shouldn't blame herself. Chloe points out that it would always be difficult with Jane. Xanthe reminds her that Chloe had nearly got Jane to agree, Chloe shrugs it off. Elly offers to take Xanthe home as they're leaving soon. Chloe offers to buy a round of drinks. Elly declines as they're off to visit Piper. Xanthe declines as she's not at her best which Piper needs. Elly and Aaron leave.

A waiter who already knows Chloe's regular drink brings it to her. Chloe thanks him and realises that Xanthe needs it more than her. Xanthe tells Chloe that she is still 17. Chloe has pretended not to hear! She encourages Xanthe to drink it and anything else is on the house.

Toilets
Jane is looking in the mirror and freshening up. She takes the new glasses out of her handbag and tries them on. She admires herself before switching back to the other glasses.

No.32
Leo has arranged the flowers and wants to know Mishti's opinion. She tells him he shouldn't give up his day job! He offers her something to eat and wants to spoil her. She's not feeling hungry. She knows he is trying to help sort things out but she insists she is ok. It's ok to feel sad, it's normal. Leo understands and suggests she has a nap as she didn't get much sleep the night before. She agrees to nap and will ring him when she wakes up.

Lassiter's Complex
Terese from a distance is watching Piper standing by the book exchange waiting for someone to appear. Terese comments to Elly and Aaron as they turn up that Piper is acting as if nothing happened last night. She reports that she told Piper she can't do this over and over again. If they distract her Piper will be back tomorrow. Elly suggests that as Xanthe is off today she could spend time with Piper. Terese asks how Xanthe is today. Terese is feeling bad about losing her temper with Xanthe the night before, she treated Xanthe unfairly. Elly admits that Xanthe is feeling rather down and that she's a bad friend to Piper. Terese promises to talk to Xanthe. Terese worries that Piper won't help herself so wonders how they can help her.

Leo and Paul come out of the hotel. Paul tells Leo that he thinks that Jane will calm down given time. Leo starts to reply when a glass smashes at their feet. They look up to see Xanthe at the restaurant above. She giggles and greets them and apologises. They go and find Xanthe who is sitting down and apologising. Paul realises that Xanthe is drunk and asks her whom bought the drinks.

XANTHE: Chloe was just being nice

Xanthe talks about her bad day, missing Ben and letting Piper go into the city. Paul reminds Leo that if the police find out about under-age staff drinking there is a $18,000 fine plus bad publicity. Leo doesn't know why Chloe did this. Paul tells Leo to sort it out as Chloe is his assistant. Leo agrees.
