Lassiters Penthouse
Amy gets off the phone from Jayden. Paul says the safety inspector is revisiting the site later today, which will give her enough time to tell Jayden his services are no longer required. She says Jayden's improving and wants to give him another chance, while Paul thinks Jayden's a liability. Sue Parker no longer has anything on them, so she has no comeback on his dismissal. Amy says she'll swing by the yard now.

Number 28
Karl tells Susan that he's spoken to Izzy and told her no. He's sorry he ever hesitated. He explains he wanted to feel the rush and joy of a child and wanted to feel young again. That's the journey Izzy can go on. Karl says he loves Susan and he never wants to give her cause to doubt that again. Karl just hopes Izzy does the right thing with the hospital wing. Karl asks if they're okay. Susan tearfully says of course they are.

Erinsborough Hospital
Izzy is standing in the hospital foyer when she bumps into a nurse, Cameron. She tells him she's lost her purse during her tour of the hospital. She offers to buy him a drink afterwards, but he says his girlfriend is waiting on him just now.

IZZY: Just to be clear, I'm Isabelle Hoyland. The main donor who is about to drop $20 million in the new research wing. Your boss, Clive Gibbons, just gave me a tour. I'm sure he would be really disappointed knowing I was treated so poorly by a junior staff member.

She looks at his name badge and tells him to unlock the lab so she can get her purse and be on her way.

Fitzgerald Motors/The Handy Woman
Ben's surprised to see Mark at the garage on his day off. He tells Ben off for borrowing tools and not putting them back when he's finished. He tells Ben to order the spare parts and order them alphabetically, and cuts Ben off when he tries to explain how Tyler's system worked. Mark apologises and tells Ben to take the rest of the afternoon off. Ben offers for him to help work on his dad's old Kingswood. Mark wants to stay clear of his granddad for now, but won't explain why.

As Ben leaves he passes Amy and Jayden who are working at the yard. Jayden assures Amy he's got the yard all ready for the inspection. Amy says she has something to talk to him about but it can wait.

Harold's Café
Amy tells Elly how sweet Jayden is. Elly says Jayden's mum would get him another job, which means Amy wouldn't be his boss anymore and could ask him out if she's still keen on him. Amy says after what happened with Wayne, she's all about setting clear boundaries. She knows how tough it can be on a building site. Her boss took her under his wing when she started out, and Elly comments on how helpful Susan was to her, and Tyler was to Ben. Elly says Mark's head isn't in work right now so he might not be able to take over that role for Ben. Amy asks if Elly is romantically interested in Mark. She says she's just being a good friend.

Erinsborough Hospital
Izzy is in a darkened room, looking at the sperm samples of various Erinsborough residents, including Wayne Baxter, Shane Rebecchi and Karl Kennedy. She takes Karl's sperm sample and puts it under her top.

Erinsborough High School
Xanthe is pleased Ben has the rest of the afternoon off. Ben thinks Mark just wanted some space. Xanthe reads a message from her careers advisor who says it's okay for her to do work experience at the hospital in the maternity ward. Xanthe says it didn't go well last time she had work experience, but Ben reassures her that she has got this. Xanthe tells Ben she has to go to the library and do some studying, but they can spend the day together tomorrow. Ben's not sure what he's going to do with the rest of the day, but he'll figure it out. Xanthe runs off to join her study buddies.

Lassiters Hotel - Izzy & Holly's room
Holly comes home from school, as Izzy sits on the bed looking at the vial of Karl's sperm, before again hiding it under her top.

HOLLY: Is it safe to come in? No random guys hiding under the bed?

Izzy apologises for upsetting her before. Holly is glad Karl's too smart to fall for Izzy's plan.

HOLLY: We knew Dad might say no to having another baby, we have to respect his choice.
IZZY: I do respect your dad.
HOLLY: What, just like that? No poor me, this is so unfair.
IZZY: You make me sound so pathetic. You're the best thing that has ever happened to me. Whether or not we have a baby brother or sister is in the lap of the Gods.
HOLLY: You just need to find another way which doesn't involve Dad.
IZZY: Of course, honey, whatever you say. I promise.
She tells Holly to have a shower and then she could try on her new dress. She agrees they could watch a movie later.

The Waterhole
Steph laughs as Mark tells her about his attempt to hook up with Izzy. He says Izzy was persuasive. He asks Steph how she is. She says it doesn't help when she runs into Paige and Jack all the time, it doesn't seem fair that they get to move on so quickly. Mark calls Karl over and apologises, he didn't plan what happened, not that anything happened.

KARL: You do have to know she can be very single minded about getting what she wants.
STEPH: That's the polite way of putting it.
MARK: She pegged me as an easy target and I'm an idiot for falling for it.
STEPH: No, we're not saying that.
MARK: I'm saying that.

Karl says it's none of his business. He's going to get a bottle of wine and go back to Susan. Mark tells Steph he's not going to be great company right now. Steph tells him it will get easier.

The Handy Woman
Amy tells Jayden they got the all clear from the safety inspector. She says they still need to have that chat.

JAYDEN: It's okay, I really like you but you're my boss so it's probably best we keep our relationship professional.
AMY: Yeah, it's about your job.
JAYDEN: It's okay, I've had this talk before in every job I've had.
AMY: Jayden
JAYDEN: You're the only person who's ever believed in me, given me a chance without wanting something back. I'm sorry I let you down.

As Jayden leaves, Amy offers him an apprenticeship instead of casual work, it will give him an education and make it easier to get long term employment. Jayden is thrilled, and about to hug her but she tells him to keep things professional. He promises he won't let her or Paul down.

Number 28
Elly tells Ben that Karl and Susan are having a picnic which hopefully means they're calling a truce. Elly asks why Ben got the afternoon off, wondering if Mark isn't coping. Ben doesn't like all of Mark's rules and regulations, he's thinking of transferring his apprenticeship to another garage. He hasn't told Xanthe yet. Elly is sure that she'd want to support him. Ben goes to work on his dad's car.

Ramsay Street
Ben is working on the Kingswood, when Steph arrives with a part for the car that she got online. Ben can't wait to get the car on the road and can't believe that his dad worked on the same engine. Steph asks if Ben's free to jump on a plane tomorrow. He suggests they fly to Oakey. Ben likes the idea, he could ask his uncle questions about the car, and hang with his aunt Sally and his grandparents. Ben invites Steph to come, she could see Stuart. Steph likes that she wouldn't have to run into Paige and Jack, she says she'll give Stuart a call and see if he has a spare bed. Ben realises he promised Xanthe to spend the day with her tomorrow. He says they should do it another time, or get the car roadworthy and drive down for a home visit. Ben thinks he could bring Xanthe along, it would be awesome.

Lassiters Penthouse
Amy tells Paul about offering Jayden an apprenticeship. Paul wonders why she's keeping him on, does she feel sorry for him? He says Jayden's a liability and his mother hates him and the project. He wonders if Sue has something over her. Amy says she doesn't, but she's project manager and he should let her manage.

PAUL: If there's another accident on site and this project gets shut...
AMY: It's not going to happen.
PAUL: You'd better hope it doesn't.

Number 28
Izzy visits Susan, who tells him Karl's back at work. Izzy is here to see Susan, about her decision to extend their family.

SUSAN: I think Karl's made his feelings very clear on that.
IZZY: Except you influenced his decision. I don't want to be accusatory, I understand how complicated this is for you and Karl. Is there a way that we could just make this work...
SUSAN: No.
IZZY: Susan can you just...
SUSAN: No! Save your time. Karl is very happy to put this behind him and move on, I suggest you do the same thing.
IZZY: I'm trying to give you both a say in this.
SUSAN: No Isabelle. You're trying to manipulate me the way you manipulate Karl.
IZZY: Well if he's open to manipulation, what does that say about your marriage?
SUSAN: You have money now, you are free to do whatever you want, but Karl chose me. He will always choose me.
IZZY: You just love rubbing that in my face, don't you?
SUSAN: Do you want to know the truth? Yes I do! You have never given a single thought to anyone but yourself. You lie, you cheat, you stop at nothing to get what you want.
IZZY: That's not fair!
SUSAN: But this, this is something you cannot have! This will never happen! So why don't you show some dignity Isabelle. Admit defeat.

Susan shows Izzy the door. Izzy briefly places her hand on her top (where she presumably is still keeping the vial of Karl's sperm.)

IZZY: You're right, I don't know why I thought things would be different this time.

Susan closes the door on Izzy as she leaves.

Harold's Café
Ben tells Xanthe she works too hard. Xanthe is just finishing an essay, she wants it out of the way so they can spend the day together tomorrow. She suggests they go to the cinema to watch a doco on Radio Birdman, as she knows he listens to them all the time. Then they could go for dinner and see a band afterwards. Ben says it's a day for him basically, she says she's happy if he's happy. She asks if he's happy. Ben says it's work stuff and life stuff, she says that they can escape it all tomorrow. Ben tells her about Steph's suggestion that they fly up to Oakey. Xanthe tells him to cancel their date and go. She can't afford to miss two days of study and Piper needs her here, but she insists he call Steph and she'll suss out cheap flights.

BEN: I love you.
XANTHE: That's because I'm amazing!

Lassiters - Izzy & Holly's Room
Izzy comes home to find Holly sleeping. Izzy's app on her phone sends her a message telling her 'You are now ovulating!' Izzy takes Karl's sperm out from under her top, takes a moment to look at Holly and consider her decision, before going into another room.

Coming up on Neighbours
- Ben visits his uncle, but he doesn't seem to want to talk to Ben.
- Susan tells the Rebecchi's that it's in the past and they don't need to think about it.
- Holly arrives with booze for a 'party,' Yashvi and Xanthe look concerned.
- Karl tells Izzy that Holly's been drinking. He asks Holly what's troubling her.
