Number 30 – Toadie and Sonya's bedroom
Toadie and Sonya wake up. Toadie says he can take Nell to daycare on the way to a client. He suggests they have a counselling session today as they have a few things he wants to talk about. Sonya says she has a hospital appointment. She says it's just a follow up and she can postpone it. Toadie offers to have the session afterwards but she says she'll just cancel the hospital appointment, this is more important.

Brad tells Elly that he thinks Piper is telling the truth about the blackmail. Elly notices a lot of kids staring and laughing at her. Wayne approaches.
WAYNE: Really? You could have any man you want. Appalling.
Wayne walks off while Brad wonders what that was about. Ben arrives and tells them about the photo being in the newspaper. Ben messaged Angus and he swears it's a fake, he never took a photo like that. Elly sees the news article on Ben's tablet, she knows who did this.
Piper shows Willow the front cover and asks if she's responsible. Willow says she edited the photo but she has no idea who sent it to the West Waratah Star. Piper explains that Susan and Elly think she's involved, but she isn't going to take the blame for something she didn't do. Piper tells Willow to speak up. Paige arrives and takes the paper off them. Paige says she can't stop them gossiping about this, but she doesn't have to let it happen here. Piper tells Willow she's going to school and if she has a conscience she'll meet her there.
Steph and Lauren meanwhile are chatting about breaking up with Victoria. Steph says that Vic and Josie's relationship is suffering, and Steph's mental health issues are flaring up again. Steph is going in today to talk to the doctor, hopefully it's just a matter of adjusting her meds. She wants them to fastforward past all of this and get to the bit where she and Vic have a chance. While Steph and Victoria have broken up, but she still wants to be with her.
Sheila and Gary talk about the article. They know Angus had a crush on Elly, but she just thought it was a schoolboy crush and Sheila suggests that is why Angus took off so quickly. Gary wonders if Angus just took a cheeky selfie with Elly while she was asleep but Sheila doubts it was that simple. Mark arrives and tells them that this has already been investigated by the board of education and the police, and Elly has been found innocent. He says it's only in the paper because Tim Collins has no morals, and he has already called to complain.
SHEILA: There was an investigation and usually where there's smoke, there's fire. We all know Elly can be a bit of a flake when it comes to men. Maybe Susan covered it up.
MARK: Please, just drop it!
Mark leaves. Gary tells Sheila to leave Elly alone.
SHEILA: Don't you have to go to work.
GARY: I'm going now. Maybe you should do some too!
Meanwhile a frantic Sonya sits down with Mark and tells him she has to cancel the appointment to have an emergency marriage counselling session with Toadie. Mark tells him it's alright, she should just let him know when the test is happening and he'll be by her side.
Erinsborough High School – Susan's Office
Susan says Tim Collins should be sued for defamation. Elly says there is more fact than fiction, it doesn't once say that Elly did something with Angus, it's all just implied. Susan gets a phone call, there have been a lot of insistent phone calls from angry parents. Susan says she'll be sending out a letter later which will explain everything and they don't need to speak directly to her. Elly wonders where Willow is. Susan says Dee hasn't been answering her phone either. Elly asks what will happen if Willow doesn't come forward to explain herself. Susan decides to call Toadie.
Robinson's Motel – Dee's room
‘Dee' looks at her phone and sees the 8 missed calls from Susan. Willow arrives and asks ‘Dee' how she could do this. She says it was to help her, Willow's only in this mess because she spent all of the money and let her down. She wanted to show Willow that she's got her back.
‘DEE': This way if Susan calls your new school, we've got a comeback. The person who is trying to frame you isn't to be trusted!
WILLOW: What we're doing is bad enough. If people believe this, Elly could lose her job. How many more people's lives do we have to ruin?
‘DEE': So what? It's not for much longer. As soon as we get that cheque from Toadie, we're out of here.
WILLOW: Are you sure, because I catch you crushing over him and staring at that stupid ring. I think you're enjoying this.
‘DEE': Excuse me, I'm doing what needs to be done.
WILLOW: I'm so sick of hearing this. I'm not doing this anymore.
‘DEE': You don't have a choice sweetie.
WILLOW: Yes I do and until we skip town and this mess is behind us, I'm not talking anymore.
‘DEE': Good, I'm sick of hearing your voice.
Willow puts her earphones in. ‘Dee' goes over and sits beside Willow. She says Willow can't not talk to her. From Willow's look, ‘Dee' realises Willow is serious about it.
Paige is binning a bundle of newspapers. Jack says getting worked up like this isn't good for her or the baby. Paige asks about his ‘tradie' look, is he not priesting today? Jack says he's helping fit out the new refugee centre. They're going to hire people to run the day to day stuff and he thought about offering Dustin a gig. Dustin grew up in the shelter system, he knows what works and doesn't so it would be a good opportunity for him. Jack jokes he was annoyed when Dustin was last here he didn't visit him, only Paige. Paige asks can he blame him.
Meanwhile Steph sees her bike taillight has been smashed and screams at the top of her lungs! Jack runs over to check on her. Steph says someone has done this deliberately, either that or she's losing her mind.
Lauren serves Sonya. Sonya asks Lauren if her husband organised an emergency marriage counselling session, would she think he has something very serious to tell him, something so scary that he doesn't want to be alone. Lauren thinks he just wants to be a good husband. It's more likely he just really cares about her and knows she has some complex stuff going on and he wants the marriage to work. Sonya agrees and thinks she's been very negative about it all. Sonya says she has a little voice in the back of her head saying that Toadie doesn't love her anymore and he wants to be with Dee. Lauren wants Sonya to tell that voice to put a sock in it, Toadie will never leave her, no matter what happened. Sonya thanks Lauren.
As Lauren leaves, Sonya gets a text from Toadie: ‘Have to cancel counselling. Something's come up with Willow and Dee. Sorry! X.' Sonya calls the hospital and asks to see if the appointment she cancelled earlier was still available.
Erinsborough High School
Toadie watches as Susan meets with Piper. Piper admits that she sold the fake IDs but Willow was the one who made them. She had no idea about the photo until this morning and she definitely didn't send it to the papers. Piper says she saw Willow this morning and she said she had nothing to do with sending it to the paper either. Susan says that Piper is on detention until the holidays and they'll be cancelling the rest of her work experience.
After Piper leaves, Toadie apologises to Susan for Willow, he had no idea she could do this. He asks why she didn't contact him sooner, but Susan says he isn't officially her guardian. When she spoke to Dee, she was defensive at first and then called on their friendship and asked her to not tell Willow's new school. Susan apologises for dragging him in, but neither of them were answering her calls. Toadie will track them down and get them to come in.
Steph apologises to Jack for before, things have just been building up. Jack says it's only human to crack it, it happens to everyone. He usually does it in private as it isn't good to see a priest on a rampage. Paige brings over a replacement light for Steph. Steph looks over and sees someone looking at her bike. Steph rushes over and chases after the person. The person trips and as they turn, Steph realises it is Josie. Josie runs away from Steph. Jack asks why Steph let her go and who she was. Steph says it doesn't matter.
A doctor who isn't Karl or David is talking Mark and Sonya through the procedure. He says once they've located the foetus, he'll use a fine needle to extract the amniotic fluid. Then there will be another ultrasound to check the baby is okay. Sonya and Mark hold hands and tell the doctor they're ready when he is.
Robinson's Motel – Dee's room
‘Dee' invites Toadie in, telling him that Willow still isn't talking and she won't say what's going on. Toadie sits down with Willow and pulls her earphones out. He tells her he's not angry with her, he's really confused. He wants her to tell him in her own words what s going on. Willow glances to ‘Dee' but doesn't say anything. Toadie is trying to understand but she has done some seriously dodgy things. Willow shakes her head and walks out without saying a word. Toadie knew Willow was upset yesterday, but after they hung out he thought she was okay, and then it turns out she's some forgery genius who likes to blackmail people. ‘Dee' says she didn't know she could do that stuff either, but she made those fake IDs because she's worried about their money situation. Toadie wonders why they didn't ask for money. ‘Dee' says he's given a lot already and neither of them was going to ask for more. Toadie can't defend Willow forging IDs and doctoring a photo to blackmail a teacher.
‘DEE': She was worried if the new school found out they'd cancel her scholarship. Please, you have to understand, she comes from a place of having nothing. When you have a dream and that dream is so close to being fulfilled, you lose perspective and you take stupid risks.
TOADIE: I get that but that is no excuse. Sending the photo to the newspaper, that is just cruel. So silent treatment aside, there are going to be some consequences.
‘Dee' nods in agreement.
Steph explains to Paige that Josie is just a kid. Paige says Josie's an adult now and she should call the cops. Steph says that she's come in between her parents, she has a right to be upset. If she was just Ellen's then she would call the cops, but she is Vic's kid too.
Number 30 – Toadie and Sonya's bedroom
Mark settles Sonya into bed. Sonya is feeling a bit tender. She starts crying, she's tired and worried and it isn't just about the baby, it's everything going on with her and Toadie too. Mark hugs her and says he isn't going anywhere. Sonya thanks him.
Elly thanks Susan for the email she sent to the parents. Susan says it's helped that Tim Collins has taken the article down, but only because the police told him to. Mark rang and said the police have cleared Elly of any wrong doing. Elly is sent the photo with the words ‘Free Tutoring' written on it. Elly says no matter what she does, people will think she hooked up with a student.
Toadie arrives home, talking on the phone to Dee who says that Willow has come home but she still isn't talking. He says he'll have a chat with Susan about how to handle it. He asks Dee to keep him posted.
Mark leaves Sonya's room and tells Toadie that they just came back from hospital. He says when Toadie cancelled their plans, she went ahead and made the appointment. He tells Toadie that there's nothing to worry about but the doctors said she'll need to rest. Mark says he was just staying with Sonya until he got him, as she's a bit upset about everything. Toadie looks peeved and tells Mark he can go. Mark wonders if Toadie has something he wants to say to him.
TOADIE: Okay, since you've asked. I don't like the fact that I come home to find you hanging out in my bedroom with my wife.
MARK: Come on, you know it's not like that.
TOADIE: Do I? You've been buzzing around Sonya every second of the day. You've been calling her up, having secret meetings.
MARK: Secret? Toad, it's about the baby!
TOADIE: Yeah okay, she's having your baby Mark, she's still my wife. We need some space, that's it.
MARK: Space? You're never here, you're always running off with Dee and Willow.
TOADIE: How dare you bring them into this!
MARK: Why not? Part of the reason Sonya is so stressed is because you keep putting them ahead of her. You even cancelled your counselling session to be with them. How do you think that makes her feel?
TOADIE: You have no idea what you are talking about mate.
MARK: Well at least I'm here for Sonya. You're not!
TOADIE: Get out of my house now!
Mark leaves, while Toadie looks furious.
