Toadie admits to Karl that he just felt a physical and emotional connection with Dee during their chat at the motel.

KARL: Toad, you lost Dee on your wedding day. It's only natural that you're going to have feelings for her. The thing is, you haven't lived through the reality of marriage with her. The negotiations, the day-to-day, the year-to-year. That's true partnership. That's what you've got with Sonya.

Karl reminds Toadie that he didn't act on his feelings, and he won't, as he loves Sonya.

The Waterhole
Elly berates Mark for sticking to gender stereotypes when discussing gifts for the baby. She assures him that he'll be a fantastic father whatever the gender of the child gives him a massage to help him relax. Sonya spies the pair together from across the bar and looks startled.

Robinson's Motel
Willow returns home from her first day at Erinsborough High and says it was difficult pretending to be back in Year 7. She expresses concern that Dee has spent their emergency money on an expensive dress, but Dee ignores the remark and says that she just wants to make Toadie fall in love with the 'old' Dee. Willow tells her to stop messing with his head, and gets a text which means she has to leave.

No. 30
Steph drops in to pick up some of her clothes, but Sonya begs her to stay for tea. Steph says that she wants to give Sonya some space so that Mark feels comfortable visiting. Sonya tells Steph that she saw Mark and Elly being friendly together at The Waterhole, and recounts the details of their 'friendly' massage. Steph says that it confirms her suspicions that they've been eyeing each other up since her and Mark split.

Harold's
Willow joins Piper and Xanthe, who turn out to be behind the earlier text message. They ask Willow for her help to produce some fake IDs but she doesn't want to get involved. Piper begs that her life will be ruined by the girls at school if she doesn't make good on the IDs. Willow reluctantly agrees and Piper promises to take the blame if they get caught.

Lassiter's Complex
Steph asks Tyler how Mark is doing following their split, and tries to get more information about him and Elly. Steph claims that Sonya is concerned about him, but Tyler points out that Mark is entitled to have fun with whoever he wants. Over by the police station, Mark spots Steph chatting to Tyler.

No. 30
Toadie presents Sonya with a gift... of protein powder! She doesn't seem terribly impressed. He suggests they have a date night and get Willow to babysit, but Sonya says she has a Mayoral function at a bowls club that she can't get out of.

SONYA: I'll have you know that bowling, it's actually, really hip!
TOADIE: Yeah, hip replacement...

Toadie says that he just wants to spend some time alone with her, but agrees to reschedule for another night.

Erinsborough Backpackers
Piper praises Willow for the quality of the fake IDs that she's managed to rustle up. She apologises that she can't pay Willow for the service, but Willow is understanding as she can't believe Piper can live with Tyler in the shed. They share stories of hardship, and Willow says that her and her mum had a difficult time getting by on the farm. Piper has a brainwave, and proposes that they can fix both of their financial problems by making a business out of the fake IDs.

No. 24
Elly is helping Mark pick out paint colours in the baby's nursery. She tries to relax him by placing him in a yoga pose, and Tyler catches them being friendly together. Mark explains that he's planning on using Tyler's room for the baby and Elly leaves them to talk it out. Tyler quizzes Mark about his intentions with Elly, and relays his conversation with Steph.

TYLER: It's a bit fast, don't you think? With all of the baby stuff happening.
MARK: What are you trying to say?
TYLER: I'm worried about you.
MARK: Well you don't need to be. And you can tell Steph that if you speak to her again - not that it's any of her business.

Erinsborough Backpackers
Piper tries her best to win Willow over to her idea. Willow says that she doesn't want to jeopardise her place at South East Grammar and Piper agrees to drop it.

Mark drops by with a pregnancy book for Sonya and tries to clear the air with Toadie, insisting that he just wanted to create some space between himself and Steph.

TOADIE: You know she never meant to hurt you, right? All this surrogacy business, it's brought up a lot of stuff, for everyone. Not a lot of relationships could survive that.
MARK: No, though I thought that Steph and I would. It seemed strong. It seemed right, for me any way.
TOADIE: Kissing Victoria was wrong, but it's not like she had a massive affair behind your back.
MARK: Yeah but Toad, it's still cheating. And ultimately she had feelings for Victoria and kept them from me, I mean, that's just as bad, if not worse!
TOADIE: How?
MARK: It's emotional, it meant something. Her heart was with someone else and not just me.
TOADIE: I don't think it's ever that simple...
MARK: I get why you're sticking up for Steph, she's your mate. So let's just agree to disagree.

Robinson's Motel
Willow returns back to the room and finds that Andrea has bought lots of expensive clothes to woo back Toadie using their emergency money. Dee tries to defend herself, arguing that Toadie was married to her first. Willow panics, and says that they won't have any money left for food, the bus - or therapy. Dee ignores Willow's concerns and heads out for her 'date' with Toadie.

The Waterhole
Steph finds Elly and warns her that Mark needs to spend some time alone and focus on becoming a father. Elly insists that her and Mark are strictly friends, and she isn't planning on leaving him in the lurch like Steph did.

No. 30
Willow is playing with Nell and her dolls.

WILLOW: This one looks like she spent all of her emergency money, so she can be my Mum, Andrea.... Dee. I'm sorry sweetie, I know she scared you, but she didn't mean to. Sometimes she does things without thinking about them. It's not her fault. She had a scary mummy, who taught her bad habits. I hope you can forgive her Nellie, for everything.

Nell nods sweetly that she can forgive Dee. Piper drops in and asks if she can take over babysitting Nell as she's desperate for the cash. Willow says she's come around to the idea of the fake IDs if Piper is still interested. Piper promises to be the face of the business and take the wrap if things go wrong.

Harold's
Toadie tells Dee that he needs to find a way of staying in contact with Willow when they move away. Dee says that it won't be easy to arrange considering the way that she feels about him.

DEE: All those years. We were so in love.
TOADIE: Yeah, we were.
DEE: I would never have come back if I knew it was this hard.
TOADIE: I'm glad you did.
DEE: Really?
TOADIE: Dee, I never stopped loving you. But it's not just you and I that we have to think about, okay? So we're just going to have to deal with it, and move on.
DEE: How, how is that even possible?

Sonya returns home to find Steph napping on the couch. Steph says that she doesn't know where Toadie is and found Willow babysitting Nell. Sonya expresses her concern about Mark and Steph reassures her that there's nothing happening between him and Elly. Mark charges in and asks Steph for a word.

MARK: I want you to listen to me. Butt out of my life!
STEPH: I'm not...
MARK: What right do you think you have, talking to my friends and family about me. Telling Elly to back off. What's happening between her and I is my business, not yours. You got that?

Sonya steps in and tells Mark to calm down. Mark yells that it's none of her business, and Sonya says that she's concerned about him.

SONYA: You're the one that's bursting in here, you're yelling at Steph, you're hanging out with Elly. I mean, does that strike you as a stable father? I'm starting to wonder whether I should be handing the baby over to you at all!
