Number 30
Toadie explains to his wife that Mitch is her real uncle, he's vetted him thoroughly and didn't tell her because he isn't clean (he would have if opposite way around). She's peeved that she's the last to find out and despite what he's said, she wants to meet him so to prevent that, he puts the phone out of her reach.

Cue titles!

And there is an update this week too! Paige is no long in the shot with her parents, it's just them, because she is now in one with John instead (replacing the Imogen/Daniel shot). Kyle is gone too, it's just Amy/Jimmy outside the Handy Woman yard.

Number 30
As much as Toadie tries to paint Walter in a bad light, including the $5k, Sonya isn't listening so he tries a different tact, saying she's got too much on just now for him to be around her. "That's up to me!" she yells at him and isn't at all impressed at what he did and demands the phone, which Toadie hands over to her very reluctantly.

Number 22
Terese and Walter are about to resume their pashing when his phone goes (its Sonya) and once he hangs up, calls an end to their night with the hope that there will be repeat performance again.

Number 30
Walter is round and if looks could kill, Toadie would have killed him already! He confirms that he is Walter and that he knew about the stunt Dave pulled. Sonya is hesitant to believe that it's really her uncle but he confirms it by telling her things she did as a kid like her first word spoken (more) and that she used to sing into a hairbrush while he played guitar.

Number 32
Brad can't move quick enough to get to #22 after getting a text from Terese summoning him. Ned asks if him [Brad] disappearing bothers Lauren and while she says no to him, you can tell it's bothered her.

Number 22
Terese reassures her daughter that she is okay and sends her packing so she can talk privately to Brad who has just arrived.

Number 30
Walter realises he's missed a lot and wants to know how he can make that up to Sonya but before they talk about that, she wants to know what he's been doing and he replies partying hard and living the rock and roll lifestyle. He is very apologetic and explains that the death of his brother hit him very hard but wants to be part of her life now if she'll let him.

Number 22
Terese is feeling guilty about what she's done to Paul, even though she is still insistent that he is guilty. Brad asks if she's been drinking and she refuses to answer because he might not like what she says! "I just feel so not okay," she explains and then confesses to kissing a stranger.

TERESE: I don't know what came over me.

"The guilt of bribing Cecilia must be getting to you," he chooses to respond with and she says "yes" but refuses to admit to the police what she did, commenting that she did what she did because they weren't making progress.

TERESE: Paul took away our baby and your father. He needs to be punished.

Harold's café
Piper unloads on her brother about being kicked out of the house to let her parents talk. He subtly asks if she wants them reunited and she admits that now she's got to know them as individuals, she isn't sure that they are suited to each other. "Bottom line, dads always attracted to the person he can't have, it's his pattern," Ned says to which Piper agrees but seems more annoyed at them screwing her/people around which caused her to miss Xanthe's party. She tells him about doing her vlog again as a distraction and adds that after doing the interviewing, she thinks Paul might not be guilty.

Number 30
Sonya expresses her annoyance at going through her bad patch without her uncle's support and tells him to leave (like Toadie asked him to) because she's got so much stuff going on that she can't deal with it. Walter looks shell shocked at being sent packing and asks, "will I see you again?" and she replies that she doesn't know.

After Walter leaves, Toadie goes to comfort his upset wife but she pushes him away, saying that she'll get started on the dishes.

Number 32
Ned takes a break from preparing supper to tell Lauren about his concern that something is going on with Brad/Terese as he saw them together the other day. "That's not unusual," Lauren replies and isn't as worried as Ned thinks she should be, so he tries to put doubt into her head by embellishing things and adding in a suggestion that he is "hiding something."

Robinsons motel
Piper drops in to talk over with Steph her feeling that Paul wasn't responsible for the explosion. "Do you think he was framed?" Piper asks and Steph replies "yes" then shows her the whiteboard with the list of possible suspects Paul has come up with.

PIPER: Why would a guilty man do all of this, go to all this trouble?

The pair then run through some of the suspects on it (Dimato and Jacka) and Piper suggests there is a name missing - Chas. She explains he flipped out after she broke up with him and initially thought of him as the one responsible until Paul was arrested but now thinks it could be him. Steph thinks it might be time to revisit her hunch but warns her to be careful because he could be dangerous.

Number 30
Sonya is taking her frustrations out on the dishes/dishwasher than on Toadie so he suggests they use the money spent on counselling techniques to talk to each other!

Toadie begins by acknowledging that she's angry so she narrows it down that she's betrayed he kept Walter's attempts to contact her secret. He gets that but tries to explain that's because she needed protecting and apologises for the hurt that caused. Sonya hears his apology but can't accept it as she feels incredibly hurt with the lengths he went to keeping Walter away from her especially the lying to her.

SONYA: It just makes me feel a bit angry.
TOADIE: Yes, yes I get that.
SONYA: It's just going to take me a while to get over this, that's all.

She's also peeved that Steph and Stonie knew too, which he acknowledges, and now her anger has gone she calmly sorts out the dishes going into the dishwasher.

Number 32
Brad returns home and says after Lauren asked, that Terese is up and down but there is too many to go into specifics. She brings up the amount of time he's spending with his ex and while it's not upsetting her, admits she's beginning to notice. Brad explains that she's nobody else to talk to and that he wants to be there for her but just as a friend!

BRAD: It's hard to predict when she'll need me.

"No need to run your timetable by me," she replies then accepts the offer of a glass of wine.

Number 32 (next day)
Lauren is surprised to see Ned working out alone in the backyard and he explains Brad had some errands to run. He tries to put more into him being stood up by Brad and Lauren concedes she's starting to read into everything after he put the doubts into her head.

NED: So you doubt him?
LAUREN: I just can't help but feel there is something he's not telling me. I'm sure it's not serious though.
NED: Something that involves him spending time with his ex-wife?!
LAUREN: (trying not to raise to the bait) Maybe its shared grief? I just don't think they'd be having an affair, he wouldn't do that to me, not after everything we've been through.
NED: You're right, he's probably not cheating, it's probably just an emotional fault but if I do turn out to be right, and you need someone to talk to...

Ned goes to walk off but stops after putting an arm on her shoulder to add.

NED: Just don't be another one of his victims... you're too good for that.

The Waterhole
Walter comes clean about his true identity to Terese since she deserved to know the truth especially since Sonya does too. "Thank you... Walter," she replies and doesn't want to judge him for how he got Sonya to know about him. Nervously, she then brings up what happened last night and explains she doesn't normally do things like that and while he isn't sure what role he'll play in Sonya's life, he would like it if they could help each other. "That would be nice," she replies and offers to put in a good word about him to Sonya if she sees her.

After Terese leaves, Walter gets a call from someone called Roxanne and tells her that he's met Sonya but isn't sure if she wants to see him again or not and as the call progresses, tells her that Sonya doesn't know the full truth because "that would be too much."

Number 32
Lauren walks out into the backyard and literally gets an eyeful when the towel Ned had round his waist falls to the ground!

NED: Whoops!

Lauren now doesn't know where to look so rushes inside while he picks back up the towel to cover himself back up!

Robinsons motel
Jacka comes looking for Steph but finds the office unoccupied. His attention is drawn to the covered whiteboard and after pulling off the cover, isn't too amused to find his name on it as one of the suspects and in a fit of rage, he wipes the whole thing clean!

Lassiters Complex
Piper sends Brodie a text about catching up and gets an immediate reply saying what about now! She's puzzled by the 'now' bit so looks around the complex and spots him hiding among the trees. Nervously they wave to each other.
