- Sonya asks Steph if she'll consider moving in at No 30
- Daniel does the hard sell on Nate to get him to buy one of Paul's new- build houses
- Imogen is struggling to accept the new, money- oriented Daniel
- Kyle and Amy finally get together
Lassiter's Complex
Sonya is telling Toadie about her suggestion to Steph that she move in with them.
TOADIE: Have you got a temperature or something?
But Sonya says it felt right at the time, and that Steph needs a stable, safe place to live.
Ramsay Street
Steph admits to Amy how surprised she was at Sonya's offer. Amy says Steph should accept, despite her past issues with Sonya, as it seems she's ready to move on if Steph is.
Lassiter's Complex
Toadie wonders if Sonya's asked Steph to move in out of guilt for having misjudged her.
SONYA: No, no!
TOADIE: You sure about that?
Ramsay Street
Amy reminds Steph how people can change.
AMY: Look how Paul's come through for you. Tell me honestly, did you ever expect that?
Steph evades that thorny issue, but says that Sonya's different - she's always struggled to accept her friendship with Toadie, and Steph's worried that could rear its head again if she moved in.
Lassiter's Complex
Toadie tells Sonya he's up for Steph moving in, but reminds her that this is Steph's first step towards getting her sons Charlie and Adam back in her life - so if Sonya has any doubts at all, she needs to say so.
Ramsay Street
Amy tells Steph to do what feels right.
AMY: Take a look around. Do you think you could live here again?
Freestyle Housing Development
Daniel arrives to show Nate around one of the new-build houses he's trying to flog. They talk a bit about Brad moving in at No 24 temporarily, but Daniel's confident it won't affect his relationship with Imogen.
Daniel moves on to talking about the house's eco-friendly credentials and choice of finishes, then says it would be great for Nate and Aaron to have a place of their own, just the two of them. Other benefits he mentions include the tennis court, recreation area, gym and swimming pool. Daniel takes Nate in to show him the interior.
No 30
Toadie and Sonya come in to find Amy and Steph waiting for them (oddly, since neither of them live there at the moment). Amy leaves them to it. Steph explains her reservations about moving in; she'll still be under supervision, and her doctors will want to make visitors and monitor her progress. Sonya tells Steph they're willing to make that commitment.
SONYA: We want you to live with us. If you still want to.
STEPH: You're sure?
SONYA: Yes. Absolutely.
TOADIE: There is one strict condition, though. You have to watch the wrestling with me.
Steph thanks them, and says she'd love to move in. But she says there's someone she's been avoiding, and that she needs to go and deal with them first.
No 26
Sheila has been helping Jimmy make a working model volcano for a school project. He pours in the catalyst and makes it erupt all over the table. Kyle comes in, and gives Jimmy a letter that was addressed to him. It turns out to be an early Christmas card, from his dad Liam, with some trading cards in it.
Jimmy's delight at the trading cards is tempered by his disappointment that this means Liam probably won't see him at Christmas. He's still bitter about Paul convincing him to leave town. Once Jimmy has gone to do some homework, Kyle asks Sheila not to encourage Jimmy to be in touch with his dad - explaining how Paul paid Liam to leave after he stole Toadie's benefit money, and trashed Harold's.
KYLE: The guy's an absolute deadbeat.
SHEILA: No matter what Liam did, he's still Jimmy's father.
KYLE: It's not your call, Gran. Look, I know that - but it's Amy's decision.
Kyle says Amy wants Liam kept away, and for Jimmy not to learn the truth - so Sheila isn't to say anything.
Harold's Café
Imogen comes in and gives Daniel the completed sales contracts for the Freestyle houses, having cast her legal eye over them. Daniel explains that Nate is talking to his bank, and has pretty much agreed to buy one of the houses; now he's working on the next sale. Imogen says she's surprised to see Daniel so concerned about making money, but he claims it's because of what Paul could lose, not what Daniel stands to gain.
IMOGEN: Paul's very much been the architect of his own demise. You need to let go of this guilt that you feel.
DANIEL: This isn't about guilt, it's about family.
On that subject, Imogen says how much she's hoping Brad and Terese get back together. But Daniel quickly stops listening, as he messes about with his mobile - he's had a text from Paul, who says they've run into a financing problem. He rushes off to call Paul.
The Waterhole
Steph comes in to meet Belinda.

STEPH: Do you have any idea what you've done? You told Paul I'm mentally unstable - that I'm fixated on Jimmy.
BELINDA: Okay, yes, I used those words.
STEPH: What were you thinking?!
BELINDA: Jimmy is around the same age as Charlie.
STEPH: So? What, you thought I was gonna take him?!
BELINDA: Last time you were vulnerable, you took a child, okay? I wasn't gonna let that happen again - watch everything we've worked for together come undone, just like that. I spoke to Paul because I wanted him to keep an eye on Jimmy, okay? I was trying to protect you.
STEPH: Paul switched my medication for hallucinogenic drugs. I thought I was losing my mind. Then he was only too happy to drive me to Bendigo to have me committed.
BELINDA: Steph, I swear I had no idea.
STEPH: I told you how Paul operates.
BELINDA: I'm so sorry.
STEPH: Anyway - I called you here to tell you we're done.
Belinda protests for Steph to give her another chance, but Steph isn't interested, and walks away.
No 26
Amy asks Kyle if he thinks she's hard to live with. He reassures her not, but Amy explains that she thought she'd moved out of the Rebecchis so they could have more space - yet now they've invited Steph to move in. Kyle says it's just a timing thing and Amy agrees; she's just glad Steph can start to get her life back.
Kyle tells Amy about Jimmy getting the card and present from his dad, despite Liam having promised not to contact Jimmy again. Kyle thinks Amy should tell Jimmy the full story about what Liam did, and she says she needs to find the best moment. She also wants to keep her and Kyle's relationship from Jimmy for now, until they're sure what it is. Kyle starts kissing her.
KYLE: Gran took a very long shopping list with her. They might be gone a while.
So Amy decides to tempt him into the laundry room - for reasons best known to Amy - for some fun and frolics...
Harold's Café
Daniel is still on the phone to Paul. He agrees to an unseen Paul's suggestion that they should 'hold off from telling the buyers', and then hangs up. Rejoining Imogen at the table, Daniel explains that the bank has called in all Paul's loans, meaning they no longer have the cash to build the pool and recreation area at the Freestyle development.
Feeling guilty for landing Paul in the financial mess in the first place, Daniel feels under even more pressure to sell houses - despite having lost two key selling points. Imogen tells him that the clients will respect him for being upfront about the changes. He kisses Imogen and rushes off to meet Nate.
No 26
Jimmy and Sheila return from the shops with Bossy. Jimmy goes to put his shoes in the laundry, and is confronted by a terrifying sight which, happily, we the viewers are spared! We hear screams from Kyle and Amy in the laundry room, as Kyle tells Jimmy to get out! As an appalled Jimmy quickly exits, Sheila goes into the laundry and tells the pair of them to sort themselves out!
No 30
Toadie is getting through some work before he has to head to hospital next week. Steph turns up with her case, ready to move in.
TOADIE: Sorry about Belinda.
STEPH: You warned me not to trust her.
TOADIE: Yeah. Doesn't make breaking up any easier, though, does it?
SONYA: You're not having second thoughts?
But Steph insists not - this is a fresh start. Sonya is going to pick Nell up from daycare, and suggests Steph accompany her for a walk. But at that moment, Belinda turns up, having been told by the hospital in Bendigo that Steph has been discharged. She's appalled to learn Steph is moving in with Toadie, and starts a blazing row about it.
BELINDA: Is he the reason you cut me off? You got a better offer?
But Steph insists they're finished because Belinda betrayed her to Paul, which could have led to her never seeing her kids again.
STEPH: How can I ever trust you again, Belinda?
BELINDA: You can - you have to!
TOADIE: I think you should leave, Belinda.
BELINDA: Oh, of course you're happy now you've manipulated Steph against me!
STEPH: No - you've said enough. Just go!
BELINDA: You're making a huge mistake.
Belinda storms out, leaving Steph and the Rebecchis shocked. Steph apologises profusely for Belinda coming and making a scene, and Toadie says it's fine - but Sonya looks concerned.
No 26
Also apologising profusely is Amy, to Jimmy, for scarring him for life with her laundry-room antics with Kyle. Kyle listens awkwardly from the kitchen.
JIMMY: So what - you're boyfriend and girlfriend now?
AMY: That's right. We are.
But Jimmy's upset, saying Amy should be with Liam. Amy said she tried to create a family for them with Liam, but that it didn't work out. She explains she hasn't told him about being together with Kyle because she wanted to see how things worked out first. Dissatisfied with her explanation and for being kept in the dark, Jimmy storms off to his room.
KYLE: He'll be okay.
AMY: Yeah. I hope you're right.
Freestyle Housing Development
Daniel is trying to finalise the house deal with Nate, who's a little worried about paying the mortgage - but Daniel convinces him it will be fine, since he can always rent out the other bedroom. Nate agrees to buy, and they shake on it - just as Imogen turns up with coffees. Nate remarks at how he's looking forward to using the pool and recreation area, but Daniel doesn't mention anything about them no longer being part of the development.
While Nate's (barely) out of earshot, Imogen says Daniel should tell him that the pool and rec area have been axed. But Daniel says that everything he needs to know will be in the contract. Daniel goes to get Nate to sign on the dotted line.
IMOGEN: Daniel...
DANIEL: Later!
No 26
Kyle and Sheila discuss the awkward laundry-room moment.
KYLE: We weren't expecting you back so soon.
SHEILA: Obviously - my retinas are still burning!
But Sheila adds that Amy and Kyle are perfect for each other - before thumping him on the arm!
KYLE: Ow!
SHEILA: And that's for not telling me!
Amy comes in, saying she's having no luck talking to Jimmy - he's still upset that she's not getting back together with Liam. She goes into the garden, and Kyle and Sheila go into the living room. Sheila reminds Kyle that Jimmy loves him.
KYLE: Yeah, as a mate. Not as a rival to his dad.
No 30
Steph is apologising to Sonya for Belinda causing a scene earlier. Sonya says it wasn't Steph's fault, but makes a point of saying she'd rather not have that kind of confrontation around Nell.

STEPH: Oh no, it won't be a problem - we're well and truly done.
Toadie comes in, and tells Steph not to worry about Belinda - she's just got a 'weird thing' about Steph's friendship with Toadie.
SONYA: Why's that?
TOADIE: Well, we're friends, we've got history. She feels threatened by that.
STEPH: Yeah. She has absolutely no reason to feel that way, though.
TOADIE: No, not at all.
SONYA: Well, you know, when you love someone you don't always see things clearly, do you?
Steph insists Belinda won't be a problem from now on, and Toadie holds her hands, saying they just want her to be happy. Sonya looks concerned, and quickly exits to get dinner ready.
No 26
Sheila tries to bribe Jimmy into talking to her with a bowl of fruit salad. He admits he's upset about Amy and Liam splitting, but Sheila says it doesn't mean Jimmy and Amy can't be happy.
JIMMY: You want Mum and Kyle to be together, right?
SHEILA: Well that's not for me to say. And I know it's not the easiest of times, but your mum knows best - and she thinks she's made the right choice.
JIMMY: Dad is the right choice. Isn't that why they got married?
SHEILA: Well, maybe he wasn't good for her.
JIMMY: Well maybe Kyle isn't either.
SHEILA: Well, she thinks she can trust Kyle.
JIMMY: Well, she can trust Dad!
SHEILA: Well, some people mightn't agree with that.
JIMMY: What do you mean?
SHEILA: Oh, nothing, love.
JIMMY: No - what did my dad do? I want to know! Just, please, tell me. I know there's something everyone else is not telling me. What did my dad do?
Sheila looks conflicted.
