Brad is teaching a Health and Human Development class about social media (with a new Smart Board) and asks Ben to stop using his phone. Brad reminds them about the dangers of privacy online and sets them a task to imagine they're searching their own name online and how they'd react to a questionable photo appearing. Ben clearly looks uncomfortable about the topic and is quick to leave as the bell sounds, and runs into Susan in the corridor. He responds cheerfully to her questions about the lesson, but makes a dash as soon as he can as Brad catches Susan and asks her for a chat about Ben.
Ben is helping out Tyler but is still in a daze on his phone. Tyler convinces Ben he has nothing to worry about as his leaked nude photos won't spread further than Ballarat. Ben tries to deflect to situation onto Tyler and Paige, but the two are interrupted by Nate who's brought burgers from Grease Monkeys. Nate goads Tyler for his “intense emotional experience” with Paige, leading Tyler to proclaim that he'll make his move on her when the time is right.
Paige playfully chastises Mark for making her do all the work in order for them to reconcile. Sonya and Toadie oversee the couple kissing, and coo over their renewed relationship. Both of them get back to their work and can't agree on a schedule to look after Nell as they both have small businesses to run. Toadie reluctantly agrees to move some work around so Sonya can attend her seminar and tries to go in for a passionate kiss like Paige and Mark, but Sonya isn't having it!
Brad expresses his concerns to Susan that Ben is acting uninterested and distracted in his class, and Susan can't understand the conflicting reports she's received about the lesson.
BRAD: He sat through that class looking like he had the weight of the world on his shoulders, and if he wanted to work with the other kids, I did not see it.
Susan mentions that Ben has just broken up with his girlfriend, but instead of pressuring him to see a school counsellor she decides to investigate the matter herself.
Karl's on the phone to Susan and assures her that he'll look into the problem with Ben. Nate and Tyler return home and Karl questions them about Ben's attitude. Tyler skirts around the issue, and advises Karl that Ben doesn't want his grandparents getting involved. Despite the burger for lunch, Nate decides to make food and quizzes Tyler again about Paige. Whilst Nate suggests Tyler makes a move as soon as possible, Tyler is still convinced that he's only in with a chance once the Dimato debacle has settled.
TYLER: What if I'm settling myself up for a fall?
NATE: You won't know unless you put yourself out there. Remember what happened down the well? Paige might still feel something. There's only one way to get a girl like Paige, and that's to go for it.
Tyler has bought Paige a new punching bag and Nate helps him tie a ribbon around it – he plans to use the gift as an ice breaker to confess his feelings. He isn't entirely sure what to say to Paige, but Nate assures him the gift will work and at least they'll know where they stand as he puts the finishing touches to the bow.
TYLER: Did they teach you how to do that in the army?
NATE: You'd be surprised.

Brad approaches Ben in the corridor and asks how far he's got searching for himself online.
BEN: It's a stupid assignment. You shouldn't be teaching us to dig around in people's lives, it's creepy.
Brad advises Ben to use his opinions to fuel discussion with his peers, and that he should do the assignment with them to make friends, but Ben brushes off his advice.
Toadie apologises to Sonya that he can't move his work around to care for Nell, and Sonya admits that they can't rely on Judith to always take care of her and suggests they look into day- care. Sonya confesses she put Nell's name on a list for a new day- care branch at the Community Centre, and she believes Nell would benefit from being around other children her age.
SONYA: I just think that now's the right time, Nell will enjoy socialising.
TOADIE: Or she'll be so tired from running around all day that she'll be asleep by the time I get home. I'll never get to see her! I'll just be the funny bloke that drops her off in the morning!
SONYA: Don't be ridiculous, this is just about relaxing on the multi- tasking.
TOADIE: Whilst someone else raises our kid?
Toadie and Sonya descend into bickering over the advantages and disadvantages of childcare. Nate overhears as Sonya laments the time when it was just the two of them together without a young child.
SONYA: Look at Paige and Brennan, they have it so good!
NATE: What was that about Paige and Brennan?
No. 32 Backyard
Paige is startled to see Tyler installing the new punch- bag in her garden. He explains that he's worked up the guts to tell her something, but before he can get his words out Mark interrupts them both and puts his arm around Paige.
TYLER: Sorry, are you two…?
MARK: Yeah we came to our senses finally!
Paige thanks Tyler once again, but he makes a hasty exit and looks devastated once he's round the corner.
As Mark tries to choose a film for him and Paige to watch, she mulls over the idea of giving the punch- bag back to Tyler, as she thinks he had ulterior motives.
PAIGE: First test of the ‘no secrets' policy coming right up.
PAIGE: You know how me and Tyler were pretending to be a couple during the whole car racket thing?
MARK: Yeah, to cover why you guys were hanging out so much at the garage?
PAIGE: Yeah and it was completely fake. Except there was this one time that a cash- drop went wrong, and we ended up down the well, and we were scared, and we turned to each other like a real couple would. It was just this once, and it meant nothing.
MARK: Is that what Tyler thinks?
PAIGE: I'm not sure. I think he was coming over to tell me he had feelings for me, but then you walked in… I could be wrong.
Mark's upset that Paige kept the information a secret but she points out that they weren't together at the time. Mark doesn't know how to react to the news and leaves so he can think to himself.
Mark confronts Tyler about what happened in the well. He ensures that Tyler is okay with Paige and him being together, and Tyler insists that he doesn't have feelings for her. They agree to drop the subject, and Mark joins him in a game of darts. Enquiring about work, Mark scolds Tyler for making expensive purchases when he doesn't have a secure job, causing Tyler to lose it at Mark and leave.
Brad and Susan reconvene and they swap stories about how Ben's been doing. Brad re- emphasises that he thinks something is going on in his life, and Susan decides that they need to find him before they can start digging.
Toadie and Sonya pick Karl's brain about how he dealt with childcare for his own offspring, and Karl accidentally puts them off the idea by discussing childhood illness and an over- active social calendar! Susan enters and expresses her concerns about Ben's whereabouts, and Toadie and Sonya thank Karl for his advice and head out.
KARL: Tyler seems to think he's fine – he would know, they've struck up quite a friendship.
SUSAN: Right now I don't think he needs a friend, I think he needs his grandparents to ask the hard questions, like why did he turn up here out of the blue?
KARL: Okay, well how about we check out his social media pages, he never seems to be off those.
They go to the laptop and Karl searches “Ben Kirk”, but to their surprise the search turns up with 0 results.
Ben tells Tyler he has some free study periods, but Tyler can see he is still troubled and advises him to stop worrying about the photos, reminding him how forgiving Karl and Susan can be. Ben hints that the photo scandal isn't the only mistake he's made, but Tyler doesn't want to hear it and invites him on a road trip on his motorbike to clear his head – cue a bizarrely edited rapid montage of Ben putting on a bike helmet and the two racing off.
