Number 22
Terese returns home to Brad, who has heard what has happened with Nick from Kyle. Terese can't believe Nick would do something so stupid and that he would have been lying to everyone this entire time. She reveals she's spoken to Nick and that he plans to run. Brad wants to tell someone, but Terese tells Brad not to. She's not trying to justify what he did, but Nick is family and she loves him. Brad says if she lets him go, she'll be an accessory.

Erinsborough Hospital
Paul, Daniel and Naomi are still reeling from the news, it all feels surreal. Daniel tells Paul to try and take something good out of this, someone has hit the reset button and he can start afresh with his life. Naomi suggests Paul call Andrew and Elle to let them know what's going on.

NAOMI: And your well-wishers? Sue Parker sent you a card.
PAUL: I'd handle that very carefully and dust it for anthrax before throwing it in the bin.

Naomi happily bins the card. She leaves to get some refreshments. Daniel asks Paul what's going on with Naomi, as she clearly likes Paul. Daniel has a radar for these sorts of things apparently... (did Imogen's crush make it onto your radar Daniel?) Paul admits he enjoys having Naomi around.

Harold's
Margie is thanklessly hard at work, while Mark orders a muffin from Paige and tells her that he and Naomi broke up, although he's not really sure what happened. Paige gives him the muffin on the house.

MARK: What, is it a pity muffin?
PAIGE: Well I was going to say friendly gesture but whatever flips your pancake.

Mark accepts it and says there's no point dwelling on it being over. Naomi certainly isn't. Paige is surprised she's moved onto someone new already. Mark gets a phone call and leaves to meet someone.

Number 24
Imogen enters Tyler's bedroom. They sit down on the bed and start kissing. Tyler suggests they go to the movies, but Imogen says she's happy to see the film another time if he is. She starts kissing him then pulls away. She thinks she should go to see the film, it's one of the few CGI films that has a storyline. She gets a text from Josh, telling her to come home, it's important. Imogen leaves and promises to call Tyler later.

Number 22
Brad has just told Josh and Imogen. Josh thinks someone must have their wires crossed, Nick isn't like that. Brad says that Nick has confessed everything to Terese. Imogen is shocked.

Lassiter's
Terese rushes in, just as Nick is leaving the lift carrying his bags. He heads to the taxi. Terese tells him to stay, she can support him and make things better. Nick wants to help sick people get better, he was well on the way until everyone decided to persecute him.

Mark arrives having reason to believe Nick was planning to leave the country. Nick denies it but says it's a free country and he can do whatever he likes. Mark places Nick under arrest for recklessly causing serious injury, deception and making a false document and there will be other serious charges to come. Terese begs Mark, as he puts Nick in handcuffs. Georgia watches from afar as Nick is taken along to the station.

Erinsborough Hospital
Paul tells Naomi he has spoken to Elle and Andrew, they were relieved and they have cancelled their trips back here (a bit cruel of them!) Paul says they're chips off the old block. Paul thinks they should look at his recent business decisions and reassess on a case by case basis. Paul wonders if he can get back his money donated to the council for 'communication beautification' but Naomi says they can't get it back. Paul tells her not to send the letters to his children, he's happy for things to go back to the way they were.

NAOMI: Do you really want things to go back to the way they were? There have been some good changes haven't there, some personal changes?
PAUL: Yeah
NAOMI: We can maybe discuss it when you get better. Discuss us.
PAUL: Yeah, I couldn't agree more.

Number 22
Terese rushes in, angry at Brad for tipping off the police. He knew she wouldn't tell them, her loyalty to Nick is stronger than to anyone else.

BRAD: He's a crook who has always manipulated you, we should be grateful that his true colours have finally shown. Did they arrest him?
TERESE: You're enjoying this, aren't you?
BRAD: Of course not. Why would I want to see you hurt?
TERESE: Really, well you'll be pleased to know that they got him. Right when I was trying to talk him into staying, before I could make him see sense. Thanks.

Terese storms off.

Lassiter's Park
Nate is playing with a toy car, but Tyler is in a strop and doesn't want to do anything. Tyler admits that things are going well with Imogen, but then she got this call and... before Tyler can finish explaining to Nate he sees Imogen at the rotunda with Daniel. Nate asks if that is the end of the story.

Meanwhile Imogen tells Daniel that she's in shock. Daniel thinks Nick is kinda evil. Imogen looked up to Nick for making something of himself and she wanted to be like him. Daniel says the good memories aren't wiped out because of what he did. Daniel affectionately takes Imogen's hand (Imogen seems surprised, I'm not, just more evidence that Daniel's a caketaker.) Daniel says sometimes people do bad things and it's our job to get past it. He tells her not to beat herself up, and then gives her a hug, which she clearly loves.

Tyler gets fed up watching and leaves, while Nate follows.

Lassiter's Complex
Sheila, Naomi and Georgia are outside Harold's chatting about Nick, while B2 lies at their feet. They think what Nick has done is horrible. Mark has told Georgia that Nick has confessed to everything, falsely diagnosing Paul, setting Georgia up to get her fired, all in the name of curing cancer he claims. Naomi says Georgia must feel vindicated knowing she was right all along, but Georgia says everything is still up in the air, she doesn't know if she has her job back or if she'll be charged with stealing documents. Naomi says Paul has put in a good word for her with the police. Naomi offers to buy some champagne to celebrate.

Naomi approaches Paige and asks if she can drink a bottle of champagne from the Waterhole for a celebration.

PAIGE: You dumped Mark huh? For who? Some rich married guy, or are you back onto Toadie, huh? Or is it just another bout of cradle snatching?
NAOMI: You need to back off because my private life is none of your business.
PAIGE: Well Mark was one of the good ones. If you did ditch him for someone else, you're the biggest idiot I know.

Erinsborough Hospital
Mark escorts Nick to Paul's ward and explains that Paul has granted permission for this visit but it's highly unorthodox. Paul tells Nick he doesn't want an apology, he should just say what he has to say. Nick wants to explain to Paul that the dose of chemo was the lowest possible dose and there won't be any lasting damage, though Paul did get pneumonia from it.

PAUL: Are you expecting a thank you?
NICK: Paul, I just, I want you to understand. Everything I did, I did for the benefit of humanity. Even you have to admit all of this has made you a better person.
PAUL: Oh so you are expecting me to thank you!
NICK: Paul, please, please open the research centre. Don't let my actions ruin it for the community.
PAUL: Are you finished? Because here's what is going to happen. You are going to prison and you will never ever practice medicine again, I will personally see to that. Then I'm going to contact the papers and make sure that they will run your picture next to articles which will turn your name to mud. And then when you do get out of prison many many years from now, you'll be lucky to get a job shining shoes for loose change. And as for your precious research centre, yeah, I could take the high ground and support that worthwhile cause. Come to think of it, I might hunt around for a worthwhile cancer group and give them a sizeable donation. But as for your research centre, that I'm going to drop into a very very deep hole and bury it. You can take him to jail now.

Mark escorts Nick away.

(Later)
Paul apologises to Georgia for his part in the bet. He also wants to thank her for what she did, she took a big personal risk, and she saved him from whatever Nick had store. If there's anything she needs, she should let him know. Georgia appreciates that. Terese arrives and asks how Georgia is. She wants to apologise to Paul for what Nick did to both of them. Georgia thanks her and leaves.

Paul heard from Mark that Terese was there when Nick was arrested. Paul asks her if she would have let Nick leave the country? Terese was trying to convince him to stay, but he's her brother, she can't force him.

PAUL: Well stuff you and your brother.
TERESE: I know you don't believe me, but I really am sorry.

Number 28
Tyler is gloomily playing with the toy car on the couch. Nate asks him if this is still about Imogen. Tyler can't work her out.

NATE: Aw, is Mr Sensitive feeling used?
TYLER: No. Sometimes I feel like a dating experiment. She is all over the place.
NATE: Do you think maybe, just possibly, she's not as experienced as you are. It's only a gut feeling, but I'm not sure she's, you know, been around the block.

Nate tells him not to expect too much too soon.

Lassiter's Park
While walking B2, Sheila asks Naomi about the heated discussion with Paige. Naomi thinks Mark must have winged to her and she couldn't wait to put in her two cents. Sheila is worried that the promises that Paul gave Naomi might turn out to be self-serving. Sheila doesn't want him to abandon her. Sheila says Paul has a bad temper, a very cruel tongue and he's selfish and one of the most greedy people she's met. Naomi says Paul is never like that with her, and through this whole thing he has completely changed.

SHEILA: That level of change is impossible and the worst thing is you're ignoring Mr Right in favour of Mr Wrong and all because of your silly Florence Nightingale thing you've been doing.
NAOMI: This thing with Paul is real, the way I feel about him is real, no matter what you think. Oh and you think Paul is so terrible, well it turns out, we have a lot in common. But you know what, I don't have to explain how we feel about each other or try to justify what we plan to do about them in the future. Just stay out of it, alright.

Erinsborough Police Station
The Willis family are in the waiting room. Brad thinks this is a bad idea, but Terese says Nick is going to jail and she wants to say goodbye to him. Imogen gets a text from Tyler, which reads 'Sorry if I came on too strong before.' Imogen smiles, before Mark takes Nick outside. Terese offers Nick to get him some help. Nick says if it wasn't for her he wouldn't need any help. Josh offers to visit him.

NICK: Take care of yourselves. You're a bunch of failures the lot of you.
BRAD: Watch what you say pal.
NICK: Take a look closer to home, pal!
(He looks to Imogen, Josh and Terese)
NICK: Mediocre student, failed athlete, married beneath herself. I don't need any of you!

Mark escorts Nick out, while the Willises look upset.

Erinsborough Hospital
Naomi asks to discuss her employment contract with Paul. Circumstances have changed, but she'd be happy to stay where she is, by his side, and asks if he feels what is going on between them. Paul says he does. Naomi likes what they've got going on together, as does Paul. They hold each other's hands, while Naomi laughs happily.

The Waterhole
Tyler thanks Imogen for meeting him. He tells her if she's not ready to get physical this early, then it's okay with him. Imogen kisses Tyler.

IMOGEN: You, me, your place, tonight!
