Harold's Store
Mark is picking up takeaway from Margie, when Naomi barges in, telling him that as a result of his interference in her situation with Dimato, the guy threatened her. Horrified, Mark tells Naomi she has to go to the police - but Naomi insists he was bluffing and tells Mark to stop making a fuss.
NAOMI: The only difference between Dennis Dimato and the dodgy guys that hung out with Gary in Frankston is a suit, okay? I can handle him.
MARK: You don't know that. You don't know how dangerous this guy could be.
NAOMI: Stop trying to play the white knight, when I am just trying to conduct business. It is embarrassing.
MARK: Okay. Sorry for worrying about you (!)
He walks out.
No 32
In the yard, Amber, Paige and Imogen are all splashing about in the pool, enjoying a boy-free time of it. That's until Josh rocks up, ostensibly to give Imogen her phone which she left at home. She quietly accuses him of being here to see Amber, but Josh tells her to shut up.
Josh says hi to the other girls, but it's a little awkward. Paige comes over and reminds Josh that Amber wants some space. He says the last thing he wants to do is make Amber feel uncomfortable, and rushes off to do his community service. The girls get back to their water-fight.
No 30
Erin and Sonya are drinking tea at the window, watching Toadie and Bailey playing cricket on the street. They're waiting for Cat to turn up, and Erin's convinced she isn't coming, but Sonya says she'll be here. Sure enough, Cat pulls up on her bike. Erin's nervous about going out to say hello.
Ramsay Street
Cat is already critiquing Bailey's cricket skills.
CAT: Where's your spin?
BAILEY: Erm, hi. Sorry, who are you?
Toadie introduces them to one another.
TOADIE: Bailey's actually a pretty good bowler; I'm just a better batsman.
CAT: Oh, you're both deluded.
BAILEY: Okay, well how's about you put your money where your mouth is?
CAT: Gladly. We can't let your lack of skill tarnish the world's greatest game.
No 30
Back indoors, Sonya asks Erin why she isn't going out to talk to Cat. Erin says she doesn't want to interrupt her having fun.
Ramsay Street
Things are getting competitive between Cat and Bailey, but he looks mortified when she bowls him out first time. Cat goes inside for a toilet break, while Bailey agonises over his failure.
No 30
Cat comes in, and is civil to Erin, but a little frosty - still bitter about the revelation from her last visit that Erin used to watch her playing sports in secret without ever coming to say hello. Erin asks if Cat got her letter - she says she did, and agrees to come back in and discuss it once she's been to the loo.
The Waterhole
Josh and his fellow ne'er-do-wells are helping clear out the office as part of their community service, and Paul is bossing him about. He seems insistent that Josh should bin anything he finds, even if it looks important. Josh is rifling through a box, which Paul says contains stuff from his days of owning the Erinsborough News - and he wants it all thrown away.
Sue Parker comes in, telling Paul that he can't use council services to source his own private workforce. Paul says it's justified because he's making space in the storeroom for paraphernalia for the Erinsborough Festival, which will benefit the whole community.
SUE PARKER: That's ridiculous.
PAUL: No more ridiculous than when you used community service workers to maintain your lawn when you were acting mayor. How are your lawns now, by the way, Sue?
SUE PARKER: My gardens are none of your business.
PAUL: Yeah. Just like what I'm doing now is none of your business. And don't do anything stupid like trying to report this, okay? Because otherwise we might find we end up with a Lawngate scandal on our hands.
Thus defeated, Sue Parker grimaces and sashays away. Meanwhile, Josh has found some old rolls of undeveloped film in the box, and asks Paul if anyone would want to keep them. Paul says not - the journalist who took the photos, Jim Weir, is dead. Once Paul's gone, Josh smiles and slips the rolls of film into his pocket.

Toadie observes from the kitchen as Erin and Sonya talk to Cat. Erin says she knows she hasn't been reliable or honest towards Cat in the past, but that she's getting better and would like to start afresh.
CAT: I've kind of heard that before.
ERIN: Yeah, I know. And I know that I don't deserve your trust.
Sonya intervenes, saying Erin's been doing really well and wants to make things work this time. Erin asks Cat what she wants from their relationship.
CAT: I reckon... I'd rather play cricket.
Toadie says that's a good idea, and takes Cat outside to 'be humbled'. Once they're gone, Erin says Cat wants nothing to do with her - but Sonya says she just has her walls up.
ERIN: So what do I do?
SONYA: I think you should go play cricket.
Harold's Store
Mark has been telling Matt about Dennis Dimato bribing and threatening Naomi, but Matt says Naomi will have to come and report it herself in order for the police to take action. Matt adds that the previous allegations against Dimato are closed cases - so unless Mark gets him some new evidence, he can't help.
Outside Grease Monkeys
Mark talks to Phil Lloyd, one of the employees at Grease Monkeys, about the new owner Dimato.
PHIL: Yeah. Different face, same wages.
Phil says that Dimato seems nice enough, and that he's inside if Mark wants to meet him. Mark says he was just curious, which gets Phil instantly intrigued. Phil says Dimato pays on time and is always polite. Mark heads back to the garage, but someone appears to have been watching the conversation through the window of Grease Monkeys.

Josh has brought the film rolls round to show to Amber, explaining that they're all labelled 'Erinsborough Various, 1990'. Amber is as intrigued as Josh to learn what the photos might be of, and Josh says she should develop them. Amber's keen, as it would be good practice for her course, but she doesn't have a darkroom. She thinks she could use one of the rooms at the Community Centre, but would need to borrow equipment first. She knows someone she could ask...
The Waterhole
Amber catches up with Daniel, and they chat a bit about Off Air and how business is progressing - Daniel seems fairly positive, but the conversation peters out awkwardly. Amber asks Daniel if she can borrow his film developing equipment, and he says she can; she explains about the old film rolls that Josh got from Paul's junk. Daniel is excited and asks if she needs help, but she's evasive and says it's something she needs to do by herself. He's disappointed, but promises to bring the equipment to the Community Centre nevertheless.
Sue Parker comes in to talk to Paul, who's sitting at a table with Naomi. She's furious that he's left her off the VIP list for the Erinsborough Festival, and demands to know why.
PAUL: Because, Sue, VIP stands for 'very important person', and as such, only very important people are on the VIP list.
SUE PARKER: I am a member of council.
PAUL: Well is that it? Oh, wow. You used to be worth sparring with - what's happened?
Sue implores 'Ms Canning' to talk some sense into Paul, but Paul just tells Sue the decision's his and to get lost, as seeing her twice in one day is a bit much!
SUE PARKER: Oh, the feeling's mutual.
Once Sue's gone, Naomi complains to Paul that she was supposed to be in charge of the guest list. But Paul says he's taken control, since he learned Naomi's been on the receiving end of Dimato's bribe - Mark has told Paul all about it.
NAOMI: Oh, that man can't keep his mouth shut.
Paul says the fact Naomi held onto the money while she thought about whether to accept it means he can't trust her with the festival guest list; he has to maintain the event's integrity.
Ramsay Street
Erin has joined in with the cricket match, as Cat and Bailey square up for a second time. Bailey is in mourning when he is bowled out a second time by Cat, and Cat then encourages Erin to have a bat. Bailey bowls and she hits the ball hard towards No 26 - cue a loud smashing sound in the distance! Everyone looks horrified, until Cat encourages Erin to run!
Community Centre
Amber comes in to find that Daniel has already set up the darkroom for her, and has left a note telling her to 'have fun', with a smiley face. Amber looks sad. Josh comes in to help, saying he's curious to see what's on the film. Amber's not buying it, and asks Josh if there's another reason he came to her with the film.
JOSH: Yes. But it's not what you think. You know how I feel about you - it's no secret. But it sucks that it's become awkward between us. I'll go if you want me to, but I just figure the sooner we hang out, the sooner it can stop being awkward and we can go back to being real friends. That's all I want, honestly.
AMBER: I want that too.
They get to work, but as Amber dims the lights, Josh looks at her pensively.
No 30
The cricketers have a light-hearted debate over who should go and own up for smashing No 26's window. Cat praises Erin for a brilliant shot, even if the aim was slightly out. Georgia calls round to ask why they have a hole in their window! Toadie asks how she knew it was them; she shows them the cricket ball, which has Callum's name on it.
Erin owns up and says she'll pay for the damage, but Toadie tells her not to worry - he'll sort it out. Sonya invites Georgia to stay for tea, and she agrees - but Erin volunteers to go and make it. While the others are talking, Erin and Sonya excitedly discuss how well things seem to be going with Cat. Sonya suggests Erin invite Cat to stay for a few days. Erin's keen not to pressure her, but Sonya thinks it will give them a chance to relax in each other's company. Sonya thinks Cat will jump at the chance, but Erin seems unsure.
Harold's Store
Imogen is annoyed that Josh has gone to hang out with Amber in the darkroom.
PAIGE: Are you really surprised? Men don't think with their brains, Imogen, they only think with... Daniel, hi!
Daniel has just walked in, and he's ridiculously hyper from the 'adrenaline' of having set up the darkroom for Amber. Imogen concludes Daniel must have just run into Josh and had another sparring match, but Daniel hasn't, and deflates instantly - having assumed that Amber was developing the photos alone. Paige insists to him that Josh and Amber are just friends, but Imogen doesn't look convinced. Paige tells them both that they should have more trust in Josh and Amber.
DANIEL: It's not Amber that I have a problem trusting.
No 30
Erin has mentioned Sonya's idea about staying for a couple of days to Cat. Cat says that it 'could be cool', saying she'll have to check with her foster parents but that it should be okay. Cat thanks Sonya for having her, and bids them goodbye. Once she's gone, Erin and Sonya fall into excitement once again - Erin can't quite believe how well things are going.
Fitzgerald Motors
Naomi is giving Mark a telling-off for speaking to Paul about Dimato's attempt to bribe her, saying Paul basically accused her of corruption.
MARK: Oh, what? He can talk - he invented it!
Mark apologises for dropping Naomi in it, but she admits she's glad that at least Mark never thought she was capable of taking the bribe. Mark tells her she's a good person, and that's why he wants to protect her.
NAOMI: Oh! Never been accused of being a good person before.
As they talk, Phil Lloyd emerges from Grease Monkeys, looking miserable. He says he's just been fired, and when Mark asks why, he simply replies 'great question!' before walking off. Mark looks suspicious, admitting to Naomi that he was asking Phil questions about Dimato earlier. This winds up Naomi again, and she's even more annoyed when Mark admits he's also spoken to Matt about Dimato.
NAOMI: You could have saved yourself a heap of trouble and told my mother, and then that way the whole of Erinsborough would know!
Naomi tells Mark to back off, before he ruins anyone else's life.
Community Centre
Amber and Josh are in the darkroom, looking at photos they've just developed of the Lassiter's Complex and environs, circa 1990.
AMBER: It's like a moment captured in time. Thank you so much for this.
Josh then notices something in one of the photos. There's a couple kissing in the foreground on an area of grass surrounded by trees. And by the trees is something that Josh and Amber immediately conclude is a dead body! They look at one another, aghast.
Unmissable Drama
- Amber and Josh take their concerns about the 'body' to Matt, as it may be a clue in a cold case
- Paul is intrigued to see a copy of the photograph
- Erin panics to Sonya about her readiness to be a mum again
- Another cricket match kicks off in Ramsay Street
- Daniel's scared that Amber's feelings for Josh might come back
- As fireworks crackle overhead, Amber and Daniel look like they're having a moment
