Pirate Net Station
Daniel gets a late night phone call from Wolfie and is surprised by what he has to say.

No. 32
Amber is crashed out on the sofa looking tearful, and Lauren wants to know what happened. She explains that she did a meditation, and Lauren points out that meditation should be relaxing, not upsetting. Amber says that shes really happy that she did it and becomes very serene and takes Laurens hands, whilst Lauren looks alarmed. Amber says shes finding a better version of herself then says she needs some sleep, and Lauren becomes concerned.

The Waterhole
The next morning, Brad enters and hands Terese a jar of conserve posted from Darwin that she really likes. Brad suggests they eat it at a picnic in order to talk over their problems. Terese agrees to meet him by the lake at 1pm. Paul sidles over and notices the jar, and sarcastically comments that Brad must be trying very hard.

Lauren expresses her concerns about Amber to Matt, and the look on her face the previous night.

MATT: How can a look be so bad?
LAUREN: Because I know Matt, I've been there myself! (She takes a long pause). Years ago, when I was living here as a teenager, I got involved with this group. Id just broken up with Brad, and I was feeling pretty lost, pretty low.
MATT: Yeah, you said youd fallen in with a bad crowd. You never said why.
LAUREN: Well, it took me a while to realise how bad they were. They made me feel special again. I thought they were so spiritual and wise, I thought they had the answers to everything; their philosophies were good, but the people werent.
Lauren explains that they were a cult called the Children of Barabbas. She says shes afraid that Amber will be sucked in like she was, but Matt reassures her its not the same situation with New Eden, but its still bothering Lauren. She compares how easily Amber gave in to Robbo and Josh, and Matt suggests she talks to Daniel if she is that concerned.

No. 22
In the living room, Doug has a table full of wooden trains and toys that hes sanding down. He explains to Josh and Paige that theyre for the childrens ward of the hospital. Paige asks to be taught how to make them, but Doug shoots her down, thinking shes just humouring him.

DOUG: Look, I do this to keep my mind sharp. Its not some kids art project!

Paige declares that she will teach herself how to make them, and challenges Doug that she can make a better train than his. Doug is won over, and Paige and Josh both laugh at his stubbornness.

Harolds
Daniel tells Amber he couldnt get through to her last night, and explains that he heard from Wolfy. Rain immediately becomes defensive, and lets slip that they have broken up. Amber is surprised, but Rain shuts down the conversation and leaves. Daniel explains to Amber that Wolfy had dumped Rain weeks ago because she cheated on him exactly what she did to Daniel. Amber reckons theres more to it and leaves. Lauren heads over to quiz Daniel, and he explains that he caught Rain lying. She asks him about guided meditations, and Daniel promises to get to the bottom of her concerns. Lauren takes out her phone and searches Charlenes Automotive Brisbane.

The Mens Shed
Doug is teaching Paige and Josh to importance of practice and patience with woodwork. Doug notes that the wooden doll that Paige is painting resembles her mum, and suggests that she paints them all with faces to make a Ramsay Street set. They joke about who they will paint, and Josh says hell let her paint Brennan, which immediately silences Paige.

Harolds
Amber enters with bags of fruit for Rain from the organic market. Lauren tells Amber that she spoke to Charlene and Rain has a history of lying.

LAUREN: Listen, Charlene says shes controlling, manipulative, and messes with peoples heads. Darling, when I was your age I got in with a group of people I thought were fantastic, but they were actually very controlling.

Amber convinces her mum that Rain isn't like that, and insists that she stops projecting her own experience onto Amber. She tells Lauren if she has a problem with Rain, she has a problem with her.

The Rotunda at Lassiters Lake
Brad has pulled out all of the stops with a fancy dinner, flowers and champagne in the rotunda for Terese. They happily reminisce, and toast their glasses. Terese then asks Brad if he ever regrets giving up surfing. He admits that it was good that she pushes him into teaching and away from making a living out of it.

TERESE: Come on, I didnt push you, I just encouraged you. (Brad laughs). What?
BRAD: Its just funny how we have totally different memories of the same thing.
TERESE: Okay then, whats your version of it?
BRAD: Well I remember you were stressed with the twins coming, and you said I needed to get a steady job.

Brad tells Terese that she did all the research into him teaching, but she explains that she was just giving him option. Brad hesitates then agrees with her. Terese picks him up on it, and asks if he really believes that she forced him into teaching, and he says at the time he did.

TERESE: If you resented me then, surely you still resent me now, on a level? Please, be honest. I'm not going to get mad at you.
BRAD: Yeah, I guess I do.
TERESE: Okay, well this is good. Were getting somewhere.
BRAD: For who? Were just looking at problems that we moved on from years ago.
TERESE: Yeah, but thats the point. Maybe we havent moved on from them. Maybe theyre all the things that are playing a part in whats happening to us now.

Brad sits back in silence.

The Mens Shed
Brad stops by and Doug reminds Brad how he used to teach him woodwork. Doug asks Brad why hes there, as blokes always go to their sheds for a reason. Brad explains the situation with Terese, and admits that hes made some big compromises for Terese. Doug tells him that the test of the marriage is whether he can be content with the sacrifices, but Brad tells him theyre all her way.

Tereses room at Lassiters
Brad and Terese enter.

BRAD: Youre right, I have been holding back on things. I'm not content, I bite my tongue, I let you call the shots on everything.
TERESE: This isnt just about your career, is it?
BRAD: No. Honestly, its everything. It's how I handle the kids, its how we spend our time, the decisions we make with our friends.
TERESE: Why didnt you tell me this before?!
BRAD: I have wanted to and I have tried, but you know what, sometimes it is just easier to keep the peace.

Paul walks past in the corridor and eavesdrops the conversation.

TERESE: You make me sound like some kind of shrew. Is that how you really see me?
BRAD: Sometimes yours can be the loudest voice in the room, so I just let it go.
TERESE: Right so rather than telling me how you feel, you just dismiss me because its easier.
BRAD: Thats not what I said.
TERESE: You didnt have to!

Paul knocks, and Brad leaves. Terese says she had no idea thats how Brad felt.

Pirate Net Station
Daniel and Amber are discussing Rain, and she enters having overheard their conversation. They question her about Wolfie, and Rain confesses that they had broken up weeks ago because they had different definitions of the word love. But she admits that she never deliberately set out to deceive them. Amber jumps to her defence and Rain gives them the option to walk away form New Eden. Amber insists they can still make it work, but Daniel looks sceptical.

Tereses room at Lassiters
Terese is laid on the bed and she and Paul share a bottle of wine. Paul asks Terese to be honest with herself about her past. She admits that maybe she did force Brad into being someone he wasnt. Paul insists that Terese and Brad are not equal, and she deserves better. Paul probes her to discuss an affair she had. She insists it wasnt an affair, but it was the same boss who offered to further her career for a relationship, and she says it was completely inappropriate. Terese admits they were very similar, and that she was tempted.

TERESE: I would never cheat on Brad with Ezra.
PAUL: You know whats ironic. Youve never cheated on Brad, with Ezra? But Brad on the other hand
TERESE: Oh come on, he just kissed Lauren.
PAUL: Double standards then!
Terese explains that Brad got just as angry as she did when he found out. She says she has to go to bed.

(Later)

In the corridor, Paul gets out his phone and calls a receptionist to search for an Ezra in the national Lassiters employee database. Paul asks for his details to be sent to him.
