Charlie's
Paul is after Kate's opinions on redecorating/renaming Charlie's and wants them to brainstorm some ideas. He then notices she is a bit distracted and she tells him about the visit from Mark's ex and that she was intense.

Number 24
Mark isn't impressed at Sienna visiting Kate and reminds her that they aren't together. She tells him about the conversation with Kate and thus they can get together again but he doesn't want that and asks her to go home to find someone who can give her what she is after. Sienna refuses to leave, she doesn't do walking away and tries to seduce him until she is forced away and departs with a message - she will wait for him until he's ready.

Number 22 (next day)
Brad/Terese are surprised/concerned that Josh isn't up yet. It's evident too that Brad is still getting the cold shoulder from his wife before she leaves to go to work asking for an update on Josh when he gets up. Imogen has picked up on it and puts it down to him building Josh's hopes up, which he doesn't deny.

Josh appears moments after Brad leaves chat with his sister about his relationship with Amber. Turns out that she is avoiding both the Willis siblings but neither seems to know why, other than it's definitely not related to Josh not going to Glasgow.

Ramsay Street
Amber tries to avoid seeing Josh/Imogen as she leaves for school but is forced to stop and talk to them. Since he's hardly seen her, Josh offers to walk her to school but she turns it down citing needing to get to school for some tutoring. He heads off alone and Imogen quizzes her on what's up commenting that both of them are starting to get paranoid. Amber tries to reassure her that it isn't them, it's her... she's freaking out about Year 12 but you can tell Imogen doesn't exactly believe her however offers to help her.

Lassiters Complex
Paul spells it out plainly to Mark that Kate doesn't want to see him after he asks him about Kate when spotting him in the complex. He adds that if Mark cares about her then he'd pack up and leave town! "It's not gonna happen," Mark firmly replies back but Paul hammers home the message until it looks he does accept it.

Charlie's
Mark runs into Sienna when he comes into the bar for a coffee - he apologises for stringing her along but adds that he can't help feel what he does about Kate. She tries to tell him that Kate won't get back with him, he's missed the boat but all it does is make him say the same thing back to her.

Observing the conversation was Paul, who came in moments after Mark, and hands the upset Sienna a tissue and tries to convince her not to give up on Mark!

PAUL: Re-group, keep fighting for him. Win him back, whatever it takes.
SIENNA: Why are you being so nice to me?
PAUL: Mmm, I've ruined enough relationships in my time but nice to see someone get it right.

Lassiters grounds
Kate confirms for what feels like the umpteenth time to Chris that Sienna can have Mark although she does admit that it would kill her if that were to happen! "Well do something about it," is Chris' message but Kate doesn't want to be bitten again (after what happened with Kyle). Unsure whether he's doing the right thing or not, Chris tells her that Kyle wanted to break it off with her before news broke that Georgia was pregnant because deep down it was her he wanted to be with not Kate, just like she should be with Mark because the same pull is there.

CHRIS: He came back for you twice, isn't that telling you something?
KATE: Look, ever since the first time Mark went away, everything in my life has gone wrong - Mason, Kyle, it's a disaster!
CHRIS: Maybe you're looking at it wrong? What if the universe was trying to tell you something? Maybe everything's gone wrong since Brennan left because you and Brennan are meant to be together.

School playground
Amber isn't impressed that Bailey has told Callum about the secret and she swears him not to tell anyone, which he agrees to. Imogen comes over to invite Amber to coffee at Harold's during their free period but is forced to lie (and rope Bailey in too) to get out of going. Cal decides he suddenly needs to leave too, which only leaves Imogen feeling very suspicious!

Number 22
Josh is back from the gym and has a sort of clear the air meeting with his dad, who also reassures him that things will get better and is surprised to hear his son say that he thinks Amber might want to break up with him. Brad tries to reassure him that it's nothing to do with the swimming but Josh can't but think it does.

Lassiters Complex
Paul remarks that Kate is looking happier when he spots her walking through the complex and is surprised to hear the reason why (after her chat with Chris her problems aren't anything to do with her fertility) but hopes that it doesn't lead straight into her walking back into Mark's arms! He comes up with a list of things to try and convince her not to do that but she asks what if they are meant to be together?

PAUL: He's never made you happy for more than a few days and he's never put you first, not once. Now I'm sorry but it's true. You may not be able to see that but I can.

Just after Paul walks away, Mark calls and she cancels it.

Ramsay Street
To keep up the pretence, Amber and Bailey are heading home to video call Mason (the lie they told Imogen) when Brad spots them. She sends Bailey inside to set the call up so she can speak privately to Brad. He asks if things are okay with her/Josh (yes apart from the secret) and asks if the secret is why she's not been coming round much (it is) so Brad tells her that Josh thinks she's avoiding the place because he's not swimming any more. Amber is surprised somewhat at Josh's thinking but doesn't go along with Brad wanting her to reassure him, instead telling him that the only way of fixing things is for him to tell Josh/Imogen the secret.

BRAD: It is not that simple.
AMBER: Yes and neither is expecting my brother and I to lie to them. That's not fair.

School
Callum runs into Imogen at the school and immediately does a bolt from her! Imogen runs after him wanting to know what is going on.

Lassiters hotel foyer
Walking back into the hotel, Brad tells his wife that he plans on telling the kids tonight. She would rather they waited but Brad says no, they don't really have any other choice and the longer they wait to tell them, the bigger the chances of them finding out from someone else. "We certainly can't let that happen," Terese concedes and agrees to now tell the kids.

Garage
Returning with drinks, Chris finds a very frustrated Mark (Paul's words have got to him) and wonders if he should let it go? Chris replies he isn't going to make a decision like that for him! "You've got an opinion don't you?" Mark asks and Chris replies that there is obviously something there that keeps bringing them back together.

MARK: Well Paul would say it's not enough to just sticking round and keep making Kate unhappy.
CHRIS: When you packed up and left the Blue Mountains, you could have gone anywhere but you came to the National Park just a short drive from Erinsborough. Why did you think you did that?
MARK: I don't know... because I'm a selfish idiot?
CHRIS: Because you want to be with her! And she still feels something otherwise she wouldn't be upset in the first place.
MARK: I don't want to be the guy who makes her cry all the time.
CHRIS: Well then don't be.
MARK: That's it?! That's all you're going to say?
CHRIS: It's your decision, you're the one that can't forget about her and its obvious she feels the same way about you.

Lassiters Lake
Music montage time as 'Sleeping Lion' begins with Kate walking along the bridge looking at the lovers padlocks while thinking back to her relationships with Mark, Mason and Kyle.

School playground
Cal is still avoiding Imogen but eventually runs into her and she demands to be told (Bailey is now with him too) otherwise she promises to, "make both your lives a living hell in more than a 100 different ways!"

CALLUM: This has nothing to do with me okay; I'm just an innocent bystander.
IMOGEN (to Bailey): Fine, you tell me.

Bailey stalls telling and Imogen declares that she's had enough!

IMOGEN: You're being weird, Amber's being weird, our parents are freaking out about something, just speak!
BAILEY: Alright! I always thought you should know.
IMOGEN: Spit it out already!
BAILEY: Okay, ages ago your dad hooked up with my mum.
IMOGEN: Yes, I already know that.
BAILEY: Yes but what you don't know is that they had a baby together.

From the look on Imogen's face, that is the last thing she expected Bailey to tell her!

Number 24
Kate calls round and Mark lets her into the house. She asks that he stops calling her so many times because he is turning into a stalker! "You could always call me back," he jokes back and her comeback is he could learn some patience!

KATE: I've been doing a lot of thinking about us, about how you lied to me, you were dead and you didn't tell me about Sienna.
MARK: Don't suppose there is any good stuff in there?
KATE: Ever since you left, I've made a ton of mistakes. I think the reason I've been pushing you away is because I don't feel like I deserve to be in another relationship. I have um, I've come to realise that maybe the reason I've stuffed up so many times and why every other relationship has felt wrong, it is because I haven't been in one with the right person. It's like I've just been trying to replace something that was missing. It's you.
(Both have big smiles on their faces and cue happy instrumental music)
KATE: I love you. I love you more than anything in this world and I think I just have to stop over thinking all of this and do what my heart is telling me to do.
MARK: What's that?
KATE: This!

Kate then walks forward and kisses him, a kiss that is more than reciprocated.

MARK: For the record, good decision!

The pair then begin some serious pashing!
