- But Kate's already in the house, and it would appear she's not alone...
Kate shouts out to the mystery intruder that she's calling the police, then advances on the bedrooms with a cricket bat. A woman leaps out of one of the doors - and viewers of the Brennan on the Run webisodes will know that she is Sienna, Brennan's girlfriend while he was in witness protection. Sienna introduces herself, claiming she's here to see Brennan; and Kate introduces herself as Brennan's friend. At which point Brennan bursts in, and Sienna leaps at him and kisses him on the lips. Brennan seems surprised and perplexed, and a flummoxed Kate leaves them to it.
Sonya is on the phone to Toadie's ex-boss Charlotte when Toadie comes in with Nell; evidently Charlotte has rung for Toadie and has spilled the beans about the Chile job, which Toadie hadn't told Sonya about. Once the call ends, Toadie tries to explain that he didn't tell Sonya about it as he wasn't going to go - but Sonya reveals that Charlotte is doubling the money she's offering, and will fly an assistant to Chile too.
However, Toadie insists it's not the right time; he wants to spend more time with the family. He also points out he is representing Patricia Pappas in court next week, but admits that Charlotte has offered to replace him on Patricia's case with a top-notch barrister. At which point Sonya tells Toadie she thinks he should go to Chile, as she would be a hypocrite to make him stay for family time when she's been so busy with other commitments herself. Toadie seems pleased and calls Charlotte back to tell her the good news - but Sonya is already looking less enthusiastic.
Sienna probes Brennan for information about Danni, and how well he and she get on as housemates. But he's still confused as to what Sienna's doing in Erinsborough, and why she broke into his house. Sienna giggles, and doesn't seem at all contrite about having scared everyone half to death.
SIENNA: I just wanted to surprise you!
BRENNAN: Well you did!
She continues to put her hands all over him and seems confused as to why he doesn't seem pleased to see her. She asks if she can stay with him for a while, as she hasn't organised a hotel - but Brennan puts his foot down, and shows her the door, saying they can maybe catch up later.
The Farm Day fundraiser continues, as Sheila shows off a pair of melons to Sonya, and things between Georgia and Kate still seem tense as they exchange awkward smiles.
Kate tells Sheila about her encounter with Sienna; she's surmised that Brennan must have invited Sienna to stay, and that they'll probably get back together.
SHEILA: Oh, I get it. So it's a case of 'if I can't have him, no-one else can'.
Sheila decides that Kate obviously still has feelings for Brennan, but Kate denies it, saying it's fine if Brennan and Sienna want to work things out. Kate leaves the jumper she picked up for Danni with Sheila, and rushes off to get a coffee.
Meanwhile, Chris and Callum are cooking sausages, and an unusually empathetic Callum asks what's troubling Chris. He explains that Patricia promised she'd come along to the fundraiser, but hasn't shown up yet. Cal reassures him that she's probably just running late.
Brennan turns up and talks to Kate; he tells her he had nothing to do with Sienna turning up, and that there is nothing between them anymore. Kate says it's nothing to do with her, but adds that Sienna obviously has feelings for Brennan. He insists they're one-sided, and Kate tells him to talk to Sienna about it, rather than her.
Kyle tells Georgia he's disappointed that he only got a pink sash for winning the tug-of-war, so she hands him an extra prize - a jar of Sheila's homemade pickles! Kyle pushes his luck, claiming the winner should receive a kiss on the cheek. Georgia is coy at first but eventually goes along with it and kisses him, only for Callum to suddenly interrupt, asking him to look after the barbecue.
Chris and Cal head towards Harold's to get some more sausages, when Toadie turns up looking for Patricia. He explains to Chris that he won't be representing Patricia next week as he's off to Chile, but reassures him that she'll be in safe hands with the replacement barrister. Now even more anxious to see his mum, Chris wonders why she hasn't called. Cal tells him not to worry - her being late does not mean she's relapsed.
Chris flatters Callum's ego by telling him how well he coped with all his own mum's addiction issues.
CALLUM: Yes, I am a pretty amazing individual.
But Cal goes on to say that he was too young to really know what was going on with Sonya. While she's okay now, Cal says he never stops worrying that she might relapse. He explains to Chris that he went to a 'kids of addicts' support group for a while to help him cope. He sometimes still goes, and invites Chris to come along with him if he wants. Chris says it's not really his thing, but Cal says it can help to talk to other people in the same boat. Chris examines the leaflet Sonya gave him.
Sonya is judging the zucchini contest at the Farm Day, and awards Sheila's vegetable with first prize, beating an absent Karl's own effort.
SHEILA: Take that, Karl Kennedy!
Meanwhile, Kate is serving on the lemonade stand when Sienna turns up. She apologises for giving Kate a scare in No 24, claiming she just wanted to surprise Brennan as she thought it would be romantic.
KATE: Yeah, well. Not if the police showed up. (!)
Sienna smiles sheepishly, and goes off to check out the rest of the stalls. Sheila comes over.
KATE: That was Sienna!
SHEILA: The good-looking, overachieving ex-girlfriend?
KATE: Wanna know something worse?
KATE: She's really nice!
SHEILA: Oh, don't you hate that?
As Kate watches jealously, Sienna goes to talk to Brennan (who's with Kyle) but he tells her they're busy at the moment. She tells him to text her when she's ready to hang out - and once she's gone, Brennan explains to Kyle who she is. He admits he's not sure why she's in town, as she knows it's over between them.
BRENNAN: I mean, she's a great girl, and I'll always care about her...
KYLE: But she's not Kate.
BRENNAN: Exactly. I just want to know what she's doing here. What she's thinking.
Kyle tells Brennan to go and talk to Sienna and find out. Kate continues to look jealous.
Brennan and Sienna chat.
BRENNAN: Sienna, it's great to see you, it really is...
SIENNA: I know! I've been missing you so much!
She continues to be all touchy-feely with him, much to Brennan's discomfort. He tells her there's no point in leading her on - this will never be anything more than a platonic catch-up. He adds that when they broke up, he was honest with her; it was because he still had feelings for someone else. Those feelings haven't changed, he says, and aren't going to. A tearful Sienna tells Brennan she still loves him and wants him back, but that he should at least give her closure by telling her who the other woman is. Brennan refuses to tell her Kate's name, and a heartbroken Sienna gets up and leaves - saying she gets the message loud and clear.
Callum has successfully dragged Chris along to the 'kids of addicts' meeting, and kicks things off by telling everyone how proud he is of Sonya for keeping clean. He tells Chris he doesn't have to speak, but Chris opts to anyway.. He admits he wants to trust his mum when she says she's not gambling, but says it's hard to know for sure. Chris also admits he's planning to tell his dad so that he can help Patricia, even though she doesn't want him to - but Chris is worried she might hate him for doing it.
The Rebecchis are packing up Toadie's suitcase in preparation for his trip to Chile. Cal goes into the kitchen and Sonya follows; she asks how the meeting went with Chris. Cal says Chris talked to the group and said that it helped. Sonya suddenly hugs Callum.
CALLUM: Mum, that wasn't an invitation to start hugging me!
SONYA: That's too bad, because I'm just so proud of you, and you just - you need to know that.
Sonya starts apologising for everything she did to Callum when he was young; he's so amazing, she says, and has to take most of the credit for that himself.
CALLUM: It's just like I said to Chris today. I am a pretty amazing individual.
TOADIE: Amazing enough to take my bag out to the taxi?
CALLUM: Alright fine. But you'd better get me something better than a poncho this time, though.
Toadie hugs Sonya and tells her he'll miss her, but she seems upset - and admits she's not as comfortable with him going as she said she was, as they haven't spent a lot of time together lately. She accepts the blame for that, but says she's worried about their relationship, particularly after the whole Jacob situation. Toadie agrees, but says it's too late for Sonya to change her mind about him going to Chile now. She insists she's not, and they kiss half-heartedly; she says they can talk about it when he gets back. Toadie leaves her looking worried.
Sienna watches miserably from a corner as Kate and Brennan flirt over a box of glassware.
BRENNAN: You can't alphabetise glassware.
KATE: Yeah, well I know you, and I think you could probably find a way.
Georgia comes in and makes a speech to all the volunteers, thanking them for their hard work at the Farm Day and saying they've earned a lot of money for the Women's Shelter. Afterwards, Kyle talks to her.
KYLE: Also, the dudes who went shirtless in the tug-of-war should have got a mention. I hear it was a crowd favourite.
GEORGIA: Really? Did you go shirtless? I just didn't even notice. (!)
She thanks Kyle for his help, and grudgingly agrees when he says it felt like 'old times' - she even admits that she might have been checking him out a bit during the tug-of-war. But when Kyle invites her round for dinner tonight, Georgia says it's not such a good idea.
GEORGIA: I had a lot of fun with you today... And it just proves that it is possible. We can be friends, and we can still move on with our lives at the same time.
She wanders off, and Kyle looks disappointed.
In the back garden, Kyle, Chris and Brennan are having some boy-time, dangling their legs in the hot-tub. Kyle and Chris expressed their surprise that Sienna came all the way to Erinsborough without any notice. Brennan observes that it's 'textbook Sienna' - when she sets her mind on something she really goes for it.
CHRIS: Sounds pretty intense.
BRENNAN: You have no idea!
CHRIS: Well, don't stress. You don't have to worry until she starts cooking your pets.
Kyle is suitably offended on Bossy's behalf! But Brennan tells the others he made it perfectly clear to Sienna that it's over between them...
Kate thinks she is buzzing Paul back into the flat, but in fact is surprised to find Sienna in the lift. She leaps out and starts wandering around the apartment, laughing like a lunatic at how amazing it is, much to Kate's bemusement. .
KATE: How do you know where I live?
Sienna admits she saw Kate come back here after Farm Day, and wanted to have a chat.
KATE: So what do you want to talk about?
SIENNA: Do you still love him?
KATE: Beg your pardon?
SIENNA: Because I do. I love him more than I've ever loved anyone in my life.
KATE: Okay. But I think this is something you need to tell Mark, not me.
SIENNA: We were together for two years, you know. Two pretty great years. But there was always something not quite right. And it turns out that something was you. And I had no idea until he got out of witness protection, and the first thing he wanted to do was find you.
KATE: Look, I'm sorry; that must have been really hard, but Mark and I haven't been together for a very long time.
SIENNA: You haven't answered my question. Do you still love him?
KATE: I - I've told him we can only be friends.
SIENNA: So you won't get in the way if we get back together?
KATE: He's all yours!
SIENNA: Then you need to tell him that. You need to let him go, so we can be together again.
KATE: Sienna, I've already told him that!
SIENNA: Then tell him again! You have to make him believe it. You're the only thing standing in the way.
Sienna wanders over to the balcony and starts laughing a little crazily again.
SIENNA: Woah! It's a long way down, isn't it? You're obviously not afraid of heights...
Kate looks more than a little disturbed...
