Number 26
Georgia storms into the kitchen, telling Kyle he had no right to speak for her. She thinks he's scared about her career taking off. He insists he was just trying to help. Georgia apologises, she didn't mean to take it out on him, she's just angry at herself for signing the contract. She's annoyed that Paul's taken her song away from her as she put so much work into that song.

Lucas and Vanessa's Flat
Lucas and Vanessa look at the flat they viewed in Daylesford while they were on their honeymoon, trying to convince themselves that it is a silly idea to go for it. They realise that if they sell the garage and the apartment then they could afford it, and there are tons of bakeries and cafes there, and everyone needs a mechanic. They decide to go for it. Right now! Vanessa says it is insane (which it is), but they decide to call them right away.

Number 30/Harold's
At number 30, Lucas tells Toadie, meanwhile Vanessa tells Sonya at Harold's. They say the house is perfect for them, they've had no time to think about it which is what makes it so exciting. Lucas says it felt like home. Sonya says she supports Vanessa if she's sure about it, and promises to visit. Toadie congratulates Lucas and decides to throw him a leaving party.

Charlie's
Kyle is angry at Paul for giving Georgia's song away. Paul says that he was doing what Kyle wanted.

KYLE: No it wasn't.
PAUL: Oh please, you were worried that she wouldn't have enough time for you because you needed a cuddle, yada yada yada yada, you know what. I did you a favour! You should be thanking me.

Kyle says he had no right giving Georgia's song away.

PAUL: Look I am doing what is best for both of us. This way I get to make a lot of money out of a surprisingly good song and you get to spend more time with your girlfriend, looking up discount air fares, or joining moronic facebook groups so stop complaining.
KYLE: You're a real piece of work, you know that.
PAUL: I take that as a compliment, thank you very much.

Kyle storms off. As Lucas walks past, Paul offers his congratulations, he's just heard the news from Toadie.

PAUL: I know we've had our fair share of run- ins but I'd sincerely like to wish you well. You've come a long way and you've fought for your family which I for one respect. You've got a good heart Lucas Fitzgerald.
LUCAS: Is this really happening? Paul Robinson giving me a compliment?
PAUL: Well you do have to leave town to get one.

They shake hands and Paul wishes him good luck.

Number 26
Sheila asks Chris what he's doing home, as he grabs a spare tool for work. Chris tries Hudson's phone but it's still turned off. He says Hudson and his family aren't answering his calls, he has no idea what is going on, and doesn't even know if Hudson made bail or not. He wonders if he meant that little to Hudson that he'd shut him out like this. Sheila suggests Chris take the day off work, he shouldn't go into work in this state, but Chris says there's no one else to do it and leaves.

Number 30
Sheila comes in while Toadie unpacks snacks for the party. He tells Sheila that Lucas and Vanessa are leaving town, she's shocked to hear that. She says this is all Chris needs. She wonders how Chris can find out whether Hudson's been locked away or not. Toadie says it will be public records, and he'll have a look into it for him. Sheila tells him to do whatever she can to help Chris, as Lucas leaving will hit him hard and he needs something to hang on to.

Fitzgerald Motors
Chris scrolls through his phone contacts, thinking about calling Hudson, when a customer, Danni, comes by. She wants to speak to someone about her car. Chris says he's busy and she should wait, and is short with her when she asks if there's someone else to speak to. He takes his laptop to diagnose the problem with the car. He tells her it's a problem with the air flow sensor, and asks her to leave it with him. She asks again if he can fix it, and he snaps at her, telling her if she's in a hurry she should go somewhere else. She decides to do that. Chris apologises, but she drives off.

Chris looks at his wallpaper on his phone, a picture of him and Hudson together.

Harold's
Chris is gutted by the news that Lucas is leaving. Lucas says they don't have to go today, but they want to. He'll only be an hour away, he says Chris can call any time and he should make sure he visits. Lucas knows Chris is going through a lot at the moment and he's sorry he won't be there for him. Chris says its fine as Lucas has been there for him heaps.

Lucas says that he's said that his job is safe. The new owners will keep Chris on until he finishes his apprenticeship. Lucas invites Chris to a leaving party at Toadie's, suggesting Chris close up early so he can head down there. Chris nods and says bye to Lucas as he has to go back to work.

CHRIS: Lucas. I just wanted to say, you've put a lot of faith in me over the years, and it means a lot.

Number 30
Vanessa thanks Toadie and Sonya for going to all this trouble. Lucas arrives and hugs Sonya.

LUCAS: Do you hate me for leaving?
SONYA: Yes! No, not really. I'm just so sad that you're going to be so far away. But I am, I'm so happy for you. You've come so far.
LUCAS: It's all because of you. If I didn't have you looking out for me all these years, telling me I'm an idiot, I'd hate to think where I would be.
SONYA: Well you can always call me if you need someone to tell you that you're being an idiot.

Toadie says that Callum sends his love, he's on a school excursion and won't make it back in time. Lucas says he got a call from the agent, the contract is ready to be signed, which means it is official, the house is theirs!

TOADIE: Well this calls for a toast.
VANESSA: Actually can I say something first. Honestly, you guys are just the most amazing people. I don't know where we'd be without your friendship. Thank you so much.
SONYA: That's what friends are for.
TOADIE: Let's not start singing! Alright, my turn...
SONYA: Can I just say something please? Lucas, you're not just my best friend, you're my family. We love you so much and we're going to miss you so much. (Sonya starts crying, then nudges Toadie) Go, go, go, say something!
TOADIE: Um... Cupcakes? (Vanessa bursts out laughing)
LUCAS: Cheers to that.
TOADIE: To Vanessa and Lucas
SONYA: To Patrick and Paddy
TOADIE: Yeah, and Little Toadie. What, it's a good name, and you can have it.
SONYA: To a new start.

(Later)
Susan, Karl and Kyle are helping themselves to the food at the party. Susan moves over to join Lucas and Lou, telling Lucas that Libby and Ben send their love. Lou asks if Lucas has somewhere to live just now. Lucas says he's going to stay in a B n B, then organise a rental until the owners move out.

Chris comes in, Toadie takes him aside and tells him that Hudson has been granted bail straight after the hearing, and he's gone up to Sydney to spend time with his family. Chris wonders why Hudson won't speak to him. Lucas comes over to Chris, pleased that he could make it, but Chris walks out.

Number 26
Chris tries calling Hudson again, throwing his phone away when he gets no answer. He sits down beside Sheila. Sheila suggests that Chris book a flight to Sydney, he can fly over tonight. Chris doesn't want to be rejected by Hudson in person. Sheila says that Hudson is going through a tough time too. Chris says he wants to be there for Hudson, he loves him. He thought he would be the guy that he would settle down with. Chris blames himself, if he had let Hudson come home with him that night then none of this would have happened. Sheila tells Chris that he is not to blame for this. Hudson has to take responsibility for what he did. Chris says all Hudson has to look forward to is years in jail, and that's all because of him.

Charlie's
Paul introduces Georgia to Amali Ward who will be performing Georgia's song tonight. Amali says if she'd written the song then she'd have performed it herself, she guesses she's lucky that Georgia's not a performer. Paul whisks Amali away, as Kyle joins Georgia, inviting her back to Toadie's to say goodbye to Lucas and Vanessa. Georgia points out the singer that Paul's hired to sing her song. Kyle says she's hot, but not as hot as Georgia. Georgia tells Kyle he should go to Lucas's farewell. She insists she'll be fine, she's very lucky that Amali is going to sing her song. Kyle kisses her goodbye.

Number 30
Sonya and Toadie show a page in Harold's book of Ramsay Street, under the heading 'The Fitzgeralds.' There are pictures of Lucas, Vanessa and Patrick as a family, and of Patrick as a newborn baby. Sonya says they can't leave Ramsay Street without a mention in the book, and Toadie says Harold would approve as he loves a happy ending.

Susan and Karl tell Lucas and Vanessa the car is packed. They start to head off. Lucas asks Toadie and Sonya about Chris, Toadie promises to keep an eye on him. Sonya asks for one last hug, so Toadie, Sonya and Lucas group hug again.

Ramsay Street
Lou asks Lucas to keep in touch. Lucas sees Chris approaching, and rushes over. He hates leaving Chris now, but Chris says it is alright.

LUCAS: Any guy would be lucky to have you, and if Hudson can't see that then it's his loss. If you are meant to be together then it'll work out, just like Vanessa and I.

Chris and Lucas hug. As Lucas rejoins Vanessa, Lou encourages Lucas to make a speech.

LUCAS: When I first got to Erinsborough, I was kinda lost. Then I found Ramsay Street, I found friends, I found the love of my life, and I don't know what else to say.
VANESSA: You guys have always been there for us when we really needed it. We will never forget this street. You are just the most amazing people!
LUCAS: How was that?
TOADIE: You're lucky that you got her, as you'd be lost without her!
LUCAS: Tell me something I don't know.

Lucas and Vanessa hug everyone goodbye before getting into the car, waving goodbye and honking the car horn as they leave. Kyle comes over and gives Chris a reassuring tap on the shoulder.

Charlie's
Amali Ward is singing Georgia's song to a crowd, while Georgia and Kyle watch. Georgia looks upset. Paul says to Georgia that Amali is fantastic, she's really taken ownership of the song. Kyle stands up, about to punch Paul, when Georgia motions for him to sit down. They sit and watch, Georgia in tears. She stands up and leaves, saying she can't do this. Paul grins.

Fitzgerald Motors
Chris comes back to the garage, bumping into Danni again, assuming she needs her car fixed. She says she fixed the car herself, and is here wondering why the garage is closed. She's the new manager, working for the guy that Lucas sold the garage to. She's his new boss.

Tomorrow On Neighbours
- Kyle tells Mason that Kate has been thinking about him, a lot.
- Imogen wants her car destroyed
- Kyle tells Danni that Chris just got dumped by his boyfriend
- Danni tells Chris off when he pours coolant into the engine of a car.
- Karl suggests Chris sees a counsellor

- Kyle comes home to find the house a tip.
