- Lou's date calls him a pervert and throws her drink at him.
- Lou accuses Sheila of sabotaging the date because she wants him for herself.
- Callum asks Toadie if he ran over Robbo, but Toadie doesn't know if he did or not.
- Lucas asks Karl if Robbo is going to make it.
- Lucas suggests to Vanessa that they sell up and move to the country.
- Kyle spots Lucas outside the radio station and asks him about it, because he knows Robbo was running card games there.
Lucas thanks Kyle for not telling Vanessa. He then mutters almost incomprehensibly about searching the radio station for anything they could identify him with. (Seriously, took me 10 rewatches to decipher what he says, and even then I only got the gist.)
Kyle says Lucas should be worried – the cops are looking for anyone with a motive for hurting Robbo, such as owing money. Lucas says he didn't run Robbo down. He can't tell the cops, if Vanessa found out he gambled again it would break her heart. He asks Kyle not to tell her, and Kyle agrees. He informs Lucas that Toadie is the main suspect at the moment, so if Lucas knows anything that can clear Toadie's name then he should tell the police.
Toadie is on the phone to a client, when Sonya arrives with Nell. Toadie says that he's thinking of referring his client to a different lawyer, one who's not the subject of an investigation. Sonya tells Toadie to fight.
SONYA: If you're going to go down, then you need to go down fighting. And that's metaphorically of course, because you know I don't approve of boxing.
TOADIE: It's not that easy.
SONYA: Yeah I know, I know, but as your legal advisor, I advise that if you're going to give up, exhaust every avenue.
TOADIE: My legal advisor?
SONYA: Well I'm married to you, aren't I?
TOADIE: I didn't think you were paying attention when I was talking about work.
SONYA: I don't. I watch legal dramas.
Sonya says that Robbo will wake up and identify who hit him and then this will all be over. Toadie says it's difficult to fight when he can't remember what happened that night. Sonya decides to fix it and asks Toadie to come with her.
Sonya takes Toadie to the place where he woke up in Imogen's car. Sonya suggests he has a look around to see if it triggers his memory. He has a brief flashback to being behind the wheel of the car, but everything is blurry. Toadie says he remembers leaving the house, and a vague memory of finding Robbo, but he doesn't remember where that was or what happened after.
Toadie remembers Robbo talking to him – telling Toadie he must have drank something which didn't agree with him. Toadie says if Robbo spiked his drink then his memories may never return. He says it must be a good thing that he doesn't remember, if he did try to hurt Robbo, then what does say about him?
Kyle asks Georgia how long it'll be before Robbo wakes up. Georgia says Robbo is being taken off life support today. He wouldn't be able to talk right away, but there's no permanent brain damage so he should be able to identify the driver or at least give a description. (How's that doctor- patient confidentiality working out for you Georgia?) He and Georgia don't believe Toadie could have done it. Georgia says that Robbo had heaps of enemies and it could be any one of them.
Georgia then starts talking about Vanessa, and how she's in a vulnerable state right now so she shouldn't be getting any stress, it's really important for her health and the babies (you just can't stop, can you Georgia? Whose private medical information do you want to tell your boyfriend about next?) Georgia says that Lucas has a lot of stress at the moment, if they don't find a buyer for their house.
Here's an unexpected blast from the past, Jack Lassiter walks into the bar. Sheila asks if she can help him.
JACK: I'm just taking a moment. It's been a long time since I've seen the old girl.
SHEILA: I hope you're not talking about me?
He says things have changed. It must have been 25 years since he was last here. Even the name of the place is changed, it used to be called The Waterhole, Sheila can see why they changed it. Sheila offers Jack a drink on the house.
Lou is on the phone to Elsie. He says that Sheila must have gotten the wrong end of the stick, in fact she's probably delusional. He asks her for another date but Elsie hangs up on her. Bailey says Elsie's probably just playing hard to get and he should call her back. Lauren says Bailey shouldn't give dating advice, at least until he's started dating. Lauren defends Sheila, it was probably just a misunderstanding. Lou wonders why Sheila's behaving like a jealous woman, he has a reputation to uphold.
As Lou leaves, Lauren talks to Bailey about why he didn't set Lou straight. He shouldn't be giving Lou an imaginary girlfriend who lives on the same street. Bailey says he talked to Lou about it and they agreed to let the matter drop. They hear the door closing, and guess that Lou has gone to Charlie's to have another go at Sheila. Bailey rushes after him.
Sonya and Lucas sit down with a cuppa. Sonya tells Lucas that Toadie woke up in Imogen's car, and Imogen said her keys were stolen from the exhibition. Sonya says that Toadie's not a pickpocket and nothing adds up. Toadie told Imogen where her car was, but when she got there the car was gone. They wonder if someone is trying to hide it.
Sonya fills Lucas in on Toadie's meeting with Robbo before the accident. She's worried because Callum's struggling with what's going on, and if enough mud sticks then Toadie could lose his practice. Sonya admits she's scared about how this will end up. Lucas says the person responsible will be found.
Bailey rushes in, almost knocking Sheila over in the process. Bailey warns Sheila that Lou will walk in through the door any minute. He admits that Lou still thinks that she's the one who posted those comments on his blog, and that he thinks she wants him all to herself.
BAILEY: Is there any chance we can get him to keep thinking that?
SHEILA: Two. Buckers and none!
Bailey says that Lou isn't as confident with woman as he makes out. This will help him keep on the dating horse.
SHEILA: Why would I encourage Lou Carpenter to have his way with all the unsuspecting female population of Erinsborough? No one deserves that.
Bailey begs him to stick to the story, he'd do anything she wanted. Lou marches in asking for a word with Sheila, surprised to see Bailey there. Bailey makes an excuse and rushes off, hiding behind the bar. Lou wants an apology from Sheila, and a promise to cease spreading rumours about him. Sheila apologises for causing him distress.
SHEILA: What can I say, to be honest, maybe I was a little bit jealous. I mean the thought of your hands on someone else.
LOU: Well we don't have to go that far.
SHEILA: I am a sucker for your charms, just like the next woman. Not to mention your gorgeous grey hair, your shiny cheeks, your masculine figure. I have to wake up from the dream and face reality... unlike some! (she says pointedly towards Bailey, who again hides behind the bar)
Sheila hopes that Lou can forgive him. He thanks her and is glad she cleared that up. Lou leaves. Bailey comes out from hiding, pleased that it went well. Sheila asks Bailey about that promise that he'd do anything she wanted. Bailey looks nervous.
Jack walks in with his bag and comes to reception, meeting Terese, asking for a room, although it has to be room 331B. She says it's unavailable but there are other rooms. Jacks asks what she can do to make it available? He says many years ago he spent time in that room with someone he cared for. She can't make promises but she'll see what she can do.
Toadie looks on at Robbo while he sleeps. Georgia asks what he's doing here. He's hoping that seeing Robbo would jog his memory. Robbo starts waking up, and tries to pull the tube out. Georgia stops him. Robbo looks over towards Toadie and looks shocked.
Toadie has another flashback. Toadie sees the bruise on Robbo's face, and asks what happened. A wannabe swimmer tried to fight back. He remembers arguing with Robbo, telling him he can't keep hurting Sonya, he can't keep hurting people. After the flashback, Toadie leaves.
Lucas is on the phone, asking a mate if he's found out anything about that guy that wanted in on Robbo's game. When he ends the call, Kyle walks in. He had a chat with Vanessa, but she's worried about Lucas. Kyle says that Lucas is lying to her. Lucas points out that Kyle's kept things from Georgia too! Vanessa needs Lucas to be strong for her, so he can't tell her.
Lucas assures Kyle that Toadie is not responsible for Robbo's accident. He thinks someone from the card game could have gone after him. He says he's making enquiries, but if he goes to the cops then Vanessa will know about the gambling. Lucas says if the cops don't clear Toadie, then he'll speak up.
Terese tells a colleague that she's given the guests in 331B an upgrade to make up for the room change. She goes over to Jack and tells him it's done. He thanks her, and hopes the manager knows what he's got. Terese says she is the manager, and one of the perks is being able to pull a few strings. She and Jack start chatting, Jack is staying for three weeks. He only has one bag as he always travels light, something his second wife Andrea used to give him a hard time about, until she realised he wasn't going to change. Jack offers to pay for the room up front. He gives Terese his card, and she realises who he is. She gives him his key. As Jack leaves, Terese turns to her colleague, telling her that Jack was the man who kick- started this empire. She wonders what he's doing back here.
Number 26 (Back Yard)
Sheila hands Bailey a trowel and tells him he can start with the flower bed.
BAILEY: And do what?
SHEILA: A trowel, weeds, use your imagination.
Sheila says Bailey has agreed to help with the household chores for the next month. Then maybe he'll think twice next time about impersonating someone online. She asks Bailey to put the spa on for her. As he starts to fill the spa, she takes off her robe, showing off her bathing suit, pleased that he'll be doing the weeds while she's having a long warm soak. Bailey looks up at her and looks shocked!
Toadie comes back, telling Sonya that he was at the hospital. He tells her Robbo is awake, he's not able to say anything yet, but he saw the look that he gave him, the contempt in his eyes. Toadie says he remembers fighting with Robbo, and they have to face it. He ran Robbo down and drove off.
Georgia tells Robbo that he's doing very well, and they've rang Robbo's mum and she's on her way. Robbo tries to talk... saying ‘Mason, Mason did...'
Robbo's heart stops, he flatlines. Georgia performs CPR.
