Charlie's
Vanessa and Lucas enter, Lucas still getting his head around Vanessa's news that she's having a baby. Vanessa says she hasn't had it checked by a doctor, but she's as sure as she can be.

LUCAS: Well I should have seen the signs I guess. You've been so grumpy and moody lately... I mean, tired and cute.

Lucas says this is a blessing, an expensive tiring blessing. Vanessa says they're not under financial pressure. Vanessa is concerned that Paul's offer on the house was low, but Lucas says they can negotiate with him. They get excited about the baby and hug.

Lassiters Complex
Karl sits down with Georgia, who is planning the next hospital fundraiser which has a 'Father's Day' theme. Karl shows Georgia the song list for their next performance - featuring his well loved classics 'Come On People,' 'Free As A River,' 'Oh Baby,' 'Letting You Know' (Georgia's new song, in 4th place to ease her into it), 'Let's Get Happy', 'My High Flying Bird', 'Invisible Girl' and presumably more.

Georgia thinks they should do a cover instead of her new song. She's not sure if it fits with the rest of the set. Karl says it's fine to be nervous about debuting her new song, and suggests they practice before the show and if it sounds terrible he'll tell her.

GEORGIA: Okay, but only if you promise to be honest, cos I'd much rather hear it from you than a severely unhappy audience.
KARL: I'll be brutal, scathing even.

Number 26
Georgia tells Kate about her concerns about debuting her song tonight.

GEORGIA: I still have this feeling that I'm going to get laughed off stage. I'm going to get slammed on twitter. #GeorgiaCantWriteHerWayOutOfAPaperBag.

Kate tells her performance anxiety is totally normal, and Karl's heard her song and thinks it's okay.

GEORGIA: Yeah but Karl's Karl, his taste can be a bit dodgy. Have you heard how many songs he's written about rivers? What's that all about?

Kate assures her she'll be fine. Georgia says she'll be fine as she'll have her friends to support her, or throw tomatoes at her. Kate asks if she can miss the performance out, she doesn't feel up to it. Georgia says that's fine, and tells her she's done more reading on treatment options, if she wants to talk anything through, but Kate says she's done enough thinking about it for a while.

Harold's
Lucas and Vanessa are still buzzing about the baby. Lucas wants a brother for Paddy as one princess in the family is enough! Lauren comes in and sees them smiling and asks if there is any news about the house or anything else. They tell her nothing about the baby, but Lauren leaves smiling at them. Lucas wonders why Vanessa didn't tell Lauren about the baby. Vanessa says it's still early days and she doesn't want to rub the baby in Lauren's face, she's still desperate for a baby herself.

VANESSA: Do you think I'm being silly?
LUCAS: Even if I did I wouldn't tell you about it. (Pause) You're high on hormones!

Lucas bolts out of his chair as Vanessa chases after him.

Number 26
Sheila asks Chris if the hot water has been fixed yet? It isn't, Chris doesn't know why Sheila thought an apprentice mechanic could fix it when Kyle couldn't. Sheila says she's been leaving Lyn messages but she must be avoiding her. Shirtless Kyle comes in, wearing only a towel of the Australian flag. Kyle says Lyn probably has her hands full with Steph. Chris suggests they withhold rent until Lyn gets it sorted. Sheila says they're obligated to pay rent, and tells them to leave it with her and she'll sort it.

Kate comes in hoping the water system is fixed, and storms off in a huff when she learns it isn't. Chris says Kate's been acting strangely recently, and it's not just because of the hot water.

CHRIS: Do you think it's that time of the month?
SHEILA: Oh right, because that's the only explanation when a woman is in a bad mood, is it?
CHRIS: Well no
SHEILA: Well I think it's about time you boys show some sensitivity every now and then.

Number 26 (Kate's room)
Mason straightens up his uniform in Kate's mirror. He invites Kate out for a romantic meal after work. Kate says she isn't in the mood and wants to stay in. Mason suggests bringing a pizza and DVDs, and realises Kate wants a night by herself. Mason says that's okay, but he wants to make sure that he hasn't done anything wrong. She says he hasn't, she's just really tired and is feeling off colour.

Number 32
Lauren tells Matt that she thinks Vanessa is pregnant, and admits that she wishes it was her. Matt says if things were different they would give it their best shot, but between the new business and the chance of moving, it's not possible. Lauren says that Paul and Lucas are close to exchanging contracts on the house. She feels bad that Vanessa's pregnancy is going to be in her face every day. As they talk about it, Mason walks into the hallway and starts overhearing them.

LAUREN: It's confirmed all right. I can spot a pregnancy glow from 50 feet. It would explain all the strange behaviour and the fact that she's constantly tired and off colour.

Mason overhears, and is shocked. Lauren gets a phonecall from Kate looking for Mason. Lauren says he isn't here at the moment but she'll let him know that she called. When she gets off the phone, she resumes her conversation with Matt, telling him that 'she is definitely pregnant.' Mason, looking increasingly more shocked, leaves.

Charlie's
Karl's singing (if that's what you would call it) with Georgia on stage, and receives a round of applause from the crowd. Karl decides to change the set list around and tells the audience they'll play Georgia's song just now. Georgia tries to stop him, but he goes ahead with it and the audience cheer her on. Georgia starts singing, with Kyle, Chris and Hudson in the audience watching. Kate comes in and joins them.

Chris asks Kyle what is next for him and Georgia as they must be pretty serious. Babies, wedding bells? Kyle doesn't know. Kate gets upset and tells them she has to go. Kyle and Chris rush after her. They know she has other people who she can talk to, but they say they are there for her too. Kate says she'll tell them, but not here. Kyle and Chris leave with Kate, Chris giving a nod to Hudson as he leaves. Hudson sits back down and continues listening to Karl and Georgia.

Harold's
Kate tells Chris and Kyle that she has ovarian failure, making it nearly impossible for her to have children. They're shocked but are supportive, and ask how Mason has taken it. She hasn't told Mason yet, whatever way you look at it this news will be a game changer. Kyle thinks she should give Mason the benefit of the doubt, he might surprise her.

Number 26
Sheila lets Mason in while she's leaving another message to Lyn about the hot water. As Mason sits down he sees a leaflet with the title 'Your journey to pregnancy.' He looks really shocked, prompting Sheila to ask if he's okay. Kate arrives home, telling Mason she went to Georgia's gig for a while. Sheila gives them some space. Mason tells Kate she looks great, glowing even.

MASON: I have no idea how to do this, so I'm just going to do it. I will stick by you. We're still young and people younger than us have babies all the time.
KATE: Babies?
MASON: Right, I'm sorry, baby. The point is, I'm here for you, no matter what.
KATE: Mason, you have to stop.

(Later - in Kate's room)

Mason apologises for jumping to the wrong conclusion after overhearing his mum. Kate suggests that he takes time to think about this. Mason says he doesn't need time; it doesn't change how he feels about them as a couple. Kate says it doesn't right now, but once it sinks in it will. Mason says there is still a chance that she can have kids, and that's good enough for him. He tells her she'll get through this.

Dial- A- Kyle/Fitzgerald Motors
Kyle tells Georgia that her song was a ripper, and it's probably the loudest applause that Karl has ever heard (how would you know Kyle - you were at Harold's with Kate and Chris!) Georgia was worried it was a bit full on. Kyle says he feels the same but just wouldn't be able to express it through song like she can. He apologises for missing the end of the set, but she says its fine. He's been a really good friend to Kate and she's sure that she really appreciates it. They hope she sorts out things with Mason.

Across the fence at Fitzgerald Motors, Vanessa asks Lucas if they'll adjust to having another baby. Lucas says they'll be fine, especially if they accept Paul's offer. If they sell it privately then it will save them some money. They decide to break the news.

Number 32 (Night Time)
Lucas and Vanessa tell Matt and Lauren about their decision. Lauren says they'll be fine, and they understand they have to do what's best for them. Lauren invites them to stay for a bottle of wine, unless of course Vanessa can't drink for some reason. Vanessa admits she's pregnant, Lauren hugs and congratulates her.

LAUREN: I told you!
MATT: Yes, well you're the one who should be a police officer.

Matt congratulates them, while Lauren looks sad for a moment. Vanessa apologises for keeping it from them, but Lauren says she couldn't be happier for them.

Number 26 (Next morning)
Mason is making breakfast, while Chris sits eating cereal.

CHRIS: Is that for Kate?
MASON: Well I'm not making Sheila breakfast in bed.
CHRIS: So how's she doing?
MASON: She's okay. Why? Why would you be worried about how Kate's going?
CHRIS: No, I'm not, it's a rhetorical question, like how's she doing? (Hudson walks in and grabs some cereal, he's obviously stayed overnight too)
HUDSON: Just make sure you're looking after yourself too, yeah?
MASON: Why would I need to do that?
HUDSON: Well my aunt and uncle went through something similar, and it took us ages to realise that he was hurting just as much as she was.
MASON: Wait, are you guys telling me that you already know? I can't believe she told you guys before she told me!
CHRIS: No she told Kyle and me, I told Hudson in confidence.
HUDSON: I'm really sorry, I just assumed that you knew.
MASON: Yeah well, I'm only her boyfriend.

Number 26 (Kate's Room)
Mason brings Kate breakfast, and asks how long she's known. He's angry that she's told Chris and Kyle before him, and she's probably told Georgia too. Kate says she didn't tell him sooner as she didn't know if he could handle it.

KATE: I'm struggling getting my own head around this, let alone an 18 year old
MASON: So you're saying I'm not mature enough, you didn't even give me a chance.
KATE: I'm sorry, I'm sorry that I had something major going on in my head that I was trying to sort out by myself.
MASON: So you decided to sort it out with everybody else except me.
KATE: I needed some time to think, that's all
MASON: Take all the time you need.

Mason leaves.

Tomorrow On Neighbours
- Hudson tells Chris that no one is hiring him, someone's been spreading rumours about him
- Josh tells Brad that Hudson cheated and he got away with it when he should have been banned for life.
- Mason tells Paul that Kate is treating him like a kid.
- Kate tells Mason that she needs to be selfish. He asks her if she's breaking up with him.
