Previously on Neighbours
- Terese tells Paul she needs to approve all his decisions
- Imogen tells Amber that Josh doesn't date; Amber tells Josh she wouldn't go out with him if he asked
- Amber finds the sketch Lauren drew of Brad, when Bailey accidentally knocks the picture off the wall
No 32
Lauren catches Amber vacuuming, and asks what's happened. Amber acts innocent, but Lauren's not convinced. Amber picks up the sketch, and asks if it's "Brad across the street". Lauren points out they used to live in the same street.
AMBER: So you used to sketch all your old neighbours?
Lauren admits that they dated - 20 years ago. She says that Matt knows about that, but Amber correctly guesses that he doesn't know about the sketch. Lauren wants to keep it that way. Amber asks how serious it was, and Lauren says he broke her heart. She explains that he got back together with Beth, his first wife. Amber asks if Brad was her first love. Lauren says he was, but it was a long time ago.
Lassiters
Terese tells Paul that he has no choice: he's going to the sexual harassment workshop. He's not keen since she's running it, but she's got experience. Also the rest of the staff are attending. Paul's horrified, as an inspector is coming the following day. A customer (Mr O'Connor) comes to complain that he didn't get his paper.
MR O'CONNOR: If I was ten, OK maybe twenty years younger, I might have asked you to deliver it to my room personally.
TERESE: Well, if I was ten years older, I may have taken you up on that.
They both laugh and Paul is not impressed. Terese says he was harmless, and tells Paul not to be late.
Charlie's
An employee is just finishing sharing her experience. Terese thanks her, and says they are going to move on to role play. In the front row, Sheila is grumbling about having to attend, and Paul says she needs to be there. Terese thanks them for volunteering. Sheila plays Paul's boss, and she runs her hands through his hair and over his chest as he sits on a chair.
PAUL: I'm being sexually harassed at a sexual harassment workshop.
When she sits on his knee, Paul pushes her off, and asks Terese if it's just a joke. She says they'll move on, and Paul and Sheila sit down.
SHEILA: You enjoyed every minute of it.
PAUL: Oh purlease.
SHEILA: Nice hair!
Paul scowls, and smooths his hair down.

The sketch of Brad is on the counter when Matt comes in. Lauren stands in front of it. She and Amber chat to him about Bailey, and she asks him to get something from the fridge while she turns it over. He sees the sketch of the house and asks what happened. Lauren explains, saying she was going to throw it away. Matt says no, he likes it, and he will get the glass replaced on the way to work. Amber volunteers, saying it was her fault. Matt asks what she's done, prompting Amber to question why everyone asks that when she offers to do something nice. She says what happened to Bailey has made her mature, and Matt comments there's hope for her yet. She goes off with the sketch and frame, and Lauren looks relieved.
Harold's
Josh and Imogen are at a table when Amber comes in. Josh gets up to leave, and Amber asks him not to go on her account. She apologises for what happened last week, and he says he has to go to weight training. They exchange a few awkward remarks and he leaves.
IMOGEN: Could you be any more obvious? Actually, do not answer that, because I have a scary feeling you could be.
Amber says they were just talking, then swiftly changes the subject by telling Imogen that Lauren and Brad used to date, but she asks Imogen not to tell anyone as Lauren wants to keep it quiet. Imogen asks how serious it was.
Charlie's
Terese suggests another role- playing exercise and "volunteers" Paul, who was yawning in the front row. He is to play Terese's boss.
TERESE: You should make it very clear that you want me, and you can be as pushy as you like.
SHEILA: Hardly a stretch for him.
Paul reluctantly comes up onto the stage, and Terese explains the scenario.
PAUL: (sounding bored) Would you like to come out for a drink?
TERESE: You can do better than that. Perhaps you've come across an inappropriate workplace behaviour yourself that you'd like to draw on.
So Paul tries considerably harder to proposition her (drawing on his experience with Priya, so it seems). Terese turns to the audience and says he's crossed a line. Paul disagrees, and shows what is *really* crossing a line by taking her into his arms, putting his hand on her bottom. Sheila says he's done that to her, which he denies. Terese tells him to sit down, which he does, smirking. Terese scowls.
Lassiters lake
Brad and Imogen are walking by the lake. She asks if it's true he and Lauren date, and he's a bit taken aback. He admits it's true, and Terese knows about it. Imogen asks if her mum finds it weird. Brad asks why, since it's ancient history.
BRAD: You have nothing to worry about.
Imogen points out that he said that when she was 10, just before he and Terese split up. She knows it was because Terese had an affair - her boss kissed her. He explains that her boss was good looking and fancied her. She tried to take advantage of that, but realised it was wrong when he kissed her. It caused problems for them, but they made up. He reassures Imogen that they are stronger for it.
Charlie's (outside)
Brad and Imogen decide what to have for lunch and Imogen goes off to order. Sheila comes out and tells him that Paul behaved inappropriately with Terese at the workshop. She advises Brad to watch him.
Lassiters
Brad comes up to Terese, who wants to know why he's there, and if he's been drinking. He kisses her, but she tells him it doesn't look professional. He asks about the workshop, and she says it was fine. He asks about Paul, and she says it was just role- play and she can handle it. He offers to make dinner. At first she says she will be busy, but then agrees.
Harold's
Amber finds Josh trying to do homework (about the Chinese Revolution). She offers to help, but he says he needs a brain transplant. She asks what he's listening to. He says Queen.
JOSH: I know: majorly uncool, but they have some songs which really pump you up before a race.
Amber consoles him by saying he's not a sheep. He sighs, and says that Imogen thinks he was wrong to drop Brad as a coach. She says that if you want to compete at top level, you can't be sentimental, and Brad will realise that. She again offers to do his assignment. He refuses, but she says she knows a lot about the subject, having watched Mao's Last Dancer, and he can make it up to her. He asks how, and she says it's up to him. He thanks her, telling her to text if there's a problem.
Lassiters
Paul and Terese are pleased because the hotel is ready for the inspection. He thinks they make a good team. She tells him he owes her an apology, which he rather grudgingly gives. She tells him it's always about power with him. She's just about to leave when the fire alarm goes off.
(Later)
Paul calls someone to get the code to turn it off, saying he's sure it's not a fire. Mr O'Connor is pushed out of the lift on a trolley. Terese says he tripped over some equipment, broke his leg, and set off the fire alarm to call for help. Paul's worried: Mr O'Connor might sue, the guests are complaining and the fire alarm is broken - and the inspector is coming tomorrow! Terese tells him to go to the hospital to get a liability waiver signed, but he says it would be better coming from her. She agrees, but says she has to make a call. Paul says he'll phone Brad, so she leaves.
No 22
Brad answers the phone to Paul, who says Terese is going to be late. He asks how late, but Paul says he's snowed under, and just repeats she'll be late, and rings off. Brad tells Imogen that Paul rang to her mum's been held up. She asks why Terese didn't ring and whether she's still got to go out, and he says if she doesn't want to see her parents being affectionate, she better had.
(Morning)
Brad is asleep on the sofa when he gets a text alert. There are two texts from Terese, one saying she's pulling an all- nighter, and one saying she's up to her eyeballs. He leaves a message for her to call him. Josh asks if they've had a row, and Brad replies that Terese and Paul were working through the night because of the inspector. He goes out, telling Josh he's going for a walk.
Ramsay Street
Sheila is watering her plants. Brad walks up and asks her what she meant about Paul. She says that Paul had an affair with Ajay's wife, and he sees a wedding ring as a challenge.
BRAD: Do you really think he's that much of a grub?
SHEILA: Ask Ajay.
They both glance over at Ajay, who is making a completely random appearance raking leaves. Brad thanks her and strides purposefully down the street.
Lassiters
Paul and Terese are chatting about the inspection, and he is relieved that she managed to get the liability waiver signed. The inspector comes over and says they have a fine hotel. Paul asks if it is worth five stars. He says it's looking positive, although there are a few things to go over. Paul and Terese are thrilled and hug. At that moment, Brad comes in, and shouts at Paul.
BRAD: Get away from my wife.
He tells Paul he knows about his history with other women, and sexually harassing the staff. Terese tells him to leave Paul alone, and Paul tells him this isn't the time. Terese drags him off, as the inspector watches. Paul looks worried.
