Andrew isn't amused at his dad's talk with Tash and comes to confront him about it. Paul sticks to the same story of "it's good for Charlie's" but Andrew isn't accepting it and dictates to his dad that while he can throw his weight around in some areas of his life, warns him to stay out of his relationship.

Number 24 (next day)
Ajay is trying to talk to Karl about the fundraiser but his mind isn't on it, he's still thinking about Susan.

Harold's Store
Priya complements Susan on her outfit for Patrick's fundraiser and asks if it's for Karl's benefit, which she denies and reiterates that they are just friends!

Number 24
Karl admits he is frustrated at how things are with Susan, commenting that they are great together and plans on waiting until it's the right moment before making another move.

Harold's Store
Priya is telling Susan to go for it but she still thinks it's over between them.

Number 24
Karl just thinks Susan is hiding her feelings and that she is just in denial!

AJAY: I'll give you 50 points for optimism Karl!
KARL: You trust me, I know Susan! Whether she knows it or not, she wants me!! I just need to be patient, play my cards right.

Harold's Store
Paul sweet talks Karl and Ajay into holding their gig in Charlie's on the promise of donating the bars takings on top of the donation by Andrew! Both are stunned at the gesture but once Paul leaves, Ajay tells Karl he doesn't want them to play there because he thinks Paul is goading him. He tells Karl to do the gig alone as he doesn't want to ruin the fundraiser.

Number 28
Andrew comes by with Tash's favourite foods as a peace offering but she's not buying it because he considered sacking her. He tries to explain the rationale but she's still not buying it and accuses him of putting her third in his list of priorities behind his dad and the bar, and slams the door shut on him!

Ramsay Street
Tash unloads about what happened to Karl as he's trying to get ready for the gig (and is totally ignoring her) but all she manages to achieve is to realise she's been an idiot!

Number 24
Priya is surprised to see Ajay at home and not at the fundraiser. He explains about the gig being moved but she can't understand why that should be a problem and tells him that the only way to get back at Paul is to show no weakness!

PRIYA: By avoiding him, all you are doing is just giving him the satisfaction of thinking he's got a hold over you.
AJAY: ...
PRIYA: Ajay, this whole situation it's just awful but it's not your fault.
AJAY: ...
PRIYA: I messed up. I messed up and so did Paul and we're the ones that fold in, not you, you've done nothing wrong.
AJAY: I already know all this.
PRIYA: You're the one hiding away. I'm not going to tell you what to do but doesn't make sense to me.

Harold's Store
Karl spots Susan and compliments her on her outfit and mentions that Ajay has pulled out. He asks if she's still going to the fundraiser, she is, and comments on how great it is that everyone is pulling together for it.

Number 24
Ajay contemplates what Priya has said and stares at his drumsticks before eventually grabbing them (and his car keys) before exiting the house.

Charlie's
Paul explains why everyone is gathered and to dig deep (and buy raffle tickets) to raise money for Patrick before telling the gathered to put in their earplugs ahead of welcoming the one- man The Right Prescription to the stage. Just at that, Ajay comes rushing in and says it will be a duo The Right Prescription and asks Paul to help him get the rest of his drum kit in from the car!

(Later)

The Right Prescription strut their stuff and the extras are having a whale of a time dancing along.

"Wow," Priya keeps repeating - she's sussed out who Karl is singing to and comments to Susan that Karl obviously hasn't got the message that she isn't interested! "I wish he'd look at me like that again like he used to," Priya then remarks, noticing that Ajay is looking everywhere else but at her. "Give it time," is Susan's words of wisdom even though Priya doesn't seem to think that will make any difference. She then asks Susan why she kept taking Karl back and after thinking for a couple of seconds, replies that it was due to being familiar.

SUSAN: We always have such a great time when it's working. And there's all that shared history and he does make me laugh. I loved him.
PRIYA: So what's different this time? Why won't you take him back?
SUSAN: We've been through so much now, maybe too much, maybe we've missed our chance and it's just not going to happen.
PRIYA: Not now or not never?

Susan chooses not to answer that one but Priya thinks there is hope for her!

(Later)

The Right Prescription (finally) finish and Paul "compliments" the truly painful experience before inviting Lucas onto the stage to say a few words. He thanks everyone for coming along and for their support too.

Susan goes over to Karl to congratulate him on his performance and agrees to have a coffee with him.

Number 28
Andrew comes around after Tash texted to summon him. He tries to talk but she silences him as she's doing the talking! She explains that somehow they work well together and gets his guarantee that he'll only fire her as a last resort. He then queries why she is wearing a trench coat when it's so warm and when she unties it, I assume given the camera angle we see she's either got nothing on or very little on and they quickly retreat to her room!!!

Lassiters hotel
Tash interrupts Paul's business meeting to show him a new staff rota at Charlie's for the next few days - Andrew is taking her away to a romantic retreat! Paul is rather blasé about it, he thinks the novelty will wear off on Andrew quickly enough, but Tash thinks otherwise because she knows and respects Andrew, something he'll never do!

TASH: Ciao!

Number 24
Priya returns home and thanks Ajay for playing at the benefit; it's raised a lot of money for Patrick/Vanessa. "Me too," he replies nicely and it feels like the animosity there has been in recent weeks has gone away.

Charlie's
As they finish their coffee, Karl offers to shout Susan dinner but before she can reply, she leaves to take a call.

Meanwhile, Lucas tells Chris that he is thrilled at how well the day has gone and rejects Chris' thoughts that he wished he could do more, thinking back to how much money Lucas lost in the aftermath of the accident.

The pair then go onto the stage to draw the raffle where the top prize is a romantic night for two at Lassiters hotel, which Karl wins! "So who's the lucky lady?!" Chris asks!

(Later)

Commercial break later and Chris hands over the prize info to Karl. He remarks that Karl doesn't seem too thrilled but he quickly replies that he is before asking Chris if he believes in signs. "What sort?" Chris asks but Karl doesn't do a great job of explaining what they are, leaving Chris to say simply, "enjoy," before quickly retreating!

Karl spots Susan returning from her call and he tells her about winning top prize in the raffle and invites her to join him but she's not listening. She asks if he's seen Paul and after failing to spot him in the bar, asks what's wrong.

SUSAN: I can't believe it!

Karl is immediately concerned and asks what is wrong and she tells him that Paul has sold the paper! The realisation then dawns on Susan.

SUSAN: I think I might be out of a job?!

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Karl wanting to talk to Susan about last night.
- Karl taking up his prize.
- Rani gloating about how much freedom she's now getting.
- Priya letting rip at Rani.
- Paul threatening Priya's job.
