Music is playing. Priya comes in and tries to explain about Paul, but Ajay shushes her. She tries to make conversation about the music with Rani, but getting nowhere, takes her case to the spare room, passing a family photo on the way.
The kitchen is a mess. Sheila is shouting that the garden is out of control and the place is a pigsty.
SHEILA: What happened to the chores roster I put up?
KYLE: Maybe someone tidied it away.
He tells her he can manage without her help. She doesn't think so, adding that she couldn't relax in a mess like that. Kyle promises it's his top priority, so Sheila leaves to get supplies for dinner.
Andrew and Tash are kneeling behind the bar, checking the fridge. Andrew says they should check the storeroom, because supplies are low. He says it will be a "very, very thorough" look, but Tash says her shift is over. Andrew pulls her down for a kiss as she is about to leave. Summer walks in, looking for Tash, who pops from behind the bar. Summer reminds her about the garage sale she was supposed to be helping with. Tash says Andrew's been running her off her feet. She and Andrew exchange a grin as she leaves.
A load of extras are browsing at Summer's garage sale. Paul comes over to enquire if she's actually leaving this time. Tash arrives with her "zombie rubbish". She staggered that Summer is selling her Uni ball dress. Summer says she's not going to wear it again.
SUMMER: It's time to let go of the past and focus on the future.
TASH: So you're selling your dress and keeping your textbook. How did we become friends?
Tash shows Summer the zombie stuff she brought out: films and some badges. Summer wants to keep the badges because Andrew gave them to her. Tash asks if she still likes him. Summer says no, but he's always going to be important. Tash agrees she should keep them, but she looks pensive.
Rani comes out of her room saying that something smells good, but stops when she sees that it's Priya. She has cooked chicken biryani, which is Ajay's speciality. Rani claims she's not hungry, but takes a plateful when Ajay does.
PRIYA: I thought we could watch a movie afterwards. How does that sound?
Priya has got a couple of Bollywood films. Rani doesn't want to watch them, but grudgingly agrees when Ajay says her mum's putting in a lot of effort.
Kyle is making the house even more untidy so Sheila will leave. Chris isn't convinced by this strategy. He suggests talking to her, but Kyle says asking her to leave will break her heart. They hear Sheila arriving, and Chris runs to his room. Sheila asks what's happened. Kyle suggests maybe Bossy got in. Sheila's not taken in.
SHEILA: Your accomplice can come out of hiding too. Christopher!
CHRIS: Er, it's actually Christos.
SHEILA: I'm talking now, Chris.
How rude. She tells the boys they should be ashamed of themselves, and that she expects the place to be spotless. We learn that Kyle's middle name is Eugene.
CHRIS: Eugene? (smirks)
KYLE: Shut up and get the vacuum cleaner.
Tash tells Andrew that they need to tell Summer. Andrew points out that she's just about to leave. Tash says Summer's her best friend and she's mooning over an old badge. She deserves to hear in person, not over Facebook. Andrew disagrees, so Tash says she'll tell Summer herself.
Tash tells Summer there's something she needs to say. Summer says she knows: she's finally got her life back on track, and she's going to miss her.
SUMMER: You know, when I first met you, I hated you.
TASH: I hated you more!
Summer tells Tash she's like a sister. Tash tells her to quit the emotional talk as she's not dying. Summer goes off to get more change. Andrew walks over and Tash tells him she couldn't tell Summer. Andrew assures her she's done the right thing.
It's night time. Kyle is just finishing the cleaning, and Sheila is impressed, even more so when he explains his work system. He tells her he's sorted and thinks she would be happier with the family in Frankston. She says they don't need her, but promises to move out in the morning.
Priya asks if they want to watch another film, but Rani 's going to bed. Priya says she thought they were having a "family night". Rani shouts at her, telling her she can't act as if nothing happened: she cheated and lied. She says she doesn't want her mother there.
RANI: I hate you.
She storms out. After a pause, Ajay follows her. When he returns, Priya assures him things will improve.
PRIYA: We have to keep working.
AJAY: You keep saying we. Why? There is no "we".
He reminds her that she's only there so that Rani can have a relationship with her mother. He advises her not to suffocate Rani and points out that this is not fixing what she did. He goes to bed. Priya gets a text from Paul, offering her a room at Lassiters. She looks distraught.
Priya has laid out a breakfast of pancakes, OJ, coffee and hot chocolate. Ajay and Rani decide to eat as there are only two place settings. Priya is listening in from the laundry and hears Rani say that she doesn't want to talk to her mother.
Sheila has made some sandwiches for Chris. Kyle arrives home and says Sheila can stay. He checks with Chris - who agrees - and they're sure Rhys will be fine with it. Kyle tells her she has to be more chilled and she agrees to try.
SHEILA: I'm going to be the coolest housemate ever.
Kyle gives her a paper so she can check the ads for a job. Chris says he wants to go to see Summer off. Sheila tells him not to leave his plate dirty. In the kitchen, Chris asks Kyle if he's sure, pointing out that he can get food from his parents, and they don't inspect his room! Kyle says he can't kick her out when she's always been there for him.
Chris and Summer hug. Then Tash says to Summer that she needs to tell her something.
SUMMER: That you and Andrew are together?
Summer says it's been obvious. Chris wants to know why he didn't know. He and Andrew leave to feed Lenny, while Tash tells Summer she wanted to say something before, but she didn't know what was happing. She begs Summer not to hate. Summer assures her she doesn't. In fact, it's awesome. Susan arrives.
Andrew asks Summer if she's OK with him and Tash. She says as long as he treats her well. He tells her to "have a blast" and they hug. Summer hugs the others who have followed them out of the house. She gets in the car with Susan and they drive off.
Andrew goes home, and Chris tells Tash she's the last person he expected to get in a relationship, especially with Andrew. She denies it's a relationship. She watches Andrew walking up to his house, and frowns.
