- Toadie tells Kyle he needs to be surrounded by mates.
- Georgia's suggestion of a bush dance in the shed doesn't impress the teens.
- Priya tells Paul it's over.
Paul comes out of his house and, hearing footsteps, heads up the drive of No 24 to see Priya coming down the steps. She frowns and asks what he wants. Ajay follows her down. Paul says he wants a chat about some business, which she says can wait, but Paul disagrees, making Ajay ask what the emergency is.
PRIYA: There is none. Paul's just got his knickers in a twist over nothing.
Paul insists they have to discuss something, but she fobs him off, and Ajay says they have to go. He takes a call...
Toadie is on the phone, telling someone he is ill. When he hangs up, Connor asks if he is contagious, but it turns out he's pulling a sickie. Connor starts planning their day: pub, paintballing, TV. Toadie's not sure if it's a good idea: Ajay is a good boss. Connor points out it's his last chance before the baby's born. Toadie agrees.
CONNOR: You will not regret this.
TOADIE: (reveals Lawman costume) No, but you will. Prepare to die, Shamrock!
Dial- a- Kyle
Harley claims he can't hear Kyle, who is telling him he's late. Georgia drives up. She tells Kyle she's come to pick up the stuff for the bush dance. Harley groans, proving to Kyle that he could hear. Harley says it's lame: they're 15 not 5, and nobody will come. Kyle sends him off to school. Georgia carries one of the 24 hay bales over to her car, which she struggles to fit in. Kyle offers to take them in the ute: they can then do it in 2 trips.
Toadie and Connor are wrestling. Sonya arrives back.
SONYA: You're working from home, I see.
Toadie claims he can work better without distractions(!) Sonya sees the kitchen is a mess. He says he'll clear up, but she says it's OK for him to have fun because it'll be full on when Jellyfish arrives.
Priya is in the schoolyard. After a brief altercation with Harley over his iPod (presumably, other mp3 players are available), Paul comes over and hands her an envelope. It's a pair of tickets to the Whitsundays. He's booked them a private villa so they don't have to sneak around. She reminds him it's over, as her family are more important.
Kyle is carrying the bales in for Georgia, who tells him to arrange them to leave a dance space. He laughs at the idea that 15 year old boys would ask girls to dance. She tells him that line dancing has no partners and it's really easy. She offers to show him, and turns on some music and hands him a Stetson. He won't dance, so she asks if he's a snob, or a chicken. He finally agrees to join in if she shuts up!
Connor is playing a video game. Sonya goes to have lie down. Connor asks if Toadie wants to watch Annalise's documentary. He says maybe later, adding that they can't go on living the same way. He's got a lot going on in the coming months, as Connor will know with Maddy.
TOADIE: Catching up with you, bringing back the House of Trouser, it's been superb, buddy. But we're not 25 anymore, are we?
Connor accepts it's time to move on, but asks for one more day and Toadie agrees.
Priya is sitting on a bench, eating lunch. Paul sidles up and she tells him he's stalking her. He tells her she's more than a game and he thanks her for her advice about Andrew. She's says she's glad it helped, but repeats it's over. He says what's between them is special. He gives her a cork with her name and a date, and she remembers them drinking champagne and kissing.
Connor and Toadie are at the bar. Toadie asks if Connor has caught up with Lori and Maddy, but he avoids the question and asks about Stu and Sindi. Toadie says they have patched things up and are on the farm in Oakey, so the HOT are all family men. Connor says he's still free. He tells Toadie to get in the next round while he goes off. Since Toadie got the last round and Connor left his wallet on the bar, Toadie picks it up and pulls out a note, and finds a photo of Maddy. On the back it says: "hi dad this is my dress for mums wedding. Hope you can come. Love Maddy xx" When Connor returns, he realises it was a mistake to leave his wallet. Toadie asks about Maddy and Connor says she emails a lot. He asks about Lori, and Connor avoids the question, so Toadie says he saw the photo. Connor tells Toadie about the wedding and that he's not going. Toadie is surprised because Maddy wants him there. Connor doesn't think she'll notice. Lori's new husband has plenty of money and is always around.
Kyle comes to find Georgia sweeping up. She tells him she's made plenty of room for the cows that are coming. He frowns until she says she's joking. She thanks him for his help and asks him for a drink. He says no, because all he wants to do is hang out at home. She says he shouldn't stay in just because Jade's not around. She suggests he and the boys get together with her and some friends. He agrees.
Connor and Toadie return from paintballing and Connor goes for a shower. Toadie tells Sonya that Lori is getting married. Sonya asks if Connor still loves her. Toadie says no: it's all about seeing someone else becoming Maddy's dad. Sonya says he'll always be her father, and he needs to go to the wedding.
Paul is sitting at a table, and Priya comes in. She looks over at him, and he starts to get up. But she walks over to Ajay, who has bought her flowers, and they kiss. Paul scowls and walks out.
Ajay and Priya are walking up the street with their arms round each other. Ajay wants to buy champagne and flowers every day. Priya laughs and says they'd be broke. "Broke but happy", replies Ajay. Paul catches up with them, and Ajay tells him Charlie's stock fine champagne. Paul says champagne is very important to him and Priya looks uncomfortable. Paul says he wants to talk to Priya. A disgruntled Ajay says they're celebrating their anniversary. However, he heads in and Priya tells Paul he can't say anything to change her mind.
PAUL: Nothing I can say to *you*.
Priya looks panicky as Paul glances up the drive. She reminds him of his promise and his family. He's unmoved, so she says they wouldn't believe him. He says he's very convincing. She says he wouldn't.
PAUL: You and I both know that I would.
Paul walks off with a smug smile, leaving a Priya looking horrified.
