Outside Harold's
Toadie, Ajay and Priya come out of Harold's. Ajay is putting on a smart jacket, which Toadie tells him he needn't wear outside work, but then questions if he is going into the office. Ajay replies that it's family time, and he and Priya walk off.

Toadie then comes over to sit at a table with Chris, and offers to represent him. Chris asks if he is serious. Toadie tells him to check with his parents, but he means it. Chris says his dad has hired Don. Toadie says that Don seems to be struggling, and will be glad to get Chris off his list. Chris protests that they can't afford him, but Toadie tells him it will be "off the books" but asks him not to tell anyone, joking that he doesn't want people thinking he works for free. Chris asks if he should come to the office on Monday. Toadie suggests they go there immediately, as it will be deserted at the weekend. They head off.

No 26
Rhys goes to the fridge, and finds an empty carton of milk, which he angrily says he only bought the day before. Jade doesn't know anything about it. Rhys looks at Harley, who says he didn't drink it. Rhys points out that he's poured half a litre on his cereal.

RHYS: What are you? The Milky Bar Kid?

Kyle tries to cover, saying that he and Jade had smoothies earlier. Jade says they didn't. Harley gets up and rudely says that if Rhys wants it, he can have it.

KYLE: Mate, there's heaps there, if you don't mind sultanas with your coffee.

Rhys says that Harley has to go. Kyle says that he will get more milk. Rhys sarcastically says that will make everything better! Kyle asks Rhys to give him a break, because he's only 15, and needs role models, and advisers.

RHYS: Well, my advice is stop being an obnoxious little jerk and go home.

Jade tells him to get over it. Rhys says that either Harley goes or he goes, and he pays rent! So Kyle says he'll talk to him, but says he's still settling in and making friends. Rhys asks if that means his "feral mates" are going to be hanging around eating their food as well. Kyle assures him that won't happen. Cue knock at the door. Feral mates? Well, it's Callum and Rani. Rhys points out to Kyle that there are three of them. Kyle doesn't think they're feral... Rani's mum is a principal. Anyway, he says, they'll be in Harley's room. Harley walks through and says they need the big screen. Rhys says he'll have to hang out in his room. Kyle suggests he play a few rounds, because it might be good exercise for his hand.

Rani says hi to Harley. He answers her briefly, before chatting to Callum about the game they are playing. Rani looks bored. When Harley asks who's playing, Callum asks whether Rani doesn't need her glasses. Rather annoyed, she replies she'll be fine. Callum asks her why she's being weird: she says she's not.

HARLEY: You're red.
RANI: (embarrassed) No, no, I'm not.
HARLEY: Yeah, you are. I'm blue.

Harley and Rani start the game, with Callum giving instructions to Rani. Rani quickly runs into trouble, and says she's hopeless. Harley says she just needs her glasses. Rani decides to let Callum play instead, saying she's better at SIMS.

(Later)

The boys are still playing. Rani is bored, and suggests they could go to the shops or the city later. They ignore her, but when she asks Harley again he says no. She decides to leave. Rhys comes in and tells them to keep it down or he turns it off. Harley gives him some cheek, ending by saying he'll stop when he's finished the level. Rhys says it's not going to happen because he's rubbish. Harley says it isn't Pacman, but Rhys says, you've played one, you've played them all. Rhys takes over from Callum, who is impressed when Rhys wins. Rhys says it's not exactly brain surgery, but good for his reflexes. Harley challenges him to the next level. Kyle looks on, pleased.

Simmons and Colbert
In the (lack of) privacy of the boardroom, Toadie asks Chris to tell him what happened. Chris starts to explain, but breaks off to say that he could have killed them all. Toadie tells him to stick with what happened and asks why he took his eyes off the road. Chris asks why it matters - there's no excuse. Toadie says there are mitigating circumstances. He points out that Chris has already been tried and convicted, but this is a civil case and Paul will make things as difficult as possible. He says that he knows Chris, and he wouldn't take his eyes off the road unless there was a very good reason. Chris says that Sophie needs rehab. Toadie says that Paul isn't doing it for Sophie, he's doing it for revenge, and he will go after Chris' parents for the money. Chris sighs, then tells Toadie that they didn't realise Sophie was in the car...

No 24
Ajay is leafing through some papers on a table. He asks Priya if she's seen one of his files. She says she put it in his briefcase. When he asks why, she says it's the weekend and he needs a break. She asks him if he'd like to go for a walk. He says he'd love to but he can't. He looks at his phone.

AJAY: Nineteen items in my to-do list. And I've only done four.
PRIYA: And where do we figure on that list?
AJAY: (shows her the phone) "Spend time with the wife" And I made it a reoccurring task, huh? Check that out.
PRIYA: Cute, but it doesn't get you off the hook.

She tells him that probably no-one else in the office works as hard as him - they'll all be playing golf or something. He thinks she's a genius - the office will be empty!

AJAY: I go in there, knock this over, I'm back in time for my reoccurring task.

Priya is not impressed and says she rather he worked at home. He says it would be quicker at the office. She points out that he has to drive there and back [which took Toadie ages the first day]. He says he'll take the tollway if it's busy. He's the teamleader, the pressure is on and he's doing his best. He blows her a kiss.

Simmons and Colbert
Chris tells Toadie about the crash, interspersed with flashbacks. He says there was an argument in the car and Andrew tried to get Tash's phone.

CHRIS: He leaned over into the back seat and he kinda fell on me.
TOADIE: Andrew interfered while you were driving.
CHRIS: No, not on purpose. I took my eyes off the road. It just happened so fast.

He asks Toadie if he still wants to defend him. Toadie says he's on his side 100%. Next, he will request Sophie's medical report and the police report. Toadie and Chris stand up to leave, and Chris thanks Toadie. The door opens and it's Ajay, who is surprised to see them. Toadie tells him that he and Chris were just discussing solicitors. Not surprisingly, Ajay doesn't believe him, and after asking Chris to leave, Ajay asks Toadie what he's doing. Toadie says that Chris needs representation. Ajay is annoyed that Toadie has taken Chris on despite his instructions to the contrary. Toadie promises to do it on his own time, and not to use company resources. Ajay points out that he already has. He says he knows Toadie has a problem with Ajay being his boss, which Toadie denies. So Ajay asks what other reason he has for ignoring what he said. Toadie says he just wants to help Chris. Ajay says that both their jobs are at risk if Toadie does this. He says that Toadie has to abide by his decision and tell Chris he can't represent him.

No 26
Rhys and Harley are still playing, and Kyle is on the phone telling someone they are like soul mates. Callum gets up and says he has to go. Harley is surprised. Callum says he doesn't have to, but he is bored. Rhys asks him to leave the Wii(?????????) for a couple of hours, but Callum refuses. Harley says he has one. Kyle says he didn't know that, but Harley says Kyle hasn't seen a lot of his stuff. Kyle and Rhys head out for coffee. Harley picks up Rhys's wallet, which was on the coffee table, and takes out some cash.

Simmons and Colbert
Toadie comes into Ajay's office, and Ajay apologises for being harsh, but it's the job. Toadie says he understands. He agrees with Ajay that they want to help Chris. Ajay asks how Chris took the news. Toadie says he hasn't told him. He continues that he respects Ajay, but after what happened with Peter Noonan, he feels he owes Chris. Ajay tells him he must separate work and personal feelings. Toadie tells Ajay that Chris nearly died because of what Peter did, so the company owes him too. Ajay says it's not up to them to make the decision. Toadie says Ajay can, and it's the right thing to do. He's not the only lawyer who can help, but he wants to. Ajay sighs and promises to think about it.

No 24
Priya is reading when Rani walks in. Priya asks if she'd like to go for a walk [Priya is obviously desparate for a walk] but Rani says no. Rani comes to sit down, and when Priya asks what she's been up to, she says she's been hanging out with Callum. All this time, she's been avoiding her mother's gaze. Priya calls her on it, and first she says she's thirsty, then she has something in her eye. Priya finds that she's got contact lenses. She's disappointed to see that they're blue and that Rani has wasted her money on such rubbish. Rani says that people like blue eyes. Priya tells her she has beautiful eyes. Rani says that if she had beautiful eyes, she wouldn't need glasses. Priya says her glasses are nice. Rani misinterprets this to mean she's ugly, which Priya disagrees with.

RANI: You're old and married. You don't care how you look and you want me to be ugly too.

Priya thinks she's being ridiculous and wants to know if the glasses or the brown eyes are the problem. Rani says she's a control freak and strops off. Priya sighs in frustration.

(Later)

Priya is cleaning when Rani comes in to apologise for calling her mother ugly. Priya questions "old", so Rani says that Priya is younger than a lot of her friends' mums. Priya says that Rani is beautiful. Rani replies that Priya is her mum and has to say that! But sugar coating is not Priya's style. They talk about it a bit more, and Rani says she still doesn't want to wear glasses - contacts are easier. She says she could get clear ones, and Priya agrees and they head out.

No 30
Toadie invites Ajay in. Ajay says he called Charlotte, and that eventually she had agreed to let Toadie take the case pro bono. Toadie is very grateful. Ajay reminds Toadie that he mustn't let down any of his other clients. Toadie promises he won't. Ajay says if it goes wrong, they'll both be unemployed. They shake hands.

No 26
Harley comes into the loungeroom where Kyle is watching TV. Kyle asks where he's been. He says he's been to Franga to pick something up. It's a Wii system. Kyle admires it, and comments that it must have cost a bit. Harley claims he got it last Christmas - from Santa. Kyle is dubious as it looks brand new. Rhys and Harley play. Jade comes in and asks how it's going.

JADE: Have they killed each other yet?
KYLE: Not in real life.
JADE: Oh. Video games do have their uses then.

Kyle takes Jade into the kitchen and tells her he wonders if Harley stole the machine. Jade suggests that Kyle should talk to him, but not accuse him of something without proof. Jade walks off, and Kyle gets something out of the fridge which is off. He thows it in the bin, and finds an receipt for a Wii games system, date 13/09/2012, costing $200. Kyle frowns. Meanwhile, Harley asks Rhys for another game, but Rhys says he has to work. Harley tells him to have fun, and then he walks into the kitchen looking for Bossy. Kyle asks him about the receipt, and why Harley lied. Harley says he didn't want the others knowing he didn't have any games, and it was embarrassing. Kyle says he didn't mean to embarrass him, but where did he get $200? Harley claims he saved up. Kyle says he can go, and Harley goes out of the back door. Rhys comes through into the kitchen, saying that the $200 he had in his wallet has gone. Kyle says it was him - he needed it for the rent. Rhys is annoyed that Kyle would go through his wallet, and tells Kyle to ask next time, which Kyle promises to do. Kyle picks up the receipt and sighs.

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Kyle asks Harley where he got the money for the Wii.
- Rani asks Harley if he'd like to do something, and Harley agrees.
- Ajay realises Rani is interested in boys and Priya tells him that Harley was expelled from his last school
- Lucas tells Sonya that Vanessa is handling it well. Sonya tells him she doesn't want to see him get hurt.
