Previously on Neighbours
- Ed reminds Tash that she enjoyed LARPing and Tash accepts the Facebook invitation to the comic swap- meet.
- Jade kicks Kyle out of No 24 after he says he kissed Kate.
- Chris and Summer have an argument about the Dear Sally column.
Summer comes into the kitchen and tells Karl she hasn't slept well. He asks if she is worrying about Andrew. She says it's Chris - they had a fight. Karl is surprised, since he thought they were good friends.
CHRIS: And then I told her if she wasn't so self absorbed, you guys wouldn't have broken up.
ANDREW: Hah! And you made it out of there alive, huh?!
Summer tells Karl she thought Chris was dealing with his break up with Aidan. Karl says Summer should have asked him about it, but she says (rather doubtfully) she did. Summer says she isn't self- obsessed
Andrew says that Summer IS self- obsessed, but they don't tell her. Chris says he hoped things would get back to normal but Andrew said he thought it was too soon - Summer probably feels bad about it but she's angry about the first fight. Chris concedes that, and says that some things would be hard to take back. Andrew thinks she needed to hear it. Chris thinks they can't be friends any more.
Karl says that he's sure Summer hasn't lost Chris as a friend.
Andrew tells Chris to give her some time.
Summer is worried that they will drift further apart. Karl tells her it is not going to happen.
Kyle is trying unsuccessfully to get Bossy to roll over. Jade watches him, and then comes over. Kyle says she's distracting Bossy, who has been going backwards since living at the yard. Jade gets Bossy to sit, lie and roll over. Kyle says Bossy must be missing Jade. Jade walks off and then Bossy rolls over for Kyle. Jade turns and tells Kyle to remember to give her lots of praise. Kyle watches Jade leave.
Tash comes into the kitchen and Karl asks her about the comic- swap. Tash asks how he knew about it. Karl said she left the flyer lying about. Summer comes in and leaves for boot camp. Karl says he didn't think Tash was into comics. She says she's not, but Ed invited her. Karl says it's good she's meeting new people. Then he realises that Tash thinks the other girls will think that comic swapping is a bit lame. He jokingly suggests that she could borrow a Mr Spock costume from Toadie, and promises not to tell anyone else.
Jade answers the door to Kyle, who asks if he can use the washing machine to wash some T- shirts. She says he can use the laundromat. He says it was nice having a chat before, and she replies that it wasn't a chat. She eventually agrees to let him use the machine but won't talk to him.
Andrew (sarcastically) thanks Tash for her help. He tells her about Summer and Chris and not to interfere. She refuses his offer of a drink as she is meeting someone. Andrew asks who, and she is embarrassed as she admits it's Ed. Andrew asks if it's a date, and she denies it and says they're working on the app. Ed walks up, carrying a box. Andrew asks him what's in the box and Ed tells him it's some comics. Tash says they should go and drags Ed off.
Kyle is sorting out his washing when Sheila appears. She says the whole family had been worried about him since they hadn't heard from him for a week. Sheila tells Kyle to tell her what's happened as it's obvious something's wrong.
Summer tells Jade she's come to get more material for her article. Jade tells her she should have booked in, as there's now no- one to partner her. Chris arrives and Jade says that's lucky - they can partner up!
Summer and Chris tell each other they don't want to partner up, but they don't want to leave. They ask Jade for another partner, but she refuses as it's too late, so they agree. However, they argue during the exercise routines and Jade throws them out.
Sheila tells Kyle he can't stay at the yard in the middle of winter. Kyle wants to eat somewhere else since Kate is there, but Sheila insists. Kate is organising a visit from the real estate agent. She tells Sheila she is moving in with Paul. Sheila says it's good she will be near Kyle. Kate is annoyed and says that Kyle is really upset and they don't have any future together. Sheila looks thoughtful.
Community Centre - comic swap meet
While Ed is off trying to sell his comics, Tash hears Toadie buying something for Callum. She is browsing through some comics. The stallholder asks if she is looking for fantasy or romance.
TASH: Romance? I thought this was all about guys in their underwear shooting each other with laser guns.
The stallholder recommends a comic to her: Beautiful Chaos. She reads the blurb, and starts to open the plastic cover. He says that it's a first edition and it costs $190. He insists that when "you open it, you own it", which was on a sign by the door. Tash replies that the sign was tiny and that she is not going to pay. Toadie walks up and says they should calm down, as Tash and the man continue to argue. He says that he's calling the police and the other stallholders block Tash's path as she tries to leave. Toadie tells her that legally she has to pay. Ed comes in and says he will pay. Tash thanks him.
Tash insists on getting the drinks and tells Ed he was really great.
TASH: It's like I had my own personal Luke Skywalker. He's a Jedi, by the way. From Tatooine.
ED: Did you just Google that?
ED: Did you? Give me the phone.
TASH: (laughs) OK! All right. Yes!
Chris and Andrew come in. Andrew tells Tash and Ed that Summer and Chris got thrown out of bootcamp. Andrew asks Ed how the app is going and Ed says they did a lot of work on the interface. Tash says actually they went to a comic swap meet. Andrew asks how it was and Ed says it was "beautiful chaos" which leaves Andrew puzzled.
Kyle says he is not hungry. Sheila says he has to eat. Kyle watches as Jade comes in and puts in a big order. Sheila wonders where she puts it all and Kyle says it's because she's a fitness freak. Sheila says running is bad for your knees. Kyle says Jade was magic.
Sheila comes in to see Jade, who asks if she could take Kyle's washing. Jade tells Sheila she got what she wanted - Kyle and her are over. Sheila said she was wrong, and Jade says it's a bit late. Sheila says that Kyle is missing her, and asks hasn't she ever made a mistake. Jade says going out with Kyle was a mistake and she's never going back. As she says it, she finds Kyle's favourite T shirt which has shrunk in the tumble dryer. She's upset, because she'd bought it for him in Sydney. She tells Sheila to leave, then sighs and looks upset.
Dial- a- Kyle
Sheila comes into the office with Kyle's washing and tells him he's still in with a chance. Jade was in tears when she found one of his T- shirts. Although he'd ruined it, that was a small price to pay for finding out she still wanted to be with him. Kyle asked if she'd said that. Sheila said no, but she could tell.
KYLE: You should butt out.
SHEILA: You should man up!
Sheila told Kyle that he shouldn't be moping around. He should be doing something to win Jade back.
