- Chris tells Summer she's a rubbish friend by slating her in 'Dear Sally'
- Sheila tries to make amends for her part in splitting up Kyle and Jade
Dial-A-Kyle
Sheila brings Kyle's bag of clothes back to him at the yard, and rifles through it to find something he can wear to impress Jade. Kyle's all but given up, convinced Jade hates him, and tells Sheila that Jade isn't interested in being romanced. Sheila tries to spur him on, telling him Jade misses him and insisting he puts a smart shirt on.
Charlie's
Ajay passes around leaflets to potential voters, in preparation for the council elections. Karl and Andrew turn up: Karl explains Andrew's come up with a great idea to promote the Right Prescription. They want to film a promotional video to send to potential venues, which will involve Ajay taking two hours' break from his campaign. Ajay is reluctant, as it's the day before the election, but they manage to convince him anyway.
Erinsborough News
Summer goes into Susan's office to collect some files and finds Paul sitting at her desk. She's researching the election, but Paul says they have more experienced staff covering it and tells her to stick to the digital stuff. Paul also asks about 'Dear Sally', and Summer says she wants to give it a rest. But Paul says it's generating a lot of interest and that he expects to see it again tomorrow.
Lassiter's Complex
Kyle is looking for flowers outside Harold's as Sonya walks by. When challenged, he admits he's looking for something for Jade, who doesn't even like flowers - but Sonya tells him the gesture might help, and advises him to keep fighting to win her back. Sonya takes him down to the nursery to help him pick out something suitable.

Kyle has set up a vase of flowers on the table with a card, and sprinkled rose petals all around. He worries it's too much, but Sheila thinks it's perfect - and has brought Bossy along, with a ribbon, as the finishing touch. Kyle's very unsure about the Bossy aspect, but Sheila insists it's a good plan, and the two of them leave the house.
Harold's
Summer is typing frantically at her laptop, an oppressed look on her face. Karl saunters over and asks how it's going - and she begins picking his brains for tips on 'Dear Sally'. Karl recalls the time he had his own column and says he used to be quite good at the responses - he adds that Susan thinks the column is great. Summer admits Chris is the one who has been writing it, however, and now they've fallen out she's stuck. Karl comments that she ought to be more worried about her friendship with Chris than the deadline, and leaves her to it.
No 26
Jade arrives home to find absolute carnage: Bossy has ripped up all the flowers and has left an additional surprise behind the sofa. She then finds the card from Kyle, asking if they can meet at three so he can take her somewhere special. Bossy looks sheepish.
Lassiter's Complex
Jade marches up to Kyle with Bossy, handing her back to him. She tells him what happened and asks him to stay away from her. Kyle asks why she didn't respond to the card, even with a text, but Jade is unrepentant, saying she has nothing more to say to him. Kyle begs her not to write him off, and says he'd take back the kiss if he could. He tells Jade he loves her, and just needs another chance - but she tells him she owes him $60 dollars for the client she had to cancel to clear up the mess at home, and walks off tearfully.

Karl and Ajay are recording their promo video: Chris is filming them while they perform a song, and Andrew is watching. Andrew's not impressed with Karl's finishing flourish, and they begin another take while the camera's still rolling. At which point the mayor, Thomas Armstrong, rings Ajay's mobile. Ajay ignores the call, saying the mayor's a windbag and that it'll only be about the election anyway, so it can wait. Summer walks in, and Andrew suggests she give Chris a hand - but he makes it clear he doesn't want her help, so Summer heads back to the office until they're finished.
Harold's
Jade is buying cleaning products to help get the remains of Bossy's surprise off the carpet, and she runs into Sonya - who admits she knew about Kyle's gesture and helped him with the flower arrangement. Jade's not impressed, and tells Sonya it's over between her and Kyle. Sonya reminds her of how she acted when Kyle first told her he liked her - running off with Malcolm Kennedy - and then again when Troy came back, pushing Kyle away. Sonya agrees it doesn't excuse Kyle's behaviour...
SONYA: But sometimes you are not the easiest person to love. And the rest of us, Kyle included - we're only human.
Sonya leaves Jade to ponder her advice.
Erinsborough News
Summer gets an email from Andrew containing the footage they've just filmed of Karl and Ajay. Paul creeps up behind her and they both have a laugh at the video, but while they're talking about 'Dear Sally' Paul overhears the footage of Ajay calling the mayor a windbag and ignoring his call, while the camera was still rolling. Realising Paul is watching with interest, Summer starts panicking and turns the video off. She makes excuses and Paul backs off - but later, after she finishes work, Paul cancels her computer's shutdown and logs back in.
Harold's
Summer eats dinner while discussing 'Dear Sally' and the Chris situation with Karl. Summer tells him Andrew sent the promo footage to her by email.
SUMMER: He knew he was having a bad day, so I think he wanted to make me laugh... Smile!
She offers to show Karl the footage; Ajay has just walked in to deliver more leaflets. He offers one to a young man, Jack, who asks him what is policy is on underage voting, revealing he's not eighteen yet - Ajay suggests he might get his dad to vote for him instead. As Karl and Ajay gather around Summer's laptop, the three of them are shocked to see an article on the front page of the Erinsborough News website, headlined: 'Would you vote for this slacker?' - complete with an embedded video clip of the footage of Ajay calling the mayor a windbag! Summer realises what's happened, as Ajay takes a call from an angry councillor.
Charlie's
Kyle tells Sheila he's stuffed up again, and that Jade doesn't give a damn. She tells him it's not all his fault, and admits that she might have had something to do with it - explaining how she encouraged Kate to keep trying to win Kyle. She apologises, but Kyle is furious. He gets up to leave, and Sheila tries to apologise again, but he doesn't want to hear it. He tells her it is over between him and Jade, and tells Sheila to go back to Frankston and stay there for a while - because proper family wouldn't do what she's done. She says she'll go, but begs him not to give up on Jade.
No 26
Jade reads Kyle's card again, and puts it in her pocket for safe-keeping.
Today's closing credits dedicate the episode in memory of Shaun Wilson-Miller (1995-2012), who made a special appearance as Jack Taylor.
