Number 24
Kate reacquaints herself with her home... a home minus her sister and no birthday cards other than the one from Harry. She then spots the Port Douglas fridge magnets and has a brainwave!

Lassiters Complex
Tash is trying to persuade Michael to buy her new shoes when they run into Emilia and she pleads for her aunt to help persuade her dad. She leaves to look at the shoes in the hope that Michael will change his mind and as the duo are chatting Lucas comes up and interrupts them with a kiss for Emilia. She isn't exactly reciprocating the kiss and Michael decides three's a crowd and heads off to see Tash, so Lucas invites her round to share the food he's just bought from the farmers market.

Number 24
Lucas seems worried that Emilia is quiet but she just says she is tired. He goes to kiss her but she gets a flashback to pashing Michael instead. Lou arrives home and spots the feast Lucas has laid out and thinks it's as a welcome home treat for him!

Number 28
Summer gets official confirmation she's been kicked off her Uni course and now wonders what direction her life will take. Andrew suggests applying for another course and Chris that she repeating year 12. Both those suggestions are rejected by Summer so Andrew then suggests going for a cadetship, which Sum doesn't think will happen as she hasn't got a degree. "If you really want this, you'll find a way," are Chris' parting words before he goes off to meet Aidan.

Number 24
Lucas brings Lou up to date on what has been happening lately. Likewise he tells them about how he injured himself and is now wearing a neck collar. Lucas does a deal with him (he'll do his washing) to get some alone time with Emilia but then she bails on him citing she's got stuff to do.

Number 28
Summer makes some calls enquiring about cadetships but it's the same answer all round - no degree = no cadetship.

Number 22
Sum tells Andrew about the calls she made and the result. "Maybe I should just give up," she mutters but Andrew tells her not to - it's not her style and reassures her she can do it.

Lassiters Complex
Sum catches Chris for his advice when she spots him as he cuts through the complex but his mind is more on his date with Aidan.

Number 24
Lucas isn't amused at Lou tucking into his food and making him run around like his slave! He then notices Lou moving his neck around with no pain (his collar is making him itch) and decides to see how bad his injury actually is by creeping up and scaring him. Right enough Lou jumps into the air immediately and Lucas' theory is proved correct - Lou is faking it!

LUCAS: You're bunging the whole thing on.

It then dawns on him that he's already washed Lou's undies too! Lou comes clean with Lucas - he's planning on conning the insurance assessors even if the injury was genuine initially, he's just pushing it a bit more! Lucas thinks he won't get away with it, so Lou has a go at him for over why he has to take this course of action (he thought he'd be rolling in it having sold Dial-a-Kyle to the developers). Lucas agrees to keep quiet in return for having the house to himself for the afternoon, so he calls Emilia and asks if she wants to come back for dessert.

(Later)

Emilia is back but isn't exactly tempted by the offer of dessert. Lucas suggests some other "activities" I.e. bedroom ones but is then shattered to hear Emilia tell him that it's over. She cites that he's more into them than she is as her reason for dumping him.

EMILIA: You should be with someone who can give as much as you do.
LUCAS: What if I don't want to be with anyone else?

"I'm sorry," Emilia says before about turning and leaving the house.

Ramsay Street
Tash spots Emilia as she heads to her car after leaving #24 and shows off the stuff she, well Michael bought. Tash leaves to take her stuff inside and Michael invites Emilia over but she says no, however he leaves the invitation open in case she changes her mind.

Charlie's
Kate and Lou are catching up when Rhys comes over to see if the rumour is true - that Kate is back and to see if Lou's injury is real remembering what happened not so long ago! Lou assures him it is real and decides a bit of rest is in order. Rhys then gives Kate a bit of stick for keeping quiet about her birthday (Lou mentioned it before he departed) so she tells him either to buy her a birthday drink or rack off! "What will it be then?" he replies and Kate says a bottle of top shelf champagne.

KATE: Well you offered!

(Later)

Kate tells Rhys about what she got up to in Port Douglas but refuses to spill on her holiday romance!

Jade and Kyle come over to see what Rhys wants for dinner (they are doing take away) but he tells them he's heading into town to check a club out. They head to the bar and Rhys has another dig at Kate for the duo blanking her totally, not even wishing her a happy birthday let alone inviting her for dinner. Rhys then taunts her by saying she'd turn him down if he invited her to the club and it looks like she is going to do that until she turns round and sees the duo at the bar then says yes to coming with him!

Lassiters Complex
Summer gives Kate a welcome back hug when she spots Kate/Rhys leaving Charlie's. Kate is really appreciative of the welcome given she isn't exactly Miss Popular and Sum empathises with her and explains why.

RHYS: What a pair of rebels!

Rhys then dishes out his own version of sympathy to the pair of them, so Kate shoves him in the direction of finding a taxi before he offends more people! Sum though, looks to have taken his words to heart.

Ramsay Street
Sum approaches Michael to ask his thoughts on her repeating Year 12. "Seriously!" Andrew says (he crept up on her) and Michael approves of her plan, subject to Priya approving it. "You thought this through?" he asks and Sum replies that she has. "I'll see you at school tomorrow then," Michael says to her before heading inside.

Andrew quizzes her on whether it's the right thing to do also but Sum is definite this is what's best.
