Kate telling Sophie that she knows about Noah
Sophie tells Kate it's not true about Noah, and Kate just wants them to sit down and talk about it. But Sophie isn't happy – it's not true so there's nothing to talk about. Midway through argument they get interrupted.
LOU: SURPRISE! Haha…How about a cuddle off your old…
Lou holds his arms out, looks at Sophie and mutters “strewth”, before offering her a hug again. Sophie storms off
KATE: Welcome home.
Andrew has another car order and is checking with Chris it's alright – even though he's already taken the money. The cleaner tells them to get their feet off the table. In walks Paul and Andrew lies about them doing an essay. Chris wonders why he lied and Andrew says “Because he'll think it's just another get rich quick scheme”. Which it is.
Michael leaves the house, warning Tash not to spend too much money when she's out shopping. Tash tells Chris she doesn't think she's ready to meet her Aunt. Which is just as well, because the salon phone to say they need to cancel her appointment.
Tash is confused – who works at a salon AND does freelance? Chris says she can always make another appointment but Tash doesn't think there's time, not with VCE's and her dad being on her case. Tash comes up with a plan – they're going to crash the photo shoot, and Chris is going to phone the salon pretending to be a lost model to get the address. He looks really unimpressed with that idea.
Lou predicts that Kate and Sophie's trouble is related to boy- trouble. Kate says it is, but it's not like Sophie was with Zeke – she's fallen hard this time. Sophie appears to say she's going out. Kate encourages her to stay and talk to Lou, who has brought her back a present from his trip, but Sophie looks unimpressed at the skipping rope and leaves.
Tash thinks Chris is perfect for being a model – he's good looking and gay.
CHRIS: Not over the phone I'm not.
Tash begs him to call up and pretend to be a lost model to get the address and hands him the phone. He makes the call and gets the address.
Sophie daydreams that she'll walk in and Noah will compliment her and then on her nose piercing (or “silverware”), want to take a closer look and then kiss her. The reality is she walks in to set up her bass and he near enough ignores her.
Chris is looking for a bus to take them to meet Tash's aunt – it'd take 40mins, which Tash points out is not even the length of an episode of Glee. She's getting nervous about stuffing up, but Chris reassures her it'll be fine. Andrew pulls up and tells Chris to get started on this car he's got for their client, he wants to deliver today for extra cash. Chris says he can't – him and Tash are going shopping. Andrew can't believe it – a chance to make money! Tash says she'll be fine and encourages him to go put his overalls on.
The cleaner finds a bit of paper in the sofa. She comments to Paul that he has a very interesting filing system.
CLEANER: ‘C' for couch, ‘C' for car. I suppose it's logical.
PAUL: It's not mine
CLEANER: Next time ‘B' for ‘bin' – also logical.
The music they're playing sounds pretty good to me – Sophie looks longingly at Noah throughout.
Lou can't believe Kate let the Sophie/Noah thing go on for so long. Kate says Noah knows and wouldn't do anything to hurt Sophie.
Noah tells everyone they did a good job. They all pack up. Sophie asks him if she did a good job, and did he like the improvising she did. Noah says he didn't notice.
Kate doesn't understand – when she was Sophie's age she never had a crush like this – certainly not one big enough to get her nose pierced! Lou reassures her she'll get better at the parental stuff. Kate wonders if it'll be before or after Sophie gets her heart broken.
Sophie overhears Noah saying to one of the boys that he thinks they could do with more guitarists as more improvisation is needed.
Michael walks in and listens to the messages on the phone. A lady says she is returning Tash's call and is sorry that she doesn't know any “Jovanovic” and they are no relation to her. Michael looks stunned.
Kate wishes she could slow down the growing up process. Sophie walks in and Kate asks if she wants to join them, Sophie says they don't want to talk to her, only about her – and storms off.
Paul goes to see the boys who are downstairs. He shows them the paper that the cleaner found. He acts angry telling Andrew that he's wasting Chris' time. But he changes his tune quickly and thinks it's an excellent idea and Andrew is beginning to learn – as long as his house isn't filled with unwashed Europeans. He shakes his hand and congratulated him on his good work.
PAUL: Oh, and Freckles? I'd hate to think that this makes me any less intimidating.
CHRIS: No, Mr Robinson.
Kate opens the door to Noah, who brings Kate a lead that Sophie left behind. Kate invites him in to talk about Sophie, who he says was “off spectrum today”. Kate thanks him for how he is handling things with Sophie. Noah compliments her – saying that he thinks she's doing a good job.
Michael is frantically searching for Tash. He tries calling her.
Tash wanders down a corridor and blocks Michael's call.
Paul tries to talk to Michael, who pretty much blanks him
Tash spots Aunt Emilia.
Emilia walks past her, stops, turns and tells her to find an empty station and sit down. Oh, and fill out her release. Tash does so, and smiles at Emelia, who smiles back.
