Number 30
Sonya stumbles through the house in her pyjamas wondering why Toadie's up and dressed so early, but Toadie just wants to make sure he's nice and early for his first day at work. Sonya gives Toadie a mixed CD she made him for the drive and wishes him luck, just as Callum wanders out to return Toadie's phone he left in his room. When Toadie leaves Sonya asks Callum what he did to the phone, but Callum protests his innocence.
Toadie's Car
The drive's already off to a bad start when Toadie finds himself stuck in the middle of some roadworks. He fiddles with his tie and listens to the radio for a bit before deciding to put on the CD from Sonya. Toadie finally cracks a smile when one of his favourite songs start to play.
Number 26
Kyle informs Jade that Michelle was up at the crack of dawn rearranging the kitchen and that she's, "worse than Brenno". Jade tries to take Michelle's side by saying that she's just being efficient, but Kyle still thinks she needs to leave. Michelle joins them and tests Jade's patience by taking away her cereal and telling her they should have smoothies for breakfast instead. Kyle escapes while Michelle starts to tell Jade her smoothie story.
Lassiter's Park
And poor Jade is still hearing the story all through her personal training session with Michelle. Rather than listen to Jade's instructions, Michelle yammers on and on about her date tonight and asks if she can wear the dress Jade had on last week. Jade finally cracks and gruffly informs her housemate that she doesn't 'do' girly chats and just wants to focus on the workout. Michelle pouts a bit before apologising and agreeing to listen, before dropping down to do some push- ups.
Toadie's Car
Stuck in a traffic standstill, Toadie switches off the CD just in time to hear a news report on the radio letting him know the road he's travelling on is blocked for miles. Stressed, Toadie calls the office to let them know he'll be running late. He groans in annoyance when there's a flash of police lights behind him - they saw him on his phone.
Simmons and Colbert Law Firm
Toadie finally makes it into work, just in time to crash a staff meeting in the boardroom. He apologises profusely to Peter Noonan for being late, mentioning the traffic and getting a fine from the cops, but proceeds to interrupt the meeting further by bumbling to his seat, squeaking around in his chair and then filling the room with the sound of a mooing cow - a new ringtone Callum set for him. Mortified, Toadie quickly stops it from ringing.
PETER: Can I continue?
TOADIE: Please, moooove on.
PETER: ... After the meeting I think you and I should have a word.
TOADIE: (quiet) Yep.
First Commercial Break
Simmons and Colbert Law Firm
The meeting adjourns and Peter keeps Toadie back for their chat. Peter's quite understanding, but also lets Toadie know that when they get to work they need to leave their personal lives at the door and remain professional. Toadie promises Peter that today was just a blip and he'll be the ultimate employee from now on. Peter adds that he'll get the company to set Toadie's car up with a hands- free so he doesn't receive anymore fines. As they're leaving, Toadie gets an incoming call from Sonya but has to hang up on her to follow Peter to the next meeting.
Erinsborough High
Lucas informs Callum and Sophie that he's filling in for the woodwork teacher today and to spread the word. The kids get into another one of their music vs woodwork class battles and Sophie brings up how good Noah is at guitar, but Callum reckons he's a try- hard. Sophie begs to differ and makes Cal slightly jealous when she says they're actually playing guitars in class today. Cal pretends not to care.
But Sophie shouldn't have gloated so soon - turns out the guitar lesson is more 'Guitar 101' than 'Guitar Hero' as their teacher, Molly, very slowly goes through all the chords with them. Sophie's itching to learn a song but Molly says they're taking baby steps. Callum watches from the doorway and mocks Sophie.
Harold's Store
Kyle sidles up to Jade and asks her where the Klingon (aka Michelle) has got to. Jade tries to pretend that Michelle hasn't bugged her all morning.
JADE: She's really not that bad, you just have to learn how to handle her.
KYLE: Yeah well Captain Kirk had a laser gun. (Off her blank look) For the Klingons?
JADE: ... Right.
While they're chatting, Paul pushes in line to purchase his big stack of Tim Tams and other Australian- made stuff (he's off to New York later this week to visit Elle and Donna and is bringing them supplies). Paul is privy to their conversation and says if they want to sort an issue out with someone they need to be direct - setting 'ground rules' is the wimp's way out. Jade lets them know she's already sorted everything out with Michelle and walks off, leaving Kyle stuck in line behind Paul.
PAUL: Not in a hurry are you?
KYLE: (sarcastic) Nah.
Toadie's Car/Number 30
Toadie's stuck in yet more traffic on the way home when he gets a call from Sonya. Not used to his new hands- free device, he accidentally hangs up on her first before they're able to chat. Second time around, Sonya asks how his day went and says she can't wait to see him at home. When Toadie hangs up he immediately gets a call from Peter, who is making sure he got all the important files from their PA. Toadie says he isn't sure what ones Peter wants him to read tonight, but his eyes nearly bug out of his head when Peter says all of them (there is a massive stack to get through). Hanging up, Toadie starts to wonder what he got himself in for.
Second Commercial Break
Number 30
Sonya and Callum excitedly pounce on Toadie when he walks through the door, but Toadie is laden with piles of work. They ask how his day went and if his workmates love him, so Toadie tells a white lie and says that they do (aside from the interruptions and farm animal sounds I guess). Sonya and Callum go into the kitchen to get dinner ready while Toadie slowly walks to his room with all his work.
Lassiter's Complex
Paul finds Sophie strumming away at her guitar (on loan from the school) because Kate got annoyed with her constantly playing it in the store. Sophie doesn't think she's making much progress, but Paul tells her to stick with it and leaves her a few coins as if she were busking (before clumsily walking into a chair as he exits the scene). Noah just happens to walk past and gives Sophie a few tips on what chords she should learn first, before tuning her guitar to make it sound better. He calls her a "rockstar" before leaving. Sophie looks chuffed.
Number 30 - Toadie and Sonya's Bedroom
Toadie's fast asleep on the bed, surrounded by papers, when Sonya finds him. She gently takes a highlighter out of his hands and drapes a blanket over him before tip- toeing out of the room with a whispered "I love you".
Number 26
Jade's 'everything is fine with Michelle' stance falls in a heap when Michelle parades around the kitchen in one of Jade's dresses. Smirking, Kyle leaves them to chat while Jade lets Michelle know in no uncertain terms that they are flatmates, not besties. The only things they share are the house and the bills! Baffled by Jade's angry tone, Michelle gets upset and starts to cry, not knowing what she's done wrong.
Third Commercial Break
Number 26
Full moon stock shot for all you moon gazers out there. Jade and Kyle are watching TV while they wait for Michelle to get home from her date (not knowing who she's out with). Kyle still thinks they should just chuck Michelle out, but Jade thinks that if they tell her exactly what bugs them, they'll get everything sorted. That plan goes to hell, though, when Michelle gets home with her date - who just happens to be Lucas. Kyle and Jade swap weary looks.

(Tomorrow on Neighbours)
JADE: We can't kick a mate's girlfriend out of the house.
KYLE: They've had one date. Trust me, she's not his girlfriend.
(But Kyle might just be wrong...)
LUCAS: Michelle thinks you guys are awesome by the way. She can't stop raving about you, or the house.
KYLE: Yeah well we think she's great too.
(Quick cut to Kyle and Jade at home)
KYLE: She's still gotta go.
(Callum doesn't like Sophie and Noah hanging out)
CALLUM: Please tell me this is not Zeke all over again.
(Meanwhile, Chris looks set for more career woes with his dad)
