Number 32/Number 28
At Number 32, Michael and Tash have returned home and commence a yelling match. Michael is livid that Tash was at a nightclub and kissing a man far too old for her while Tash insists that she herself wasn't drinking so she wasn't doing anything wrong.
NATASHA: You're treating me like a child!
MICHAEL: Because you are one!
Natasha is angrier when she finds out that it was Andrew and Summer who busted her and she vows never to forgive them. Mike points out that she'll have no friends but she retorts that Ivan is her friend. Michael confiscates Natasha's phone until the morning and bans her from seeing Ivan again.
Meanwhile Summer and Andrew are discussing whether telling Michael was the right thing to do. Summer is confident that it was because they should be looking out for Tash but Andrew is unsure because Natasha is old enough to make her own decisions.
Outside Number 28
Susie is on the phone with her youngest born, Bill (yay for a Billy mention!) who has just gotten a big contract so it's congratulations all around. As Summer heads off to school, she looks confused when Susan tells her that she got new curtains to help her feel more at home. After Summer leaves, Karl seems unsure that the room needed new curtains and looks unimpressed all round.
Charlie's
Harold is relaying the details of his honeymoon to a bored looking Lou when Karl joins them and comments that it sounded great.
HAROLD: And you know what, in between being pampered, she actually talked a couple of the Cafés into stocking her tea.
LOU: A working honeymoon? You really should question that woman's priorities.
HAROLD: Lou, she was being enterprising. I thought you of all people would have been impressed!
Karl longs for a trip away to somewhere tranquil, away from teenagers and their choice of music.
Ramsay Street
Susan catches Mike before he leaves for school (with a grumpy Tash) and gives him some books to take to Summer. Mike takes a look at them and he knows that she doesn't have media that day (very diligent principal?!), but Susan suggests that perhaps Sum would want to study from them anyway. Susan also wants to organise a parent- teacher meeting which Mike initially dismisses as unnecessary because Summer is a great student, but Susan wants one anyway so that she knows what's going on because Lyn is entrusting her with Sum.
Lassiter's Complex
Paul is harassing Susan to do a story about Toadie/Troy because he heard that punches were thrown, but Susan is not willing to put Toad's life on the front page.
PAUL: I could try Callum.
SUSAN: Don't you dare!
PAUL: No, you're right, he's too expensive to bribe.
He leaves for a meeting after trading a reluctant greeting with Karl. Karl has come to ask Susan to go away with him for a holiday but she's reluctant to because of how busy work is and looking after Summer. He looks irritated.
Erinsborough High - Hallway
Chris, Summer and Andrew are talking about Natasha being desperate for someone to hang out with, just as she walks up behind them.
ANDREW: Being friends with Tash only works for her. She's centre of attention at all times.
NATASHA: Don't hold back, tell me what you really think!
Andrew and Summer tell Tash that Ivan is a sleaze but Tash tells them off for ruining the only good thing that she had going for her.
Erinsborough High - Classroom
Natasha is first one in class which Summer teases her for. Sum points out that deep down, Natasha knows that Ivan is bad news which is why she kept him hidden from everyone. Natasha takes this the wrong way and goes to make a phone call to organise a proper meeting between Ivan and her father.
Erinsborough High - Hallway
Tash is trying to convince Ivan to meet her dad over a coffee and predictably he is not willing. Michael strolls down the hall and Natasha tries to get her father to give Ivan a chance since he's a nice guy, has a job, has a car and doesn't have a police record.
MICHAEL: Yeah, you're right, I don't know this guy. And I don't plan to. The answer's no.
Harold's Store
Michael gives Summer her books and clues her in about the upcoming parent- teacher meeting with Susan. Sum doesn't think it's necessary either, but she's OK with it if Susan thinks it is. After she's gone, the eavesdropping Karl approaches Michael to question whether he has a problem with the parent- teacher thing, but while unusual, it isn't a problem. Talk turns to Mike's teenage daughter problems and Karl confides that Libby once saw an older man when she was 17.
KARL: Just from my experience, hating him, keeping them apart is likely to make her want him more.
Mike takes this on board.
Erinsborough High - Hallway
Michael sees Tash in the hallway and she thinks he's about to lecture her about going straight home after school, but instead he wants to have lunch with Ivan at Charlie's. There are confused looks on the faces of Summer, Andrew and Chris who are eavesdropping in the background. Chris and Andrew want to see the potential fireworks but Summer would rather they left Tash alone. Natasha calls Ivan who is still unwilling to meet with Mike. She cons him into it by asking him out for lunch at Charlie's.
Charlie's
Tash and Ivan arrive, and Mike follows not long after. Ivan isn't interested in talking to Michael but Tash begs him to stay for 10 minutes. As Mike gets Ivan a beer, he looks disapprovingly over at Ivan sleazing on Tash. Tash tries to hard sell Ivan and she begins to tell her father about Ivan working in gardening.
NATASHA: Ivan's been working there for...how long?
IVAN: Since I dropped out of school.
Probably not the best impression to give a school principal.
MICHAEL: Let's just get to it. See, I don't care where you work, what you do, if you finished school or not. What I want to know is, what the hell could you possibly want from a seventeen year old child?
Ivan smirks and leaves and Natasha is annoyed, but Michael is equally as annoyed that Tash thinks it's OK to hang out with a guy like that.
Outside Number 28
Susan leaves the house with some dry cleaning and Summer, arriving home from school, notices that some of it is hers. She's thankful, but she wants Susan to know that she's capable of looking after herself and pretty much tells Susan that she's smothering her. Susan apologises and looks hurt.
Number 28
Realising that she's upset Susan, Summer is making an apology- curry.
SUMMER: I shouldn't have snapped like that.
ANDREW: Sounds like she had it coming.
That's not nice. Karl arrives home and is impressed by the smells of dinner and he sees Summer stressing out a little so he leaves them alone while he goes to get a bottle of wine to go with the "fine dinner".
Outside Harold's Store
Susan sees Lou reading the paper and Lou complains about having heard more than enough about the honeymoon.
LOU: Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for old Jelly Belly. But truth be known, I could do with a bit of action myself.
He says its slim pickings at his age. Karl creeps up behind them and Lou leaves them to it. Susan feels terrible for smothering Summer but Karl lets her know that Summer feels bad too. Susan wants to visit Billy and the grandkids and Karl is visibly annoyed that she's willing to take time off work for that (although she counters that she would could be working and sending down articles while up there) and not to holiday with him. She promises to sort something out with him upon her return.
Number 32
Michael approaches Tash for a serious chat despite her trying to give him the silent treatment by pretending to listen to music. Natasha defends her decision to hang out with Ivan because he pays attention to her.
MICHAEL: Life isn't about having anyone and everyone pay attention to you. Why don't you try being the one who pays attention, for a change?
He tells her that she needs to spend time with her real friends and not look for a distraction like Ivan. She complains that when she tries, she gets blown off but he tells her to try harder. It looks like he's getting to her a little but you can never be sure with Natasha.
Number 32
Commercial break over, Tash checks her Facebook between doing homework. She messages Chris who is unable to hang out because he has practice, and she sees via update that Summer is hanging out with Andrew over the Alien box set. It looks like that's as far as she's planning to go in terms of trying so she texts Ivan and asks if he wants to hang out.

ANDREW: What about Ivan?
NATASHA: What about him?
ANDREW: You haven't tried to call him? Not even a text?
NATASHA: I've thought about it, but I didn't.
(Natasha and Summer are looking at the picture of Ivan and Natasha on Natasha's phone)
SUMMER: Delete it. You can do it.
(Natasha meets Ivan in his car)
NATASHA: About time you messaged me back. Did you miss me?
IVAN: Yeah, what do you reckon?
(Kyle looks at envelopes probably containing bills)
KYLE: I smashed it with my budget. Every time I start to get ahead, bang! It's gone. This is all Lou's fault.
(Kyle confronts Lou at Number 24)
KYLE: I want a raise.
LOU: Well you could earn more if you sold more cars!
KYLE: Let's see you prove you're better than me. A contest. If I sell more cars than you, I get my raise.
MARK: Yeah, but what if you lose?
(Harold, Carolyn and Lou talk about the contest)
LOU: Maybe this is a lesson he needs.
CAROLYN: Maybe the lesson's for you. Ever thought the kid might win?
