Lassiter's Lake/Lassiter's Complex
There's a lovely shot of the blue sky as Declan and Kate walk along the bridge. Kate laments that she shouldn't have lied for Rebecca and Declan apologises for having dragged her into it. Kate states that it doesn't change anything and Declan doesn't have a reply to that so he leaves. Kate looks at the necklace that Mark gave her while Sophie strolls up to her. Kate seems to have forgotten that Sophie told her she'd be at the hospital and Sophie teases that Kate was “too smoochy” with Mark to remember. Kate is annoyed and tells Soph that they should go home.
As they walk towards Lassiter's Complex, Sophie asks Kate to visit Andrew but Kate makes excuses not to. Sophie twigs on that Kate is still avoiding Paul but Kate refuses to talk about it. Donna walks out of Harold's and Kate tells her that Mark is choosing between herself or the case. Donna wants to take Kate to a yoga class to clear her head – no, Donna has never done it either, but how hard can it be?
DONNA: Come on, forget men, get some zen!
Donna starts to have second thoughts about yoga when she sees very flexible people stretching on the wall and she's surprised that Kate can do stretches like that too (because of her dancing background). They bump into Lucas who then bumps into Jade and there are introductions. As it turns out, Jade is teaching the power yoga class – “power” yoga meaning it is a little more challenging and Donna says she is up for the challenge! …but really doesn't look it. Jade tries to rope Lucas into taking the class too but he declines.
Rebecca has come straight to the hospital from the airport but Declan's worried that she will see Paul around. She expects that she will eventually anyway, as well as Brennan who's been asking questions about the case. She apologises that Dec's mixed up with the whole situation as well as Kate as it's not fair on them. Declan fills her in on the living arrangements (Summer and Lyn are staying at No. 32 with Tash) and Bec is confused as to why Michael is in hospital. Paul walks in and joins them with friendly chatter to Rebecca who isn't quite as friendly in return. He wants to talk, she doesn't, so he leads her to Andrew's room but as he walks off, Rebecca asks Declan again about Michael. Dec tells her that Mike was a hero, and he's pretty banged up. Bec is concerned but hiding it, and meanwhile Indy's been such a good quiet little girl in Rebecca's arms!
Kate has been distracted from thinking about Brennan right up until Donna asks whether the yoga is stopping her from thinking about Brennan! Jade takes the class into more advanced yoga postures and Kate is enjoying herself while Donna is looking quite frazzled. She looks a little unsteady, earning concern from both Jade and Kate, but she insists she's fine. 3 seconds later she collapses down on her mat and tells Kate it would be easier on her if Kate would just sort out her man issues!
Bec is looking through the window at Michael who's asleep in his room. Paul saunters over wanting to have that talk, but Rebecca doesn't think there's much to say. Nothing about their situation has changed and she's annoyed that he threatened Kate. Andrew is now the priority and Rebecca practically rejects Paul's offer to have the talk later. He leaves while Rebecca takes one last look at Mike before leaving too.
Donna is walking gingerly and in pain after their yoga session. They bump into Jade who's glad to hear that they enjoyed the class. She offers to sign them up for the rest of the term and Kate eagerly nods before Donna catches her eye. Kate changes her ‘yes' to a ‘no' with the excuse that Donna's moving to New York. Jade invites them out for a drink since Sonya's at work and they agree to meet at Charlies.
Sophie appears again to tell Kate to go to the hospital. Kate is still reluctant but Sophie has a go at her and tells her to just get over whatever problems she had with Uncle Paul because Andrew is their cousin and they should see him.
The convincing Sophie seems to have worked a charm as she and Kate stroll into the hospital. Rebecca is just coming out of Andrew's room and says that they are welcome to see him. When Kate hears that Paul is with Andrew she doesn't move and Soph goes in without her. Rebecca apologises that Kate's relationship with Brennan was compromised because of her and speak of the devil, Mark walks in to ask Rebecca some questions. Kate takes it to mean that he's chosen the case over her.
Erinsborough Hospital - Exterior
Paul thanks Kate for coming to the hospital but she didn't do it for him. As he reaches for her arm to stop her from walking away, Declan walks out like her bodyguard and asks if everything is OK. Paul thanks Kate again and walks back into the hospital. Dec questions Kate about Brennan and she blurts out that she's an idiot for thinking Brennan would care more for her than his job. Dec reaches out for her arms as Brennan walks out (these guys have got awesome timing) and tells Kate that they have to talk later. Kate tells Dec to look after his mum and he walks back into the hospital while turning back to shoot the evil eye at Brennan's back.
Donna and Jade are playing pool when Kate walks in. Donna wants to know if Kate wants to talk about her issues with Brennan but Jade doesn't want any of it.
JADE: What is this, sleepover club? Sorry, but I don't do girly chats.
Kate agrees that what she needs is a distraction.
Erinsborough Hospital/Michael's Hospital Room
Dec walks back in to find Rebecca staring into Michael's room again. He wants to know how her chat with Brennan went - she thinks it went OK. She tells him that she really enjoyed not worrying when she was in Oakey and she reminisces back to when they first moved to Erinsborough – she thought the hard times were all over and her life was mapped in front of her. She thought Paul was a good man under his bluster, but that turned out to be wrong. Dec assures his mum that they will figure it out before Bec tells him to check on Sophie (who's with India). As soon as he leaves, she sneaks into Mike's room.
She slowly walks towards his bed and reaches for his hand but pulls back and reaches instead for his wallet – the one she gave him – and sees her greeting card still in it as well. She then reaches for his hand and holds it while telling him that she's sorry for going away but she still thought about him. Mike stirs and smiles upon seeing Rebecca by his bedside. She tells him how worried she was when she heard that he was hurt before he quietly says “Paul” to warn Rebecca that Paul was right behind her. She quickly drops Michael's hand and turns around looking a little freaked out.
Michael's Hospital Room
Rebecca is now standing beside Paul explaining that she was thanking Michael. Paul asks Michael about the fire but he doesn't remember much. Paul keeps questioning though, because Susan is writing an article for the paper, but Rebecca keeps trying to tell him to let Michael rest. Paul spots Mike's wallet and picks it up, complimenting him on it and commenting that he wants a new wallet. Rebecca and Michael's hearts probably simultaneously skips a beat but Mike casually says that he bought it as a gift for himself. Before Paul can ask more or open it, Rebecca takes it off him and says they should Michael rest and go back to Andrew. As Paul leaves, Bec tells Michael that she'll be back.
Donna pushes the pool ball in with her hand and claims that it's the “hand rule”. In Erinsborough, if there are less than 3 balls on the table then you can apparently use your hands! Donna denies that she was cheating before sheepishly admitting that she can't lean over the table because she's still in pain. Kate tells Jade that her issue with Brennan is that he thinks he can't handle a full- on career as well as a girlfriend and Jade spots Lucas making his second random appearance before suggesting to the girls that they should do something *really* fun.
Later, we find that they're spinning a lipgloss on the table and playing truth or dare. Jade dares Donna to dak Lucas (that may be Aussie slang, so for those who aren't familiar, she has to pull his pants down). She walks over and asks Lucas, much to his confusion, whether he is wearing underwear. He claims that he is but refuses to show her and is then forced to admit that he isn't.
LUCAS: It's commando day.
DONNA: There's a commando day?
LUCAS: Yeah. I've only got six pairs of undies, so on day seven, I wash and go commando.
Donna is grossed out and he's feeling awkward so they go their separate ways. Donna goes back to the girls and is dared to flash the barman. They agree to do it together, and as they do, Brennan and his boss walk in.
The three girls are seated at a table while Brennan talks to his boss and some patrons in the background trying to convince them to let the girls off with a warning. He seems to have failed though, as he walks over to tell the girls that there's been an official complaint and they need to go down to the station. Detective Brennan goes into cop mode and orders them to either go willingly or be arrested.
