The story so far...

- Mark giving Kate a necklace for Christmas
- Mark realising Kate may have been lying in her statement
- Summer and Andrew agreeing to keep their distance for now
- Lyn telling Summer they're staying with Tash for a while
Ramsay Street
Natasha takes Charlie into #32 so Lyn and Summer can survey the damage to their house. There's barricades out the front preventing them from going inside and visible fire damage across the front window. With solemn looks they follow Natasha to their new temporary home.
Number 24
Donna hugs Kate to death as she struggles through the door with her suitcase. Kate's disgusted that the house has become a bachelor pad during her absence thanks to Lucas and Lou and starts to clean up. Donna's worried that Kate left her sister at the bus stop, but Kate explains that Sophie went straight to the hospital to visit Andrew. Kate discovers she has three messages on the answering machine: one from Mark asking for a chat, one from Donna and one from Declan. Donna then notices Kate's new necklace and says she needs to sort out her troubles with Mark before dropping the bombshell that she's leaving town soon.
Number 32 - Next Morning
Summer watches her Nan bustle around the house, folding laundry and organising dinner. Natasha seems to be enjoying having a mum- figure around the house, but Summer isn't quite as happy playing sleepovers. Especially when Tash starts talking about Andrew and how she'll warn Summer if they need the bedroom for 'alone time'. Sonya drops by with a toy for Charlie and tells Lyn that Toadie's offered to sort out her insurance when he gets back. Lyn squirms and says she hasn't had time to think about it just yet. Sonya asks Tash how she's doing and Tash says she just can't wait for everything to go back to normal. Summer looks guilty for about the hundredth time this week.
Harold's Store
Kate still can't believe Donna's moving overseas, but Donna doesn't want to talk about it in case she cries. She changes the subject and asks Kate to be a clothes model for her this afternoon - she's still got some vintage clothes to sell online. Mark walks in and Donna pushes Kate in his direction. They make small talk before Mark asks her if she could come down to the station for a chat.
Erinsborough Police Station
Mark shows Kate the footage of her giving a statement the night of Paul's accident - more specifically the part where she plays with her locket. Kate can't help turning pale and Mark says that he knows she plays with her necklace when she lies. Kate can only lash out at Mark and try to make him seem like the bad guy. She tells him that she also plays with her necklace when she's nervous, and she had a lot on her mind when that statement was taken. Mark backtracks a bit and says it's just part of his job to ask her these things, but Kate blows up at him and storms out.
First Commercial Break
Lassiter's Complex
Donna finds Kate moping by herself and tells her to spill, but Kate can't confide in her and says she'll catch up later. She can confide in Declan, however, who conveniently appears from around the corner. Kate tells him everything that just happened with Mark and says she put on such a show and dance she nearly believed her own lies. Declan reassures her that Mark has no evidence against her, so if they stick to their story they'll be fine.
Number 32/Erinsborough Hospital - Andrew's Room
Sonya asks Lyn if she's spoken to the fire investigator yet, because the sooner she does the sooner she can claim her insurance. Lyn cagily says she'll get onto it ASAP and sees Sonya out. Lyn sits down with Summer and says they need to talk about what happened on the night of the fire.
Natasha's by Andrew's bedside, going on about how heroic he was to rush into the fire after her and comments on how huge the fire must have been. She then asks him what happened after that.
Summer tells Lyn that she was asleep before everything happened, but Lyn wants to know if Andrew saw anything on his way in.
Andrew says that the whole house was really smoky and he just figured Tash was in there. Tash asks how he got in and he lies and says through a window.
Summer has told Lyn the same thing, but Lyn can't make sense of it - if Andrew came in through the window, why did they have to smash it to get out? Lyn soon figures out that Andrew was in the house before the fire started but Summer says it's not what her Nan thinks. Summer explains that they were just sorting things out after Lyn made a big deal about Andrew staying away from her. Lyn says that Summer shouldn't lie to her - or Tash - but Summer's sticking to her story.
Andrew asks Tash to go and get some water for him, but as soon as she's out of the room he calls the house phone at #32. Summer eventually answers and tells Andrew off for ringing her. She lets him know that she had to lie to her Nan and say they fell asleep listening to music in her room, but she hates herself for it. Andrew determinedly says that he's going to tell Tash the truth, much to Summer's horror. He hangs up when he sees Tash walk back. Panicking, Summer quickly runs out the door to go to the hospital.
Second Commercial Break
Erinsborough Hospital - Andrew's Room
Tash shows Andrew the present she left on his doorstep before the fire broke out. He opens it to find a keychain with his business logo engraved on it (and 'Love Tash' on the back). She leans down to kiss him and he wavers slightly before kissing her back, realising that now isn't the best time to break her heart.
Erinsborough Hospital - Corridor
Natasha's inspecting her neck wounds in a compact mirror when Summer sprints in to find her. Tash wonders why she's puffing like an old lady so Sum lies and says she had to take the stairs. Summer asks how Michael is and then Andrew, relieved to see that Tash still looks happy and oblivious for now. Tash asks why Summer's in the hospital and Sum replies that she was just checking up on her friend, reminding her that the doctor said she should rest (and what about you, Sum? I'm sure running a marathon is great for all that smoke inhalation). Tash smiles but Summer can see something's still troubling her.
NATASHA: When Andrew kissed me before it seemed like he had second thoughts. Just for a second.
SUMMER: Oh, well, he's just come out of surgery. It probably hurts to move.
NATASHA: The surgery wasn't on his lips.
SUMMER: Come on, Tash. He's full of painkillers. We're lucky he's even awake.
Summer assures Tash he'll be fine. When her friend's back is turned Summer mouths 'thank you' to Andrew through the window.
Lassiter's Complex
Mark's on the phone to someone telling them that he wants to re- test the fibres that were found on Paul's jacket the night of the accident. He runs into Kate and says they should have another chat - but he has to take a quick call from his boss first, who is riding him about the Robinson case. When they finally do get to chat it escalates into another argument about their relationship versus Mark's work life.
KATE: All I know is that when we're together and it's just us and there's no work, everything is great. I want to be with you, and I know that it's complicated for you...
MARK: I'm really close to cracking this case you know. And if I can the pressure will go away.
KATE: Mark there'll be other cases.
MARK: No, not like this. This is the one. The trouble is, what if you're the one? I don't think I can do both. I can't concentrate on the case when I'm with you and I can't concentrate on you when... So I either give up the case or I give up on us.
Third Commercial Break
Harold's Store/Erinsborough Police Station
Kate and Mark mope by themselves while some angsty music plays in the background. Declan finds Kate, who tells him all about her Mark woes and the decision he needs to make. Dec offers to go for a walk with Kate if she wants to clear her head and get some fresh air - no strings attached. Kate nods and walks out with him.

(Tomorrow on Neighbours)
KATE: I'm really not in the mood.
DONNA: Yeah that's the whole point of a distraction. Forget men and get some Zen.
(They take a yoga class - Donna's pretty crap at it - they see Jade there)
JADE: Sorry I don't do girly chats.
(But it seems she does as they all hang out together at Charlie's and play truth or dare - Donna's one involves Lucas and then the girls all decide to lift their tops and flash everyone)
PAUL: How does it feel to be back home?
REBECCA: How do you think, Paul?
MARK: Rebecca could I have a word?
REBECCA: You don't waste any time do you.
(Rebecca sees Michael in his room)
REBECCA: What happened to Michael?
DECLAN: He was a hero.
(Rebecca has a moment with Michael)
REBECCA: If anything had have happened to you...
(Michael sees Paul come in and croaks out his name as a warning - Rebecca quickly lets go of Michael's hand)
