Toadie telling Sonya that after his six months with Steph, she and him can be together.
Michael telling Libby that the school board has spent thousands on the new whiteboards.
Michael writing with the permanent marker on the whiteboard - Mike 'heart' Miss Kennedy.
Libby refusing to help Mike out with the whiteboard problem.
Erinsborough High School
Lucas is trying to get the whiteboard to work, and Mike can't get the pen off the board. Mike tells Lucas that he needs the day to go smoothly in case the board want to get rid of him. Libby comes in and is still gloating over Mike's mistake, but offers to call the board member (because she knows him) and tell him to come later in the week. Mike is still smarting from Lib's earlier tirade and refuses her help, so Libby gets all snotty and tells Mike her class are waiting outside.
Outside the classroom Mike tells the class that they can't use the classroom, and Libby uses it as an opportunity to undermine her boss by telling him that he's wasting the class' valuable time.
Mike and Libby go back into the classroom and Lucas suggests using his mechanics room, which Libby protests - it's full of car bits. Mike tells her to tidy it up. At that point Sophie knocks on the door - Susan's waiting in his room; she's here to do a story on the whiteboards for the Erinsborough News.
Libby tells her waiting class to go to room 304, which they're not thrilled about. As they leave, Libby gloats at Mike again, now both the school board and the Press are here.
Number 30
Toadie and Callum are getting ready to go and visit Rocky which Cal's really excited about. He hopes the dog still remembers them, and as Toadie packs his stuff up there's a knock on the door - it's Diana. Callum's impressed that Diana is from New York, and Toadie tells him to go get a jumper whilst he reprimands Diana for coming over.
DIANA: I just wanted to make sure you're still committed to what we're doing.
TOADIE: That's why they invented the telephone.
Diana thinks Toadie is dragging his feet, and wonders if he's playing both sides. She wants to see how he's doing so far, but Toadie has other commitments today...
Diana won't take it. So Toadie has to tell Callum that they won't be going to see Rocky; Cal runs off, upset.
Lassiter's
Toadie and Steph are at Harold's, and Callum says he hopes he's going to get exactly what he wants! He goes to order for him and Steph. Sonya appears, and Steph apologises for the other day; she's glad Libby didn't scare Sonya off. She tells Sonya that Toadie's a bit down today, and he'd love to see her.
Lyn appears from nowhere, and reminds her daughter that Toad and Sonya being seen together isn't a good look, surely? Steph tells Lyn to relax.
Harold's Store
Callum is complaining that Toadie always changes his mind after committing to do something with his son, but Steph defends his dad. At the counter Diana orders a coffee, and asks Steph where Toadie is; Steph says he's in his office. Lyn is suspicious of Diana's behaviour, but thinks that if Diana comes down hard on Paul, the Scullys might be off her radar.
The Law Office
Sonya is talking with Toadie, who's really, really pleased to see her. They are complaining that Libby sees Sonya as the scarlet woman, and Toadie hates how Libby is the third person in their marriage. They hug, and Diana walks in. Sitting outside Jarrod's office she uses her compact mirror to watch the two of them getting cosy in the office, discussing meeting up later.
TOADIE: Six months, baby!
SONYA: Bring it on, baby!
DIANA: MWAAAHAHAHAHAHAA!
Charlie's
Diana spots Karl buying a bottle of wine, and digs for information on Jarrod Rebecchi, saying that she's in the market for a lawyer. Karl raves about Toadie's qualities, and Diana gets a bit too inquisitive about his private life. Karl is hesitant to give any information, so Diana covers by admitting she's a gossip.
Erinsborough High School
Michael has dealt with the whiteboard graffiti by putting up posters on the whiteboard. Libby isn't impressed (when is she, ever?) but brings in the school board member, David Whittaker, and his colleagues. She introduces them to Michael and Lucas before flirting a little with David who, it turns out, what her supervisor when she was doing her teacher practice.
Susan bursts in, saying hi to David, and telling him that she works for the paper now, and comments that the kids are all keen to come in, too. David agrees they should come in, and Michael reluctantly gives it the okay.
Harold's Store
Sophie has finished school a bit early because her teacher had to go to a 'blackboard presentation', and meets Callum who's been off school all day - and still didn't get to see Rocky.
Steph rushes in to see Toadie and said that she sent Diana to see him earlier today, before Karl appears and adds that Diana was asking questions about Toadie today, too, before rushing off. Toadie is now very suspicious.
Erinsborough High School
Michael is talking about the whiteboard, whilst Andrew goads him and asks for a demo, like he did this morning. Tash whispers to him to shut it. Andrew continues - why are there posters all over the board? David, too, insists: he wants to see the board in action. Lucas tries to cover for Michael, saying that the training brochure is really long, but Michael agrees, he'll plug it in.
Michael asks Summer to distribute some information whilst he plugs the board in - but Tash takes them and says she'll do it. He then asks Libby to help him, but Libby undermines him again by saying that she can't, because their training session got interrupted earlier.
He drags her behind the whiteboard anyway. Michael tells her that she has to do something, and Libby gloats (yet again) that he finally needs her help.
Cut to later where, outside the classroom, Libby agrees to help on one condition: he consults her on anything do with her classes. He starts to say that her request is completely impractical but gives in.
Back in the classroom Tash and Lucas are holding court, telling them all the great things Mike has been doing in the school, just as Libby and he return. Libby apologises for keeping them waiting, and says that they've decided not to use the boards until they have been properly trained in. So instead, they'll go see where Lucas has been educating the kids in mechanics. Susan tries to get a picture of everyone with the whiteboard before they leave but Libby stops her, and once the kids have left, she shows her mum the graffitied whiteboard.
Susan laughs before pointing out that a Kennedy woman has rescued yet another hapless male.
MICHAEL: Did you ever work here at the same time?
LIBBY: Yeah, for a bit.
MICHAEL: Guess I should count myself lucky.
Lassiter's
Outside Harold's Steph hurries up Soph and Callum so they can get home before helping her mum clear some tables. Walking across the complex are Tash and Andrew who run into Michael. They ask how his review went, and apparently it went really well, and they're keeping the whiteboards, although they're sending one back to the manufacturer...!!
Michael offers to get them a coffee, but Tash said it will be just the two of them: Andrew can go.
Diana crosses over and meets Jarrod outside his office to remind him that the clock is ticking on their deal. Toadie says that he knows she's been snooping, and Diana admits that this is true - in fact, she's discovered something and needs to talk to him inside.
The Law Office
Diana knows that Paul is blackmailing Toadie, and that he's cheating on his pregnant wife with Sonya. But she doesn't care about that, she only cares about his commitment to bringing Paul down; she wants that information fast.
Sonya arrives with pizzas, and Diana tells them to enjoy their pizza - and their six months.
Cut to later and Toadie is telling Sonya that he hates this as much as she does, but he can't leave Steph and reveal the truth; he just can't. His phone rings and Sonya asks who it is. Toadie lies and says it's Callum, and Sonya knows he's lying: she calls him on how immediately he seems to do that, these days. She wonders if he's thought through what this is doing to Callum, and Toadie says he thinks about that all the time.
Sonya starts to lose it. Originally she was prepared to do this because she was prepared to wait for the man she loved; now he's turning into someone else who she's not sure she wants to be with.
