Number 28
Zeke is nervous whether the Uni will accept his late application or not as Karl is struggling to get the paperwork complete due to Susan's filing system but eventually he comes up with the necessary papers.

Donna remarks that she can't believe they are all going to be starting Uni tomorrow. Kate is equally as excited and Declan is glad they're going to be doing it together.

Karl strongly hints that the teens should leave since they've got a big day tomorrow, which they do, and before retiring for the night, Zeke thanks Karl for letting Mia come to dinner.

Number 24
Donna and Kate analyse Declan's use of 'together'. Kate is bemused because she doesn't know what Declan is thinking and Donna replies that is what her first book is going to be about! When Kate admits she hasn't had a boyfriend before, Donna decides its time for some lessons!

DONNA: Lesson 1 - you can't ask a boy what he's thinking or feeling because he doesn't have a clue. Chances are he isn't thinking at that point in time which is why they invented Facebook.

Donna then looks up Declan's profile to see what his relationship status says (that is how she found out it was all over between herself and Ringo) however when she gets there its blank. "That's bad right?" asks Kate. Donna doesn't give her an answer on that, instead saying they should go to Plan B - she comes straight out and asks Declan. Kate immediately rejects that offer and doesn't believe Donna when she says that Kate should just continue to enjoy the way things are at the moment.

Charlie's
Toadie enters the bar with a peace offering for Lucas so they can at least be civil to each other (he's already ruled out friendship for the moment) - tickets to the Melbourne GP with the offer of keeping him company if he'd like that. Lucas rejects the offer when he spots Steph entering the bar, whom he blanks on the way out.

Number 22
Paul is stunned when Donna rejects the offer of a hot chocolate (he made too much) instead telling Declan to have it then dropping hints that chocolate is a couples thing. Declan is looking at the list of clubs on offer at Uni and Donna comes out and asks if there is one that he and Kate can join together. "Maybe" is his non- committal reply.

Rebecca is giving Lucas a hard time for rejecting Toadie's peace offer as they come home from the bar. She tries to rope Paul into getting Lucas to take up his offer but Paul is firmly in the other camp - he'd want to get even if he was in Lucas' shoes. Rebecca points out the hypocrisy given his track record but Paul explains he was speaking purely from Lucas' perspective.

Charlie's (next day)
Lucas has invited Sonya for a cuppa and after the small talk she asks how it's going with Steph at work. He replies that Steph's on holiday but hopes to have another job before she returns. Sonya is relived to have gotten the wrong end of the stick (she thought he was leaving Erinsborough) as she needs her friends around her and Lucas picks up her hands to reassure her.

Conveniently at that moment, Toadie and Callum enter the bar and spot the duo sitting in the corner. Toadie spots the holding hands and immediately they leave the bar despite Callum wanting to go and say hello. Before exiting though, Toadie takes one final look over to the table and sees Lucas looking at him in an 'I've peeved you off' sort of way.

Number 28
The teens are gathered ready for their first day at Uni and Karl is tells the guys tales of his own O week. Meanwhile Donna and Kate are trying to figure out ways in which Kate can ask Declan about the official status of their relationship but all it does is leave Kate as confused as ever!

Charlie's
Paul tries to railroad Rebecca into signing some documents to do with PirateNet but she wants to read them before signing, much to his annoyance. He then tries to leave, saying she can read the documents at her leisure but she wants him to stay and explain everything in detail to her!

Meanwhile Lucas continues to wind Toadie up by making their farewell hug more than it should be (really hugging Sonya and giving her kisses too) when he spots Toadie entering the bar. Toadie tries to talk to her as she leaves, but she just blanks him.

Toadie goes over to warn Lucas off of dating Sonya because they both know he really isn't interested in her but Lucas points out its none of his business

TOADIE: If you hurt her.
LUCAS: Is this all part of the peace offering is it? Do you know what? Sonya and I are both single and who knows something may happen between us and if it does there's not a thing you can do about it.

Lucas then gently runs his thumb over Toadie's goatee before walking away.

Number 30
Sonya turns up after Toadie called asking to see her. He cuts straight to the chase and asks what is going on between herself and Lucas. She is puzzled over the question then when he mentions that he saw them in Charlie's, she isn't amused. "I don't want to see you get hurt" he tries to explain which isn't washing with her and she lets him have it when he basically orders her to stay away from Lucas!

SONYA: You know the sad thing is that when you called I actually thought that maybe you wanted to get back together. Its stupid right?

Toadie barely manages to keep it together as she walks out of the house.

Eden Hills Uni
A knackered Zeke runs into Declan and Kate as they make their way through the campus as he tries to get himself enrolled into the institution as it's proving to be a bit of a paper nightmare going from one place to another!

Kate decides to put her discussions with Donna into practice, seriously dropping into their conversation that there are lots of couples around - boyfriends and girlfriends. He's being a typical male and not getting what she's hinting at but thankfully for him, Donna arrives seeking refuge after evading some guy who has the hots for her. Donna departs after quickly quizzing Kate about how it's not going when Declan moved away temporarily and just after that Declan leaves her as he's off to a talk he wants to attend.

Number 30
Callum is home for lunch but gives Steph a cool reception when she offers to make him a sandwich because Toadie forgot to make his lunch. Toadie tells him that Rocky passed his latest assessment which pleases him but he walks out of the kitchen when Toadie doesn't answer when he asks if he'd let Sonya know.

Eden Hills Uni
Donna catches up again with Kate who is down in the dumps following her failed conversation with Declan. Leaving Kate, she decides to take the bull by the horns and heads off to find Declan, which she quickly does, and drags him off to get things sorted!

Commercial break later and we start hearing the strains of 'You're the light' by Anika Moa when above the music we suddenly hear Declan's voice saying he's looking for his girlfriend! Kate is bemused at what she is hearing but migrates to where the voice is coming from and eventually comes face to face with him.

DECLAN: I'm an idiot.

Kate nods at that one and the gathered onlookers cheer when they start pashing. Aww.

Zeke catches up with Donna (she's just behind where the duo are pashing) as he's got his paperwork sorted out but instead is dragged off with Donna muttering that her work is done!

Number 28
The happy duo enter #28 to join in the impromptu celebrations for them starting a new era in their lives - Zeke politics, Declan business, Kate education and Donna doing visual merchandise. Donna gets a bit teary though when she looks at the photo of Ringo and realises that there is someone missing.

Number 22
Kate calls round to thank Donna for her help... and that nobody is going to forget this O week in a hurry! She then subtly brings up about Donna looking at the photo and Donna asks if she thinks Ringo is ever coming back. "Yes" Kate forcibly replies before adding "one day" a few second later. She then gives her friend a hug when Donna wishes that things could go back to how they were.

Harold's Store
Steph and Callum are making painful small talk about how his day at school was. She signals for Toadie to join in but Callum still isn't very forthcoming with him either.

Lucas and Sonya enter the store but make a quick 180 when they see who else is there although Lucas again continues to wind him/them up with a facial gesture as he exits the door. Toadie isn't amused and both Steph and Callum ask if he is okay however instead of replying, he stands up in a rage, knocking his chair flying and exits the store.

Charlie's
Lucas has decided on a game of pool for Sonya and himself to help them forget about their problems. They spot Toadie marching into the bar and Lucas decides to "protect" Sonya by standing in front of her, almost shielding her from Toadie.

TOADIE: (shouting) You stay away from her.

Lucas tells him its none of his business and Sonya wants to know why he is doing this.

TOADIE: You know he's using you alright?
LUCAS: You're just making a fool of yourself.
TOADIE: Just like you were using those girls you brought back for sessions on my couch.

Lucas tries to get Toadie to calm down as Paul and Rebecca come out from the office area to see what the commotion is.

Toadie is psyched up and doesn't appreciate what Lucas has just said.

TOADIE: (shouting) I am calm.

Lucas replies that he's freaking Sonya out and Toadie tries to push past him to get to her.

LUCAS: I think its time you left.
TOADIE: (really shouting) You don't know what he's like. He doesn't care who he hurts. You know he's lying to you. Why can't you see that?
LUCAS: (shouting back) You're lying to her.
TOADIE: (really angry shouting) Why don't you get back on your bike buddy and just disappear.
LUCAS: (right in Toadie's face) Because I'm here to stay. If that makes life uncomfortable for you then that's a bonus.
TOADIE: (looking at Sonya) See he's just doing it to get at me alright.

Sonya's had enough and orders both of them to stay away from her. This time it's Toadie who has the smirk on his face.

Number 30
Toadie answers the door and tries to slam it shut when he realises the caller - Lucas! He stops him from closing the door and asks that Toadie hears him out, he isn't round to fight.

Toadie lets him in and asks what he is here to say. Lucas comes straight to the point - he wants to know why Toadie is coming between him and Sonya.

TOADIE: I thought it was pretty obvious. I don't want to see her get hurt.
LUCAS: You mean any more than you've already hurt her?

Toadie shakes his head at that and Lucas tries to say that he's just helping Sonya pick up the pieces although Toadie isn't rapt at his version of that!

LUCAS: What you've got to ask yourself is why is the thought of me with Sonya driving you so mad?
TOADIE: ...
LUCAS: If that's the way you really feel then why are you with Steph?
TOADIE: ...

Tomorrow on Neighbours
- Lucas explaining to Sonya that he wanted to make Toadie jealous.
- Sonya wanting nothing more to do with Lucas.
- Callum being picked on by Dean and his sidekicks.
- Steph overhearing Lucas tell someone that its obvious Toadie is still hung up about Sonya.
- Toadie and Steph pashing!
- Libby quizzing Toadie if he's in love with Steph
- Libby demanding Steph tell her what's wrong.
- Steph asking Libby to leave.
