Recap
- Karl telling Zeke he doesn't trust Mia
- Mia telling someone "I'm in"
- Andrew and Summer deciding not to fight anymore
- Andrew asking for Harry's help to woo Summer
Number 26
Harry ambles over to ask Summer to go to a movie with him - Sophie and Kate are busy and he's bored. Summer smiles and runs off to get her bag.
Harold's Store
Harry shoots a look Andrew's way when he walks in with Summer, who tells Lyn about their movie plans. They're just about to decide on movie snacks when Summer gets a call from Boyd, so she ducks outside to chat while Harry reconvenes with Andrew. Harry tells his cousin not to be so obvious (he's been staring), but Andrew's just eager for Harry to learn more information about Summer - favourite movies, music etc. Declan watches them suspiciously from the background.
Charlie's Bar
Zeke, Mia and Donna are waiting for Declan and Kate to arrive. Donna tries to make conversation but Zeke keeps shutting her down and she struggles to find common ground with Mia. When Declan and Kate finally get there they just end up making snide remarks about getting arrested (well, Declan mainly), which just annoys Zeke more. What an awesome, fun night.
Number 28
Mia- less Zeke tells Declan off for treating his girlfriend badly, but Declan says it's just out of concern for his mate. Donna tries to stick up for Mia but Zeke bites her head off, so Donna sulks away home. Declan and Kate tell Zeke he's being a hypocrite. If he can forgive Mia for something huge, even though he's only known her five seconds, why can't he forgive Donna?
Harold's Store - Next Morning
Harry finds Summer listening to her iPod and they get chatting about music. Harry wants to know what's on her playlist, but Summer thinks playlists should be private.
HARRY: No they're not.
SUMMER: OK what's on yours?
HARRY: Uh, let me think. I've got some Wolfmother, The Flaming Lips, Big Pink...
SUMMER: Now that's the list you tell everyone about. What are your guilty pleasures?
HARRY: Don't have any.
SUMMER: Then you can't see my playlist.
HARRY: OK maybe I have some Johnny Cash.
SUMMER: There's nothing wrong with that.
HARRY: And some Craig David.
[Summer smirks and hands over her iPod]
HARRY: Barbie Girl, Aqua - seriously?
SUMMER: I told you it was a guilty pleasure! That was my first CD.
HARRY: That is so sad.
They banter all they way out the door, passing Mia who is on the phone to her super secret someone telling them, "I'll get him there. I've set it up". She hangs up and plasters on a smile to join Zeke at a table. It doesn't take long before she's convinced him to come to a protest with her - a legal and legit one of course. This will not end well.
Number 28
Donna, Declan and Kate are helping Zeke make posters for the protest while Mia mucks around with Zeke's bag in the background (and if that wasn't ominous enough the music cue is all, 'THIS IS AN OMINOUS SCENE! PAY ATTENTION!'). Karl sticks his beak in to check that Zeke won't get himself in more trouble, and Zeke reassures him he won't. Donna ends up inviting herself along to the protest and is pleased when Zeke agrees with her. This causes slight concern in Mia, but she pretends she's cool with it. Cue more ominous music.
Protest Area
Donna, Zeke, Mia and a pack of protestors are waving around their signs and chanting about stopping animal cruelty while a security guard has a hissy fit. He tells Donna off for recording him on her phone but Zeke sticks up for her and tells everyone to get out their phones. The security guard calls for back- up while Zeke apologises to Donna for shutting her out lately. Mia suddenly gets her flirt on with Zeke and tells him they should go somewhere private.
Mia and Zeke are pashing around the corner when the gate they're leaning on moves. Mia's happy because it means they can break in to the testing facility, but Zeke thinks she's nutso for even considering it. Mia tells Zeke she'll make it worth his while if he breaks in with her - wink wink. Dude, this is one situation where little Zeke should not be doing the thinking...
Protest Area
Zeke eventually talks Mia out of breaking in, but they're still in trouble when two security guards find them and think they're up to no good. Especially when one guard finds spray cans in Zeke's backpack (MUSIC CUE: Told you!). Zeke's surprised - he didn't put them in there - but the guards don't believe him and haul both of them to the police station. Donna rushes over and asks if Zeke needs Toadie, but Zeke says not to tell anyone where he is - especially Karl.
Number 26
Lyn brings Harry and Summer some popcorn (with a little smirk on her face) while they watch some Z- grade horror flick.
HARRY: This is fantastic. What's it called again?
SUMMER: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.
HARRY: And it's a real movie is it?
LYN: Ooh don't tell me you haven't seen it.
SUMMER: It's so bad it's good.
HARRY: Well how come I haven't seen it before?
SUMMER: Well maybe you've been hanging out with the wrong people.
Harry flicks popcorn all over Summer and she laughs.
Harold's Store
Andrew impatiently flicks through a magazine while he waits on a text from Harry. Declan and Kate organise a date. Andrew checks his phone for the millionth time.
Number 26
Meanwhile, Harry and Summer are having an awesome time watching Santa being kidnapped and taken to Mars. Summer knew he'd enjoy the flick because they have the same sense of humour. Harry smiles at her.
Harold's Store
Andrew gets stuck talking about old cars with Karl because the magazine he was flicking through happened to land on a car page and Karl thinks he's a fan. Andrew eventually gets rid of him by claiming he has to ring Rebecca, but he actually sends a text to Harry: What's going on?
Number 26
Harry tries to answer Andrew's text without Summer noticing, but she's too busy organising more movie days. Lyn's got a whole bunch of crappy films they can watch.
Harold's Store
Donna's about to tell Kate what happened at the protest when Karl finds her and asks if she's seen Zeke - his phone's switched off. Donna lies and says that Zeke and Mia are hanging out somewhere, so Karl heads home.
Number 26
Harry and Summer muck around and throw popcorn at one another.
Harold's Store
Andrew gets annoyed when he receives no more updates from Harry and walks out the store.
Police Station
Zeke's kinda ticked at the whole spray can thing, but Mia says she only brought them along to make more posters and she *totally* thought she put them in her own bag. Zeke believes her. Zeke is a moron. Detective Skinner approaches them and takes Mia in for questioning.
Number 24
Harry arrives home and is surprised to find Andrew waiting for him.
ANDREW: You haven't really written back to any of my texts.
HARRY: Oh, we were watching a movie and she was sitting right next to me.
ANDREW: Sounds kind of cosy.
Getting suss, Andrew wonders if Harry's into Summer, but Harry lies and says no so Andrew wants all the information Harry gathered about her.
Harold's Store
Andrew makes a big show of putting some CDs on a table where someone - say perhaps Summer - could see them. Oh look! There Summer is walking into the store right now! She stops to chat with him and is surprised to see that he has an Aqua CD.
ANDREW: So I'm into Scandinavian pop.
SUMMER: You like Aqua?
ANDREW: It's the first CD I ever bought.
Sadly this does not ring any deja vu bells with Summer and she just thinks it's cool that Andrew's into the same stuff as her. Oh, and Declan is lurking about in the background eavesdropping on their conversation (and waiting for Kate to finish her shift).
Number 24
Declan and Kate chat in the kitchen while Harry watches TV.
KATE: Did you want a coffee? Something to eat?
DECLAN: Ooh yeah, I'll have a mocha cappuccino with trim milk and a triple- choc cupcake please.
KATE: Uhh... Yeah. How about instant coffee, almost out of date milk and a stale biscuit?
DECLAN: Brilliant.
Dec then sidles over to Harry to have a man- chat about the whole Summer thing. He can see that he likes her - despite his protests - and that he shouldn't be playing matchmaker for Andrew. Because whatever wingman magic he's weaving is working and Summer is starting to think Andrew is great. This info saddens Harry.
DECLAN: I know it's none of my business but if you do like her you should probably do something about it pretty quick, before it's too late. Food for thought.
Harry contemplates this.
Police Station
Donna finds Zeke, who is fretting about Mia.
In the interview room Det. Skinner says that if Mia wants to keep out of prison then she'll have to start co- operating with him.
Donna says that Zeke and Mia didn't do anything wrong so the cops will have to let them go, but Zeke's still worried because Mia's been in there for ages. He wonders if he should call Toadie after all, but Donna reminds him that Toadie will get Karl involved.
Mia tells Skinner that Zeke wouldn't go inside the testing facility because he's scared of getting caught. Skinner says he can't charge Zeke over a couple of cans of paint.
MIA: If the guards hadn't of come along then everything would've been fine.
SKINNER: You said you would get enough on your ringleader for us to arrest him.
MIA: Just give me another chance.
SKINNER: We had a deal. If it's not Zeke Kinski then it's going to be you standing up there in court in his place. You have a week.
Sneaky cow! Meanwhile, Zeke is still worrying his guts out in the hallway while Donna gives him a consoling pat on the shoulder. Oh Zeke, she's no L'Oreal, she's so not worth it!
Number 28
Karl's happy to see Zeke and Mia home - he was worried. He tells Zeke he's been trawling the internet for uni enrolment forms for him and then he throws Zeke an olive branch and invites Mia to dinner. Zeke's stoked but Mia politely declines. While Karl goes into the hallway to retrieve the enrolment forms, Zeke and Mia have a quick chat about their day.
ZEKE: Mia I really like you but that stuff with the cops, I'm just not up for it.
MIA: Me either. Look, it won't happen again, promise. Do you believe me?
ZEKE: I do.
They hug but Mia's smile fades away once her face is hidden.

(Donna helps Kate out with her relationship confusion)
DONNA: Boyfriend lesson number one. You can't ask a boy what he's thinking or feeling because he doesn't have a clue. Chances are he's not even thinking at that point in time.
(Donna tries to get Declan interested in uni stuff with Kate)
DONNA: Maybe there's a club that you can Kate could join together?
DECLAN: Yeah, maybe.
(Donna buries her face in her hands)
PAUL V/O: Toadie stole his girl? Yeah I'd want to get even.
(Lucas walks into HS with Sonya - Toadie doesn't look happy)
SONYA: Let's get out of here.
(Lucas puts his arm around Sonya and walks out, smirking at Toadie)
TOADIE: He's using you to get to me.
SONYA: Oh please.
TOADIE: You can't trust him OK.
(Lucas confronts Toadie in Charlie's)
LUCAS: Sonya and I are both single. And who knows, something may happen between us. And if it does there's not a thing you can do about it.
(Lucas grins and pats him on the face to really tick him off)
