Number 26
Bridget and Declan count $12,000 from the package. Bridget says it's Joanna paying her to stay away. Steve and Miranda arrive wondering why they have tons of cash until Bridget shows them the card. She says she was too gutless to see her and asks how she can hate her so much; she doesn't even know her. Miranda tells her that they do and love her but Bridget goes to call her and Declan follows. Steve tells Miranda she's got to tell her. Declan hears this and stays behind to hear more.

MIRANDA: Maybe she just needs a moment.
STEVE: If you don't tell her, I will.

Declan emerges, letting them know he heard. Miranda walks off and Steve changes the subject, asking Declan to help with the dishes.

Miranda walks into the lounge to find Bridget sitting on the sofa. Bridget tells her she's ok. Miranda says they'd never do anything to hurt you.

BRIDGET: Unlike some people.

Miranda says some people think they're doing the right thing, they just don't know how others will react and maybe there's things she afraid of that make her act like this, maybe she doesn't think its a bad thing she's done. Bridget says Miranda's so generous, finding a way not to hate her when she's done something that bad. They hug and Bridget says she's so lucky to have Miranda. But Miranda says she's the lucky one.

Number 28
Rachel and Zeke are on the sofa, moody looks on their faces. Karl, Dan and Libby and try to get him to work with them on this, Karl realising he's formed an attachment with Phil but Zeke says it's not an attachment. Rachel doesn't get why he's not angry with him instead after lying to him. She bluntly tells him that this is his real family.

KARL: Do you really not want to be here?
ZEKE: I don't even know who you are; I just want to be with Phil!
KARL: Well, you can't!

Dan says Karl's just trying to look out for him. If he weren't his son why would he do this? Libby tells them they all love him. They leave and Karl tells Zeke he was discharged given they would take care of him. They want him so much to be there however if he doesn't he'll have to be taken back to hospital.

ZEKE: Right, is that how all families work? You don't do as you're told, you get sent off with the crazies? This is you trying to show me how much you love me, is it?
KARL: In a way, yes.
ZEKE: Welcome home.

Number 26
Steve is washing up, wondering if the crickets on but it's tomorrow, corrected by Declan. He mentions how upset Didge is and Steve said he knew it was going to be hard when the time came for her to find out about her birth mother. Declan wants to know what he wanted to tell Bridget. Steve says Joanna's bad news and he's rather Bridget keep away from her.

DECLAN: So you do know her?
STEVE: Well, no.
DECLAN: Well, how do you know she's bad news, then?

Steve tells Dec to butt out and give it a rest.

Number 30
Libby and Dan walk in, Libby telling him she feels useless how awful it all is. Dan says all it'll take is time as they sit down, Audrey with a post-it note on her head. Toadie walks in, telling Libby she might be sitting on a sticker, which she is and read an Italian word for couch. Then we notice post-it notes with Italian words on everywhere!

TOADIE: It's for Squid, it helps him with his reading.
DAN: Wouldn't it be better to kick off with English?
TOADIE: I do the jokes around here, buddy!

Ben and Callum run in and Libby reads an Italian word for butler. Callum asks if she saw his scar, Ben telling her he means Zeke. Libby gives an awkward look at Dan as she says no. Dan says they didn't ask and Callum would have which is why Toadie's not letting him go over there.

CALLUM: Did he have blood oozing from his brain?

Dan says he looked just like Zeke and Libby says he did and he didn't. Callum asks if he walked around like a zombie, doing an impression himself and Toadie says that's enough. Callum just wants one look at him and Libby says he's not an animal at a zoo.

CALLUM: I know he's not an animal. He's a zombie. What's Italian for "zombie"?
TOADIE: Callum, this is serious. Zeke is not well.
CALLUM: Zombies aren't well.

Toadie tells them to go to bed and apologises to Libby but she says its ok. Callum reappears with a pizza in his hand saying its zombie brains. Toadie tells them to go to bed again, demanding the pizza.

TOADIE: What's Italian for pizza?

Number 28
Karl and Rachel are talking whilst Zeke is out of earshot on the sofa, Karl asking Rachel if she's sure she'll be ok, he feels he should be looking after Zeke. Rachel says if anything happens she'll get him and tells him to go to bed. Karl gives in and goes, Zeke commenting its a changing of the guard. Rachel tries to get him to play the playstation with her, happy and cheery, but Zeke tells her not to bother recreating a brother and sister moment. Rachel says she feels he hates her. Zeke has a go at her for telling on him but she had to.

RACHEL: You have no idea how long they spent looking for you.
ZEKE: It was no big deal.
RACHEL: It was a big deal. We had a memorial service for you, why don't you just stop and think what that must have been like.
ZEKE: I'm not exactly having the best time here, I'm locked up by a bunch of strangers!
RACHEL: So you're going to make things as difficult as possible for everyone and just pick up and go again?

Zeke says nothing and Rachel wants him to give her chance to show him she's not who he thinks she is. Zeke calmly says he can't remember what he said thought about anyone. Rachel uses reverse psychology and says it doesn't even matter anymore and if he hates them so much and wants to go then go. Zeke leans forward and picks up the other controller, offering it to Rachel. She takes it and sits with him.

And all that time, that annoying music/noise on the TV going over and over!

Number 26
Miranda is cooking and Steve walks in and asks her if he told her. She ignores him and asks for tomato paste. Steve tells her he won't lie for her anymore but Miranda says it's for Bridget, not her. Steve wants to know where the money she gave Joanna came from and Miranda said she saved it all up. Steve says about how she told him what he could and couldn't spend and never told him about this. He's sick of the lies. There would have been another way to deal with Joanna. Steve clearly says next time Declan asks, he'll tell him. Whether Bridget hears it from him or Miranda, it's Miranda's choice.

(Later)

Miranda is stirring the food being frightened by Declan saying the food smells great. Miranda asks how Bridget is and he says she's ok. He looks back at the food and says she knows a way to a man heart and asks for a taster as long as he doesn't tell Steve. Lounging across the table casually, he picks up Miranda's phone from the counter when Miranda turns her back. He says he's going off to wash his hands and goes into the lounge. He finds Joanna's number in the phonebook and calls from his own mobile.

Number 28
Zeke is still on the playstation and Rachel is fast asleep next to him. We pan over to the front door where we see Callum and Ben sneak in to get a look at Zeke. Callum says its too late for Rachel, he sucked her brain right out of her skull! Ben yells at him to shut up, which alerts Zeke there's someone there. He asks what's going on as he walks up to them, and Ben begs him not to eat his brain. Karl has emerged from the bedroom, wondering what's going on but Zeke doesn't quite know. Callum mentions Zeke doesn't look very dead, thinking he'd be all white and walking around with his arms out in front of him, Callum giving an example. Karl apologizes for them but he says it's ok and plays along, going down to their level and putting on a croaky voice.

ZOMBIEZEKE: You guys should have seen me before they stitched me up.
CALLUM: Yeah?
BEN: So are you really a...
ZOMBIEZEKE: Zombie? Mmm...how old are you?
BEN: 10
ZOMBIEZEKE: 10, your brains too little, but you, (turning to Callum) you look a little bit bigger.
CALLUM: No! No! I'm 10!

Callum and Ben run to the other side of the lounge and ZombieZeke walks towards them, growling "big brains" with his arms out walking robotically, pretty much like a zombie. Soon they're playfighting and Rachel has woken up and now laughing. Libby and Dan walk in, looking for the boys and tell them to stop but Karl says everything's fine, they're battling a zombie. ZombieZeke stops roaring like a dead person for a second, turning into NormalZeke asking whose kids they are as they fight on the sofa (which is pretty ironic, considering one of them is his nephew). Karl has a big smile, as does Rachel

Number 30
Libby and Toadie are dancing to reggae music as Karl walks in, saying they were looking for music for the wedding. Karl says it sounds great, but Libby mentions how he hates reggae.

KARL: No I don't.
LIBBY: Yeah you do. You think it's boring.
KARL: Well, it is boring.

Libby asks how Zeke is. Karl says how Rachel's his new best friend but she's good. Libby says he'll get better, he'll remember. Karl's scared that all he'll remember is the roof collapse and Libby says she is too about letting him go in the river. Like Karl said, it doesn't mean they don't love him but Karl hopes he understands that. They hug.

Charlie's
Declan wanders in and Rebecca jokes with him asking if he as a hot date. Bridget walks in looking furious, looking at Declan waiting for an explanation. She says he's irresponsible and needs to lift his game but Declan comes out with his arrangement to meet Joanna and he's going to tell her to leave Bridget alone. Didge says it's her decision but Declan says she's been so stressed however he's not helping. He asks if she wants to go home but she doesn't know. She's scared. She wants to know how she sounded. We hear someone call Bridget's name and Joanna has appeared in the doorway.

Break over and Declan says Didge has more courage that Joanna will ever have after Rebecca comments on their similarities. Rebecca says it takes a lot of courage to give up your baby. He apologizes. Rebecca asks if Miranda knows about this, which she doesn't, and wouldn't she want to know?

Over to Joanna and Bridget talking at a table. Joanna says she knows she must be angry and gives her permission to yell at her. She's been stalking Bridget because she's wanted to know what she looks like and has done for a long time and so has Bridget about Joanna. Joanna's eyes begin to water as she apologizes. Bridget comments on how $12,000 dollars is a lot of money and Joanna's been saving bit by bit , all for her. She says she thought of her everyday but it was complicated as to why she didn't want to meet her.

Number 28
Karl is setting up the chess set and, as Rachel and Zeke walk in, asks Zeke if he wants a game. Zeke doesn't. Karl offers a bet on the outcome.

ZEKE: OK, the bet could be that if you win I have to stay here and if I win, I still have to stay here.

Karl says to forget about the bet and just play a game so he can thrash Karl. Zeke declines, saying him and Rachel are playing on the playstation. Zeke sits on the sofa and Rachel says he's trying his best. She also says she has no idea why people are so worried, he's the same since before he disappeared: a moody pain. Zeke's happy that finally somebody isn't tiptoeing around him and wants to know more about "This Zeke kid". Rachel offers to show him.

A little later and Zeke's watching himself talking about Rachel and her affair with Angus. He doesn't know why everybody wants "This Zeke kid" back.

RACHEL: You weren't always like that.
ZEKE: This video diary, he seems pretty unhappy.
RACHEL: You were pretty unhappy. You wouldn't let any of us help you. It's kinda like now, really.

Zeke says he sees this but can't relate to it. The only memories he has are the ones with Phil and everything else is what he's been told by Rachel and Phil. Rachel says he's not really talked much about what happened with Phil.

ZEKE: I had a gash on my head and he, uh, he looked after me. And to get my strength back up he taught me some Wing Chung. We, we played chess and we just, we just talked. Sometimes he went off and picked fruit.
RACHEL: Sounds kind of lonely.
ZEKE: But it wasn't. It was, it was simple. I was just happy. But...it was a lie. And now I have no life to replace it with.

Rachel says he does and even if he doesn't remember it, they're all there for him. Rachel suggests going back so he can see it for what it really is. She'll help him.

Charlie's
Joanna says how Declan, who is standing at the bar, is watching her every move and Bridget says he's looking after her. She asks about her father and is told he died just after Bridget was born and Riley was about 4 years old but it wasn't why she gave them up. She says they were young and had no money and when pregnant with Riley, she was kicked out. No support from anyone and couldn't live without medication, she simply couldn't look after them. Bridget asks if tried to get them back, but she had a loving family. Joanna starts to get emotional and Bridget takes her hand. Miranda walks in and Joanna is hasty to leave but Bridget wants her to stay.

(Later)

Miranda is now sitting with the two of them. Miranda reveals she and Joanna knew each other a long time ago and I feel the need to mention Declan watching in the background. Miranda says the money was generous and Bridget tells her Joanna's been saving. Miranda says its very good of her whilst Joanna looks guilty. Miranda says they should order a drink to celebrate. Happy Bridget can't believe her two mothers are meeting and there's an awkward moment between the two mothers.
