Number 30
Libby is throwing a tantrum over Lucas being best man, claiming that if Dan loved her he wouldn't go through with this idea; Dan reminds her that she created the mess by sleeping with Lucas. Libby storms out, and Toadie comes home (with a trumpet).
Charlie's
Libby has turned to Steph for girly support, and says she doesn't know what Dan was thinking. Steph doesn't want to talk about this yet again, but does want to talk about Ty and his mystery phonecalls. But Lib's too distracted and so Steph lets her talk.
Ty comes to the table and says he's popping out for a bit.
Steph tells Libby she can't give her any advice on wedding jitters - she's hardly the best person to talk about it.
Number 30
Toadie is asking Dan what he's up to today, and makes him talk about the row last night. Toadie tells Dan that choosing Lucas is a really bad idea - rather unsympathetically - but Dan defends his choice: if he ignores Lucas now, then he and his brother are back to square one. Toadie reminds him that women are unreasonable.
TOADIE: Woman and reason go together like fish and bananas.
DAN:. ...huh?
TOADIE: They *don't* go together.
Toadie tells him to go and make Libby happy because he loves her.
Number 26
Rachel thinks that Ty is cheating on her, but Didge says it's highly unlikely and there has to be a reasonable explanation. She tells Rach not to let Donna's fantasies get the better of her. Rachel wonders why Ty would lie to her - perhaps because she hit him in the head with a cricket bat.
Steve comes in and teases Rachel about not letting Ty out of her sight because he's a catch.
DIDGE: Mum! Dad's being a menace!
STEVE: I'm going, I'm going...
Bridget suggests keeping Ty under surveillance, but Rachel refuses to become another Donna - she trusts Ty, really.
Number 24
Carmella is making coffee and telling Bec that she spoke to Oliver this morning who's in New York. Declan comes out and grabs a muesli bar for breakfast before going training with Steve at the gym, but Rebecca is worried that he hasn't been concentrating on his homework or school stuff that he's behind with. Declan tells his mother to stop fussing! She's not happy.
As he leaves, Bec imagines him as a 6 year old child again, waving goodbye to her at the door, but it's still her teenage son and she hates it! Carmella gives Bec some coffee and Becca says that Declan's growing up too fast, and is too consumed with the AFL training.
Dingoes' Den
Declan is bench training with Steve whilst Didge and Rach talk clothes. Becca turns up in the middle of training and demands that Declan return him to do his homework. Er, yeah, good timing, love.
She doesn't want Dec neglecting his studies for a pipe dream, and Steve backs up Rebecca who says she doesn't need his help. Declan refuses to do as he's told, and walks away sadly.
Ty comes in and calls Rachel 'sweetheart' which is rather gross. Rachel asks if he wants to see her after his training, but he vaguely says he's busy with 'stuff' and will call her later. He goes off to his cardio session.
RACHEL: Stuff?
DIDGE: What are you going to do?
RACHEL: (reluctant) Follow him.
Erinsborough High School
Didge has nicked her dad's keys to get into the school, and the girls deduce that he must be seeing a teacher behind Rachel's back. Outside the only classroom, they hear Ty telling a woman that her rhythm was so much better today, and she has to work on her hips. And then they appear to be coming out, so Rachel and Didge quickly hide behind some lockers. And all is well - until Rachel sneezes.
The girls sit in silence until Rachel thinks the woman and Ty have gone. So she stands up - only to see Ty and Miranda standing in front of her.
TY: What are you doing here?
RACH: What are *you* doing here?
MIRANDA: Bridget?
DIDGE: Mum!
The General Store
Steve, Miranda, Didge, Rachel and Ty are sitting round. The Parkers are laughing about the whole situation; Rachel and Ty sit in silence.
STEVE: Run that by me again?!
DIDGE: Okay, we thought Ty was fooling around...!
STEVE: With mum?!
MIRANDA: What do you say, Ty, you interested?!
Didge blames Donna for her fantasies about it all, and Miranda explains that she needed more dance lessons to be more confident about her dancing. Carmella comes over to take their order for drinks, but Ty has to go, and Rachel chases after him.
Rachel apologises, and Ty's upset she thought he was cheating. Ty tells Rach things aren't working - he needs time alone and he doesn't want to talk about it with her.
Erinsborough Hospital
Karl is telling Ty that his hand is healing nicely, and there's some damage to ligaments. Ty wonders about playing the guitar again, but Karl tells him not to worry about that at this stage - he's quietly confident that with physio Ty will be better, but he can't promise anything. Ty's even more pleased when Karl suggests Ty will be well enough to play at Lib and Dan's wedding.
KARL: And you'll be playing for gratis, you know, being a mate.
TY: And you won't be charging this consultation...as a mate?
KARL: Ah, yeah...
TY: Of course I will, Karl!
Karl tells Ty to call Rachel and give her the good news. Ty looks up Rachel's number, but can't bring himself to make the call.
Number 28
Rachel waits with her phone. Donna calls.
Charlie's
Karl comes in with packets of seeds to show Libby: he's growing the flowers for her wedding. He thinks they're spectacular and fresher. Libby thinks he's saving on money.
KARL: Excuse me, I'm frugal. I'm green.
LIBBY: "I'm a tight wad."
Libby tells Steph that Karl wants to kill and cook his own pig, which Steph can't believe. She asks Karl if he realises he has to bleed the pig, and Karl replies that he doesn't have all the details, but that's what the internet's for.
Libby, meanwhile, has wandered off to another table with Dan who wants to talk to her. They both start talking, but neither can say what they want to, so they leave it there.
The Garage
Dan comes to see Lucas who teases him about his motorbike being filthy. They reminisce about the first bike Lucas had and how they worked on it together as brothers. Lucas thinks Dan has come to talk about the bucks' night, and says he has some great ideas - but Dan stops him there. Lucas can't be best man.
It's all a bit sad for a moment, and Lucas says he understands. Dan explains that he hopes they can still be okay, because it's good when they're not hating each other. Lucas agrees it is, and says he understands.
LUCAS: You have to keep her happy, don't you?
DAN: Yeah.
Dan walks away sadly. Lucas sits by the bike, musing over the conversation.
Number 24
Steve comes over to see Rebecca, wondering if she's okay, she seemed upset at the gym this morning. Becca explains that the footie career is a long shot, but Steve thinks Declan can do it. Steve tries to get Rebecca to consider that Declan could do both - a degree and a footie career; he thinks he has the potential. Rebecca doesn't believe that Dec has the self-discipline and maturity for it.
STEVE: I'm not here to tell you how to run your life, so...
REBECCA: Well, I'll keep that in mind, Steve. Thank you.
Steve leaves, and Declan comes home. He tells his mum that training's finished, so he thought he'd come back to do his assignment and make some calls about school work experience. Rebecca seems all pleased and mumsy.

The General Store
Lucas is miserable, and Elle wonders what's up. She knows he's upset, and wants him to tell her what it's about - she knows it's not Dan because they're cool, now, and she's know it's not Libby because he's over her. Lucas agrees - he's happy for his brother. Elle walks off.
LUCAS: Where are you going?
ELLE: I'm leaving you to bask in your unhappiness.
Elle storms into the kitchen, puts a plate inside a tea towel and bashes it til it breaks.
CARMELLA: Lucas?
ELLE: It has nothing to do with him.
CARMELLA: I thought you guys were all systems go?
ELLE: And what would make you think that?
CARMELLA: Because I was here last night when he told Libby to take a hike.
ELLE: ...what?
Elle is somewhat surprised...
Number 30
Elle storms in to find Toadie on the couch with a camera. She needs to find Libby to tell her to stay away from Lucas. Toadie's pleased - he hasn't seen a catfight in ages. Dan comes home.
ELLE: The world doesn't revolve around Libby Kennedy.
TOADIE: Elle's just popped in to say hi.
ELLE: There are other people here, too, and we will stand up for ourselves. And *you* owe your brother an apology.
DAN: What are you talking about, Elle?
ELLE: Well why don't you just go and ask your fiancé?
Elle walks out; Dan looks confused.
Charlie's
Steph and Elle are having a drink and enjoying it. Lucas comes in and wonders if Libby's heard the news that Dan's given him the flick as best man. He says he knows it was Libby who made him do it, because Dan told him - they are brothers, after all. Libby asks Lucas to see it from her side.
LUCAS: No. There is no side. What happened, happened. But it's over. This is my chance to make things up with my brother.
LIBBY: There will be plenty of time for that.
LUCAS: Oh, great. And doesn't that make your relationship look rock solid.
LIBBY: What does that mean?
LUCAS: It means: be honest with yourself for once.
LIBBY: I don't want to have this conversation.
LUCAS: Lib, Lib...
LIBBY: Just leave me alone.
Lucas takes Libby's face in his hands and apologises for upsetting her. Dan walks in. Libby sees Dan who is furious and lunges at Lucas. Libby steps in the middle, crying, saying this is all her fault, and this is why she didn't want Lucas at the wedding.
Dan walks out, and Libby chases him, saying she loves him. But Dan wants to get away from her.
Cut to later where Libby is making a call to Dan, leaving a message saying she loves him and she needs him to call her. Steph comes over for girly sympathy. Steph wonders if Libby is making a mistake, marrying the wrong brother?
LIBBY: Just go to hell.
Libby walks off, but Steph won't leave it. She tells Lib that she's only saying this because they're friends. Libby accuses her mate of not having the guts to go through with her own wedding... It's all awkward, and Libby tells Steph they are friends, but she is never to talk about Lucas like that again.
LIBBY: I love Dan.
STEPH: Okay. It's not me you need to convince of that...it's yourself.
