Ghostly Marco tells Carmella she has to go to his funeral.
Jay won't let Steph leave the cabin. With Steph lying on the floor, Jay plays with a lighter. Having been busted by Toadie, Jay makes his escapes from the cabin.
Callum spots Jay in the kitchen, and wakes Toadie and Steph.
As Libby comforts Steph from the shock, Callum paces around the room holding a tennis racket. Toadie reappears from the kitchen, but with no luck in finding Jay. Callum is adamant that Jay was there, but Toadie isn't so sure.
TOADIE: Mate, Jay has been caught on security camera, buying a ticket to New South Wales. Why would he be here?
CALLUM: Because he's a psycho looser.
Toadie send Callum off to bed, unsure whether to believe the kid or not. Libby too goes to check on Ben. Toadie comforts Steph as she begins to worry that Jay has come back.
Rebecca and Sienna are watching the news on television. The news reporter reveals that it was Jay who lit the fires and that the police are currently out looking for him. Switching off the television, Rebecca and Sienna decide to leave it till the morning to tell Carmella the news, but it's too late, as Oliver comes storming in, yelling at the top of his voice about Jay. Oliver's rant brings Carmella out of the bedroom and Rebecca is forced to reveal that it was Jay who lit the fire. Subdued, Carmella returns to the bedroom. Rebecca wonders how much more grief her son can bring, but Oliver claims he was just trying to help.
SIENNA: What, by barging in her and ranting about her murdered husband? Nice one.
A phone starts to ring, Carmella comes out to take it and returns to her room.
Arriving in the dark, Carmella creeps around the door. Elle follows closely behind and the two girls jump as they realise one another is there. Carmella reveals that it was Marco's phone that the security company called, and Elle confirms the call out team will be along soon.
Hearing a crash in the kitchen, Elle suggests they wait outside, but Carmella goes to investigate. It seems it was just the specials board falling off the counter. Elle mentions the time, but Carmella is too busy reading Marco's writing on the specials board. They head off.
Next morning, Steph wakes Toadie from the couch, worried that the boys have disappeared. Libby appears and the three head outside.
Steph comes running from the driveway but can't see them anywhere. Libby has checked, and they are not at Susan's. Standing in the middle of the street, Steph begins to panic. However, Callum appears from behind a bush, dressed in army khaki, and gives the instruction for Mickey and Ben to appear from another bush in the Parker's driveway, also dressed for action. Ty appears and informs Steph that Charlie was in the broom cupboard all along.
Toadie asks Callum what is going on, and Callum informs him it's a plan to catch Jay.
CALLUM: We're on patrol. If Jay comes back, we'll see him before he sees us.
BEN: We're going to catch that psycho.
MICKEY: He hurt my mum.
Libby informs the boys that it is not suitable, and takes Ben and Mickey off inside.
Steph is panicking again, and thinks it would be best to leave the street for the time being. Toadie isn't so sure it's a good idea as the police are out looking for him, and reassures her that they will calm the boys down. Libby on the other hand thinks that going to stay with Joe may be Steph's best option, as he is so protective of her.
TOADIE: Yeah, true, your dad can be very scary, especially if you're keen on his daughter.
Steph thanks Toadie for his support.
TOADIE: You are stronger than he is. You don't forget that Scully.
Carmella opens up business for the morning, and hears the chimes that played during the night; she calls out for Marco. Elle arrives looking for Sienna, and is surprised to see Carmella. Carmella apologises about Oliver, but Elle admits she doesn't blame her; she feels sorry for her instead.
ELLE: Yeah, I miss him. I can't imagine how you are feeling.
The chimes ring again and there is another crash in the kitchen. Rushing to see, they notice the specials board on the floor again. Elle finds it spooky while Carmella just smiles. She admits that sometimes it feels like Marco hasn't gone; that his spirit is still about. Elle isn't so sure what to say, so leaves. Carmella rings Marco's mobile and listens to his answer phone message as she looks at the board once more.
Oliver asks Sienna about Carmella, but Sienna is more interested in his love life and questions whether it's really Carmella or Elle he loves.
With the store bustling full of customers, Carmella takes a quick break in the kitchen, and stops to look at Marco's writing on the board: ''Good food is love shared''.
Elle arrives wondering why it's so busy; she suggests that maybe Carmella shouldn't be there and to leave it to the staff. Carmella admits that she needs to; to feel close to Marco.
CARMELLA: I've seen him, Marco, I mean.
ELLE: What, since?
CARMELLA: Before the funeral
ELLE: You talk to him?
ELLE: So how was he?
CARMELLA (smiling): Same old Marco.
She admits she hasn't seen him since the funeral, but that she thought the specials board falling over might have been a sign. Elle grabs an apron, and offers to help out until Sienna arrives.
Lou has accompanied Harold to the bar, but Harold isn't so sure about the whole idea.
LOU: You're just telling stories about me, pretending they are stories about you, to impress a woman you've already lied to. So, what could be more simple?
Harold dispairs as Lou reminds him that he's an art entrepreneur as well as his win on the greyhound racing. Harold points out that Kate will have to learn the truth some time.
LOU: Now you know as well as I do that this is your last chance for romance before you fall off the perch.
Harold doesn't have time to argue as Kate arrives. Lou reveals to Kate how much Harold has been talking about her, and she admits she likes him a lot too. Kate has brought a newspaper with her; she thought they could browse the entertainment section. Harold spots a Gilbert and Sullivan play, but Lou recons they go to the Ute Muster (car show) instead.
With the end of a busy shift over, Sienna announces that it is coffee and cake time. Carmella invites Elle to stay and join them. As Sienna makes the coffee, Elle asks after Carmella. She admits she is okay when she keeps busy, but she daren't stop for what might happen. There is a crash from the kitchen, as Sienna drops the special board. Carmella and Elle rush in to find Sienna has wiped off Marco's message, and also dropped his phone; to a point broken beyond repair. Carmella is distraught and orders Sienna to leave. Elle hugs her.
As Susan arrives, Harold spots her and asks her for advice. She laughs when he informs her of Lou's latest scheme, and encourages Harold to just tell Kate the truth. Harold knows he has to tell her the truth, but he enjoys her company and sees going to the Ute Muster the only way of keeping her friendship.
Elle brings through some coffees. Carmella thanks her and admits that it's hard. Elle remembers how just a sad song or piece of news can start the tears over again. She remembers how they used to be friends and hope maybe they can be there for one another at some point in the future.
Rebecca joins a miserable Oliver on the couch. He admits that someone (Sienna) made a comment about his love life and it got him thinking. He admits he still loves Carmella, but he can't tell her, but he also loves Elle and isn't sure what to do about it. Ty comes over to offer them drinks. Having given him their order, Rebecca suggests they talk it through, right from the beginning.
Ty finds Steph still present at the bar, organising loose ends before she goes away. Steph gives him her dad's phone number and tells him not to tell anyone else where she is. He asks if Toadie is going too, but she informs Ty that Toadie is safe in Ramsay Street. However, Steph remembers some flashbacks and realises that Toadie too may be at risk. Running out of the bar she tells Ty to ring Toadie and warn him of the danger.
Toadie and Callum are talking through the previous night's incidence. Toadie reassures Callum that he believes him, and asks him to talk through the details. As Callum tells Toadie how Jay was wearing a t-shirt and smelt of petrol, Jay, himself, appears in the kitchen.
Taking a pair of scissors of the kitchen table, Jay listens as Toadie talks to Ty on the phone. Hanging up, Toadie asks Callum to go over to the Kennedy's for a while. With Callum gone, Jay appears in the living room, holding the scissors in his hand.
TOADIE: Haven't you done enough damage?
JAY: Not yet.
Toadie starts to tell Jay how pathetic he is when Steph arrives. Toadie goes to grab Jay, but the three end up in a tussle and Jay stabs Steph with the scissors. As Jay makes a run for it, Toadie holds onto Steph and yells out for help.
