Number 22
Rebecca thinks it is a joke but after Susan tells her that it was Lyn that found out, says thinks she is lying. Susan replies that she isn't and that there is evidence. Elle backs up what Susan has said and when Rebecca asks who it was she replies "Kirsten."

Charlie's
Paul and Ollie are having a great time bonding but Declan is sulking because Paul dobbed him in but cheers up when they come to an agreement not to tell Rebecca about the police interview, promising to keep out of trouble for 5 minutes! All 3 now bond over the wedding/Rebecca so Paul proposes a toast "to Rebecca" which they join in with.

Number 22
Elle tries to defend her dad saying it was a one-night stand but Rebecca doesn't believe her.

Number 28
Lyn wants to go and check on Rebecca but Susan stops her. Steph questions if Susan has done the right thing because of Lyn's deal with Paul and thinks he'll be straight on the phone to the police now. "Oh he wouldn't" Lyn says but Steph reminds her it is Paul they are speaking about!

LYN: Look Stephie, I did the wrong thing okay. If I have to I'll pay the price.
STEPH: Oh really? And if the price means spending time in jail? Mum please, I've been there. Can we just get off our high horses and live in the real world for 5 seconds? There was a better way to handle this situation.

That goes down like a lead balloon and Lyn ticks her off for blaming Susan and wishes she'd had the courage to do it herself.

Number 22
Declan and Ollie arrive home minus Paul who is off getting flowers for Rebecca. Ollie spots that she has been crying but before she can say, Rebecca comes down the stairs saying that she needs to talk with Paul. The boys want to know why but Rebecca doesn't want to say and in the end it is Elle who tells what Paul has done. They are stunned and Declan says that he is going to kill Paul and runs out of the house before anyone can stop him. Rebecca asks Ollie to go after him although he is firmly on the side of his brother.

With the boys gone, Rebecca asks Elle to go too so she can sort it out with Paul.

Charlie's
Ty and Rachel are watching some group and when they finish she says that they were good and thanks him for keeping her company because it's the first time she has been out for a while. Ty wishes they could transport themselves out of the bar when he spots an obsessive fan called Donna who won't shut up but I won't bore you all by typing out what drivel she said!

Number 22
Paul arrives home with champers and flowers and thinks his luck is in when Rebecca says she is in the bedroom however when he leans in to kiss her, she flinches and asks if Kirsten likes that as much as she does... or did he do something else to get her going?! Cue the brown stuff hitting the fan!

REBECCA: Are you the same with all your women or do we all get a different Paul? Did I get something special from you or was I just the same as all the rest of them? (Pause) Why?

Paul replies that he doesn't know but she forces him to say something and he comes up the excuse of Kirsten being there when he was insecure because she was neglecting him because of her work. Rebecca asks why he wanted to marry her and scoffs when he replies that he loves her.

PAUL: You have to believe me. I love you more than anything in the world.
REBECCA: Don't insult me!

She reminds him that he knew how her life was before she met him and thought she'd be safe with him.

REBECCA: Everything you touch you wreck it.
PAUL: No, I love you.
REBECCA: Oh you do not. You're not good enough for my sons. You're not good enough for me.

The General Store
Elle & the boys take refuge in the store and they are astounded to discover she knew about the affair but explains that she kept quiet because she wanted a family. To say they are now less amused would be the understatement of the year and to top it all, Ollie calls things off too with her.

OLIVER: I expect this from your dad but not you, I thought you'd changed. (Getting ready to walk out) You guys deserve each other.

Number 22
Rebecca is packing up her things while Paul is begging her to stay - even suggesting she hits him but she continues packing. She scoffs at him when he says that Kirsten meant nothing to him.

REBECCA: I was wondering how long it would take you to say that.
PAUL: It's the truth.
REBECCA: Well that makes it worse doesn't it because at least love would mean something? You know Paul, everyone has silly little daydreams from time to time about someone else but you know decent people know that acting on those feelings is not going to get them a soul mate is it? I was going to be your last great love and you threw it all away didn't you for a moment of passion with Kirsten.
PAUL: That is the biggest mistake I have ever made.
REBECCA: I feel sorry for you Paul; you're never going to be happy.

Paul begs her to stay, saying that he needs her but she replies that she doesn't need him before picking up her belongings and going to walking out. Declan arrives home and she tells him to pack because they are not staying but he wants a word with Paul first.

DECLAN: I felt weird at the pub tonight, I wanted you to know how much I couldn't wait for you to be my dad but it didn't come out right and I felt like and idiot because I really wanted you to know how much I liked you, how much I looked up to you.
PAUL: Sorry.

Declan can't believe that Paul said sorry and pushes him but a bit too hard so much so that Paul ends up flat on his face on the floor and Declan continues with the apologies - sorry because "I thought you were different from the others."

Charlie's
Donna the desperado is still hanging around with Ty and Rachel but they get a bit of relief when she goes to the bar to get drinks. Ty explains to her that she's been hanging around for a year and when DesperadoDonna™ gets back, Rachel swallows her pride and gets up close and personal with Ty as if to suggest they are a couple but DesperadoDonna™ still prattles on. Finally she leaves when Rachel asks if he is coming back to her place or if they should go get a pizza and Ty thanks her for saving him (and us!)

Number 22
Rebecca finishes packing and her parting gift is to throw a picture of the two of them onto the floor before she walks out.

The General Store
Lyn is after a real coffee but Steph is still worried over what happened and Lyn tells her to play nice whatever happens. Cue embarrassed faces when Elle heads out of the kitchen into the store but goes to a table away from where they are standing. Seeing that she is upset, Steph heads over to say that she is sorry over what happened but asks if Paul is going to go to the police. To her relief, Elle says no - Paul has to face up to his mistakes and Lyn breaths a sigh of relief too when Steph returns to tell her.

Susan heads over too, despite Steph saying not to, and Elle isn't glad of her company or her words still peeved at her role in letting the cat out of the bag.

ELLE: Of course, Susan Kinski, moral conscience of Erinsborough.
SUSAN: Rebecca needed to know.
ELLE: And do you feel better?

Susan doesn't reply so Elle addresses the gathered extras in TGS.

ELLE: Everyone relax, Susan's saved the day once again. The bad guys have been punished; let's hear it for Susan, a beacon of righteous light in a dark and scary world.
SUSAN: (sheepishly) I am sorry.
ELLE: (almost whispering to her) We could have sorted this out but you have ruined my family's chance of happiness.

Susan looks for words to reply but none come out so she walks away instead.

Charlie's
Ty and Rachel are trying to get their story straight in case DesperadoDonna™ comes back and speak of the devil she appears but Rachel cuts her return off by kissing Ty! To their relief she exits the bar and after getting a flashback to Angus (she was looking at the ring on her finger that he hid in the letter handed outside the court) says its time for them to call it a night too.

Number 28
Lyn reassures Susan that Elle will be fine even if Susan doesn't think that. A teary Rebecca and Declan arrive seeking a bed for the night and once Declan heads to the bedrooms she breaks down after Lyn points out that at least she found out before they were married!

Number 22
Paul finds Rebecca's parting gift and picks it up off the floor. He is sitting staring into space holding the broken photo when Elle comes home. She picks up a tissue as she heads towards him, thinking that he is upset but he is the exact opposite - angry that she told Rebecca and upset that he can't guarantee her loyalty.

ELLE: How dare you. I kept your disgusting secret, I lied to Rebecca's face and I begged you to end it with Kirsten but what did you do - you go overseas with her?! I covered for you.
PAUL: No. No, you betrayed me.

Elle then remembers that it is her that owns the house and orders her father out and out of her life.

ELLE: Or I'm going to end up like you.
