- Declan falling to the ground during rock climbing.
Rock Climbing Excursion
The Erinsborough High students look on as Declan is taken into an ambulance. A worried Pepper asks whether he's going to okay.
Travel Agent/Rebecchi-Cammeniti
Cheeky Mickey decides to use a pay phone to speak to Ned. An understandably worried and frustrated Ned demands to know where he is. Mickey describes the shop as a 'holiday shop' near the Fish and Chips shop they went to. Kirsten comes out and snatches the phone from Mickey's hand and tells Ned that he needs to trust her. A panicked Kirsten quickly hangs up the phone. Poor little Mickey thinks he's in trouble but Kirsten assures him that he isn't. Back at Rebecchi-Cammeniti a quick thinking Janae manages to put two and two together and realizes where Mickey must be.
Kisten and Mickey drive away from the car park to embark on what Kirsten describes as a 'fun holiday'.
The General Store
Steve is on the phone to Miranda telling how Kirsten has taken Mickey. He assures her that 'they're on to it'. Steve asks what's going on her end but Miranda decides not to give any of the day's events away.
Erinsborough High
A peeved-looking Miranda put the phone down on Steve walks over to where Ringo, Zeke, Rachel and Bridget are sitting. They sense a MirandaMother moment so flee in terror and leave Bridget alone with her. Bridget begs her Mother not to shout at her right now as Pepper's already busted her lung. A groaning Miranda explains that she really doesn't have the energy after everything that's happened.
Erinsborough Hospital
Pepper politely says that she's going to get back to school while Rebecca thanks her for everything she's done. Rebecca decides to check that Declan isn't feeling any pain but Declan insists that he's fine so he walks to go and but his shirt on.
REBECCA: A woman's son falls from a great height. She's allowed to be a little bit worried.
Rebecca believes that Bridget may have deliberately let Declan fall after what happened with Mickey but Declan insists that it isn't the case. A confused Rebecca is shocked at the lack of usual sarcasm from Declan. I think it's Lo-oooo-ve. Walking out of the hospital Rebecca and Declan notice that Oliver is up and out of bed. Don't panic viewers. He's only had a kidney removed by keyhole surgery to give to his evil stalker Father. It's all good. Rebecca seems just as surprised at Oliver's quick recovery as we all are. However, Oliver insists that everything is Ok and assumed that Rebecca wouldn't want him to be under the same roof as Richard. Rebecca in a Natalie Imbruglia kind of way, is 'counting down the days' to Richard's civil trial.
Erinsborough High
Susan ushers Miranda and Bridget to come into the classroom for their meeting on the rock climbing incident. Bridget swiftly asks whether Declan is okay and wants to quickly give her side of the story. Susan assures her that Declan in fine but doesn't want to hear her version of events as she has been 'reckless and foolish'. Miranda defends Bridget and believes that Declan is holding some sort of grudge against her family but Susan isn't having any of it. Miranda sees the consent forms with her forged signature on it before sternly looking at a sulking Bridget.
Travel Agent
Ned, Janae, Toadie and a random Lou rush to get into their cars. They have knowledge of Kirsten taking the bus to Brisbane. It seems she tried to fool them into assuming that she would go to Adelaide. The bus leaves in twenty minutes.
Erinsborough High
Bridget sits and sulks outside her classroom while Miranda tries to argue her way out of Bridget receiving a 4 day suspension but a relentless Susan can only offer a 'leave with me' remark as Rebecca comes in to collect Declan's school bag (PLEASE NOTE: She isn't crying). Rebecca apologizes to Miranda but Becca insists that Declan is as much to blame as anyone. The three women introduce themselves to each other with laughing comments.
MIRANDA: Well I gather out kids are both going the difficult teen thing at the moment.
REBECCA: Yeah, I'll be spending a bit of time in the principles office with everyone else. (Hysterical Laughing).
BRIDGET: Why are they all laughing?
Miranda invites Rebecca along with Karl and Susan for dinner tonight before Suse and Becca go searching for Declan's bag. Miranda walks over to see Bridget and reminds her that she won't be getting out of her stupidity.
The Bus Station
Ned, Lou and Janae drive into the bus stop wondering about what Kirsten might do next. Janae spots Kirsten and Mickey about to walk onto the bus. Mickey pleads with his Mother not to go as he wants to stay in Melbourne. Meanwhile, Janae convinces Ned to let her go over to Mickey and Kirsten on her own and she 'wants to set things right'. As Janae walks over to them Kirsten is re-assuring Mickey that he'll have fun in Brisbane and that he'll make some new friends. Mickey however seems more concerned about Jake. As Janae approaches further Mickey notices her and runs over to her. A frustrated yet understanding Janae begs Kirsten not to go and suggests that they should talk.
Ned, Toadie and Lou watch on as Janae continues her plead to Kirsten. A nearly crying Kirsten believes that he belongs with her but Janae tries to convince her otherwise. Kirsten nearly breaks down when telling Janae how much it hurt to hear from the Psychologist that he didn't want to live with her. She then decides that she still want to leave so makes for the bus. Mickey on the other hand has other plans, he runs over to Janae and tells his Mummy off.
MICKEY: No! I'm not going. I know that this isn't a holiday, Mum. I know what you're doing and I want to go back to Jake and School and Tyler and Dad.
Mickey runs over to his Dad who promptly picks him up for a hug. Janae cries as she watches Father and Son reunited.
Erinsborough Hospital
An unsuspecting Carmella stumbles across Ollie who is checking out of the hospital. She doesn't seem to understand how they could be letting him go already. Ollie insists that he'd rather be at home to rest rather than be close to Richard. The conversation quickly changes as Carmella reveals that she has a 'brand spanking new apartment'. She also reveals the new 3D ultra sound on a disc. Again, the conversation between them quickly turns . . . . to sex. They both decide that they don't want to know the sex of the baby until he or she is born.
The General Store
Bridget arrives through the shop store just missing Karl annoying Harold by talking about 'entrails'. A cranky Didge reveals that she's been sent home early but she's sure that they both probably know that already. Karl asks what's going on but Didge doesn't want to say anything as Karl is 'married to my teacher and besties with my Dad'. Well that showed him! She backs down and tells Karl that she's sick of being told who to be and that she feels guilty. After remembering what filthy mood she's meant to be in she storms out leaving a huffy puffy Karl.
No. 22
Declan opens the door to Bridget who quickly apologizes and is glad that he is okay. However, she doesn't want him to stick up for her with Justin(e) anymore. Declan seems more concerned with Didge's hand and whether or not she got rope burn but she insists that she is doing fine. Didge spots Rebecca at the door so quickly bolts away. Rebecca is now making sense of the situation and knowingly smiles as she shuts the door.
No. 26
Karl, Susan, Miranda and Steve are chatting away as Rebecca comes through the door. Talk quickly turns to the rock climbing excursion as the adults head into the kitchen. Bridget listens on in the living area as Karl explains that she seemed a little weird in The General Store. Miranda desperately wants her to stop the tomboy image that she's portraying. Susan comforts Miranda by saying that all kids get confused trying to find their place in the world. A smiling Rebecca reminds her that adults also have the same problem. That woman is on a role!
Ned, Janae, Mickey, Toadie and Lou run in to find an upbeat greeting from everyone. They're all happy that Mickey is now safe at home. Mickey notices a weird smell and comments that Jake must have rolled in something. They all squirm before laughing. Poor Jake!
Charlie's
Carmella and Ollie walk in disappointed that the tenants in her 'brand spanking new' apartment haven't left yet. Ollie doesn't seem to mind though as he suggests that now that they can watch the 3D ultrasound. The conversation goes back to Carmella's apartment before it's revealed that Ollie wasn't impressed with the outside of the apartment, especially the car with no tires. Carmella doesn't seem worried though as the inside is 'so retro'. Pepper comes along and butts in on Ollie explaining that he doesn't think that it's a good apartment for Carmella to raise their child. He's concerned about the health and safety of their baby. A rightfully angry Carmella insists that she can make her own decisions and that she does care for the welfare of her baby. Ollie wants to forget about their conversation and so suggests they go and watch the 3D ultra sounds together. However, Carmella is no longer in the mood and wants Ollie to watch it on his own.
No. 26
Didge and Mickey are in the living room blowing bubbles into what looks like chocolate milkshake while Susan, Ned and Toadie gossip about Kirsten. Over in the kitchen Miranda and Steve discuss Bridget's antics at school. Steve thinks that Bridget thinks that Miranda would have preferred a different kind of talking. On track? Good. Miranda insists that she loves Bridget for who she is.
Karl, Harold and Lou are on the other side of the kitchen discussing golf. Karl knows that Lou has been giving Susan tips so not-so-discreetly gives Lou $50 to hear some tips as well. Harold is appalled that Lou would drive a wedge between a married couple. Harold, doesn't know where to begin with Karl!
Over in the living room Mickey demands that Ned and Toadie find Janae as her favourite show is on. Didge and Mickey continue to blow bubbles.
Ramsay Street
Janae wipes away some tears as Ned and Toad walk over. Janae says that she hasn't forgotten that their favourite show is on and that she'll be there in a minute. Ned holds her as Toadie walks away.
No. 26
The dinner party leaves as Steve suggests that they all go and play cricket in the backyard. A worried Rebecca says that she'll 'give it a go'.
Didge and Miranda are left to do the dishes as Miranda talks about whether she is being bullied at school. She asks if it's was Declan who said something that upset her but Didge says no and storms off before being confronted by Mother 'Your grounded because I say so' Miranda who hugs her as Didge begins to cry. Didge reveals that she's so sick of everyone as well as herself. Miranda realizes that she's the problem.
MIRANDA: Remember all those horrible shopping trips I took you on? We always ended up giving each other the silent treatment. . . . . . Your funny, spontaneous and utterly fearless. You're so strong and so confident in yourself. You know exactly who you are.
After commenting that Bridget is 'ace' a tearful Didge hugs her Mum. Awww.
Ramsay Street
Ned, Janae, Mickey and Kirsten are hanging out by Kirsten's car having a surprisingly civil conversation. Noble Janae offers Kirsten a place to stay but Kirsten insists that she really must be getting back and that Mickey was right to be telling 'Mummy' off as she'd been very naughty. Two smacks on the bottom for you missy! Janae reassures Kirsten that they all want her to be big part of Mickey's life. Ned offers to help her set up at a place nearby so that she can see him more often. Kirsten accepts but only after she 'gets her head together'. She reveals that she's made Tim drop everything and insists she gets going. Ned tells her that they'll send photo's every week and they'll do the best they can to look after Mickey.
MICKEY: This doesn't mean I don't love you.
They hug.
KIRSTEN: I know. I'm going to think about you ever day. And when it's your bed time, I'm going to give you a stack of special goodnight kisses. (To Janae and Ned) Mickey is so lucky to have you guys.
Mickey and Kirsten say how much they love each other before she drives off and he is left in Ned and Janae's arms.
