Recap
Zeke asking Lolly if she'd like to go for a swim.
Karl realising that Charlotte is a fake.
Boyd telling Charlotte that Paul has an acoustic neuroma; Charlotte being glad it's not a brain tumour. Boyd telling Charlotte that an acoustic neuroma *is* a brain tumour.
Boyd demanding to know what's going on with Charlotte.
The Surgery
Boyd realises that Charlotte isn't a qualified doctor, and she admits it. He realises also that she didn't know how to treat her patients and was using him to do it.
The General Store
Pepper tells Harry and Lou how bad she feels not telling anyone about Mary - she put baby Kerry at risk as a result. Harry tells Pepper that actually Mary protected Kerry, helped Sky to remember the incident, and now she's getting the treatment she's always needed. So all's well that ends well.
Pepper leaves, and Ringo offers to walk her home. Rachel, Zeke and Lolly sit at the table and Rachel thinks it's good that Ringo is such a nice, sensitive guy; Zeke just makes fun of him.
Number 28
Karl and Susan decide to call the police about Charlotte. Frazer, Rosie, Steph and Toadie all realise that she could have damaged hundreds of patients. Steph freaks out about Charlie not having his vaccinations and being open to infection; Karl offers to check him out. Exeunt.
Rosie and Susie discuss the issue of Paul and Carmella having no guidance, and realising that if Paul dies, Charlotte could be up for murder. Rosie asks Frazer where she lives, and he doesn't know...Rosie thinks she could check it out at the surgery, but Toadie advises her against it - let the police deal with it.
The Surgery
Charlotte tells Boyd she got such a rush from people thinking she was a great doctor and looking up to her. Boyd thinks she would have been a good doctor had she been one, because people opened up to her. She goes to her office and takes her bag, and thinks Boyd should call the police. Boyd says he can't.
Number 30
Ringo wants to know why Pepper didn't tell him about the incident with Mary. She tells him that it was too hard, and he really sympathises with her. She tells him that she's just dealing with it now - and she managed to tell him the whole story without breaking down once which is progress! Ringo promises to be there for her.
Number 28
Harry turns up with Baby Kerry in tow. He thanks them for telling him about Charlotte, and wants to know if it's all true; Karl confirms it. Harry can't believe it - she was so professional!
Susan asks after Sky, and Harold tells her that Sky's still really positive - she's a remarkable young woman. He admits that he's tired and needs a break from the whole situation, and the Kennedys offer to help by taking care of Kerry or the store. Can you imagine Karl and Susan running the store together!? They'd be hilarious!
Rosie asks Harold if he was one of Doctor Stone's victims, and Harold says no - Boyd did his blood test. Rosie ponders on the fact that Charlotte and Boyd must have had to consult each other quite a bit... Steph immediately leaps in: Boyd would never hurt or deceive anyone. (Except Sky and Janae and Glenn, all of whom he was in love with prior to Charlotte.) Rosie's not so sure, and Toadie backs her up - it's very possible that on some level Boyd knew about it, and Steph should prepare herself for that.
Two policemen come over to get statements from everyone.
The General Store
Lolly is on her laptop, telling Zeke that the Rate My Body Part website hits are going through the roof - it must be his hot belly button! Ewww!
Rachel takes Lolly aside and reminds her that Zeke really, really likes her - and she's leading him on. Lolly declares that they're just good mates, and Rachel tells her that she doesn't want Zeke to get his heart broken.
Zeke's now looking at BUNS and reading out some stories which aren't topical news ones that Rachel wanted. She thinks it should be an intelligent site, not trashy! She reminds her brother that as Ringo said, just because it's popular it doesn't make it good. Zeke mocks Ringo, and his apparent caring for others.
ZEKE: Ringo only cares about Ringo.
RACH: That is so not true! You know, if you weren't so up yourself, you'd probably learn something from him.
Zeke thinks that Ringo's sensitivity is an act - Rachel should check out the copy of 'All Her' magazine at their house; that will tell her everything she needs to know.
Number 28
The police are taking statements from everyone - and everyone else is listening in around the table. Surely you'd do this one on one, so that no-one can influence what someone else is saying, and corroborate the stories??!
Anyway. What do I know.
They agree that they don't know much about Charlotte - except Frazer - and Steph leaves whilst no-one's looking.
The Surgery
Charlotte is clearing up, and Boyd tells her that he's going with her. They've both stuffed up their lives, and everyone here hates him since he split with Janae. They can start over, change their names and become different people. Charlotte isn't sure that this is a good idea, but Boyd's phone rings. It's Steph, who's outside number 28. She warns Boyd about Charlotte, and Boyd says he knew nothing about it, and has no idea where Charlotte is. He hangs up.
He tells Charlotte that everyone knows.
Number 30
Pepper is lying on the sofa with her legs across Ringo's lap. She thinks that everything she touches stuffs up, despite her having great parents and a good education. She wanted to be a teacher, then got charged for hitting a student. She dates men and ends up being a flake or a user.
Ringo says that her pretending to be with Frazer got her into this house and got her some good friends, so she didn't stuff that up. She has good friends and family! Pepper agrees with that, but admits that she has to get through tonight - Rosie's not going to be around. Ringo suggests she and he have a slumber party in the lounge together tonight so she doesn't have to be alone.
There's a knock at the door and it's Rach, with a magazine in hand. He's so sprung.
The Surgery
Boyd is printing off the patient contact details (so he can contact patients and tell them to see a real doctor). He tells Charlotte to meet him back here in half an hour. He tells Charlotte that they're friends - they'll face this together.
Number 30
Rachel thinks that Ringo has been laughing at her with his sensitive act. He admits that it was a bit of a joke at first, but now he's started talking about his feelings, he really quite likes it!
RINGO: Look, it's taken me seventeen years, but I'm finally starting to figure out who I really am.
RACH: What?
RINGO: It's corny, I know.
RACH: You're seventeen? You told me you were sixteen!
RINGO: I didn't actually tell you, you just kind of assumed.
RACH: You are unbelievable.
She storms off. And a weird cartoon voice tells us that "she's mad."
The General Store
Lolly tells Bree that she just wants Zeke to feel part of things, and that she's not cracking onto him or taking sides since the break up. Bree said she never thought that anyway, so Lolly retorts that she's just repeating what Rachel told her.
Rachel turns up, and tells the girls what Ringo just said to her, and tells them that he lied about his age. Lolly suggests it's because he was kept down a year. Unfortunately Rachel didn't know about that, either.
RACHEL: I've just been having a relationship with a liar!
ZEKE: He only did it because he didn't know how to talk to you.
RACHEL: I don't think I asked for your opinion, Zeke.
ZEKE: Those quizzes were his way of working you out.
RACHEL: Well he should have just come to me! I mean, am I that unapproachable??!
BREE: ...
ZEKE: Yeah.
RACHEL: Look, I know that everybody jokes about me being bossy...
BREE: No!
LOLLY: Not at all!
Bree tells Rachel that Ringo is on her side, but doesn't know how to talk to her. She needs to teach him!
Number 30
Frazer wants to go and find Charlotte as he thinks the police will take too long, but Pep and Rosie stop him - she doesn't know the police are onto her, and if Frazer confronts her it will tip her off. Frazer wishes he'd said something earlier about his suspicions.
Ringo mourns on the sofa that all women leave anyway, and all women throw things back in your face...!
FRAZER: I didn't want to be reminded of what I was like when I was with Charlotte.
PEPPER: You thought if you ignored it, that it might go away...
RINGO: It never goes away.
ROSIE / PEPPER / FRAZER: Shut up, Ringo!
Pepper and Rosie tell Frazer not to blame himself; he, after all, has lots of evidence to present the police with.
The General Store
Lou tells Rachel, Bree, Lolly and Zeke to start clearing up. Boyd comes in, and asks Lou to do him a favour - he gives Lou a letter to give to Steph, but not until tomorrow. Lou promises to do the honours.
Lou clears up the sugar shakers, and Bree comments that it's weird someone died in here. She wonders which one is the murder weapon. Lou tells her the police have it, and another one was stolen, at which Boyd's ears prick up. He remembers Charlotte cleaning one just like in the surgery, with gloves on... And he also remembers Charlotte asking him to pass her the sugar shaker so now his own prints are on it...
Rachel asks Lou if he'll do an interview for the blogzine - one about the ramifications of the murder on the business community here. He takes her Dictaphone and says that Rachel is arrogant and insensitive, and should have thought about Sky before thinking of her blogzine. He refuses to comment further and Rachel walks out.
The Surgery
Boyd comes in and checks that Charlotte's not around. He checks out Harold's medical file, which has lots of notes about Madge, Kerry (daughter), David, Lil and Serena. Why on earth would Harry's medical notes have information about his family's deaths!?
Charlotte has highlighted the relevant details, the ones that were then recited to Harry by Terrence... Sky's records are also similar.
Charlotte suddenly returns, and asks if the police turned up. Boyd tells her no, and they leave together.
Cut to later, and the Kennedys, Rosie and Frazer are in Charlotte's office, rifling through her files and notes - the police gave them permission. Frazer thinks Charlotte wanted money, but Karl retorts that a GP doesn't earn that much. Rosie thinks she had a God complex, and enjoyed the status. Karl disagrees - treating sinusitis and blisters doesn't really do that for you.
Random Car Park
Charlotte's in the car, and Boyd gets in to join her. His phone rings, and it's Steph. Boyd ignores it, telling Charlotte that they're in this together. She tells Boyd that he can't ever go back. He knows that, and kisses her.
The Surgery
Toadie is rifling through files, now, and sees his and Susan's - highlighted with information on Dee and Alex's deaths. Toadie puts two and two together and realises that this is all about Terrence - Charlotte was feeding him information.
Steph runs in with Boyd's letter - he and Charlotte are leaving, to better their lives, and to make up for the mess they've caused for everyone else. No-one can believe it.
Shot of Boyd and Charlotte driving out of a car park.
