Recap
Ringo telling Lolly she has to put a stop to the abuse.
Some kid telling Zeke his 'granddad' has arrived and Karl shaving off the beard.
Ringo spotting Rosie and Pepper kissing.
No. 30 backyard
Rosie delivers Pepper a package someone delivered (a teddy bear) and persuades Rosie to put some more sun tan oil onto her back. It all looks a bit too much for Frazer when he comes out to the balcony and hastens a quick retreat back inside and it looks like Rosie was perhaps enjoying the "massaging" in bit to a naked Pepper that she too retreats inside on the pretence of cooking food.
No. 24
Lolly isn't pleased to see that Sandy has arrived when she comes home with Ringo. To her relief though their meeting is quickly over when Lou offers to give her directions to get the car repaired. Ringo remarks to her that Sandy is different to how he imagined her and Lolly replies that she has everyone fooled, so he urges her to tell about the abuse today...or he will.
LOLLY: No. Sandy is going to pay for what she's done.
No. 28
Karl lets rip Rachel and Bree for the party, especially the water wastage and don't accept their reasoning that it was Zeke's idea. Bree manages to take the heat off them by bringing up the fact money will be tight if they go away, and Susan mentions that she won't be getting paid and that Mal is renovating for the next few weeks too, so freebie accommodation is out. While the girls escape, Karl decides to look into the finances.
No. 30
Ringo is horrified to come home to find Frazer watching a Doris Day movie, telling him to get over the whole Rosie/Pepper thing especially since the girl he likes, likes males except him! Frazer is very despondent and even Ringo's offer to go out isn't cheering him up.
No. 24
Lolly is looking up brakes on the internet and almost gets caught when she doesn't hear Harold enter the house. Bearing her chat with Ringo, she tries to tell Harold but he brushes her off because he is busy getting things to take to Sky at the hospital, telling her to chat to Sandy instead. With him away, she resumes her research.
No. 30
Pepper interrupts Frazer and Rosie's "sly looks" when she asks if re-packing the teddy she got earlier would be okay but Frazer's 'no' comments has her heading back outside to top up her tan. This earns him Rosie's wrath when Pepper leaves and he snipes back that he'd rather they didn't "flaunt" their relationship in front of him especially since she doesn't live here anymore. Rosie hasn't of course got a clue what he is going on about bar to say she will continue to call round given Pepper is her friend and that she is still paying rent. Before he leaves to get ready for going out with Ringo, much to her bemusement, he has another go at her for how much he is hurting and sarcastically adds that it will take longer for him to move on unlike her.
No. 28
Looks like its bad news for the Kennedy trip because the figures have made grim reading, despite the changes Karl has put into their lifestyle of late, with Susan adding she'll have to put her name into the ring to be the new Principal. Karl is surprised at this because of her stance that she didn't want to stop being a class teacher and begins to feel guilty for giving up medicine.
KARL: I will get a job.
Susan scoffs at this suggestion, asking him where he will get a job!
Law offices
Looks like Karl is after his old stomping ground as he creeps into the offices of Tim Collins & Associates. Fear not, he doesn't want to be back as a doctor but as their receptionist! Rosie is stunned when he hands over his CV, not because he used to be a doctor but that he can't do the job, so he asks to be allowed to prove her wrong. They get chatting about the real reason he wants the job and it is so that Susan doesn't have to do a job she really doesn't want to do and pleads for him to be given a chance.
Garage
Sandy spots Lolly looking at a car and accuses her of following her, which Lolly denies, before Sandy puts her cards on the table - she doesn't want to be in Erinsborough, they don't like each other so they need to avoid each other as much as possible...or there will be trouble!
The phone rings another mechanic (not Janae or Chris) goes to answer the phone and Lolly opens the car and pops the bonnet open...once she found the instructions!
Hospital
Susan, Harold, Bree and Rachel have finished giving blood samples to see if they are a match for Kerry but Bree points out that there are potential family members missing who could be a match and asks if he has heard from Loris lately. He brushes her off and the girls go off to work on the blogzene but Susan is wise and quizzes him about it and eventually he is forced to say that Loris is on a mission but feels that someone already tested may be a match rather than having to rely on Loris.
Scarlet Bar
Ringo's plan to cheer Frazer up has worked - bonding over watching the Tigers in an AFL match - until some random guy bumps into Frazer and the guy asks if Frazer is going to rough him up with his handbag! "I might just do that mate" he says until Ringo separates them which he does for all of a minute until the handbags at two paces are drawn again.
No. 30
Safely back home, Ringo has a go at his brother for getting into a scuffle with a Collingwood fan (they hate Tigers fans apparently).
FRAZER: (In a deep voice) Man's got to do what a man's got to do.
RINGO: Sweet, get beaten into a pulp.
Rosie interrupts their chat to tell Ringo that Lolly is looking for him and he departs to leave Rosie to tend to Frazer's wounds. She enquires about his injuries and he explains after apologising to her, adding that love makes you do crazy things. They almost end up kissing but Pepper arrives home and Rosie quickly departs.
Rosie enquires if they were just about to kiss but he replies that he isn't a lunchcutter.
PEPPER: What?
Glad she said that because I don't know what he is meaning. He tells her that he knows about her and Rosie and them kissing. She doesn't seem to be treating it as something big and confirms his question that they did kiss, but adds that it was because they were emotional about how useless they are when it comes to men.
FRAZER: So you two are not???
PEPPER: No.
The penny drops for Frazer but Pepper is stunned to find out how far news of her "relationship" has been spread but cheering her not up is the news Janelle has promised not to spread it around!
Lassiter's Complex
Harold brings Sandy her coffee and introduces Susan to her. Susan wastes no time in bringing up the allegation about Pepper that Lolly made and wonders if there is a bigger picture that they are all missing. Sandy doesn't like what Susan is getting at especially when Susan brings John's name into it and gets up to go inside the store just as Harold brings out a coffee for Susan from the other door. Susan plays it cool when Harold thinks that Sandy is such a lovely person.
No. 28
Bree and Rachel are deciding on pics for the blogzene and when Ringo's one comes onscreen, Bree wastes no time in telling Rachel to go out with the guy. Her persistence has worn Rachel down and she agrees to go and talk to Ringo about going out on a date just as Karl and Susan arrive home, with Karl telling Susan about his new job. Susan questions if he has the temperament for the job and having to take orders from Toadie but he just thinks it will be great.
Ramsay Street
Ringo is not impressed to hear that Lolly has sabotaged a car...Sandy's car! She reminds him that he said she had to fix it, but told in no uncertain terms sabotage wasn't part of the equation given the consequences and that she should tell Sandy what has happened. Lolly just about freaks out at that suggestion as speak of the devil, Sandy arrives home in the car.
LOLLY: She didn't crash.
RINGO: This is the luckiest break ever.
He then says that it is obviously a sign that she has to confront Sandy today but Lolly doesn't want to, so he holds out his hand and says she doesn't have to do it alone. Together they head inside holding each other just as Bree and Rachel appear. Both girls are stunned at what they've seen and Rachel wishes she'd made her move earlier but in the meantime gives Bree the laptop and decides to go and apologise to him for being so awful.
Law offices
Pepper calls round and blurts out that Ringo saw them kiss and that Frazer thinks they are a couple. The penny is dropping too with Rosie so she now knows what Frazer was going on about. Pepper then adds more - that the news is out to just about the whole of Ramsay Street - although he promises to set the record straight.
Pepper tells Rosie she should get round to No. 30 and tell Frazer how she feels but is stunned to hear that Rosie is having doubts about how she feels for Frazer following their kiss. This isn't washing with Pepper though and tells her friend she isn't fooling anyone.
No. 24 backyard/inside
Sandy cleans out the pool and Harold is grateful for her help. He asks if things are okay between her and Lolly and Sandy puts a rosy picture on things...until he walks away and the she starts to scowl.
Inside No. 24, Lolly is psyching herself up to talk to Sandy and Ringo tells her he'll be waiting for her, adding while hugging her that he is so proud of her and that things will be fine.
Back at the pool and the look on Sandy's face when Lolly calls out her name, looks like she's been waiting for this confrontation.
Inside the house, Ringo lets Rachel enter and she wastes no time in apologising to him for how she has been treating him. He brushes her off, saying now isn't the time and she wonders where Lolly is.
Back outside, Lolly tells Sandy that Ringo knows everything and she accuses her of lying before making it abundantly clear she isn't to tell anyone else.
Inside, Rachel is furious at him for letting Lolly confront Sandy by herself but he thinks it is important that Lolly stand up for herself.
Outside the two of them are edging closer to each other (and the pool), neither willing to back down on their stance or Sandy worried that Lolly will tell everyone/the authorities until finally Sandy goes to slap Lolly but as she leans back to miss the slap, Sandy's follow through results in her falling in the water and the screen goes to black with Sandy lying face down in the water making no attempt to right herself.
