Guy telling Katya that she has no choice but to trust him.
Katya beating Ned up and leaving him lying while she steals another car.
Boyd telling Elle he's getting suspicious about her “charity”.
Steph kissing Toadie and Boyd seeing it.
Steph breaks off from kissing Toadie and notices Boyd standing in the doorway. He doesn't say anything except to give her a dirty look before leaving. Steph quickly gets off the sofa to run after him and Toadie says that they'll work it out but Steph is questioning her self already about how stupid she had been before heading off to catch up with Boyd.
Karl spots Ned lying on the ground and runs over to him but sadly he's come round so we'll have to put the champers back on ice. He tells Karl that someone banged him when they were trying to steal a car but didn't notice who did it. Karl is very upset but not about Neddy – it was his car that was nicked – before helping Ned up so they can call the police back at the surgery while patching him up.
Road outside Grease Monkey's
Katya stops the car and takes a few deep breaths. She then sees Karl's work ID card and realises whose car she has just nicked but she doesn't have much time to think as she hears sirens so quickly takes off.
Boyd has obviously told Janae what he witnessed and remarks that it didn't take Steph long to move on and tells Boyd what will happen to him if he ever cheated on her (slapping him so hard). Janae then announces that they have to move out because she doesn't fancy living in the same house with “Toadie and Steph carrying on”. Boyd is a bit reluctant to agree with his wife, saying that he is still needed at No. 32 and what would Max think if he walked out on Steph and Charlie.
JANAE: I think he'd be more concerned with the friend that is cutting his grass.
Steph arrives at the bar and wants to have a word in private with Boyd and he follows her into the office.
In the office, Steph is just starting on her speech to Boyd when surprisingly he tells her to relax and tells her how he called it – she being upset and Toadie providing comfort to her. Steph looks like she doesn't know what to say before reaffirming to Boyd that she loves Max and that it won't happen again.
BOYD: It can't.
STEPH: I know.
BOYD: And Toadie has to move out.
Steph asks Boyd not to blame Toadie because she was the one who instigated it but he repeats his demand – Toadie has to go and if she won't he will. Steph agrees to this demand and promises to clean up the mess.
Pepper looks at through the various engagement presents that she got including a silver candleholder from her dad accompanied with a lovely note. Rosie asks if she feels guilty for accepting these presents under a false pretences but Pepper doesn't feel guilty and hopes that they will actually turn out to be real engagement presents…once she's made Frazer realise what a good thing a real engagement would be and at the same time got Will interested in Rosie!
PEPPER: Will for you, Frazer for me.
ROSIE: You're unbelievable.
PEPPER: Do you want to be a spinster for the rest of your life?
Pepper than announces that the plan will commence tomorrow.
Karl gives Ned the once over and the sad news he only has a concussion and not giving him a chance to object, tells him that he needs to be monitored and that will be done at No. 28 so he can get some personal attention from his loving girlfriend who just so happens to be a nurse.
While Karl is finishing off with Ned, Toadie enters the premises and hides his things in his office just as Ned and Karl come out of the surgery wondering why he is there. He turns the question round and asks them and is brought up to date before they leave.
Katya is driving around trying to evade being caught from the police and is eventually abandons the car and takes off on foot with the police following in hot pursuit.
Boyd silently creeps into No. 22 and comes across a photo of Paul and Elle and smashes it but before he can do any more smashing, he hears a noise and hides out in the utility room when Lyn and Elle let themselves in through the front one. Elle is suspicious though as she thought she heard a noise and Lyn asks if she gets spooked without a man being in the house before reminding her that Paul will be home soon enough.
The two ladies head upstairs to bed and Boyd creeps back into the house and takes Elle's car key off the bunch of keys along with a card from her wallet. Elle's phone starts to ring but thankfully for him, she doesn't hear it.
Katya has made it safely home and is dressed for bed when Karl and Ned enter. They tell her what happened and she make it sound like she is so shocked and just as she is dishing out some TLC, Karl's phone rings. He takes the call and Ned isn't making complimentary comments on the persons (he thinks there were 2 of them) who attacked him and Katya doesn't exactly help herself when she tried to defend the persons that attacked him. Karl comes off the phone and gives them the good news – his car has been found and it is being for dusted for prints to catch the culprits. Katya looks worried.
No. 22 (early next morning)
“Honey I'm home” shouts Paul as he enters No. 22 and receives a hug from Lyn, who has been missing him, glad that absence does seem to have made the heart grow fonder. Lyn picks up that he seems a bit unsure of himself and he explains that while he was away he had time to evaluate their relationship. “Should I be worried?” asks Lyn and after a few seconds he says that she shouldn't be.
Elle arrives down the stairs to hug her dad and he wonders why she didn't pick him up at the airport. She doesn't have a clue what he is going on about and Paul says that he sent her a text message last night and she replied saying that she'd pick him up. This is of course news to Elle, and Paul shows her the text and tells Paul she didn't send it. He is like ‘whatever' and leaves her to it, to head into the kitchen and notices the photo frame in the bin.
Elle thinks this is evidence that there was someone here last night and tells Paul of her suspicions but Lyn thinks it may have been Oscar who broke the frame.
PAUL: Elle, what sort of intruder breaks into homes, smashes a picture and then sends a very polite text message?
Elle still thinks something is suspicious while Paul announces breakfast is on him.
While Rosie is getting ready for work, Pepper is trying to convince her to take time off so they can go to the shops but she doesn't think Toadie will let her have the time off. Karl arrives in a very good mood and fails when he tries to practice the Italian he is learning on the ladies.
Rosie says ciao to him before turning and opening the door to the office and rudely waking Toadie up, wanting to know why he is there. He feigns that he was working late and must have dosed off yet it appears he has no clothes on. This is confirmed and Rosie tells him to get some clothes on as clients will be arriving soon and she is going to go off and get some supplies while he dresses.
She closes the door and it opens again two seconds later and Steph gets an eyeful she wishes she hadn't seen!
Elle makes her way out of the house and is stunned when her car isn't waiting for her. From the bottom of the driveway Boyd asks if she is missing something. Elle walks down the driveway and asks Boyd where her car is.
BOYD: How would I know?
ELLE: My car keys are missing and I know you broke the photo and I know you used my phone.
BOYD: Elle are you alright? You sound a bit paranoid.
ELLE: You broke into my house last night and you've taken my car.
BOYD: Hey careful. Now you are starting to sound like a crazy person.
ELLE: Whatever it is you are playing at you can quit it right now.
BOYD: Shush, you'll wake the baby. You see he's a light sleeper not like a couple of months ago when he'd just about sleep through about anything. You could pick him up and move him and he wouldn't make a sound. Why don't you try looking for your car where Cam had his accident? I mean that is where dad's stolen car turned up. It's a long shot but it's worth the try.
Elle doesn't like what Boyd has just said and orders him to stay away from her.
BOYD: Or what? You'll tell daddy? Go ahead. He'd like to hear why big bad Boyd's been annoying you and I'm sure he'd love to hear the reason for it.
Steph is feeling guilty because of Toadie sleeping on the floor (thankfully he is now fully dressed) but he reminder her that he was there too and asks if she regrets it? “Only if it's ruined our friendship,” she replies and Toadie tries to joke it off by telling her he is make of stronger stuff than that. She hopes he isn't lying to her, adding that he is really good for her atm…except if you add champagne to her being upset. Toadie accepts her apology and jokes that she is acting like she took advantage of him.
TOADIE: I enjoyed it. I've been wanting to do that for a while.
TOADIE: I've fallen for your Steph.
TOADIE: Yes I know, we're friends.
STEPH: Yes and I'm married.
TOADIE: Yes and I really shouldn't have told you that but I just can't pretend. It's too hard.
STEPH: I don't know what to say.
TOADIE: Could say you feel the same way.
Steph then decides that it is time she left and Toadie now tries to say he was joking because he knows the score although when Steph leaves it looks like he wants to kick himself up the backside with a size 10 boot.
Paul is pacifying someone on the phone when Elle comes into the livingroom and when he hangs up, angrily tells her she has 5 seconds to explain all before he blows his stack. Elle wants to know what the matter is and he tells her that she sent an explicit email to their entire client base and everyone has been phoning to complain. She denies sending an email and he informs her it came from her email address and again she denies sending the email and suggests that it must have been done behind her back. Paul wants her to rat anyone who has been giving her a hard time inside the company so he can personally deal with it.
PAUL: I'd have more respect for you if you'd just own up to your mistake.
Elle doesn't look at all impressed at what her dad has just said while he fields another irate caller.
Boyd decides to make use of the card he took from Elle by ordering something on the phone but Janae's early arrival back springs him. He wonders why she is here because he thought she'd be spending time with her family. She points out that he too is family but isn't impressed when he rejects her advances and wants to know what is going on. Boyd replies back that he's got a lot on his mind but turns down her invitation to talk about it now.
Pepper and Rosie admire the lingerie they've just bought although Rosie isn't impressed at how much it cost despite supposedly being on sale. Pepper wants Rosie to try the goods on now in the kitchen, which Rosie flatly reuses to do, instead choosing to go to the bedroom instead.
Paul is staring into space while Lyn tries to talk business and she thinks he is worried about the email problem and he eventually puts it down to jetlag. Lyn tries to tell him that Loris is becoming a problem even though Paul doesn't think so, and suggests they need to get Mr 2 percent out of the closet and onside. He is like Mr 2 percent and she wonders if he left his business brain behind in the States.
PAUL: I really love you Lyn.
LYN: And I love you too.
LYN: That's great.
PAUL: I really, really do.
LYN: Paul, please if there's something you've got to say can you just say it.
Paul is about to say something then decides he has a business meeting to attend leaving Lyn rather frustrated.
Elle swaps places with her dad, finishing her call asking that the card stolen be cancelled and replaced. Lyn asks if Elle's noticed that Paul doesn't seem to be quite right since he came back from America, which she can totally agree with.
Pepper waits for Rosie to return and when she does enter the kitchen she has her dressing gown on but does admire the stuff Pepper bought and how it looks on her. Rosie reluctantly removes the dressing down and Pepper gives her loads of compliments but she thinks it is too small.
PEPPER: It's perfect. Your man will not be able to resist the lure of lingerie.
Neither were bargaining on Ned being the one to see them in their sexy lingerie but he doesn't seem to notice their state of undress instead just wanting some milk because No. 28 has run out.
ROSIE: He didn't even notice.
Katya starts to tidy up the dishes but quickly drops the plate she had picked up and holds her arm instead. Ned is more observant this time and asks what is wrong with it and she denies it hurts and resumes clearing up the cups instead. Ned tries to do his Dr Karl impersonation by feeling her arm and announces that it is swollen, so Katya is force to say she bumped it but it is fine. She decides she's had enough of his niceness but quickly apologises. Katya then comes out and tells that she was the one who knocked him out but refuses to say why she needed the car.
NED: I really liked the Charlie's angel fantasy.
KATYA: (forcefully) Ned it was me.
He still thinks it is one big joke done with the intention of cheering him up because he thinks she couldn't hurt a fly.
Janae has decided it is time to let rip at Toadie while he picks up his things from the house and is surprised when Boyd tells her to stop especially after she calls Toadie a “sleasebucket”. She is astonished when Boyd and Toadie shake hands before he leaves and demands to know why he isn't furious about the whole situation and wonders if he is siding with Toadie to make her look stupid. Boyd wants to know what she is going on about and she tells him that since he got back from Tasmania he's been treating her like a stranger. He doesn't think so, but she reminds him that he's not been talking to her, avoiding touching her too and so wants to know why he is avoiding her and walking away instead.
JANAE: Did something happen in Tasmania? Something that changed the way you feel about me? Can you just tell me what's going on?
Katya calls guy to let him know that she has his money and he'll get it towards the end of the week and promises to bring everything he needs.
She hangs up and gets out one of those money box things and opens it up and we see it contains a gun.
