Recap
Guy slipping Katya a packet of drugs
Will being offered a ride in a chauffeur-driven limo
Katya telling Will Carmella needs special treatment or she'll be scarred for life
Park
Will's on the phone to someone, telling them he's going to need money and that no questions should be raised about it.
Lou's Garage
Pepper's come to see her Mum at work and they arrange to meet at the Scarlet Bar at three. Pepper wants to know what the occasion is, but Chris is refusing to tell her. This leads Pepper to think that maybe her parents have some news for her relating to them, such as them getting back together.
CHRISTINE: No, no, no. I know what you're thinking. No, your Dad and I have well and truly moved on.
Yeah? Well, maybe you should have a talk to the likes of Karl and Susan and Max and Steph then, Chris. They have all said a hundred times over that things were definitely over between them and yet somehow they've still got back together. You clearly haven't been in a soap long enough to learn that saying things like that is a sure sign you will be getting back together. I give it a few months, tops, and then you'll have a re-wedding!
As Pepper leaves, Janae shows up wearing her hot pink overalls and Chris isn't exactly pleased to see her dressed like that.
JANAE: I know you said to lay off the spicy gear, but, really, I mean, what's wrong with looking like a girl?
CHRIS: We're mechanics.
JANE: Girl mechanics. *points to overalls* See, pink!
Janae's even brought Chris her own set of hot pink overalls, but is immediately told to put them away. There's no way Chris will wear them anyway and Janae should just go and change into the old blue ones instead. Janae tries to persuade Chris by saying that it's not like the pink overalls is going to make them look like strippers, but she's still not convinced and gives Janae an ultimatum- either she gets into the blue overalls or she can go home and lose a half day's pay! Surprise, surprise- Janae goes to get changed.
No 30
Will's explaining the situation with Carmella to the other housemates- if she doesn't get specialist treatment ASAP then she'll have those scars on her face for the rest of her life. Ned suggests they hold a fundraiser at the Bar to get money for the treatment, but that won't work since they don't have the time to organise it because Carmella needs the treatment *now*. The next suggestion is for Rosie to ask her Mum for money, but she says she'd rather not go there and leaves the others to try and work something out. Ned offers to give away his savings and Pepper says she could always cash out her credit card again, but it still wouldn't be enough for the treatment. Just as Will's about to offer money, Frazer says he could get it thanks to this tip he got for one of the races. If only they could gather up a few grand to bet then they'd be sorted. Will offers Frazer his watch to cash in and get the money for the bet since it's not actually a Bali knock-off, but the real thing, and Frazer accepts it.
Lou's Garage
Janae's busy sweeping the ground (for unknown reason) when a muscular guy dressed in all black shows up. He asks for her boss, but since Chris has gone to the shops, Janae offers to help him instead. That's handy because actually, she's the one he came to talk to in the first place. The guy introduces himself as Rex Colt from Black Stallion Motors and he tells Janae how they've lost half a dozen customers to the girls at Lou's Garage in recent weeks. She puts it down to them doing such good work.
REX: Chris has always done good work, I don't think that's the reason.
JANAE: Good publicity then?
REX: Guess it is. You know it wasn't 'til you started working here that they got the cameras out. Mind you, if I had an asset like you on my team I wouldn't have you sweeping the floors.
JANAE: What do you mean?
REX: But you're way too valuable for that. How would you like to come and work for me?
JANAE: What?
REX: Jump into the saddle at Black Stallion! Giddy-up!
Rex jots down the weekly salary he'd pay her on his business card and hands it to Janae who's lost for words at his offer.
General Store
Ned, Rachel and Zeke are sat at one of the tables when Katya comes in. Just then Guy appears with the milkshakes he's got the others and offers to get Katya a drink as well. The Kinski teens are fascinated with Guy's stories about his and Katya's past antics and question if they're true, like the one about Katya almost getting kicked out of uni for example. Katya seems shocked to hear this and tells her siblings it's not true. She pulls Ned to the side and asks him to take the kids home so that she can have a talk to Guy in private. Before they leave Guy and Zeke exchange some weird hand signals (like the ones that good friends or gang members sometimes do when they greet each other) involving some sort of twist of the arm. Once Ned and the kids have gone, Katya tells Guy to stay away from them and he just smirks in response.
GUY: Enjoy that little package I left?
KATYA: I got rid of it.
GUY: Good idea, yeah. Be a hell of a (?) for the kids, you know, that big sis went to prison.
KATYA: You know what, tell the cops. I don't care anymore. In fact, if you don't tell them, I will.

Bree and Rachel are talking about Guy and Rachel thinks he's a cool guy.
BREE: That's weird, being a cool guy when your name's Guy.
Rach suggests that maybe Katya and Guy were romantically involved whilst at uni, but Bree's got other things on her mind- she's going to change her name!
RACH: What? No, you're not!
BREE: Yeah, I am!
RACH: Why?
BREE: Because I don't want to be a Timmins anymore.
RACH: Is this because of what Stingray said?
BREE: (pouting) No.
RACH: Look, he was abusing everyone.
BREE: Well, serves him right if he's not the father after all of this. Dylan would make a much better Dad.
Realising she's being a bit harsh about the guy Rachel's in love with, Bree apologises and Rachel says it's okay.
BREE: I'm not a Timmins, so why should I pretend to be? I mean, it's hardly a badge of honour.
RACH: OK, Bree Baxter...
BREE: I'm not going to name myself after them. They're horrible people.
RACH: Then what?
BREE: I thought of something that matches my personality. It's stupid, we give babies names and expect them to just match. Don't you reckon?
RACH: I haven't really thought about it.
BREE: Yeah, well, I have. A lot. I think we should just give them numbers or something until they're old enough to think of one for themselves.
RACH: OK, so what is it?
BREE: Trinity Black. Don't you just love it?
RACH: ...
Hospital room
One of the nuns from the convent have come over to visit Carmella after hearing about the accident. Carmella tells Sister Josephine that she'd like to return to the convent since she thinks the accident is God's way of telling her to go back to a life dedicated to his service. The Sister tells her that there's no place for her back at the convent though, Carmella can't keep using the church as a way to escape the world. Before leaving, Sister Josephine says she hopes God will give Carmella the strength she needs in her life and kisses her on the forehead. On the way out she meets Rosie who's curious as to why one of the nuns have been to see her sister. Carmella doesn't answer and looks like she's about to cry.
Scarlet Bar
Allan and Chris are talking about how their daughter is late as usual and Allan wants to know if his ex has found herself a new bloke. She blushes and doesn't reply. Mark my word, a few months tops and then these two will be back together. All the signs are there, I'm telling you, and I'm quite liking it too. Pepper comes in and notices how her parents are wearing their best clothes. Does this mean they're on a date now then? Not quite, it turns out they've taken Pepper out to tell her about the engagement party they're throwing her and Frazer tonight! Pepper's not sure what to say.

TheGothFormelyKnownAsBree™ and Rachel are looking into the name changing business online only to discover that unfortunately you have to be 18 to change your name. Oh well, Bree can always insist that everyone calls her Trinity anyway, she concludes. Thinking ahead, Bree's already made up lists of people that need to be informed of her new name and hands Rachel a list of people that she should tell about it.
RACH: Me?
TRINITY: I've got my list as well, but it'll be quicker if we both do it.
RACH: (spots Zeke's name on her list) No, you have to tell Zeke!
TRINITY: Um, no. Me and Zeke are ancient history!
RACH: Then why is he on top of your list?
TRINITY: Um, he's on top of your list and that's because it's in reverse alphabetical!
RACH: No, it's not!
TRINITY: Just do it!
RACH: Grr...
TRINITY: Thank you!
Scarlet Bar
When Will and Ned find him, Frazer's on the computer, checking the weather forecast since the horse they're betting on is easily affected if it's raining. Unfortunately the forecast predicts showers for the afternoon.
NED: Rain would be bad?
FRAZER: Rain would be bad.
WILL: How bad?
FRAZER: Bad bad.
Frazer dials the number to place his bet- $3000 on Pickle Prince.
Scarlet Bar- later
Ned and Will are eagerly cheering on Pickle Prince whilst following the end of the race whereas Frazer is a lot calmer. When Pickle Prince wins, Ned and Will do a bit of a victory dance.
NED: (to Frazer) You are da man!
FRAZER: Pickle Prince is da man!
NED: I could kiss that horse! (after Will and Frazer looks at him funny) On the cheek!
Will goes to arrange the specialist to see Carmella and calls his mate to tell him the deal between them is off.
Hospital room
Rosie's talking to her sister about the nuns refusing to take Carmella back.
ROSIE: They've hardly got young women beating their door down, you think they'd be grateful!
Carmella says she can't live like she is now and Rosie says she won't have to since she's going to ask their mother for money for treatment. Just then Will enters and announces that the country's top burn specialist will be flying in tomorrow to start Carmella's treatment. He tells her that all she has to do now is to concentrate on getting better and Rosie thanks him for arranging it. Will says that Frazer's the one they should be thanking instead, he's the one who fixed the money.

Zeke tells his sister it's time to go home but Rachel pulls him inside instead, telling him that it's about time he and Bree sorted things out. With that she leaves and Zeke has no time to escape before Trinity comes out of her bedroom.
TRINITY: So did Rach tell you? I changed my name. From now on you call me Trinity.
ZEKE: Trinity?
TRINITY: You've got a problem with that?
ZEKE: No. ...Trinity's a pretty cool name.
TRINITY: Good, because I like it.
ZEKE: Anyways... (prepares to leave)
TRINITY: I've missed you.
ZEKE: I've missed you too.
TRINITY: Yeah?
ZEKE: Yeah, I miss hanging out.
TRINITY: So does that mean we can be friends again?
ZEKE: Sure.
Trinity tries to hug him, but he pulls away.
ZEKE: Whoa. Just friends.
TRINITY: Yeah, but...
ZEKE: Trinity, there's someone else.
TRINITY: Since when?
ZEKE: It's one of those whirlwind things. It's early days, but I think it might be long-term.
TRINITY: Anyone I know?
ZEKE: We're still keeping it under wraps.
TRINITY: It's not Madison, is it?
ZEKE: No, she's such a child!
TRINITY: Then who?
ZEKE: I'd really like it if you could just be happy for me.
TRINITY: (not very convincingly) Yeah, I am. It's great. Congratulations.

Rosie's trying to work out why Frazer would gather up the money for Carmella's treatment when he doesn't even know her that well. His mobile goes off, but he declines the call. Frazer says he didn't want anyone to find out where the money came from and then his mobile starts ringing again. He continues to explain how it was all Will's money anyway, he just made sure it increased by a win on the races. It was just a good deed, that's all. The mobile starts ringing yet again and once more Frazer doesn't pick up. Rosie thanks him for what he did and they shake hands.
FRAZER: I can't help the way I feel.
ROSIE: You're engaged.
FRAZER: Maybe that's a mistake.
ROSIE: Hmpf.
FRAZER: OK, tell me you don't feel something too.
ROSIE: I don't. I don't. Nothing can or will ever happen between us, OK? Never.
I'd give it a few months. Those two can then have a party celebration them getting together at the same time as Chris and Allan do. It could be fun! *prepares to buy party poppers and champagne for February*
Rosie leaves and once again the mobile goes off and Frazer switches it off. Just then Pepper comes rushing into the kitchen telling her fiance that she's been trying to call him to warn him about... Uh-oh, too late now because in comes Allan, Chris and a whole heap of pther guests, all of them ready to party!
PEPPER: Mum and Dad are throwing us a surprise engagement party, isn't that great?
Frazer is lost for words.
Garden at no 30- Night
The party's now in full swing and everyone seems to be having a great time. There's Bree, erm, Trinity and Rachel having a laugh in one corner, then there's Zeke serving nibbles in another, there's Allan and Chris having a chat and then there's Frazer telling Pepper that their fake engagement has gone on for long enough, it's time to pull the plug on it now. Pepper says they can't announce it tonight, not when it's the first time her parents are getting along since their divorce.
Allan proposes a toast to his daughter and her fiancé:
"I'll keep this short because brevity, it's been said, is the soul of wit. Both Chris and I are thrilled that our Pepper has found happiness in the shape of Frazer. He's a straight up-and-down young bloke without any pryers (?). And believe me, I've checked! Although the name change threw me a bit. Anyway, it's a pleasure to welcome him to the family and I'd ask you all to charge your glasses and join with me in a toast to wish them heart-felt congratulations and on-going happiness! Pepper and Frazer!"
As everyone raises their glasses to Pepper and Frazer, Zeke decides is time to say what's on his mind.
ZEKE: This engagement's a phoney! She loves me! She told me so, and I love her!
A few metres away, Rachel murmurs 'crash and burn' to Trinity. Pepper wants to know if this was a dare given to Zeke, but he says that it's not, it's the truth!
ZEKE: You love me!
PEPPER: I'm sorry, I love Frazer.
Aww, Zeke's heart just shrivels up into nothing now from all the shame and grief and he runs away. Allan tells Frazer that Zeke's little performance should be a lesson to him that there's competition for Pepper's heart 'even in the junior ranks'. Everyone laughs.
No 30- Kitchen
Chris is getting some more nibbles when Janae asks if they could talk. She tells her boss about getting a job offer today from Black Stallion and Chris tells her to avoid them like the plague. They'd only hire Janae to have their own walking calendar girl.
JANAE: Actually, Rex thinks I'll be a great asset to the business.
CHRIS: Like I said...
JANAE: As a mechanic. You think I'm an idiot, don't you?
CHRIS: You know, the reason I sometimes give you a hard time is because I want you to learn and become a top mechanic. But if you are seriously thinking about taking Rex's offer, well... It's not exactly bright.
JANAE: Well, we'll see, won't we, 'cause I quit.
No 30- Garden
Allan tells Frazer how the two of them need to get together and go bush for a weekend so that they could get to know each other better. They could do what real men do and strip naked and stuff. Frazer's not really keen on the idea. As it turns out, Allan was just having him on, what he'd like to do is actually just to go fishing.
At the other end of the garden Rosie's filling Pepper in on what happened earlier between her and Frazer. He had plenty of opportunities to tell her about the arrangement with Pepper being a fake, but he didn't and Rosie then told him 'where to go'. Rosie suggests that Pepper end things with Frazer if he's not interested anyway, but Pepper says they've had a talk now and agreed to work things out.
Ramsay St- Night
Zeke's sitting on the curb when Rachel finds him.
ZEKE: I'm never going to be able to go to school again.
RACH: Zeke, what I don't understand is how you could think she'd be possibly interested in you in the first place!
ZEKE: She told me face to face that she loved me.
RACH: But she's *so* much older than you!
ZEKE: Did I laugh at you and Stingray?
RACH: You're right, I'm sorry.
ZEKE: We can't choose who we fall in love with.
Well, well, doesn't that line sound like it's taken straight from when Elle told Lyn in 5092 that 'you don't choose love, love chooses you'.
Just as Rachel suggests they go inside, Pepper comes out of no. 30 wearing nothing but a black negligee with white polka dots. They walk up to her and Rachel works out that Pepper's sleep walking. Pepper tells Zeke that she loves him, just like the last time the two of them met in this way, before turning around and walking back to the house again. Rachel and Zeke exchange looks.
Ramsay St- the next morning
Trinity (wearing black gloves with then bones of the hand printed in red on them) and Rachel are walking down the sidewalk talking about Pepper's sleep walking. Guy comes driving past them in a white sports car and pulls over, asking if the girls want a life to school. Rachel reckons they'll be OK coming along for a ride since Guy was Katya's best mate at uni and all. The girls get in the back seat and Guy takes a picture with them with his mobile and they drive off.
