Recap
Carmella Visits RealCam.
Connor tells Carmella she doesn't have the commitment to be a nun.
Elle presenting Izzy with the recording CamRob made.
Number 22
CamRob cuts Elle out of a photograph (from which he's already done a whole lot of cutting out) and stares at it for a moment.
Scarlet Bar
Jenny is surprised to hear Karl and Susan actually had a funeral for Cassie and wonders who supplied the mint sauce. Karl doesn't find it funny - the kids were very upset, as was Susan. Jenny then wonders if Karl had to console Susan - did she make a move on him? Karl isn't impressed and she tells him she was only joking.
Izzy wonders how Toadie manages to concentrate on work when there's music playing (he has his white earphones in). In actual fact Toadie was transcribing a meeting and the only thing distracting him was Isabelle. And the point is? Izzy realises that people can record voices on these things and Toadie graciously shows her how he gets his iPod mini to record junk. The wheel's in Izzy's head start to turn.
Number 30
Connor answers to phone to Elle, who is bored at work - she was wanting to talk to Ned, who is thankfully out. She asks him to buy some containers from her or else! The thing is that Connor really does need plastic containers - he's needs to put lots of stuff into storage as he's going on a big trip round Australia tomorrow! This is news to Elle (well, he only did decide today) and she wishes him good luck.
Elle hangs up and tells Sky that Connor's leaving.
Number 30
Connor has no regrets - this is the best decision he and Carmella have ever made. Carmella is glad he's coming to see her take her vows before he sets off. This is a new chapter in their lives. It's scary but so right.
Scarlet Bar
Katya comes in and tells Toadie that she's talked with Cam and thinks everything is going to be okay. She thanks the Toad for his advice.
Izzy drags Katya off and tells her to stay away from Cam - he's a two-faced scheming liar. He's been plotting to get Izzy out of Paul's life for weeks! Kat knows Izzy tried to come onto Cam and Izzy denies this again, telling her to be honest to herself - she knows there's something not quite right with Cam.
Number 28
Later on Katya opens the door to CamRob, who avoids her kiss. He wants to know what she wants to talk about. Katya wants to know why he keeps pulling away from her and it's not just on a physical level. CamRob says he does like her. Katya wants to know what he really feels for her. He tells her he's never felt like this about anyone before. Katya tells him not to pull away then, to open up to her. She wants the Real Cam Robinson. She knows how hard it is to share secrets but it's such a relief when you do. CamRob wishes he could. She asks him again to tell her.
Number 30
Toadie's a wee bit surprised that Connor's taking off for six months. These mad spur of the moment things always end in tears. Connor isn't happy with him being so negative - he can't find new direction surrounded by HoT stupidity. Toadie says it's part of life but Connor reminds him it's his only life. Toad's an idiot here and a big-shot lawyer out there. Connor doesn't have a sense of purpose and he has to find it. Carmella agrees and Toadie tells her to stay out of it - everything was fine until she came along; why can't she let Connor think for himself? Carmella sighs and walks off.
Number 28
CamRob says he hasn't felt like this before. It's weird and scary. Katya wants to know why it's scary. CamRob flashes back to Kat kissing him, then says he can't say. Kat promises she will still love him, no matter what - just he like he still loved her when he found out the truth about her past. CamRob remembers putting the bomb in the aeroplane, the little heart shaped photo of Pizzy and the 'You Were Lucky' letter he sent to Izzy. Then Paul saying to Izzy "He's dead". CamRob starts to run to the door and tells her he can't do this anymore - it's over. Katya thinks he can't mean it but he yells at her to let go and she lets him leave.
Scarlet Bar
Jenny's been looking for houses in Canberra. Karl doesn't seem to be facing up to the fact she'll be spending more time there. He tells her it's hard to think about moving, leaving his life here.
Katya tells Toadie she's so angry about CamRob's behaviour. Toadie thinks it could be a fear of commitment. He tells her to stick with it - she'll eventually get through to Cam.
She asks where Connor is and Toadie tells her that he's leaving. Katya wonders why he's getting so mad about it and Toadie admits he's going to miss him heaps.
Number 22
Ooh, exciting music to soundtrack Izzy searching through the darkened living room with a flashlight that is nowhere near as good as the ones they had on The X Files. She eventually finds CamRob's MP3 player then scrambles up the stairs when she hears Paul coming in.
CamRob is telling his dad all about how clingy Katya is. He just wants to have fun. Paul murmurs that women can be more trouble than guys like them need. Izzy walks down the stairs slowly, overhearing CamRob telling Paul that Izzy is one of life's takers - Paul gave her so much and she treated him like dirt. Paul would prefer they changed the subject. CamRob says Paul knew what he was getting into, though - he knew what she was like from the start.
PAUL: That's enough, Robert! (pause) Um, Cameron, sorry...
CamRob's phone rings - it's Elle for Paul. She and Sky have to sell 100 storage units or they get the sack. Maybe Paul could buy some? Paul relays this to CamRob as Izzy slinks down the stairs. Paul asks Elle how much they are as CamRob notices the door is open. Paul isn't sure whether he closed it when he came in or not...
Number 30
The next morning. Carmella is a little nervous. Toadie comes in and gives Connor a traveller's guide to Australia. CamRob comes in and hands Toadie his mail then leaves again. Carmella obviously recognises him and asks who he is. She knows she's seen him before but can't remember where. Carmella asks Toadie to come along to church with her and Connor. Toadie is honoured and decides to take them. They have to drop in on a pub beforehand though.
The General Store
Sky is drawing comic characters based on people at work and Elle thinks they almost make work interesting. She thinks they should pull a sickie but Sky hasn't pulled one in her life.
Church
Carmella takes her vows as Connor and Toadie look on. Connor shares a smile with Carmella afterwards but he then looks away, unhappily.
Number 22
Elle wouldn't be wasting her time in a call centre if she could draw like Sky can. She has talent and should use it. Paul returns and discovers the boxes he's ordered. He doesn't know what to do with them. They suggest he give them to Kim and Janellle - they could build a home out of them and give his friend Lyn some privacy!
CamRob comes down stairs and announces that someone's stolen his MP3 player. Paul thinks it could have been one of the delivery guys and Elle promises to replace it. He thanks her.
Church
Toadie apologises for his hissy fit last night and Connor tells him he was the same when the Toad went away for only six weeks. He's giving Toadie his beer recipe but Toad reminds him he can't, as Toadie's not family.
CONNOR: Yeah, you are. So shut up and say thank you.
Toadie thanks him and gives him a hug. Carmella appears and Toad goes to wait in the car. Connor tells Sister Mary Catherine that she looks beautiful. She's off to St Luke's to say goodbye to the patients and then she's off to the bush in a month or so. She thanks him and he thanks her back, promising to raise a beer to her in every bar in Australia. This isn't goodbye but good luck. They'll be friends always.
CONNOR: That's a promise.
They hug. Connor still looks glum.
Scarlet Bar
Izzy is going through CamRob's terrible music collection to find what he's recorded.
Karl and Jenny come in, Jenny on her mobile about party business, as ever. Karl tells her that he wants her in his life. Jenny tells him he knows what to do then. Karl isn't making any promises but he will cut down his surgery hours so he can spend more time over there and if that works out he might move permanently. Jenny thanks him and hugs him.
Izzy is still in the back, trying to find the file. She throws it aside, fed up.
Ramsay Street
Connor tells Toadie to stuff anything he's forgotten into storage. He's a bit worried about leaving Toadie on his lonesome but Toad reminds him that he has Ned (woo-hoo!) and Lance can't wait to move into his old room (only joking). Connor is irreplaceable. Katya appears and Connor thinks it might be time for Toadie to make his move. Kat's car is in the garage and Connor nudges Toadie into offering her a lift to the school. She accepts and Toadie tells Connor that he's worse than his mum! They hug and Toadie tells him to have fun.
TOADIE: I'm going to miss you, Shamrock.
CONNOR: I'm going to miss you too, Lawman.
Toadie walks to his car and Connor shouts at him to remember to name his first-born child after him.
Connor's phone rings. It's Sister Mary Catherine, telling Connor that there's a patient at St Luke's who looks exactly like CamRob. He's called Robert Robinson. Connor tells her that Cam has a twin who went missing in the UK. Sister Mary tells him that Robert was admitted over two months ago after a car accident. Connor decides to go and tell the Robinsons, and hangs up. CamRob walks out of number 22 and Connor tells him that he's found his missing brother before relaying all that Carmella just told him. CamRob doesn't look that shocked at all, even though he pretends. He tells Connor to "come inside" while he calls Paul. Connor does so as RealRob looks around the street.
Number 22
Robert is calling 'Paul', saying what a hero Connor is and so on and so forth. Only he's not really calling anyone as he has a hand on the button which ends the call (y'know what I'm talking about!). CamRob hangs up and tells Connor how thrilled Paul is. Connor wants to hit the road but CamRob stands in front of him, wanting to know all about it. Connor wants to go and won't even stay for a beer. CamRob morphs into RealRob, grabbing the front of his t-shirt, and tells him that he 'insists' he stay.
