Recap
- Dylan overhearing Paul's chat with Lyn over how Ramsay Street sees him.
- Elle trying to convince Stu to go to the penthouse suite with her.
- Ned turning down the audition in Sydney to stay and protect Izzy.
No. 22
Ned now agrees to do the audition and seals it by kissing and hugging Izzy. He then announces that they are both gong to Sydney because he doesn't want to leave her alone with Paul. Izzy tries to reason with him but it is falling on deaf ears, so she bluntly tells him that she can't go but Ned tells her that if she doesn't go with him then he isn't going.

Kim and Dylan arrive to try and flog some more Dyldogs but Dylan isn't hopeful they'll sell any given the sparse numbers around. They run into Sky but she refuses to tell them why she is there before heading off. Kim tells Dylan about the forthcoming cricket match and that they should make a tidy profit but Dylan gives Kim some bad news - he's pulling out of the hot dog market because Paul has made him an offer. Kim says that he'll run the business as Sky hits the airwaves and announces that she is going to perform the first ever radio stripathon! Dylan can't believe his ears as Sky tells the listeners that for every new subscriber she'll remove an item of clothing.
Dylan goes back to chat with Kim but not for long as Sky announces that she's got her first subscriber and removes her first piece of clothing. Don't get too excited though - she removes her beanie hat.
The General Store
Harold is not amused at what Sky is doing as he tunes in and brushes Lyn's request of a job aside before he leaves to go see Sky. On the way out he notices Max sitting and tries to get him to offer Lyn a job instead. Max politely turns her down too as he has nothing and tells her to persevere.
Hotel room
Paul promises Elle a bottle of champers as he leaves her in a hotel room (she told Paul she wanted to be pampered) however as soon as Paul is out of sight, she takes Stu into her room! Stu's idea of pampering isn't the same as her's Elle's though as he turns down her invitation to join her in the spa...to watch the footy on the telly! Elle isn't happy at being ditched in favour of a footy match.
Lucinda's
Izzy rants off to Paul about Ned turning down the opportunity of the audition in Sydney. Paul suggests there must be a woman involved and you can almost see Izzy holding her breath until Paul says that it must be Sky Mangel. Breathing a sigh of relive she kisses Paul who is taken aback by this before leaving.
Hotel room
Stu is getting into the game and Elle tries another tactic to get him into the bathroom (appearing in just a bath robe) but it fails again as he is still more interested in the match on the telly. Making one final ditch to attract Stu's attention she drops her robe on the floor!
During the conveniently placed commercial break, Elle now has her gown tightly wrapped round her as Stu reminds her that he is married (even if she thinks Sindi is invisible) and thought she knew the boundaries too. He then reminds her that she is also her brother's ex but Elle is upset and tells him to go. Stu doesn't and sympathises with her over what Ned did to her, brothers or not, which does seem to cheer her up. Elle now worries that Stu will tell all in sundry what happened but he promises not to...because they will think he's gone soft for turning her down! This cheers Elle up and Stu says she can have any guy she wants to...well except him.

Dylan is trying to fend off the sudden crowd who are watching as Sky removes more...but its jewellery this time. Harold appears and is relived to see Sky with her clothes still on and as she introduces another song, she hints to Harold that although she says she'll soon be in her birthday suit, it won't happen.
Dylan decides to talk to his dad who is still flogging the hot dogs to trying and explain the reason why he's taken Paul's job. Kim then asks why Paul hasn't given this job to one of his sons and when Dylan doesn't reply, Kim says why - it is because Paul has botched up his own family and is trying to have a second go with Dylan. Dylan tries to say that it is because he is the right man for the job but Kim isn't listening anymore and says good luck to his son.
Hotel room
Elle tells Stu that Ned broke it up with her because of another woman and he tells her to forget and move on because it is Ned's loss, not hers. Elle is reluctant to do so because she doesn't know what happened. Stu informs her that she can do better than his brother because she is a hottie. Elle is having trouble believing this and Stu says he'd be right in there if he wasn't married. He then notices the time and leaves because he has to be up for work in the morning. They hug each other goodbye and Elle heads to lie on the bed, switching on the radio in the process and is surprised to hear Sky's voice on the radio.
UniFM
Sky is appealing for more subscribers and the good news is she only needs 6 more subscribers! Dylan and Harold decide they've had enough and storm into the studio to plead with her to stop but Sky is on a crusade now and isn't giving up. She throws them out of the studio and as the track finishes, announces that she's got another subscriber which means the singlet has to go! Sky is one smart cookie though, and before she removes the singlet, pulls down the blinds of the studio so the waiting crowd in the foyer can't see! It is a radio stripathon afterall. We then hear Sky announce that she's got another subscriber and that the bra is to come off now, which she promptly throws out the window to the gathered masses along with the singlet she removed a few seconds ago. Dylan quickly grabs the items and stuffs the bra into Harold's shirt pocket so the masses don't get it.
Dylan spots Kim leaving and tries to get him to wait and he'll join him at a nightclub Kim is going to try next but Kim tells him no, he's got to learn how to operate the cart alone. Dylan apologises to his father and Kim tells him not to, because he doesn't owe him anything.
Sky announces to the masses in the foyer and the listeners that she is now naked and throws her knickers out the window to prove it. As the masses fight over Sky's knickers, Elle arrives and heads straight into the studio...to find Sky isn't naked. She calls Sky a cheat and pulls the blinds up to prove so.
SKY: Look everyone, its Elle Robinson a good friend of mine.
ELLE: You just couldn't help yourself could you?
SKY: It's just a radio show.
ELLE: I'm talking about you and my boyfriend.
SKY: Ok, um, do you mind if I put my pants on for this?
ELLE: Why, so you can just get them off again for the first offer that you get?
MASSES IN THE FOYER: Whoa and a few wolf whistles.
No. 30
Izzy comes round to confront Ned that he is in love with Sky and to tell him that he can take her to Sydney with him. He denies this and tells Izzy that he loves her and knows her game - that because she is in a violent relationship she can't believe that there is another way before saying that he wishes he could lock Paul up. Izzy agrees with him but says they can't, so Ned tries to drag her down to the police station so they can report Paul. Izzy manages to stop him but Ned gives her an ultimatum - they leave for Sydney tonight or he's going to the police! Izzy agrees to this but they go tomorrow instead so she can make up a story to Paul so he doesn't try and follow them. Ned wants to come with her when she tells Paul but she says that she can handle it.
NED: First thing tomorrow we're out of here. I'll give you a call.
IZZY: Don't call, just park out the front and stay out of sight. 7am and let's keep this between ourselves at least until we get to Sydney. Okay?
NED: You're doing the right thing.
Complex
As Max clears away some plates, Lyn asks Max if she can make some meatloaf for the bar. Max tries to gently let her down by saying it won't fit into the style of the menu at the bar, plus they have a new chef. Finally Lyn admits the truth - the mortgage is due next week and she is short. Max offers to lend her the money but Lyn doesn't want that. She apologises for asking and Max heads inside with the plates.
As she heads off, she runs into Paul who makes a remark about her having time on her hands before rubbing it in even more by telling her that he's just signed Flick on for another year in New York and that he's in the mood for hiring Scullys...but not for much longer. He heads into the bar leaving Lyn to mull over his words.
Scarlet Bar
Paul spots Izzy cleaning a table and invites her to dinner. She turns him down because she's got to pack for her weekender and adds that he's not invited. Paul is a bit curious but she hugs him and says that she'll miss him even if it is only for a couple of days.
UniFM
Sky firmly tells Elle that she isn't interested in Ned because she had Dylan and asks her if she will feel better knowing who the other girl is. Elle replies yes...then probably not before letting it slip that it was Izzy (who planted the idea in her head) and Sky wonders why she'd believe anything Izzy said, especially since hates her. By the look on Elle's face, the penny has just dropped.
No. 30
Stu is stunned to find that his brother is leaving and twigs that it has something to do with Izzy. He tells Ned that he has a crush on her and Ned replies that he wouldn't understand. Just as Stu tells his brother that he needs to get away to think, Elle lets herself into the house to conveniently return her key. She spots him packing and asks if he is going somewhere and Ned replies that he's got an audition. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife and Elle breaks the silence.
ELLE: Izzy huh? (pause) I heard you.
Ned tells Elle that nothing happened and that Izzy doesn't know how she feels. Elle asks if he is in love with her but he doesn't say anything.
ELLE: You promised me Ned. You promised me and I believed you. I loved you. You can't even be honest with me.
Elle then leaves as we head into the last commercial break.
Scarlet Bar
Lyn attracts Paul's attention as he stands at the bar having a drink to say she's going to accept his job offer and will do so publicly. Paul orders two glasses of champers from Max to celebrate the deal and Lyn tries to say not for her but when Paul comments that she isn't ashamed to be seen working for him in any way, she relents to accept his invitation.
At the corner of the bar, Izzy attracts Max's attention to tell him that she needs a few nights off. Max reminds Izzy she's just had a whole month off and needs her to pull her weight. Izzy asks if he wants to know why but Max doesn't really want to know. Their chat is interrupted by Elle arriving to talk to her and quickly pulls Izzy into the office.
ELLE: It's you. I know it is, Ned told me.
IZZY: What would he exactly say?
ELLE: He said that he's in love with you but you don't know and he can't be with me while he's thinking of you.
Izzy pulls Elle into a hug as she gets upset because Ned is going away and they won't get a chance to work it out. Izzy tells her that Ned is just a silly little kid and given time she'll wonder why she ever thought of him in the first place.
Ramsay Street (next day)
Izzy leaves No. 22 and hurries down the drive and gets into Ned's car. Ned notices that Izzy doesn't appear to have much luggage with her (a holdall) and Izzy replies that she told Paul she was only going for the weekend and that she'll buy more clothes there. She then tells him to get going quick before anyone sees them. Ned tells her she hasn't to worry anymore because she is with him as they start their journey.
