School muck-up day continues in the background as Janae changes out of her wet uniform behind someone's conveniently placed Land Rover as both she and Boyd continue to play mind games with each other. Boyd brings up the subject of going to see a movie and suggests they go that evening and Janae replying “that would be grouse!”
Janelle is round to borrow some washing powder to wash Stinger and Dylan's smelly uniform when Harold arrives home bearing his scars of the muck-up day. With Harold safely in the shower Lil and David confirm what they are up to today and talk about how their car is on borrowed time before Lil leaves. David suddenly remembers his lottery ticket and goes to check his numbers (which reminds me I need to check how I got on with the Virginia Lottery ticket I bought at the weekend!) - and it is his lucky day as 10, 14, 18, 24, 27 and 31 are on his ticket and he is one of 6 winners winning $250,000 according to the paper! Dave can't believe his giddy heart.
Elle brings Paul a cuppa and announces that she should leave because of the tension that has surfaced since she has arrived, which Paul rejects as Izzy comes into the kitchen. He offers her breakfast but she refuses it until he says that he cooked it not Elle. Izzy still isn't having it though and Paul tells her that she is perfectly safe in the house and Izzy replies that she'd have to be crazy to believe that but quickly adds that she isn't!

Harold is admiring his invite on the Lassiters 20th anniversary flight but tells Lil he is turning it down as he has an aversion to flying! Harold has a brainwave - he suggests that David and Lil take his place (the invite was for 2 people), but Lil isn't keen due to having to spend the whole day with Paul gloating. Their conversation is cut short when an upset Serena comes into the store and Harold tells Lil to take Serena home.
Janae and Janelle come into the store and talk about Janae's date with Boyd, which she is fretting over already. Janae wants to tell Boyd how she really feels but Janelle says that it isn't time just yet for that.
David finishes taking a red sporty BMW for a test-drive and the salesman is sceptical that David can't afford it until David sets him straight and even suggests he could pay cash right now for it!
Carmella is round to tell Izzy about what happened with Connor and that she is relieved that he forgave her. Izzy however has other things on her mind - hunting for buried treasure ie tablets which she finds in Elle's bag and tells Carmella that she's “going to make that little brat pay!”
The salesman is showing off the car but David leaves to take a call as Paul and Elle stroll by. Paul is surprised to see him and the car and he offers Paul a test-drive. Paul initially turns him down but Elle turns on the charm and they agree to go tomorrow for one. David, having finished his call, hears part of that conversation and suddenly decides he isn't interested in the car and leaves the salesman standing!
Izzy explains to Carmella that she has a plan to prove to Paul what Elle is up to as he unlikely to believe her otherwise.
IZZY: I won't take the chance. I want Elle's pretty little head stuck to a spear so I can walk up and down the street and show people what she is really like.
CARMELLA: You're scary Iz.
IZZY: Only to those people who cross me!
David comes home ready to tell Lil about the win but notices an upset Serena and so keeps quiet. Serena goes to ask if she can move home but Lil second guesses her and says that she can move home. Serena is grateful and goes to get her things once she's composed herself and tells them she has great parents.
Izzy apologises to Paul and Elle for her behaviour whilst on the tablets but that it is in the past and she's getting her act together. They both promise to support her and Izzy asks if she and Elle can also become friends. Elle is stunned by this revelation and Paul suggests they go out for a slap up meal to celebrate but Izzy would rather have some of Elle's beef teriyaki instead. Elle is all for it and ropes Paul in to be co-chef while Izzy leaves to get some sake. With Izzy away, Elle asks her dad if Izzy will keep her word this time and Paul replies that he thinks so.
Carmella calls round (as a friend) to see Connor and wonders how Serena took it. An upset Connor replies that it is over and she apologises again. Connor tells her she'll get the money back as soon as but Carmella says that is why she is there - after the way she has behaved he doesn't need to pay the money back. Connor replies that she can't do that and she starts to kiss him. Carmella quickly pulls away though as she realises that the two of them can't work. Connor goes to show Carmella out as Serena arrives and she immediately puts two and two together despite Connor trying to tell her it doesn't look like she thinks it does.
As Janelle and Janae try and decide what are weeds and what are pansies, an arguing Serena and Carmella come out of No. 30.
With the camera now on them, Carmella explains to Serena the original reason why she lent Connor the money in the first place (to break them up) but adds that nothing happened between them because Connor loves her. Serena doesn't exactly believe her so Carmella urges her to think twice before she throws away what she and Connor have together.
Izzy is surprised to see a smartly dressed Boyd appear in the bar and teases him for having a date. Boyd gushes to her why he likes Janae and Izzy gives him some money to aid his date. He leaves and Carmella comes in wanting to spend the night relieved after what happened earlier.

Boyd arrives for his date and after seeing what Janae is wearing, quickly tries to de-smarten himself. He gives Janae some sweets and they make polite small talk to cover up for their nervousness. Janelle arrives and sits down and tells Boyd that Janae doesn't like caramels (the sweets he gave her) and starts to eat them instead. Janelle then comments on Boyd's smart appearance for going to the movies and he quickly says that his jeans were in the wash before asking what Janelle is up to tonight.
JANAE: Didn't I tell you? Mum's coming too.
The Bishop family are all helping out with a soup kitchen as Janae, Boyd and Janelle leave to head to the cinema although Boyd doesn't exactly look pleased about Janelle being there. Serena laughs at the scene and Lil wonders what she is laughing at, so she explains that love can break your heart but it is also funny as well.
Paul tells Elle about the good old days before she should have been born including that he hired a Japanese chef at one point and her beef teriyaki is better than his. Izzy brings through the food and they sit down to eat after Paul proposes a toast “to peace”. Paul thinks it tastes great but Izzy says hers tastes bitter, so he takes a bit and agrees with her. Elle has some of hers and says that hers is fine. Paul takes a closer at Izzy's plate and notices something in it that shouldn't be there (a pill) and tells Elle that she's got some explaining to do!
