Scullys
Lyn and Joe have been watching Zeke and Rachel whilst Alex has been wooing Susan over at her love pad. Joe's just finished watching a film with Bree, Rachel and Zeke. Joe and Bree loved the film, but Rachel and Zeke just didn't see the point in it. Joe looks astounded. There's a knock at the door, so Lynnie hustles out of the kitchen with brush in tow. It's a very nervous looking Alex wanting to pick the kids up. Lynnie picks up on his mood and asks if everything OK, he says everything is fine and tells the kids to say goodnight. Lyn tells him she thought they'd be longer but Alex insists everything is fine. When they leave, Lyn confesses to Joe that she thinks something is up.
Susan's
Lyn and Joe have come round to check on Susan. She opens the door with a face and tissue full of blood. Lyn and Joe become all hyper and sit her down to sort the nose out. Joe automatically thinks that Alex did this to Susan. She tries to tell him that it was because they tried to kiss, but she can't get a word in edge ways. Lynnie is being pretty calm but has her doubts about Alex. There's a knock at the door, Alex has forgotten his keys. Rachel and Zeke walk in and are shocked to see Joe shouting at their father and Susan with a face full of blood. Alex tries to leave as soon as possible but Joe wants to start a fight to sort him out.
LYN: Joe there's kids in the room!
JOE: Leave them in here, we'll go outside.
SUSAN: Joe, SHUT UP!
The whole room goes silent when Susan sheepishly admits that it was because they tried to kiss. They ended up butting heads. Everybody tries their best not to laugh. The gang leave, leaving just Lynnie and Susan to laugh about her little mishap.
HOT
Lou is being all young again with the boys. Lou tells Ned to hit him in the stomach, which he does, but not very hard. Lou asks him if that's the best he can do, so he does it full force nearly knocking an old Lou over. Ned winded Lou - how rude. Ned sits down with a depressed Stu, who tells him he doesn't need Ned to look after him.

Rachel and Zeke are trying to give their dad some love advice. Oh my. These kids are so bright. The kid tell him that he needs to do something that'll sweep her off her feet, Alex jokingly tells them he already did that tonight when he knocked her in the face.
Susan's
Lyn has made Susan a drink to try and calm her down. Susan says she messed the whole thing up, but Lynnie reminds her that her next date will be a normal one. Perhaps he's just a nervous kisser she says. Lynnie can't stop laughing at the fact the kitchen went up in flames, but Susan reminds herself of the fact that Alex went all macho and stepped in, she says he was wonderful. Susan talks about getting her insurance bumped up, which Lynnie picks up on. 'So there's gonna be a next time eh?' . She then goes on to point out all the things Alex isn't.
LYN: Hey, he could have been a letch, he could have been married or he could have been a priest.
Susan laughs but says to Lyn that she thinks she's romantically challenged!
HOT
Max is at the door asking a very stupidly dressed Lou to keep the music down tonight. Lou starts trying to talk all 'young and hip' leaving Max looking freaked out. He starts using words like 'Homey and Dude'. Hhhmm. Max leaves so Lou goes and asks the boys if they want a big fry up, of course they all say yes. Stu then comes in looking very depressed. Ned tries to get him to open up, but he doesn't give much away. Serena arrives and pulls Connor out to walk her to school.

Rachel and Zeke are discussing their dad's love life again. Gone are the days when kids talked about normal stuff like music and films, its now their parents love lives. Susan then walks pasts wearing the best sunnies I have ever seen, I'll have to ask Caz to write to Jackie for me and ask her where she got them. The kids run up and beg her to give their dad another chance, but Susan says they shouldn't be talking about this in school. Meanwhile, Connor is walking Serena to class, he says he shouldn't be there but Serena says it's fine. They walk past Susan who also says he shouldn't be there, but the subject soon changes to Susan's love life. Bree tells everybody what happened last night. As if you'd speak to a teacher like this. Tusk.
Scullys
Joe has just arrived at Lynnie, with a box. Lynnie's standing in the doorway with a grin reaching to either side of her face, she looks so happy to see him. He tells her he has gift for her with which she lands him a big hug. He tells her to sit down while her places the box on the couch next to her. She excitedly opens it, only to reveal a dogs bowl, collar and toys. She looks freaked out. I think she thinks it's a joke about her 'dog kissing' days. She then asks if it's for her or Harvey, but he reassures her it's for him. She now looks even more shocked. Joe tells her to stay there whilst he goes and gets the rest of the present. Suddenly the door opens; it's some horrible skinny dog. Apparently this is for Lyn and it's called Bouncer 5. Bouncer 5 walks up to a shocked Lynnie, who quickly moves her feet up on the couch looking scared. Joe thinks it's the best gift since slice bread. Is he blind?

Susan is finishing a class, when Alex enters the room with a huge bunch of flowers. He walks to the front of the class and sweeps a mini Susan up off her feet whilst the kids watch in silence. Alex then Carrie's Susan out of the classroom and down the corridor ......................
.......... All the way to Lasssiters lake
So strong Alex has managed to carry Susan all the way. 10 points for that matey.
He awkwardly puts Susan down onto a rug which has a picnic including wine. Alex and Susan are giggling like kids at this point, until he hands her a glass of wine. Susan is all ready to kiss Alex but he's being all nervous, so she decides she'll give him a lesson. She tells him to close his eyes and to 'go with the flow'.
Scullys
Lyn and Joe are stood watching Harvey and Bouncer 5 eat. Lyn looks like she's about to hurl all over Bouncer 5, can Joe not see how unimpressed Lyn is with her present? She tries to tell him that there simply isn't enough room with Harvey and The Timmins', but Joe still doesn't get this and says he knows it'll be a tight squeeze but once they get him onto the track, he'll be earning them big bucks. Lyn's like 'whoah'.
LYN: Where'd you get him Joe?
JOE: Trainer down the track was shot of him. Got him for nothing.
LYN: Doesn't tell you something then?!
JOE: Sure does! That the guy did not realise he had a diamond in the coal bucket. Look Lynnie, there's one thing I know - It's dogs. Love and a roof over it's head, this dog is gonna be a winner! How can you say no to such a beautiful face? (Lyn looks like she's gonna be sick at this point)
LYN: Oh alright.
JOE: Yeah, you hear that B5, you can stay!
Lassiters Lake
Susan and Alex have just finished eating. He offers her more but she says she couldn't eat another thing - until he gets out the chocolate covered strawbs. Yummo. Susan says its funny how it seems like yesterday they were arguing over staffing choices, but Alex admits that Susan is the best thing that's happened to him in ages.
SUSAN: Today has been wonderful, but I should tell you that I'm not into rushing anything.
ALEX: Oh.
SUSAN: Since my divorce, I've done that a few times. Often against my bare judgement and I have regretted it.
ALEX: Just so you know, I don't sweep woman off their feet everyday.
Susan says she likes being with him him, but wants to take things slow. Alex informs her that they have all the time in the world - And so they kiss.
General Store
Connor, Serena and Toadie are all sat trying to have a drink in the GS, but keep being rudely interrupted by Lou's loud music and air guitar playing. Serena has enough in the end and asks him to turn the music down but he doesn't hear her. Stu then gets a call on his mobile, it's some kind of police emergency.
Lab
There are loads of police and fire brigade people running about outside the building. Susan and Alex arrive and spot a anxious looking Bree. She asks her whats going on, in which Bree replies that Zeke and Rachel asked her to meet them there, but they haven't come out yet. Alex over hears and immediately panics.
General Store
Max enters insisting to Lou that he turns the music down because he's losing all his customers. Apparently he's had to hire extra staff to carry his load of customers as well as Lou's (and he's complaining because????!!).
Over in the corner, Toadie asks Connor and Serena how their date at the Australian Idol contest went. They both say it was amazing and Connor adds that some of them even had tallent! Toadie asks how Connor managed to cope with all the screaming teenage girls and Connor replies that he was one of them last night!
Back at the counter, Lou is sorting out a box for Max, who will give it all to Steph. She must be having weird cravings Lou says, but apparently it's just a varied diet for Steph! Max goes to leave and Lou asks if he's forgotton something ie you need to pay for it but Max has suddenly remembered that he forgot the pistachio ice cream and it is more than his life is worth to forget it!
Back in the corner, Ned rejoins the table and shows off a business card a lady lawyer gave to him. Toadie wants to know why he needs a lawyer since he's the only lawyer in town when Ned says this isn't the first time this has happened to him either. Toadie decides to tell the country bumpkin that the women are trying to pick him up!
Lab
Alex runs up to the area that's been cautioned off. He tries to pass but Steiger stops him and tells him to wait. Susan tries to calm him down but Alex insists that he has to go in and find his kids as they are taking far too long. Stu ignores Steigers wishes and runs into the building leaving a very angry boss and worried parent behind him.
