Sky and Harold demanding to know what's going on with Joe.
Stingray threatening Go-Go with legal action.
Boyd reading Kayla's note - she has gone and wants Steph to have Ashley.
As Steph nurses Ashley, Max says he is going to call the police since 24 hours have passed without any word from Kayla but Boyd wants them to wait since Kayla has made her feelings clear that she wants them to have Ashley. Max asks him why would she suddenly give Ashley up now, and Boyd gives him a few reasons including saying that if they report it to the authorities, she'll be classified as an unfit mother for abandoning Ashley. Max asks what they should go then and Boyd suggests they should wait and follow Kayla's wishes.
Harold is still trying to get the truth from Joe about him and Celia but isn't having much luck. Eventually he admits he likes a beer and from now on he's going to sit back and smell the roses! Harold tells him that Celia kicked him off the farm because he was a beer-swilling freeloader! Joe says he's a hard worker and he deserves a break too, which Celia didn't appreciate. Harold announces that Joe has turned into a bludger and tells him that everyone here works for a living and it is up to Joe to accept these rules if he wants to live there.
After Dylan tells Lyn he can't repair the roof properly, she admits to missing having a handyman around the house and he asks if that is all she is missing! A depressed Stinger coming in means we don't get the answer to that question and Dylan follows him into the kitchen asking what is wrong. He tells Dylan that Go-Go ignored his pleas to her to quit the sexual harassment of him, so Dylan tells him to get used to having his butt pinched. Stinger is annoyed that the only person to stick up for him is Bree. Lyn puts forward her opinion - to go and see Toadie and get legal advice because he is in the right.
Joe is drowning his sorrows with a beer as Sky comes looking for him, still moaning about Harold's attitude towards him. She tells him that Celia is happy for Toby to continue living there despite the fact he isn't her son because he is a hard worker unlike his father. Sky also adds that Toby is everything Joe isn't and she thinks that Celia postponed the wedding because Joe turned into a layabout and that she thought he came to Erinsborough to find her when it was in fact because he had nowhere else to go.
Toad is giving Stingray legal advice but it basically boils down to his word against hers. It doesn't help his case that he has no witnesses, so Toadie suggests he talks to his fellow co-workers to get someone to back up his claims.

Max comes out to tell Steph, as she nurses Ashley, that they can't wait anymore just in case Kayla may need help. She puts the words in his mouth by vocally saying what he's thinking, that she is getting attached to the baby. Steph tells him that perhaps this is destiny as things happen for a reason.
No. 32 (later on)
It's Boyd's turn to talk to Steph now as he comes out down a different set of stairs we haven't seen since the days of Tess Bell! He admits finally that he didn't love Kayla but confirms that to Steph that he does love Ashley. Tearfully, she asks if Max has rung the police yet, as Ashley will be made a ward of the state if they don't get hold of Kayla. Steph asks him why did Kayla suddenly leave now and he admits to her that Kayla still loves Ashley's father and he thinks that is where Kayla may have gone to. Steph asks where to they find Anthony and he suggests that if they can track down Kayla's mum then they may find Anthony's address. Boyd quickly heads inside to see if Max has phone the police.
Boyd arrives in as Max is on the phone to the police, and when Max says he is on hold and hasn't said anything, Boyd tells him to hang up, which he does, as Steph says Boyd thinks he knows where Kayla and they will bring him up to speed in the car.

Joe puts up a flyer offering himself as a handyman for hire to sceptical comments from Harold just as Lyn comes putting up her own flyer looking for a handyman! They introduce each other and Lyn is taken aback with his name, and when she asks him to repeat it, he asks if she is "Joe phobic!" Lyn admits her husband is called Joe too but also adds that they are separated.
Sky is telling Dylan about the new Joe that she doesn't like and how can she change it. Dylan suggests giving it time and she thanks him for listening to her before getting up to more important things, like pashing! She tells him she loves him but he doesn't say anything back and she wants to know what is wrong. Dylan suddenly remembers the month ban, even though Sky tells him that Joe said it was fine, and walks out leaving Sky very puzzled.
Stingray approaches the other employees but they aren't keen to speak to him. He asks if they are happy with the way Go-Go treats them and the "spokesman" admits they don't like it but he won't get any support from them, as they need the money.
Max and Steph have got an address from Kayla's mum and they comment that Kayla doesn't deserve a mother like she has. Max is hesitant to go, as he isn't sure that Kayla will be there but Boyd says they've come this far and can't get any worse. Max then tells them what Kayla told him about Anthony - that he dropped her like a ton of bricks as soon as she found out she was expecting, so will she want them to turn up with her child? Boyd says they have to, to find out what happened if anything and Steph adds that she can't get on with her life until Ashley's life is sorted out.

Stingray is moaning to Toadie about the lack of support he got from the employees at Go-Go's. Toadie admits to him that the circumstances are unusual - a male being harassed by a woman boss and adds that he's more than willing to help out if Stinger wants to pursue it. Stingray thanks him but as the family need the money, he'll have to learn to grin and bare it.
Lyn introduce Joe to Harvey and then Oscar and Joe asks if he can call him Ozzie! Lyn gets a strange case of de ja vous before offering Joe a cuppa. She tells him she is glad he's moved next door as she has got a load of odd jobs around when Dylan appears from the bedroom. Joe asks him to sit down and asks what he and Sky have been up to. Dylan says nothing but Joe isn't quite so sure, so Dylan firmly says that he is going to respect Harold's wish and stay away from Sky, despite Joe saying that isn't necessary.
The Hoylands pull up outside Anthony's place and Boyd says he'll inside since Kayla trusts him and they've got things to talk about too. Steph stops him and asks what is he going to say but Boyd isn't sure and admits he'll make it up as he goes along. Max gets out and comforts a worried Steph as Boyd goes in alone.
Joe gloats to Sky that he's got some work from Lyn and that the holiday is over. He also mentions seeing Dylan and his strange behaviour. Sky can't work out his behaviour too and isn't sure if Dylan is using the ban to avoid getting close to her. Joe wonders if it is because Dylan is inexperienced around women and Sky laughs in his face, well that is until Joe says that perhaps he is terrified when she says they've been going out for a month and done "nothing".
Kayla comes out to speak to Boyd wondering why he is there. Boyd wants to know why she left without saying but Kayla said she left a note. Kayla tells him that she'll do and say whatever is necessary, when she spot Max, Steph and Ashley by the car. Steph wants to go over and talk and seeing them approach, Kayla tells Boyd to go and look after Ashley better than she ever could. Boyd asks her if this is because Anthony doesn't want Ashley and she begs him to leave when Steph and Max approach the house.
Steph tells her that they've been so worried about her but Kayla tells them that Anthony will leave her when he finds out about the baby and after Boyd reminds her that he kicked her out when she was pregnant, Kayla admits that she never told Anthony that she was pregnant and confirms that she doesn't want Ashley and tells them all again to go.
