Recap
- Max and Steph have the chance to adopt Kayla's baby.
- Bobby woos Susan with champagne.
- Karl tells Izzy that Bobby isn't all he makes out to be and that he spent the night with Susan.
Scarlet Bar
Karl is telling Izzy about Sobby. He says that he didn't want to say anything but he wanted her to know how much her dad has been playing her. Izzy can't believe it. She thinks he is lying and making things up just so she will fly into "Some jealous rage". Izzy then dishes out to Karl that she knows he feels threatened by her father but this is going too low. Karl says it has nothing to do with that and he just wanted her to know that her father isn't the man she thinks he is. Izzy leaves slamming the door behind her.
German Pad of Lurve
So, here we are, once again at the sleazy German Pad of love. Today we have a shirtless Bobby and a scantily clad Lyn. She has Bobby's shirt dripping off her. How romantic - shirt swapping. Makes a change from Bobby's bed swapping. They've clearly been at it again and are now just 'relaxing', until Bobby starts to 'tickle' Lynnie. She laughs like a little school girl and tells him to stop. Whilst he's touching her up, he checks his watch which is at the side of the bed, Lynnie doesn't seem to notice this as she's too wrapped up in Bobby's body (lucky her). Lyn starts to get all mushy which begins to set off Bobby's 'Got to get out of here' bells.
BOBBY: Very ticklish are we? Want me to stop!?
LYN: Never (gives a girly laugh) You could so this forever if you like.
BOBBY: Um well I don't know about that. There is such a thing as having a too good of a thing.
LYN: Hey, I need you to be honest with me.
BOBBY: I am, I wanted a job in an ice-cream shop and .........
LYN: (Laughs like a girl again) Really, seriously I mean it.
BOBBY: Ok, ok.
LYN: It's just I want you to know well, I'm not playing about here, like I'm having feelings .. that I .. well they're real. Do you know what I'm sayin?
BOBBY: (Looks nervous) What do you take me for, someone who's like a casanova or something?
LYN: Well I'm hoping not.
BOBBY: (Jumps on Lyn) Well put it this way (kisses the face off her).
Lyn then goes on to say how awkward it will be telling the kids. Bobby's face hits the floor, but quickly manages to convince Lyn that they should hold off for a while - until all the adoption stuff is over with. She agrees giving him a gushy look before rolling onto him and hugging him.
General Store
Janelle, Bree and Stingray have just walked in carrying loads of shopping bags. Bree spots Summer and waves at her, but Stingray quickly reminds her that they are there with mum. She sits down looking disappointed. Lou walks over and congratulates Janelle on her spending spree. She thanks him for the 'Fantastic Plastic' he set up for her. Lou says 'Exxeelllent' in a Mr.Burns style. Janelle thinks it great that she can give the kids a lifestyle they deserve. Harold calls Lou over and asks if he can have a word in private. He leaves looking confused.
Susan's pad
Susan has just opened the door to a very angry looking Izzy. She greets her and asks 'If somethings wrong?'. Izzy coldly replies that there is and that she doesn't know why she is spreading rumours. Susan looks confused and asks her what about. Izzy doesn't say exactly what it's about at first, she just goes on to say that she knows Susan dislikes her but there is no need to spread such hurtful rumours. Susan - looking very confused by now asks her politely what it is she is meant to have done.
IZZY: I've said what I needed to say. Actually I don't know who you've told about this so called 'affair' with my dad, I'd appreciate it if you could just tell them all the truth.
SUSAN: Isabelle ...
IZZY: My dad wouldn't do that.
SUSAN: (Pulls a 'yeah right but I can't be bothered arguing look) Yeah, you're right. Course, whatever. I'm sorry.
Izzy walks off leaving Susan feeling a little more than embarrassed.
General Store
Back to Harold and Lou's little chat, Harold is complaining about how Lou is always trying to outsell him in everything. He hates the idea of this new credit card scam and throwing it down people throats is wrong. Harold says he wishes he never went into buisiness with him, but Lou quickly says that any money that comes out of the card buisiness goes straight into theirs. Harold is having trouble believing this. Outside the office, Paul has just walked into the store. Janelle spots him and comically coughs 'Sleaze Bag' under her breath. Stingray then joins in with a 'Home wrecker'. Paul turns round with a displeased look on his face. Bree then gives them both a 'Bless you' to try and calm the situation down. Harold and Lou then come out of the office and Paul tells them that he doesn't want to cause a scene. Harold says he may even join him as there are some things he wants clearing up.
Scarlet Bar
Bobby and Max are talking about Kayla and the adoption situation. Max is saying how Kayla is just a child herself and that he really feels they can help her. Bobby then says that he thinks they are the best people for the job as he can supply the best for both of them. He thinks they've been given a wonderful opportunity and they can give the kid a good life. Max doubtfully says he hopes so. Izzy then comes into the bar wanting to talk to Bobby. He says he will just as long as her face smiles. She storms off with Bobby following. She tells him that she knows he was with Susan and can't understand why he would do something like that with somebody who hates her so much. Bobby has his 'Just got busted face' on.
General Store
Harold is asking Paul some questions about what's gone on. He says he knows he's not a religious man but he must have knew what was going on. Lil was a happily married woman. Paul pipes up that if Lil was happy, they wouldn't have been having this conversation. The camera pans out to Janelle who is being a sticky beak. Stingray tells her off as it's supposed to be a private conversation. Bree and Stingray both take her home. Meanwhile Harold is telling Paul that the whole family is hurt. David has had to go away for a while and sort things out. He asks if he had any of this planned from the first time he met Lil, Paul looks guilty. 'I didn't mean to fall in love with Lil it just happened.' Harold laughs.
Scarlet Bar Office
Bobby tells Izzy that he can understand about her being peeved with what's happened, whilst she just sits there with a stoney look on her face.
BOBBY: I spent the night with Susan. I just wish I was stronger though. Told her to back off.
IZZY: (Giving a OMG look) She came onto you?!
BOBBY: Which doesn't let me off I know. But I was feeling lonely and I let myself get into her. (Bobby you naughty man) I should have put a stop to it.
Izzy looks at her dad, knowing he is lying to her. She looks hurt. Bobby says that he should leaves which leads Izzy to jump right up and tell him that just because she's upset - he doesn't have to go.
Susan's pad
Susan is pouring a cuppa for Lyn, who doesn't look like she's all there. Maybe she's still thinking about her morning games with Bobby? I would be. Suse realises she isn't all there and changes the subject from Macbeth to Lil. The two women sit down and begin to talk about her and Paul, they both seem as shocked as eachother. Lyn then brings the subject into Bobby which leads Susan to become a bit icy. Lyn tells her that she should lay off Bobby as he's 'genuine'. Is Lyn deaf as well as blind now? 'Honestly Lyn, you should stay well clear of him'. The door goes and Susan gets up to answer it leaving a dreamy Lyn at the table. It's Paul, wanting to know where Lil is. Susan tells him that she's gone away and isn't sure when she'll be back. Paul asks her if she's gone away with David but Susan won't answer him, saying that he should take that up with Lil and shuts the door on him.
Scummins
Lyn has returned home, shocking Stingray and Janelle.
LYN: Hey there.
STINGRAY: Hey I haven't seen you in yonks.
BREE: Hey you're back!
STINGRAY: Where you been hiding?
LYN: Oh nowhere, I haven't been anywhere much.
STINGRAY: Well you haven't been home much have ya!
LYN: Hey, I've been sorta in and out ......
Janelle then comes in and says the same thing. Lynnie dashes off saying she needs to go and ring Joe to see how Oscar is doing. Yay, another Lynoe metnioned. OMG thats like twice in a week now. We are on a roll. Janelle then sits down with the kids and tells them that she's gonna get a new car. They tell her she can't afford it but Janelle says she can just 'whack it on the card'. How bad is that idea??!!..
Surgery
Susan has come to see Karl about telling Izzy. She is annoyed he couldn't keep quiet for 5 seconds. Karl tells her that she put him in a very bad situation. They are then interrupted when Izzy come in - she wants to apologise for mouthing off at both of them about her dad. She admits that she knows what her dad is like and runs at the first sign of trouble. Susan looks shocked but says it was just a one off. Izzy says she is hardly anybody to judge about being spontaneous and laughs. Susan gives Karl and WTF look.
Hoylands
Summer is ditching another one of Bobby's women when Max walks in. He asks her what she was doing and who's phone it was. She tells him that it's Bree's and she doesn't mind her using it. Max then spots as list and jokes about how she better not be making long distance phone calls again. Summer assures him that she's not. Max then reads out one of the names 'Marie - tell her I'm broke and looking for work in Taz.' He asks her what's going on.
Scummins
Janelle is looking at cars in the paper with the kids. Lynnie walks in and asks if it's a good idea as it sounds so expensive. Janelle says that they realy need a new car and they haven't had one before, they deserve it. Janelle says they will have to tighten their belts a bit but it will be worth it. Lynnie gives a 'Don't say I didn't warn you' look before her phone goes off. "Meet me outside the lodge in 30mins? Bobby xx". Lynnie dashes off leaving a confused bunch of Timmins'.
Scarlet Bar
Max is telling Izzy about what happened with Summer's mobile. She tells him that it's just a bit of fun but Max disagrees. He can't believe he would use Summer like this. Izzy agrees with him but tries not to show it too much.
Max: I'm gonna give him his marching orders.
IZZY: No Max, he will leave if you do! He'll just leave.
Max looks annoyed.
German Pad of Lurve
Bobby is waiting for Lynnie outside. She arrives on time all giddy and girly and goes to give him a kiss. She senses something is wrong when he pulls away.
LYN: Is something up? Oh no, the kids have found out haven't they?
BOBBY: No, no.
LYN: Oh thank god.
BOBBY: I reckon they should never find out either.
LYN: Well how can we keep it a secret forever?
Bobby - (gives a sad look)
LYN: Are you ending it?
BOBBY: You were right, about everything. It's just gonna cause too much unpleasantness.
LYN: (begs) No, no, but you ... I mean .. we ....
BOBBY: Lyn you are a terrific lady and I've had some of the best times with you.
LYN: But this morning you were so ... so loving .... you're dropping me??!!
BOBBY: The reason I came here was to sort things out with my kids .. right?
LYN: Well I'm glad I could amuse you while you were doing it.
BOBBY: I don't deserve you.
LYN: Well you're right about one thing aren't ya!
Lyn runs off down the stairs with a very guilty Bobby following her.
BOBBY: Lynnie, Lynnie wait. Look I never wanted to hurt you.
LYN: (crying) Do you think I do this everyday do you? Like give my heart to somebody ... well I don't you know. And I haven't, not since my husband. (Shouts) You think this is just a game for me!! You are a coward Bobby. You're just a coward.
Lyn runs off crying leaving Bobby.
