Harold trying to find out what Lou is up to.
Lou spying Bobby and Lyn arriving home.
Susan telling Karl she is moving to Shepperton.
Bobby is telling Max that he and Steph would provide and make a great home for a child, which Summer backs up saying that Steph rocks as a mum and Nana Scully is the best Nana in the world. Bobby's phone starts ringing, it's Valerie who is calling, but he doesn't answer it and leaves it to voicemail.
Janelle is testing Bree again and when she gets a word right she throws her a sweet. Stinger moans to Janelle that she is spending too much time with Bree and wants her to take him out but really it is a pretence to allow Bree to study by herself.
Bobby offers to give Summer his mobile phone and they escape to the livingroom to discuss it as Karl comes in. He is in a good mood since he's had a success at the school with a difficult student. Karl also lets slip about Susan leaving and Izzy tells Karl that she is no longer jealous since Bobby turned up and that nothing can faze her.
Summer is telling Bree that she can win the competition easily if she just relaxed. Stingray tells her that he has several plans to keep Janelle away and the Susan and Lyn have been told to stay away too, to prevent her getting nervous and throwing up. Summer's new phone rings - it's someone leaving a message for Bobby (Summer has a list of "instructions" that she has to say depending on who happens to call. This one is told never to phone him again!) She tells Bree and Stinger about her deal with Bobby and the list of what to say to whom. Summer hides as Janelle comes through for breakfast, still wanting to revise with Bree. Stinger feigns a sore stomach and wants to go and see Karl, so Bree offers to take the bus while Janelle takes him to see Karl.
Bobby answers the phone to Susan; she's concerned after his fall and wonders if he needs anything, so Bobby invites her out to lunch at the Scarlet Bar and they can also compare Grandparenting stories! Another call comes in at the same time, so he puts Susan on hold...to speak to Lyn! She too wants to have lunch with him, so he lies and tells her that he's go some family errands to do then but that they could meet up for coffee later on, which she accepts, so they agree on the Scarlet bar at 3pm. He reconnects with Susan to confirm lunch at 1pm. All three people look happy!
Stingray is getting nervous about his plan to see Karl, but just as Bree is leaving to get the bus he tells Janelle that he is fine. Janelle now wants to drive Bree to the competition but he tells Janelle that there is no time for her to get dressed before the bus leaves, so she tells Bree to get the bus and she will be along later...except Stingray hides the care keys before he leaves with Bree.
The General Store
Lou tells Harold that he has to leave, which annoys Harold as it is a busy time, so Lou reminds Harold that he knew what kind of a partner he was taking on when they signed on the dotted line. This doesn't impress Harold, so he reminds Lou of what he's been up to this week - constantly late, leaving early, strange phonecalls, hours on the Internet - and he hopes that he hasn't joined up to a secret cult!
LOU: Ok, ok. I've got to slip down the market and buy a goat for the full moon sacrifice tonight. Byyyeeee (in a goat voice).
Harold asks one of the staff to look after the shop whilst he follows Lou.
Karl meets Izzy for lunch and hands over her mail. He tells her that by mistake he opened one of the letters (from her bank) and noticed a lot of money had been transferred into her account. Izzy tells him that it was Bobby who transferred the money into it, and not the secret lotto winnings he thought it might have been.
Susan is telling Bobby about her planned move to Shepperton. He tells her that it is good to move on; to prevent getting into a rut, which she seriously thinks wouldn't happen to him. Whilst she is waiting to move to Shepperton, he suggests that she lets her hair down until she moves and becomes the baking grandmother! Susan leaves to go to the ladies just as Lyn comes in surprised to see Bobby there. He says he was just filling in time until she arrived and suggests that she wait outside in the sun whilst he gets them some wine!
Bree gets her first word to spell - misanthrope - which she spells correctly. She continues to get her words correct, as Summer is outside on guard duty outside watching for Janelle, and like the proverbial bad smell she shows up, so Summer phones Stinger to let him know. They put another plan into operation whilst another candidate is spelling their words - the plan this time involves putting up a notice to say that the venue has changed, which thankfully Janelle falls for. Good news for Bree, the previous candidate has got his word wrong, so if she gets the next one correct she goes onto the regional finals. As Summer and Stinger come back in, she spells her word correctly - beleaguer - to win.
Susan comes back from the toilet and says goodbye to Bobby, saying they will have to do lunch again. She leaves as Lyn comes in and they have an awkward meeting before Susan leaves. Bobby tells Lyn that he got caught up but he's ready for her now.
Harold has followed Lou and catches him...dressed up as a wizard. He tells Harold that his latest scam is online gaming and that he's been winning quite a few games, which means that his character is extremely powerful and could make a tidy profit for him.
Everyone is celebrating Bree's win in the spelling bee. Janelle apologises for not being there to support her since she got the venue wrong and despite Lyn saying she can make the finals by herself, Janelle says she won't miss the next round. Bree gets an attack of the guilty conscious and tells Janelle that they tricked her.
Izzy comes in and tells Bobby of her brainwave to make him stay there. She tells him about the money in her bank account and that she wants to give it to him as a loan to start a business or to buy a house, as long as he stays. Bobby doesn't want to accept it but Izzy won't let it drop, so he agrees to think about it to appease her.
Bree tells Janelle that she didn't mean to do it but that Janelle made her sick when she looked at her. Janelle apologises for interfering suggests that Susan takes Bree to the grand final in Canberra before rushing out for "a walk". When she gets outside she breaks down crying.
