Stingray comes in walking on his hands with Shazza and dares her to do try too. She says she was Colac's all-time champion. Stingray is shocked that she is from Colac and hugs her. They both try to see who the champ is.
Lana and Sky discuss Lana leaving. Boyd joins them and they discuss Shazza and Stinger.
Boyd: “They're like two halves of the same brain.”
Serena comes in and spots Stinger and Shazza and quickly tries to leave, but Sky notices her and calls her over. Serena doesn't look happy at Stinger and Shazza being together.
Susan is asking Lyn how the funeral arrangements are coming on. Lyn says she's chosen a casket but everyone has different ideas on what to do next. Susan offers her help and asks how Steph is taking the death. Lyn reluctantly says sad she guesses, then goes on to tell Susan that she thinks Steph killed Charlie.
Stinger is daring Sky and Boyd to throw marshmallows at the hubcap on the wall. They both fail so Shazza shows them how it is done (you dip them in your milkshake first). Lana says to Serena how long before they get chucked out Serena pipes up that it is disgusting and is surprised it hasn't happened already. Lana reminds her she went out with him and must be used to it. Lana guesses Serena is jealous of Stingers relationship and says it's the happiest she has seen him in months.
Connor and Carmella are finishing off an article on the PC. He then says he quits so her mum doesn't find out about his literacy problem. She tries to persuade him not to, but he is adamant. Just as they are heading off to the bedroom “to discuss it further” Lori phones to say she'll be there in 10 mins with Maddy so he can look after her while she does some extra shifts for Gino.
Lyn is telling Susan of her suspicions about Steph and why Charlie didn't want to die so soon. Susan tries to get her to think objectively about it and says Steph wouldn't do that. Lyn wonders then if he asked Steph to help him end his life.
Connor and Carmella are trying to get Maddy to stop crying as she is teething. Carmella gets a phonecall offering them VIP tickets at cube, but Connor reminds her that Maddy is there. Carmella suggests getting Toadie to babysit but he is already dead to the world so Connor tells her to go and he will stay.
Sky and Lana have “broken in” to do a masterpiece. They start discussing George's reaction to her leaving and Lana thanks Sky for helping her come to terms with her own feelings.
All is quiet in No. 30 when Carmella returns. She wakes Connor up and says they should go to bed, putting Maddy in her cot. Connor is reluctant to move her in case she wakes up and wants to sleep in the livingroom with her, but Carmella orders him to the bedroom.
Lana and Sky have finished their masterpiece. They get Boyd and Serena in to let them see it. Serena says they're in trouble but Sky laughs it off. Shazza and Stinger suddenly emerge from a cupboard much to everyone's surprise.
Serena is on the phone to Sky trying to find excuses not to go out with her when Lyn knocks on the door. Serena offers Lyn her sympathy and Lyn asks her to tell Lil that the funeral is now just immediate family only. They start chatting and Serena begins to cry.
Max has just spoken to Lou on the phone and tells Boyd they've identified the body. It was Gus. Boyd then suggests as the body was found near where the fire started it could have been Gus who started the fire. Max begins to defend Gus again from Boyd's accusations.
Serena is telling Lyn how she fell for Boyd but he wasn't interested and got back with Sky and now she doesn't have anyone. Although no names were mentioned Lyn guesses correctly that it was Boyd and Sky she was talking about. She is upset that she is the only one without someone. Lyn talks to her that if she thinks negative things then she will have a negative attitude and she needs to change that to become a happy person.
Susan and Max are discussing the Lyn/Steph situation and how unhappy both of them are and wonders if she will have a word with Lyn.
The teens all arrive to see what the reaction is to their masterpiece, but nobody seems to have noticed it, so Stinger makes a “subtle” comment to draw their attention to it. Max tries to go off on one about it being graffiti but Susan says no it is art and they start making “arty” comments about it. Connor and Carmella come in and she says “are you people nuts, it's two chicks and a queen.”
Susan has brought round come comfort food (cakes) for them. She mentions her conversation with Max and hopes that Lyn and Steph can get together and talk. Lyn says she doesn't want to see her and she'd like to believe that Steph did nothing wrong. Susan suggests what if Steph did it out of love and compassion for her grandfather, and quickly rebuffs Lyn's suggestion that Max told her that. Lyn says if that were so then she could never forgive Steph. Susan says she did the same (as she suggested) to her mother. Lyn looks horrified.
Outside the Community Hall
A taxi has arrived for Lana, so she bids the teens an individual farewell. Sky gives her a present and a card “Dearest Lana. The best friend ever. Love always. Sky.” Lana gets in the taxi and leaves, once she's left they all decide to go swimming. They leave in pairs – Shazza and Stinger, Boyd and Sky. Serena looks sad to be by herself, but Sky asks if she's coming and she starts walking towards them.
Susan is telling Lyn that her mother wasn't scared to die; she was scared to go on living. Her body was full of cancer and the medication wasn't helping the pain. Lyn wonders why Susan hasn't told her this before. She tries to explain to Lyn what sort of life; existence is that and says Charlie must have felt like that too. If that is what Steph did then it was an act of mercy and it took courage and if she can't forgive Steph then she should try and understand it. Lyn gets very upset and says how can she justify murder and that she obviously doesn't know her at all and tells her to leave her house. Lyn tells her she didn't help her mother, she killed her.
