Lil telling Luka about his father.
Svetlanka telling Harold she has to leave, and wants him to go with her.
David annoyed at Lil about talking about Ivan.
Lil defends her actions, telling David that Luka has a right to know, and that with everything he's been through, he doesn't want to hear how bad a person his father was. David warns that he'll find out anyway. She says that him being angry has nothing to do with Lil keeping a photo of Ivan all along, and that she knows he would be only too happy to have Luka out of their lives.
Luka sees Serena hanging out with Stingray and gets annoyed that Serena left a nice family dinner to spend time with him. Serena informs him that he doesn't have to play the big brother, because her parents know Stingray. Luka reminds her that she was thanking him for saving her from him just a few weeks ago, and storms out. Serena and Stingray leave to hang out at Stingray's place.
David, having calmed down a bit, asks why she held on to Ivan's photo. Lil asks David if he ever kept any photos of any of his ex girlfriends. David says he hasn't. Lil explains that she just thought it would make Luka's life easier if she could tell him some good things about his father, and make him think he was brought into the world as a result of love and happiness, rather than deceit and betrayal. David apologises for the way he has been acting, but he worries about Lil. Lil says that David must accept that Luka is her son, as much as it may hurt him.
Stingray tells Serena to turn off the lights and sit down on the floor. She is sceptical that sitting in the dark will make her feel better. He lights some sparklers and the two of them sit back and enjoy them.
Coffee Shop (next morning)
Jack and Lyn discuss Jack's first session of drug counselling. He had his doubts, but it was better than he thought. He did an activity that made him think about his priorities, and he has rearranged them. Apart from Nina, he also wants to get fit again and get back into soccer. He also challenges Lyn to think about her priorities, now that a whole new part of her life is beginning.
Harold plans to visit Izzy, but Karl tells him that she is sleeping and it would be better if she wasn't disturbed. Harold asks him to pass on his gift of some magazines and chocolate. The two men talk, and Harold says he admires how strong Karl has been throughout the whole ordeal. Karl admits that it's been hard, but it's important to stay strong for Izzy, because it's much harder for her.
Karl comes home, and sees the ultrasound of Izzy's baby. He picks it up and can't help crying all over again.
Svetlanka drops in to inform Harold that she has checked out of the hotel, having decided she must leave as soon as possible. She still wants Harold to come with her, at least for a few weeks. Harold says he'll go with her, but must do something first.
Harold comes back home and is pleased to see that no one else has left. He tells David, Lil and Serena that he and Svetlanka are going to Perth.
Jack meets back with Lyn after going for a run. Lyn says she's proud of him for setting goals and achieving them. She tells him she has also taken steps to start her new life: she has booked in for some pampering at a day spa. Jack seems unimpressed, but Lyn tells him it's been ages since she's done it. She also says that past the day spa, after selling the house, she might buy into the salon business. Jack picks up on her mention of selling the house, and tells her he thought she might not sell not that she's staying. Lyn says she has to, to cover the debts, but he shouldn't worry.
Harold's news results in the other three people yelling at him all at once. Harold says that he still loves Svetlanka, and he was hoping to patch things up between her and Lil, but he was wrong. Lil tells him that the affair he's having with her mother has clouded his judgement. David says that Svetlanka is “the wicked witch of the west, and the sooner she gets back, the better.” Harold says that he loves her, and if she's not welcome there's no point in him staying.
Karl talks to Bill on the phone, saying he's holding up alright. He can barely keep his composure while talking, and loses it as soon as he hangs up.
Harold tells David that he has always wanted to keep the family together, but now he has to be with the woman who needs him, and only for a couple of weeks. Serena warns him that Svetlanka is using him, just as she used her. Lil has had enough of the arguing and discussion of her mother, and says she has to go out. David tells Harold to think of all the years he and David were apart, because if he takes Svetlanka's side, that's what he has to look forward to.
Luka walks by the hotel and Svetlanka stops him, and asks him to forgive her. She knows she's he's hurt, and she's sorry, but she's still his godmother. “Grandmother,” he corrects her. She adds that she'll always love him. Luka says that she knew who his mother was but kept it form him, and tells her to stay out of his life. He leaves. Lil has witnessed the whole thing a short distance away. She approaches Svetlanka. Svetlanka tells her she didn't want to leave without them making peace. Lil simply says that she wants her to stay away from Harold. She has destroyed their relationship, and she shouldn't rip apart Harold's family as well. She tells her to go back to Perth, but tell Harold to stay with his family where he belongs.
Susan gets off the phone with Bill, who has been worried about Karl. She wonders if she should make sure Karl is alright. Lyn tells her it's probably not best, and she should leave Karl and Izzy to deal with it themselves.
Karl pours himself a drink. Susan knocks on the door, and even calls out to him, but Karl chooses to ignore it. Susan walks off and Karl drinks.
Harold waits for the taxi to the airport. Serena and Stingray have come to say goodbye. Harold asks Serena to go and get Sky, but Serena tells him she won't come out of her room. The taxi pulls up and Svetlanka gets out. David and Lil watch on from the balcony but refuse to go downstairs. Harold asks the driver to open the boot, but Svetlanka tells him not to: she won't let Harold go with her. It's her own problem, and she should leave, but Harold belongs in Erinsborough with his family. They both say they love each other, and Svetlanka leaves.
Lyn meets Jack with exciting news: she has decided to change careers to become a life coach. She got the idea from one of her salon clients. She only has to take a course for a few months and she'll be qualified. She takes a dart from Jack's hand and throws it at the board. She hits the bull's eye.
Serena tells Luka to go to Perth. She feels it would make things better between her family, and he can still talk to Lil and visit, but he is not welcome. Luka, who knows that Lil feels completely the opposite way, tells her that she better get used to him because he isn't going anywhere.
Karl buys a drink at the pub and pockets the bottle. Susan comes in and they make some small talk, Karl hiding the drink. Susan tells him about visiting his place earlier but he didn't answer. Karl tells her he may have been in the shower at the time, because he didn't hear anything. Susan says that she's there if he ever needs her. Karl tells her he better be getting to the hospital and leaves.
