Karl telling Izzy they can't be together.
Gus following Izzy, telling her he knows she's pregnant with his child.
Izzy tells Gus they have nothing to talk about. Gus says he loves her and he has money to look after her. Izzy tells Gus she's not pregnant but Gus says he's seen the test. Izzy says she's got to get to work. Gus grabs Izzy's shoulder and says he wants to talk to her. Izzy tells him they can talk at work.
Karl is making lunch. He stares at the front door for a while. Picks up his car keys and runs out.
Gus has hold of Izzy and is telling her he loves her. Izzy says it's over. Gus says it's not over until he says it is. Karl sees that Gus is in the kitchen ad has a hold of Izzy. Karl rings the police on his mobile saying there is a potentially violet situation. Izzy is trying to get Gus to let go of her, promising to talk to him if he does. Karl walks in and asks if everything is ok. Gus tells him to leave. Karl tells Gus he needs to let go of Izzy, that she is frightened and so are the rest of the Hoylands. Izzy lets go of Izzy saying he was only trying to help. Karl gives Izzy the keys to his flat and she runs out. Gus tries to follow her but Karl tells him to let her go. Gus breaks down in tears and Karl promises to get him help.
Lyn is studying for her Psychology exam. Tom comes over and offers to take Oscar out for an hour so she can get some work done. Lyn agrees telling him he's a ‘godsend'
Susan is pushing Ben in the pram as Tom comes out of the Scully's pushing Oscar. They look at each other and have an awkward conversation about where they are off to. Tom says he's just going for a wander while Susan says they are going to the park. The both head off down different sides of the street.
Steph comes in and mentions to Lyn how cute it was seeing Tom with Oscar and Susan with Ben. Steph tells Lyn she knows what type of wedding dress she wants – a home made one.
STEPH: It doesn't have to be anything fru-fru.
LYN: Well it should be fru-fru.
Lyn wants to know if this is Max's idea. Steph says no, that Max wants a big wedding. Lyn says Steph should spoil herself seeing as Max is paying for the wedding. Steph tells Lyn not to be upset and she still wants her to be a part of the wedding.
Izzy is pacing the floor when Karl knocks on the door asking her to let him in. Karl tells Izzy Gus is getting help. Izzy throws her arms around Karl saying she was so worried about him. She then backs off and apologises. Karl tells her not to apologise, he made a mistake and asks Izzy to spend the day with him. They shouldn't worry about what other people think. Izzy hugs Karl she's going to make him so happy. Karl says she already has.
Tom is about to leave with a take away coffee when Susan and Ben walk in. Susan says she's just getting a juice for Ben. Tom leaves.
Steph is showing Max and Boyd brochures for places to have their wedding reception. Boyd thinks they all look the same. Max tells Steph if she likes it to book it as the wedding is meant to be a big occasion. Boyd thinks it's tacky. Steph says that Boyd has a point and maybe it is a bit over the top.
MAX: If you want a big traditional wedding that is exactly what we're going to have.
STEPH: Yeah, well, if that's what you want.
MAX: Yeah, well it is. If it makes you happy.
BOYD: This is ridiculous. You two are going around in circles.
Max tells Steph he's going to lay the cards on the table.
STEPH: Lay ‘em out Maxy.
MAX: My idea of a perfect wedding? Alright, I think we should rent a big place in the countryside. Big enough for all our closest friends and family, not too many people just a dozen or so. We hold the service there and we have the reception. It's a big garden
STEPH: what do we wear?
MAX: I don't know, what ever we feel comfortable in. and then you, me, Boyd and Summer, we all go down to Anglesey for the week, that's the honey moon. But that's just me.
STEPH: (jumps up) That's just perfect.
MAX: What you like the idea?
STEPH: I wouldn't change a thing
STEPH: yep, Nah, the Honeymoon maybe. Boyd and Summer can come down after a couple of days.
Izzy walks in and announces that they've found Gus and locked him up.
Susan is pushing Ben on the swing when Tom comes over with Oscar. Susan and Tom talk and Susan apologises if she said the wrong thing and made him feel awkward. Tom says he did feel a little awkward but he over reacted.
Max asks Izzy if she's ok. Izzy says it was lucky Karl arrived when he did. Izzy tells them Gus is getting help and he admitted to breaking in, cleaning house etc.. and he had an unusual fascination with them. Max says he feels responsible for Gus and he should have seen what was going on and helped him. Steph says they are lucky nothing more happened. Max says they should move on to more positive things. Izzy says she'll go first and announces that she and Karl are an item and she'll be moving in with him in a few weeks. Max says it's a bit soon but it's her decision. Izzy walks out and By days Susan is going to be angry.
Tom tells Susan how much he's enjoyed spending time with Oscar. Susan tells Tom he's really good with him. There's a lot of baby handling in my line of work. Most weekends I'm dunking one into a font. No disrespect.
Susan tells Tom she likes his sense of humour. Susan tells Tom she never meant to imply he leave the priest hood. Tom says he know she just hit on a raw nerve. Over the last few years he's been wondering If he made the right choices. Susan asks him if he feels like he's missed on out things. Tom says some things but you can't have everything.
Lyn is asleep on her laptop. Tom brings Ben home saying they had a great time. Lyn mentions Susan and tells Tom that Steph saw them together. Tom says Susan is great and they talked for hours. He tells Lyn he is going over there for dinner to help with the Amnesty letters. Lyn says she's glad Susan's got someone safe to talk to.
Steph says she's relieved Gus is out of the picture. Max says they are checking him into a Psych hospital tomorrow and he might go and visit him.
BOYD: Are you nuts?
MAX: Poor choice of words, Boyd.
Steph doesn't think it's a good idea as it may encourage him. Max says that he needs to talk about the $40,000 Gus gave him. Boyd says they should keep it. Boyd tells Max he should just leave it and reminds Max that Gus almost attacked Izzy in the street. Max says attacked is a little too strong.
STEPH: I would have thought him threatening your little sister would have been the last straw for you.
Susan is reading to Ben when Tom arrived. She checks herself in the mirror before she answers the door. Tom has bought over a bottle of wine which Susan says will go well with her lasagna. Tom gets some glasses and asks how many will be here for dinner. Susan says just the two of them and Ben as the others are out. Tom says he'll serve up. Susan comments about him knowing his way around the kitchen and Tom says he feels right at home.
Karl has made dinner for him and Izzy. Karl tells Izzy if anyone had told him, even a week ago that they would have been together he wouldn't have believed them. Karl says he's glad nothing happened in the beginning as it would of felt like a tawdry affair. Izzy says she hopes there is more to them than that.
KARL: I'm kind of hoping we'd be cuddled up like this when I'm old and grey.
Izzy pulls at Karl's hair: “When you're old and Grey? What do you call this?”
KARL: No please don't pull them out. I need every hair I've got. Izzy says she's not going anywhere and make Karl promise that whatever life throws at them they'll deal with it together.
